Rockets vs Raptors tomorrow.. what do you think about this game, who will win, is it team Harden or team Siakam?

I like to know your opinion guys on who will win this game because I am betting on this game.
Both teams are good, Rockets are just hype because they have 2 MVPs playing with them but the Raptors can played solid defense and great teamwork.

Which is which?

And yet Raptors at -1.5. Damn it.

Houston is at 4 point lead now with 7 minutes remaining.
Didn't bet for this one but I am watching now. I just like how close the odds was. That means this could be a close game.
This is a Houston team without Gordon and Green while they are competing against a complete Raptors team.
Looks like the chemistry is broken with the comeback of Lowry and Ibaka.

How about Carmelo Anthony getting the remainder of his 1-year contract guaranteed? That puts him back on track. If he continues the way he plays now, he may get another contract next season. Well done Anthony.

Dallas is great and all but we are talking about regular season versus the playoffs. What many young people forget is that NBA plays a whole different game on playoffs, even the refs do not call most of the fouls. Have you ever considered why Rockets have been so amazing in the regular seasons for all seasons yet failed to deliver in the playoffs? Because, Harden is the type of player who gets 14.9 fouls per game, when refs stop calling for those fouls and people start defending him harder dude becomes a worse player.

So, Dallas is good and all that but as soon as playoffs comes they will have a huge trouble keeping up with all those no calls and harder defenses and more experienced players. In any case they have already proved people that if Dallas could build a better team around these two, they can contend for a ring one day.

Again, speculation. Obviously, once playoffs came, all teams will surely adjust have to adjust to the playoffs environment.

The question now is, how good their preparation for that adjustment and we will just see that once playoffs came.

We all know that season game is different from playoffs game because it's a head-to-head series. But for what teams are showing this season, at least we can have a glimpse of what will be their status once playoffs came.

Yeah, I forgot to edit since I already thought that game was finished with that score. Actually it was a close game and the run-in score by Denver was impressive, I really thought that they'll par on the score within the last minutes.

But well, they've lost and the momentum was with the Lakers.

Just seen the videos of the highlights, it was really a close game, Anthony Davis really did a good job playing defensively and then scoring 25 points. Lakers avoided back-to-back lost with this win.

Nikola Jokic was absent in the first half and I don't know why he doesn't want to shoot the ball though, maybe it was really a good Lakers defence on him. But he came aggressive in the second half, but not enough.
Yep, a very close one. I thought that it's going to be an overtime and they would eventually lose because they have been doing good. But as usual the last few minutes will always show the momentum if the scores are close.

And another victory again for Lakers against Jazz, looks like the fans of other team will have a new favorite now.

Tough pick.  If I had to say I would say houston.  But the over under is 230, to make it easy my bet would be on the over.  2 teams coming off loses who score at a fast rate.  I can see a 130-125 type game incoming.  Houston lives and dies by harden so if he is off a little toronto can easily win this one which is why I'd be hesitant to take the spread

When the total is high it will likely to go over, I read some article before that any total odds with over 230 or more will likely to go over so I would agree with you on this and knowing both are two good offensive teams, its could possibly go over.

If I will bet on the over 250.5,  I will get a pretty odds of 7.80, it's worth a shot.

Rockets are good but they will have to face the Warriors which is clearly the better team as they Warriors was a clear favorite to even win the NBA title last season and in the past season where they have been dominating the NBA.  Their line up is so good, they have curry, Thompson and Durant, but now that the team is struggling, maybe it's their time now to win in the West, but they have to beat Lebron and co, and Leonard and co, and I think the Rockets ave improve now since they have Westbrook on board to help Harden.
On current rankings on West of warriors they have 4W-19 loss which is on the last spot. Climbing on top 5 or even the top rank wont really be that easy if we do try to look up on dominating teams at the moment.

If it is just moneyline, I am going with Toronto Raptors on this one simply because they have the home advantage. This will be defense vs offense game. If toronto can hold back the scoring power of harden, they will definitely win this one.

With ML Raptors, you will get 1.75 of your bet, but if you will bet on -2.5 you will get 1.93, use price boost if you are betting on sportsbet so you get an increase of odds.

For me, I would bet on the Raptors as they are playing at home and they have a good record.
Rockets have westbrook and harden but they are inconsistent sometimes and Raptors has huge crowd and that support will inspire them more.
Just consider this, they are 8-2 in their last 10 games, and they are coming from a loss, so the bounce back factor is big.

Thank you for that advise, I might consider placing my bet on the Raptors in this match up, you are right, they are doing well thus far and even beating good teams likes Utah and Philadelphia, i still remember this, Embiid had a scoreless night.

Dallas got another win today, lots of contribution on different players, Luka does not have a double double today but what's important is they win at home, it was the 4th quarter big run that help them get a good lead against the Timberwolves and that was the team effort, other bench players were also contributing when starters like D. Finney-Smith and T. Hardaway Jr. were not contributing much on points.

Yes, I thought that T'wolves got this one, but Dallas come alive late in the third quarter. And then play some good defense in the fourth. Jalen Brunson is the spark in the 4th, hitting clutch basketball, but it was really a team effort. Porzingis scored 19 points as well, while Powell contributed 24. So in this game Luka and Porzingis had a good game, and they need to be consistent though so keep them in a good position in this crowded Western Conference.
They need to keep playing like this to enhance the chance getting to the final slot inside the west side, knowing how tough is the competitions with a lots of super teams. Luka's dynamic skills really placing them up and if they continue working together and always have a good blend this team will bring a lots of entertainment to the fans and also to those people who loves watching the game.

Exactly! And Lakers Defense is top notch this season. If you guys watched the game today between the Lakers and Utah, It's clear how the Lakers are improving their defensive effort.
On the other hand, I will choose experience over age in terms of playoffs 7 game series. It has been proven most of the cases in the playoffs. Remember how LeBron got swept by the Spurs in 2007. The young Boston Celtics against The Experienced Cavs in 2018 ECF (Brown, Rozier, and Tatum was playing great that time).

Yep. It's quite impressive and surprising that this team figured out the way to be its best version at the beginning of the season.

Lakers have one of the most prominent defenders in Avery Bradley. LeBron is LeBron, he can do it all. AD seems as a decent defensive option. Rondo is experienced and very inteligent player, he will fit into the defensive way of game in playoffs. Whoah, Lakers were supposed to be good but there's a million dollars for whoever thought that they will be THAT good. Contender created in only one summer from the broken and uncertain team. NBA, it's surely amazing.

KP doesn't have the ball most of the time that's why he has a limited score and time on the court. The main focus on offense for the Dallas is Luka which is proven effective in his decision making. I think the injury issue is also a factor to consider for KP and they can't afford to aggravate it this early of a season.

I think so too.
1 season out was bad already and they might be trying to secure the playoffs game if ever they will reach it which I think they will.
Preparing Porzingis might be their strategy for it that is why he is just playing for half the game if summarized.

T'wolves three point field goal percentage is like a dagger.
They lead at the 3rd but Luka came back at the fourth changing the pace of the game.
But the win of the Dallas against the Minnesota is for Brunson. That guy can slice thru anything and you will be shocked he is already putting a lay up.  Grin

Anyone noticed the stats of the the Dallas Mavericks players.
10 of them have points and rebounds while 7 have assists. What a great rotation.

...and I think they might still be an underdog if they will face any of the popular teams in the west that are consistent in the playoffs.

Yes, they will be an underdog. The same happened last 2010-11 playoffs where they are the underdog against the defending champion Lakers but able to take down this team in clean 4-0 sweep. And takes the favorite Miami Heat in the finals with the triumvirate of the superstars LBJ, Wade and Bosh but still managed to win the trophy that year.

Expect a nice odds to this team if ever Mavericks will successfully seal a playoff spot. Smiley

Looks to me like Luka and KP really needs to prove something before they can have greater odds of winning than the team they are against specially in the playoffs.

I am more worried about KP. Looking at his stats, it is still low but it could be enough for the minutes that he have.
20-25 MPG, PPG is 14 with 6 boards for his last 3 games.

Are they still worried about his injury which is why they put little minutes for him?

That's not a big thing, as long as the Lakers played good defense and Lebron and Davis are healthy, they can win against any younger team with less experience. The Mavericks are full of young players now but it doesn't mean they are better in the playoffs, experience still plays a vital role.
