Jrue is really something else adding 9 assists in his game.
This guy can make triple doubles if he put his game in a higher level. While Ingaram also snatching 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Congratulations to the Pelicans.

Good balance of offense from the 3 players who scored over 20 points, they are starting to win now, hopefully they'll stick to this until Williamson comes back.

I hope he does.
He is young and his team mates are the same.
Lonzo Ball and Ingram won't have problems with their chemistry. They already have that since the Lakers time.
Now, if Zion could enter quickly then that means he could input something to the two.
A kid with the strength of a forward and the speed of a guard.
There will be a lot of highlights if they could sync together.

6th winning streak for the Bucks. Next is Pistons. Can they stop this streak?   Wink Bledsoe was on fire.

I don't think it's the end of LeBron era. Though is is at the twilight of his skills, he can still show how deadly he can be in the court. Basing on how he played recently, he is still above the level of Luka. Duncic still has a lot to prove that this is his era and yet not now.

Agree, Luka hasn't won a regular MVP, Finals MVP and a championship, lebron has achieved all of that awards.
He is still playing well, he get triple double from time to time and his team is still in the number 1 spot.

Luka is sensational, he is the hottest NBA player now IMO, but let's see if he can continue to perform like this for years and bring his team to the championship, Lebron did that when he was still young in the cavaliers but he never won a championship until he joined forces with Wade and Bosh.

It is really weird to see Golden State Warriors being trashed like this, after years of dominance. At least they will have solid chances to get nr1 pick in the next draft. With a bit of luck  and healthy team,   they might be contenders again next year.
With their key players out for some months, I expected this to happen already with the Warriors. I'm a warriors fan as always but this season, I will pick another team who will be champion and I believe that they will make a comeback next season when their key players are back + their draft pick.

Luka Doncic is taking over the NBA one triple-double at a time
I have also watched a video and he has achieved many things in their game against the Warriors and Spurs. Lemme enumerate some:
  • His 40 pt triple double against the Spurs I think is the 2nd time that a 20 yr old has made and the first who did it? His Idol LBJ
  • He and KAT are the only players in the past 15 seasons with 20 pts, 5 reb and 5 assist in a single quarter. Source
  • He is the first player to outscore, outrebound and out-assist a team in a quarter since Allen Iverson on Feb. 19, 2003 against the Bulls. Source
There are some more but you can just visit the twitter page @ESPNStatsInfo

Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram and JJ Redick having a monster game again.
Despite the lack of power forwards for this team, they can still make it winning agianst a strong Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix suns is not strong anymore, they are expose with their losing streak, and in this game, there is no Rubio and Baynes but overall they gave a very exciting game.

Credits to your efforts Sir for enumerating all of that.

Luka, damn Luka.
I am a man with a wife and 2 kids but I really have a crush to this guy.  Grin
His presence and cleanliness is something that lights the whole floor when playing.
Add his intensity and his skill set when he is playing. Wise and a good team player.
Yes he is a star now. There would be no question when he suddenly become this season MVP.

For why, well LogitechMouse said it all. Thank you.

Its unusual to see those teams on bottom ranks yet we already know on how they do perform on past seasons and as you said they are usually
placed on top spots but now what happened? We cant still conclude yet since its still a few number of games though and as said anything can
switch up from bottom to the top but we can really make some comments and views with these unusual events. This years season is very unpredictable
due to those player switch ups.

There are not much changes in Phoenix and Blazers but these teams switch positions in the standing. Although in Blazers, there is a reason as Lillard is out, for Suns on that Top 8, we can say that they are a rising team in the West today.

But right, too early to tell since the rank 14 Spurs is just 3 wins away from the top 8 which is the Timberwolves. And if we put the rank 14th Spurs into East, they will be at rank 9th to 10th so it's really hard to catch up in the West if the team is always losing during the early period of the season.

As stated previously in this thread I do enjoy watching Denver play and cheer for them (when they arent aying the knicks) because they play good basketball which is nice to watch.  But you wont catch me with a denver hat on or anything

An underrated team, I think they even have a chance to beat the best teams in the West with the way they are showing now.
Jokic will improve and matured, so as his teammates and that would help them to compete in the tight and strong competition in the west.
We've seen them keeps improving and the blend of chemistry is really giving them the types of games they wanted to showcase. Denver is very quiet but yet a competitive team, they can bring good competitions against those so called super teams.

Jokic being the main man is doing his best to lift his team and brings out the best from his teammates, if they continue being healthy they have a good and competitive chance.

Seems like hardcore fans of GSW is too quiet now. Cheesy

Let them take a break for now. And besides, for me, it's not surprising after all if the Warriors ended up on the bottom since we all know what happens.

What's more surprising to me is those who are in the bottom last season are now in the Top 8 on the West. So unusual to see the likes of San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers at the bottom since they are used to seen always in Top 8 even at the early phase of the season.

Anyways, we are not even yet on half of the season so expect that changes will surely happen. The gap between W/L is not that large. The competition is really tough as always in the West so every win matters.

Just to post the current season standings.

Seems like hardcore fans of GSW is too quiet now. Cheesy

And there goes the Nuggets once again.
Although I have been losing quite some money betting on them (lose because of handicaps) I dont regret it.
I am being more pumped watching their games with my bets on the line.

I guess I just need to be more careful by now, or I will just win the other games. Grin

I am also a GSW fan. I love Curry. But this team is just broken down. We may not see a good event in this team.

For this season, they are done, hard to accept for most fans but that is the reality.
Curry and Thompson may come back this season but they will not push Curry and Thompson to the point that they might get injured again.
They are in the bottom of standing now, it's hard to catch up in the playoff spot as when they come back form injury, it doesn't mean they are already back to their normal form, some adjustments will be made and they need more playing time to finally back in shape.

Yeah you will be hard pressed to find golden state fans this year.  In the bay area they will still come out for their warriors but this country wide golden state fan bull will end.  I live thousands of miles away and last coue years seen jerseys on "fans" all the time.  Now, not a one of them.
There is no sense of wearing it if you are not proud of what they are doing lately, maybe the sales would also drop significantly this season due to the problem the team is experiencing now. But don't worry mate, if they can't come back this season, they will surely have a good next season as long as Curry, Thompson, and Green will all remain healthy.

That's not real fandom.  I've been a knick fan all my life.  They've sucked for 20 straight years.  I still rock their wool hats in the winter and jerseys/shirts.  And yes I agree when those guys come back they will be fine it's just funny to see all those people disappear within 10 games of them sucking  Cheesy

Luka Doncic is taking over the NBA one triple-double at a time

The 20-year-old Slovenian sensation has been running roughshod over the NBA so far this season, and the guard dominated once again Wednesday night for the Mavericks, recording his seventh triple-double in 14 games as Dallas destroyed what’s left of the Golden State Warriors, 142-94.

This is a bit of an old news but I'm surprised no one has talked about Pau Gasol being waived by the Blazers. The reason was that he's recovery from surgery seems to be longer than expected. They are currently looking at a possibility of giving him a coaching role instead while recovering in Portland.

It's probably a good call by the team and for Pau to retire. He's already accomplished a lot when he was a Laker.
Giving him spot inside the coaching role is a good call instead of trying to recover and play back, he already proven he's worth he should give his spot to another players who can help the team. Considering the performance of Blazers even after adding Melo they need another quality player to help them up and make a good impact to the team. The team barely need to have good adjustment to whoever player to fill the position.
