NBA has released temporary results from the NBA All-Star Voting which has been going on for about a week. Keep in mind that this is only the first round and is not final, so all sequences can change later. So what do you think about the temporary results? Is the player you vote already on the list?
No questions asked for Lebron, Giannis and Luka. Its quite surprising on the top 3 guards votes on East which they are just too near to each other.  Cheesy
Luka Doncic has a greater number of votes than Harden and the number is quite significant. it's true that the top 3 guards in the East not too different in the number of votes. but in my opinion, Kyrie Irving will remain in the top 3 on East until the voting ends.

Trae young and Doncic were also rivals for the Rookie of the year award, and now they are leading in voting in their respective conference.
West are composed of experienced and most likely hall of famers players and the East are composed of young and hungry players, this should be fun to watch.

Tray young will likely to return against the Celtics, so it's good to see him healthy again.

Dallas is back on the winning track, and once again we have seen some Luka Magic.

He shoots 5-8 in 3 points, scored a total of 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists, how about him being the all star MVP, is it possible also?

It ain't a problem as long as he perform well then he might achieve it.
But he is playing with stars too and I bet they all want to get that trophy and somehow boast it to his team mates afterwards.  Grin

First, I want him to be the captain in the West and not Lebron anymore.  Grin
Next, if the same thing happens where captains can choose their team mates then he may want those young players also playing with him.
Juts for fun and entertainment.

It's an expected result for these three superstars.

So what do you think about the temporary results? Is the player you vote already on the list?
The names are expected to be there but I haven't voted because I forgot to vote, when will be the next voting?

That was a good win, they need that to stop their losing streak, and Luka was impressive tonight so team looks great, they fought big in 2nd half for that win.

it's possible but if Luka will shy out in shooting the ball, he might not.
It also depends on his teammates and the coaching staff, if he will be given more minutes that the chance will increase.

of course it's expected that the west will win.
With his current stats with a well balanced figures for me he's a big competitive for this award, Luka can do things like how Harden and WB did, he's the team playmaker and if he wanted to hog the ball the licensed is all over him.
It will be decided coming from the votes as statistically wise all of those contenders do have the rights to receive the award.

Former NBA commissioner David Stern died from brain hemmorhage at the age of 77
link

He had huge impact on the NBA. When he took over back in 1984 league had only 23 teams and average attendance of about 11k. When he ended his tenure in 2014 league had 30 teams and attendance between 17-18k. So I would say that he did good job during those years.

I can still remember his voice.
Rest in peace for the face of the NBA before.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Charlotte Hornets tomorrow at 2.11 in the Money line. But -3.5 at the score.
Without Clarkson anymore and Exum not making much contribution for the Cavs this bet will be at risk.  Undecided

Dallas Mavericks though might be a good pick at -7.5 vs the Brooklyn Nets.
Money line is 1.90. Yes, I will bet for this.

The way the knicks handled the nets, I think dallas at 7.5 is a pretty good bet.  Nets will not be able to keep their heads above water without kyrie for much longer.  Spencer has been good but not enough to keep the nets relevant.  Dallas by 15 might be a reality.  119-104 dallas wins this one.

I thought so.
That is a low odds to give for the Brooklyn Nets since they don't have Kyrie. Congratulations to all the winners here.
That was an easy bet and don't need much of an analyst.  Grin

Here is one more to risk your money at.
A battle of the young Pelicans again with the Lakers.
New Orleans Pelicans +11 with +475 on the money.  Shocked
Their last battle was just a 4 point lead win for the Lakers.

Do we have the list of players already who will be playing in the 3 point contest?

Pretty sure Thompson and Curry will not participate, so we will see new faces and probably new championship this all star.

Oh shoot my bad lol. I was also thinking they played together since I remembered they both played in LAC. I haven't noticed Chris Pauls name isn't on the list, I just pulled up random 2017 LAC roster in the internet lol  Grin

There was a Paul in the list but it was Paul Pierce, "THE TRUTH"..lol...

All star is approaching, the good teams are still in the West so they'll likely to win the match.
Who is going to show up in the East, I would not be surprise if the line would be -10 west or more during the all star.

This all star, who is your bet on the 3 point shooting contest, I believe Luka will qualify since he has a good stroke and has a good percentage..
yeah I didn't check the stats but I notice he was good in 3 point shooting,.. That step back though.

On the other hand, I didn't expect OKC to be this better with just adding Chris Paul in their roster and Gallinari.
Both are team mates in Clippers and now they got bonded again. I guess that is also a plus for OKC.

Sorry I can't remember they were teammates, can you tell me what season they were teammates.

What I remember only is that the Clippers with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Jamal Crawford, and JJ Reddick, they are one of my favorite teams in the past.

Yes they were teammates in NBA 2017-2018 season when Harrell wasn't as outstanding as his performance this year.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAC/2018.html
They had a pretty solid line up with Tobias and Blake in it, too bad they got eliminated in the 1st round by the GSW.
I was looking into that link before I posted my last reply, I can't really find the name of Chris Paul, I tried "CTRL F"...

Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.
There's also the half bald, half amazing from Lakers (Alex Caruso) Grin
With his stats..https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/carusal01.html
I don't think he'll be voted.

Luka has now became more popular than Giannis, at least this season
Giannis had his time, this year belongs to Luka. I would have wanted him, Porzingis, and Dirk into the playoffs but the man was more than happy to retire and pass the torch to young Luka.

Young Luka, we are all talking about him this season, that injury in the past if it's serious would have ended all the hype, thanks God he is back.
I can't wait to see for the all star then the playoffs as most likely Dallas will quality.

Mavs’ Luka Doncic, Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo lead 1st All-Star voting returns

Dallas Mavericks forward Luka Dončić and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead their respective conferences during the first return of the 2020 All-Star voting.

No surprise to me. We all know that Luka Dončić gathered a great number of votes last NBA All-Star voting.

This time, there's no reason now that he won't be part of the upcoming All-Star game. I'm wondering if ever Dončić will be the captain, who will be his set of picks. Last All-Star, LeBron James picks is quite predictable because of some obvious reasons.

Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.

I hope Luka will be the captain.
Put Lebron with Gianis and create another young All Star team.  Grin That will be fun.

Dinwiddie please. That guy will put a good show. That is what All Star is about right? Some show.  Grin

Tomorrow will be a game with Houston against Philadelphia +3.5 @ 2.02. Betting for the 76ers here.

As expected since they are really performing from their respective sides of this league. Both players are also into MVP race, fans are loving how they
contribute to this game and by this voting stats the voice are really loud for this two young superstars.
LeBron though still in the favorite for front court votes together with Davis and Leonard, still have lots of time for this all star voting.
