Of course the Lakers has the highest chance of  winning the championship this season with the way LeBron and AD playing the game. But they should not be too complacent because the western conference is packed with championship caliber players and games will not be the same during playoffs time.
Not according to sportsbook, it's the clippers who has the highest chance of winning the championship as they are the heavy favorites, these 2 actually, there's only a small gap in the odds but I don't know what's the current odds now that Lakers are already consistent in the number 1 spot.
regardless, the most important thing is the finals, if Lakers will end up 1 and clippers 2, then we should set these 2 teams playing in in the western conference finals which both really have great experience.

Everyone is screaming LA LA.  I just dont think it will be that easy for either team to roll right into the finals.  1-8 in the west can make a statement in the next 20 or so games that swings everyone's thinking.  In the east I think it's a little more clear cut, it's very top heavy maybe 3 or 4 teams have a shot at really going to the finals, the rest are just not good enough yer
Those 4 teams IMO are the Bucks, Sixers, Celtics, and of course the defending champion Toronto Raptors who have been in a winning streak lately and impressed us by their recent performance beating the Utah Jazz easily.

I can't believe how great Raptors have been but I seriously think Clippers will have a bit of trouble on the playoff part. I mean PG13 has always been a very injury prone player and Kawhi is well known for missing out games, now they are back and they are looking like they are decent, don't get me wrong I would give them the biggest title chance with both Kawhi and PG on the floor but right now Lakers are looking like a well oiled machine (even with the Dallas loss) so I feel like maybe we have overreacted on the whole Clippers thing?

Maybe, just maybe Lakers were better all along? I know we gave up hope on Lebron last year because he realized he wouldn't make it to playoffs and gave up but we all are seeing how hard he plays out there now, Lebron playing with a heart is actually very terrifying.

We have seen Los Angeles Clippers last season gives the healthy Golden State Warriors a difficult road to win last playoffs. That means that they can do well even without Kawhi and Paul George. Of course, with Kawhi and PG, they are much good but it doesn't mean they are nothing without these 2.

As for the playoffs, Kawhi's load management concerns or whatever people called it will be out of the topic now. He played a perfect attendance last playoffs in the Raptors. And, isn't it the only reason why these load management issues arise?

It's really hard to speculate who will emerge at the top. The expected team to win sometimes ending up losing. Lots of good examples last season.

I'm with you I am a little surprised at Toronto's success.  Saikam is a superstar in the making and the rest of the team is better than thought.

As far as the clippers missing Kawhi he is just resting during the season he will be turned full throttle come playoffs.  With these vets you get a different player in the playoffs than you do the regular season.  I have denver sliding in over both this year as a major upset pick.  Denver vs Milwaukee in the finals  Shocked

Maybe, just maybe Lakers were better all along? I know we gave up hope on Lebron last year because he realized he wouldn't make it to playoffs and gave up but we all are seeing how hard he plays out there now, Lebron playing with a heart is actually very terrifying.

The first time they met this season, the Lakers lost to the Clippers and that is playing without PG13. Now that PG13 is healthy, the offensive and defensive power of CLippers is raised exponentially. Of course, playoffs are different because teams have time to adjust. It will be a battle of the coaches. But in terms of firepower, Clippers is ahead over the Lakers.

Load management will not be a problem with the Clippers because their secondary line up is still tough to beat. They can win even when PG13 or Kawhi is resting. These two can be prone to injury but if their load is well managed, they will be strong and healthy come playoffs and finals.

I hear bad news here. a few days ago Memphis Grizzlies announced that Ja Morant will miss a few weeks because Ja Morant suffered a back strain when Grizzlies faced against Jazz on Friday. I hope he will be fine. Do you think that Ja will still lead ROTY when he returns guys?

This will hurt his stats. Now Zion will have a chance once he got back.
RJ Barrett is still improving and he might also end up as ROTY but he needs to also keep his pace.
There are also rookies out there that had been contributing good for their team.
There is Paschal, Nunn and Herro.
Now I think Barrett is now looking at the stats of those names and might have an idea now if he really wanted that trophy.

In almost teams there is someone who can make the difference and lead the team, like LeBron James in Lakers, Leonard Khawi in Clippers, James Harden in Houston Rockets, but there is a special player this season who lead Dallas Mavericks and make the difference in many games, Luka Doncic was unstopable, he do what ever he want, he's really awesome!
Im already expecting for Mavericks to win the game win the score gaps on 20+ in 3rd or 4th as i remember. Lakers defense is way too open which do give out
opportunities on open 3's for the other team.

I cant really deny that Doncic is really good.Cant be stopped if he do likes to drive to the basket or neither making up some 3 point shots.Sad to those who bet on Lakers this time.  Smiley
Doncic on his second year in the league already made an impact, he's creating he's portfolio in front of those superstars who still playing around the league. It's nice for him as he's not a ball-hog  type of  a player but play oppositely, young Doncic allows his teammates to play and enjoy while he's taking the charge. The game against Lakers today showed that Mavs is maturing and gaining more experienced facing more stronger team and compete with high
hope and dedications to win.

He can because most good PG can really score, we will certainly see more double double from Luka as he is a great PG and a good offensive player as well.
I have seen him struggle only against the Clippers and it seems like only Clippers knows the recipe on how to slowed down Luka.

There are still a lot of games remaining for this season, if only the Clippers knows how to limit  him, then for sure winning for the Mavericks is not hard, they are starting a small winning streak again, its 2 already I guess.

It would not be that surprising that the clippers will score that huge specially against a lower seed team. With Kawhi and George playing well, they can really outscore the opposing team with over 30 points.

Unfortunately, they only outscored the Wizards by 25 points, I was 1 point short on my bet Cippers by 26+.
Maybe next, but I like how the Pistons routed the Spurs who recently beat the Clippers, from a long struggle, I guess they are back like the Blazers.

Next will be against Portland. This might a better chance for risking your money.
I might bet with Portland if they would put a good addition for them.

good move I would say, maybe Blazers here will be the underdog though they are playing at home.
Clippers has one day rest and that is enough to prepare for a big game. this is the time for Melo to show up against basketball greats.

They are on a 3 game winning streak now and I think they still have the winning aura if they will face against the Clippers.
Melo is on fire now. It is just a slow start but he is gaining his phase. Double double against the Bulls.

Ride with tide, lol.... Melo is legit, seem to find the way of winning again, but we know Clippers is one of the best team in the NBA if not the best.
Good luck, I might consider on this game if the line will be available.

Guys,

What do you think about

Wizards vs Clippers game tonight?

Clippers are the clear favorite, but I plan to play it on +8 @ 2.90.IMO it's worth the risk at that odds.

Clippers won again even with the handicap. It might not really be a good offer at all.

It would of been a clear one to load up on since at the half they are up 82 - 55 for the clippers! Shocked
When I turned it on I thought I was looking near the end of the second half when I saw la at 75 points. Lips sealed
They just tied their half time record scoring at 82 points when they scored this same amount of points back in march.

It would not be that surprising that the clippers will score that huge specially against a lower seed team. With Kawhi and George playing well, they can really outscore the opposing team with over 30 points.

Washington Wizards last win was against the Phoenix Suns which is also getting weaker. Don't really know what is happening with that team.
But to sum it up Wizards recent wins was not that great and that is why they were crushed by a strong team like the Clippers.

Their next game will be the Magic and then the 76ers. I bet they will be a having a losing streak with those games in line.
Sorry for the loss BigBoy if you ever bet on it.
