Kemba walker is finally BACK.

He contributed big time on their win against the Brooklyn Nets, IIRC, this is his first game coming from injury, right?

This guy just dropped 39 points and of if you look at the rest of the team, you can tell how well they are moving the ball because they also did have a good scoring night.

Luckily Kemba doesn't suffer a severe neck injury and now performing like nothing happened. It's like he managed to escape career ending injury because it's his neck that's sprained. Dropping 39 points coming from injury is really amazing.

yeah that was amazing, I never expected he will have that kind of come back game, I thought the Celtics are overvalued since they are -8.5 against the nets and I did not count him as a big factor to help the team win and just realize it was a mistake, he was alright and it looks like that injury helped him to be better,

Yeah the celtics look like a completely different team with Kemba in the lineup.  But the nets are still missing kyrie, this would be a different game if kyrie plays.  Both teams actually match up well when both at full strength.  8.5 points at home against a kyrie less nets was definately a good bet.

4 point lead for the Lakers with 4 seconds. That is goodbye already.
It was intense though.
But look at Anthony Davis. Despite being booed at his ex-homecourt he still manage to get 41 points. Wow! He is really something else.
This is his day.

Lakers won due to a big comeback in the 4th quarter, they are a legit team, they are down with like 15 points at some point but they are strong enough to not give up and comeback, Davis showed that his decision is correct to leave the Pelicans, that's all.  Grin

Yeah it was really AD which made a big difference.
Funny, I didn't see that coming.
I thought he is going to be the wingman of Lebron until they reach the playoffs.
The guy showed off his skills and this is the reason why the Lakers really tried to get him pairing with Lebron.
KCP is not working at that time and so are the other guys. AD really stepped up. Thumbs up to him.
Lebron understands his role and he is on a big goal of winning a championship with the LA lakers.

He knows the capability of Davis that's why he wants him to play with him and he was not wrong in picking Davis as he is what he was expecting.
When Lebron act as point guard, a lot of good things will happen for the Lakers.
just a simple play, he will bring the ball, if there is no other option, he will drive to attract defense, either pass the ball or just shoot, but the offensive rebound can still be in their advantage since both guys are talk and really physical.

It was the lakers who dictated the pace here as the game did not hit the over.
That 4th quarter killed the pelicans, but since the spread is too high for them to cover, it didn't happen, and lakers loss on point spread.

4th quarter was 35-21, that's 14 points advantage by the Lakers so they were able to come back.

another double double for Lebron but Davis scoring 41 points is insane.

Exactly! The Lakers are in full control for the rest of the game though they were down as much as 15 in the 3rd.
I just noticed the Lakers has a habit of letting the opponent score ahead of them until the 4th, just to destroy them at the end.
Btw, Davis has the most points against the former team on the first meeting with 41 points and a game saving ft and steal.

We can trust that kind of team because they understand that 4th quarter is the winning time.
Like I also noticed when Lebron was still playing with the Cavaliers, their team was not really good in covering the spread as they usually rally in the 2nd half of the game, they are not like the Warriors ( i'm talking of the healthy squad) where they can dominate from the start to the finish, that's why the betting spread is high.

But imagine what if the Pelicans won that? How much was the odds here? I haven't looked at it yesterday.

The spread was lakers favored by 5.5 so actually they didnt hit the spread.  That was a good game for sure.  I didnt touch this game because the pelicans play fast and I didnt know how the lakers would do against that kind of pace.  It didnt seem like their strong point but they did out last them.

So many spectators rooting for the win of Lakers 😂, I really may be lucky if the Pelicans make an advance today,... I wonder how many points they could get this time for they have an actual average of 90-120 points every game, and they should atleast get better than that if they were really intend to beat Lakers 😁
Pelicans still in lead, Holiday might be in his holiday season and making more points for the Pelicans while Lebron and Kuzma is not doing any good
productions. Though there's still a lot of time and if ever Lakers will push it harder they can still catch up and try to win this game.

Average points do not mean much because they will highly differ according to which team they are playing against.

Pelicans against the Lakers is currently live and it looks like they are making a good play against the team of the king. Will they be able to maintain this lead up to the last second? Let's watch for the answer.

Was this mysterious injury planned or not?

As much as I want to believe that's a plan or not, Celtics fans are just overreacting and can't even move on. They are a better team today without Kyrie and even back when Kyrie was injured.

That's a big slap for Terry Rozier.

Yeah and why do they hate Kyrie that much. The guy didnt even play much with the Celtics because of his injuries. Grin

Celtics is still strong and in fact getting stronger. With Tatum growing more and Kemba helping for a better offense then I bet they can still make it to the playoffs. They dont need to be that hurt against Kyrie.

He might just be really injured. We will see.

Do you think Kyrie Irving's shoulder injury is legit or it's just an excuse for him to not play these last couple of days?
I am not sure also but why on Earth he will fake it in ssuming that he really got no injuries in the first place? If you have health problems then don't play but if you don't have then play, as simple as that. Why there's always an issue building up regarding this topic? I noticed that it's not happened by accident, before was about Kawhi and now on Kyrie. Hmm, I'm really not sure whether they are just making an excuse not to play or not so for now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt Smiley.

Besides isn't it too hot for Lakers having a straight wins, this something like playing dice games LoL the amount of luck will alse be depleted even once for a while. (Actually I made a bet on the Pelicans for tomorrow's Game 😂)

Apparently, Lakers' winning streak wasn't a product of beating the house by luck. Smiley They worked for it and we have seen how good they were on that winning streak. No luck involved but pure team effort. Everyone is contributing.

Anyways, good luck on your Pelicans ML bet. You will surely have a good return if Pelicans managed to upset the Lakers. This is a good opportunity for those former Lakers players (Ball, Ingram, Hart*) to show this team what they lost.

Do you think Kyrie Irving's shoulder injury is legit or it's just an excuse for him to not play these last couple of days?
Nets had to play the Knicks in New York on 25th (everyone thought Kyrie and KD were going to sign with them), then a game in Cleveland on 26th (the team he requested to be traded from) and two back to back games with Boston (a team he publicly promised to resign with).

Who among you guys have a feeling that LA. Lakers will lose to tomorrows Game? I really have a feeling here that the Pelicans can have a boost of scores on this upcoming game. Besides isn't it too hot for Lakers having a straight wins, this something like playing dice games LoL the amount of luck will alse be depleted even once for a while. (Actually I made a bet on the Pelicans for tomorrow's Game 😂)
I don't think so because I believe the opposite. I think they can win this easily because Pelicans is not as threatening as the other teams. Despite playing outside their home, they can pull this off simply because they will play against a younger line up and without Zion too. Their experiences could definitely add up on their advantage.

Anyway, props to you for being brave to go against the flow. I hope you will win, hmm maybe you are right tho. Maybe now is the right time for Lakers to cut their win streak lol Grin.

I too have a feeling but for Lakers to win, lol...
Though they are on a winning streak but this is a legit team and a good team in the NBA, so we can't question their achievement and its always been my strategy to don't go against the streaking team and tonight I will not go against the Lakers.

anyway, good luck to us whoever wins the game.
