Now the Mavericks have proven that they don't rely on one man to win, they have a system employed that makes them a better team.

now the mavericks are also hype because they beat the Bucks.
However, I would still not gonna trust them as this is just one game, maybe they just got lucky at this time so they got a win, and we know that Mavericks are very dangerous especially on the road.

I haven't check their latest record yet but I think they have a better road record compared to their home record.

OMG! I am shocked too. Dallas could win against a strong Bucks without Luka.
Haha, many were shocked including us with this defeat of Bucks. As we thought that this was already a sure win for them but I guess we're all wrong this time. Kudos to Dallas for breaking the streak of Bucks.

And that's a big handicap for them even without Doncic, they've won against a powerhouse and favorable team. We thought that the streak will be shown by Friday but it's all wrong.
AFAIR it was the bucks who stopped the winning streak of the Warriors way back, now they also got stop by a Dallas Mavericks that we don't even think has a chance of winning against the best team in the NBA since Luka was out due to injury.

Now the Mavericks have proven that they don't rely on one man to win, they have a system employed that makes them a better team.

I'm not shocked at the Mavs winning at all, I said that this game is a trap as the line should of been a lot bigger then the +10.5, clearly Vegas knew something and wouldn't move the line. I always see people fall for this when a big star doesn't play and more times then not that team plays well and covers or in this case wins the game. The Mavs have now beaten the Lakers and Bucks on their home courts which is interesting as most of us have the Bucks and Lakers in the NBA Championship finals. I really thought the best underdog was the Grizzlies but I took them to cover to be safe but it was a hard fought win by them in the end and I think they are a team to watch out for when playing at home.
Maybe you got a point there, Vegas is the gambling capital of the world and they might have the power to manipulate everything that includes gambling.the odds are heavily favored the Bucks and putting a bet to the Dallas team means winning a lot more. There might be something or someone behind this game. Only that's just a hypothesis I was saying though.

~snip~

Mavs has a great bench that's why they handled that game. I'm not surprised if they can make the Western Conference Final this Season.

As much as I also want the Mavs to reach the WCF, but there will be a lot of challenge for them to reach that far.
Lakers and Clippers surely are a great challenge for them, while the trailing Rockets and Nuggets are both a good playoff team with a lot of experience too. Experience is a big advantage and It was proven so many times in the playoffs. Reaching the playoffs will be the first step for the Mavs, winning the conference will be the next, and the last would be winning it all.

You are right, lots of bettors today got trap on the line, even myself loss a bit on this game because I was thinking that without Luka, Dallas would not be a good team but I was wrong, they played hard today and they answered on the challenge and even win the game on the road.

Luka should rest peacefully now, he should not worry about his team as they can handle good team even without him.

Disappointment comes because the Dallas beat the Bucks, though it was just four points, a win is a win for Dallas. Now, I can say that the Bucks cannot play intensive basketball when it come to playing against a strong opponents. Wait what? Duncic less Dallas beating the Bucks with Giannis on the court?

This just proved something. The Mavericks are now upgraded. It seems like their chemistry is getting better now.
Despite the 48 point double double of Giannis somebody stepped up for the Mavericks.
Porzingis and Seth Curry. What!!?? Seth?  Grin
I know he is some kind of a defensive player but thinking he would go with a 26 pointer game? Wow!!!

We will see now the Mavericks playing without luka in the whole game against the streaking bucks.
Las time against the heat, they rally in the 2nd half to make it a close game, can they do the same with the Bucks here or even stop the streak.
IMO, i think they will struggle as they lost a PG and their main scorer so buck here could probably dominate the Mavericks.

I'm thinking you are right.  Think the bucks are only favored by 10, I can see this game get out of hand early and see the bucks leading by 10-15 by halftime alone.  They are the real deal, excited to see the bucks lakers game soon.  Bucks -10 should be a decent bet.  Can see a 125-100 type of game here.

For me +10 will be a decent bet for the Bucks and they can easily cover that. They are averaging +13 this season and steam rolling opponents with or without Giannis.

And with Luka out, the spread of +10 - +13.5 is very attractive.

I agree with this bet too but haven't been yet, so I will make this bet now because I am convince with your opinion.
Giannis remains unstoppable and I think if Giannis can generate like 30 points or more and I am seeing the dallas mavericks here to struggle.

Since his in the rehabilitation for his injury, I think fans are a bit worried if he still can make it to the MVP race or he will be left behind by his competitors. Since Doncic will still be nursing for his injury, his competitors will be ahead of him in terms of statistical points and that would be hard for him to coup up. Anyways, as long as he can return healthy, the Dallas would be regaining their morale for their goals.

That's not gonna be the case. Statistically, his numbers wouldn't drop and will stays the same as he miss a few games. He will still be at the top of MVP race. In spite of that, MVP race doesn't purely base on stat sheets, but with everything like media, popularity, impact to the team, and list goes on.
So, there's nothing to worry about. Just be thankful his injury isn't worse.

You would think that Luka being out the line would be at least 13 to 14 and with the Bucks dominating at home I think this 10.5 line could be a trap and the Mavs could cover as most will jump on the Bucks to cover. I think the Grizzlies is the best to cover tonight, I got them to cover the +4.5 and I also like the Blazers to win.

Three of the biggest shocks I have seen this year from teams is Dallas Miami and OKC. Everybody knew Dallas would be better thanks to Doncic and KP because lets face it they couldn't get any worse anyway so last year they got a bit better but this year with KP coming back we expected them to be much better, however nobody expected them to be 3rd in west so far, maybe at early days thanks to good schedule and all but now we are over 25 games into season and they are still third, with Doncic missing they might drop a few but playoffs are basically guaranteed for them.

Dallas may quite be having a good record at the start of the season but it is still too early to say that they are guaranteed to be in the playoffs. Anything can still happen inside the court and that include injury issue that may drop them from being a playoffs contender.

Well if they have been cursed and lost Luka and Porzi at the same time then they could drop from the playoffs. But Luka's injury as per report is not that bad, so chances are they could play very well and could land in the 3-5 (worst) spots and obviously can make it to this year's playoff.

If you had a doubt, they are currently top 3 in Western Conference. I look in the standing and I can say the top 5 teams in West has a guaranteed spot in playoffs. Their stats are pretty fine makes them safe from falling out. As for injury you saying, it's not like all of their player were going to have injury. Just in case their top scorer will have a serious injury(hope not), they still have players who can step up and maintain their playoff spot. Maybe not in top3 but still inside 8 seeds.

This is like the first impression lasts. We see how consistent they are but yes, it's not the indicator if they'll be reaching the playoffs. I honestly, want to see them with the young superstar gets a spot on the playoffs and even further.

This is going to be an exciting playoffs if there will be no injuries with the stars.
Also to prevent so many reasons for a losing team.  Grin
It will be an exciting one but most of the time, we always see some strains and injuries normally happens even in the playoffs.
