Whatever causes this virus, leaders should look for the solution and set aside this blaming /pointing fingers, they can discuss things after.

Yeah its not time for blaming and pointing fingers since this time cooperation is needed to conquer this virus but we cannot really control on what's running in the minds of opposition since they used the current situation to create anger and to distablise the administration and thus is happening in Philippines.

Hopefully this virus will end up soon so that we can see our favorite players running at banging on the hardcourt.

They will just sacrifice the 2021 NBA season or whenever they will return but damn, thinking it will happen means we still need to deal with the current situation for a long period.

I like the idea of extending the limitations of the audience presence, if they can proceed with that plan after this virus find the vaccine, it's much better to think of safer resumes both for the health of the players and those people behind this league. Though there's also considerations regarding to profits and the management needs that to continue this business. It's a balance that's needed to take place.

There are many people who have recovered from the virus itself and we already know that those that are severely affected are people that are old specially with health complications like diabetes and hearth disease, those are the high risk. So obviously, if you are a basketball player chances are, you are not old and doesn't have the that risk factors. So I don't know how a NBA player dunking after they have recovered will make a difference. We have so much to be learn from this virus, one thing is clear though: Age is a risk factor here. And people might response differently, one might be severely affected, while others are asymptomatic.

Right now, there is only way way to go with this and that is cancelling the season and not giving anyone a championship, anything other than that is making things a lot worse in every possible scenario.

Even if they somehow manage to close down a Las Vegas strip, put all players in hotels, make the games work, get absolutely zero corona virus spread, lets assume everyone ends up healthy without getting in, even with that best scenario you are being a bad example at worst, a lot of young kids love watching NBA and when they do something like that you are telling those kids its fine to go out and play ball, risking other peoples lives. That is why they should simply cancel and move on, there will be hundreds of NBA seasons in the future, and 50+ seasons before this, one of them ending up short wouldn't real matter in the grand scheme of things.

I wonder if any corona virused person left in the NBA, that should be one of the main topics moving forward. We all know it started with Rudy Gobert, than we heard about donovan mitchell, we know marcus smart and some lakers players and some nets players and durant as well. So we know some people, I am sure there must be some list of players who are positive and we would know about it.

Now if all of those players are back to being healthy and everyone recovered, that kind of would show the world that you can get the virus and get better and it is beatable and what you can achieve. USA is still going worse and worse, thousands of people die every single day, Corona has killed more people in the past 1 month than any other war USA has fought and that says something considering USA stays alive thanks to wars. Even if they are perfectly healthy with no issue at all in 5 months, that would be September or so, bringing the league back that late would be suicide, what are they going to do about next years season if they bring the season back at September.

Just make it a 2 month thing, and then give a week break and start the new season all over again? How are they planning to do free agency, trade deadlines, drafts? All of that has to be taken care of very quickly. All in all cancelling this season without a champion is still by far the best option.

They don't have much of a choice here.
If they go against what the government is trying to save then it might become just worse with what they want.

I know entertaining people is a good thing but this is a different case.
We are at war with something we cannot even see. It just goes to your body and can put you down without ever breathing again.
They all know that and I do think they are also afraid to just make everything worse.
Money can be created again but wasting a life can never be brought back.

I like Harden and I don't mind seeing him with his beard off. Maybe he won't travel a lot with his beard off.

On the other hand, we might see Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back this season? I am craving to see how they work together. And how they perform against the East powerhouse teams like Miwaukee and Boston. But I do smell disaster on Kyrie, guy seems more injury prone.

I am also worried with KD. An achilles injury might be curable now but we have seen a disaster with Cousins.
It might also keep on going back.

The difference though is the weight. KD is more lighter than Cousins so it might take long before KD's achilles injury will show up again.
