What happened to the Rockets? It turns out my predictions for the Rockets were correct; they only won around 1-3 games in their last ten games. From 10-game winning streak, they are now 10-5. It's a shame; if they had continued winning, they could have still made it to the Play-in tournament. But now, they're completely out for the play-in tournament. What do you think, if Alperen Sengun didn't miss the remaining games will Rockets make even the Play-In Tournament? Better next time for the Houston Rockets!

In that Pelicans win, I think they are also pushing their capabilities, knowing that keeping the spot for the playoff is important whoever awaits them they just need to work on it and try to win the series.

Pelicans needs to ensure they'll be in the playoffs so they will be playing a 7 game series, that way also they have a chance to have Ingram back if he would recover in time, which would help to increase their chances. If they will finish at the number 4 and Suns will be at 5, I'd say that would be a great series as Pelicans will gain the home court advantage and they have proven they can beat the Suns even without Ingram, so good match up for them.

No Steph Curry, no Andrew Wiggins, no problem.

Klay Thompson in the first half and then Jonathan Kuminga in the second half. Both players are explosive today to win against the young undermanned Utah Jazz. Kuminga was out for 6 games and came back full of energy. Commentators thought he was going to be rusty but that's not the case. He is moving and doing what he is good at, attacking the paint, rebounding, and being a defensive player. That young guy sure has a good future ahead as long as he can keep up this kind of pace and I bet the Warriors will keep him for a long time.

Spreads on the hand were not covered. -10.5 was the starting spread and the garbage time messed it up. Ergh!

Klay was on fire at the first half, that was the Klay I know, he can explode anytime. It doesn't matter if the spread wasn't cover at least they still win. Anyway, I think they are already contended with their ranking as the probably the best rank they'll finish is either 9 or 10 which will play in a do or die game. They need to conserve their energy, make that do or die game a win for them to have a chance for another do or die game. This is hard for the Warriors but they should pass all this if they want to be in the playoffs.

Anyway, I thought the Pelicans will just keep  losing, but they break their streak and beat the red hot Suns, now they are tied in ranking but they can still reclaim that 6.

Yeah, seems that Warriors already good if whatever the position before the Play-in as long as they will have that opportunity to move forward, and like what you describe Klay being Klay will really bring decent for the team, they just need to conserve everything for the Play-in and try to beat whoever their assignment to move forward for the second round.

In that Pelicans win, I think they are also pushing their capabilities, knowing that keeping the spot for the playoff is important whoever awaits them they just need to work on it and try to win the series.

They needed that win, although they are guaranteed a play-in spot but they need to keep that momentum to have that winning mentality. Klay is still getting good minutes, he needs to be consistent because a mistake in the play-in will result to end of their journey. I don't understand why they love to be in this situation, it's just so hard to watch a team that was so dominant in the past are just trying to be in the play-in.. it's a hard battle for them but in case they'll succeed, I think they are strong enough play a 7 game series vs the top 1 or 2.

Anyway, I thought the Pelicans will just keep  losing, but they break their streak and beat the red hot Suns, now they are tied in ranking but they can still reclaim that 6.
Looks like the Pelicans owned the Suns. I didn't check the stats though but based on my observation, Pelicans are just winning over the Suns, they know how to beat the team and in case they'll face in the playoffs, it should be uncertain for the Suns if they'll advance in the 2nd round.

The Lakers won big at home with a 19 point lead over the visiting Cavs. The Pelicans are performing bad lately, they keep losing. I expect the Pelicans to lose again tomorrow against the Suns who will surely avoid dropping in the 7th slot. The Lakers should overtake the Pelicans in the rankings tomorrow.
The loss of Ingram was really huge, they started their struggle when Ingram was injured, and unfortunately there's no time table yet as to when he will return which is bad as they might fall and will have to be in the play-in.

Here's the latest update about Ingram, still negative.

Brandon Ingram still has no timetable for return

Yeah, as we know that Ingram really brings good numbers especially  with their offense, losing him adds more burden to Zion, more productions and more loads to carry the entire team, though with CJ helping them but still ain't enough, they need Ingram as the Playoffs is nearing looking forward seeing them to continue competing and maybe able to reach the playoffs.

And the Pelicans won on the road. I lost my bet but it was an exciting game. Both have their momentums. CJ and Zion carried the team as both stars produced more than 50% of the total score. Bradley Beal had a big night, he seemed unstoppable with his threes. Now both are them are tied in the 6th and 7th spot. It will be very interesting in their next games as both teams avoided the 7th spot. Brandon Ingram should be back soon to help the Pelicans fight for a better standing.

Meanwhile, the Bucks and the Cavs lost again. Cheesy The Cavs are 1 game safe now from that 2nd spot at #5. 1 more defeat and the Bucks will be tied with the other teams at 2nd to 4th.

Watching the Knicks ay right now I've come to two conclusions.  For one the Knicks are in trouble.  Jalen brunson is a dam beast in the paint but he needs help.  Julius randle going down for the season crushed them, they need him on the court.  And the second is the Bucks are totally beatable.  They are down 10 points as we speak but they play so soft.  They will get beat up by a team that bangs down low and can play on the outside.  It's so tough being a knicks fan🤨

Seems like the light is shining on the women’s college tournament at the moment. Games are breaking all viewing records and so far the tournament has been a disappointment. It all ends today for the women with a championship game. I think it is good timing as well. The end of the NBA season is more about getting rest than preparing for the playoffs in my opinion.

Edit: Congrats to South Carolina for overcoming Caitlin Clark. I know all the WNBA players were hoping she’d lose…

It's good to see that D'Lo is at it again, he should gain that confidence as the Lakers need his 3 point shooting as they are so bad on that department last playoffs or WCF versus the Nuggets.

LeBron and Davis need the support of Russell and other teammates in the playoffs since the Lakers will most likely play in the first round against either the Wolves or the Nuggets. Obviously, LeBron and Davis can't do it alone versus such strong opponents, and the problem for the Lakers is that Russell doesn't always perform as well as he did versus the Cavs.

Lakers only problem is their bench but their starter is pretty solid right now. If AD will be consistent on dominating the paint, They will have a good chance to have a good run in then playoffs.

What do you mean by "problem" there?

Just because most players on the Lakers bench aren't that famous or popular, they are considered a problem. These guys are solid role players too.

They are just not getting enough playing time, since for now, the priority is to focus mainly on starters as they are catching up a nice spot in the post-season to avoid the hassle of play-in tournament. But this entire season, this second squad, when being executed properly by their coach, are all playing well.

It's the Lakers, I'm more interested on the development of the Lakers as they have been playing like they are on a mission, winning streak keeps their hopes not to be in the play-in tournament but to secure a playoff spot after the regular season will end.

It's good to see that D'Lo is at it again, he should gain that confidence as the Lakers need his 3 point shooting as they are so bad on that department last playoffs or WCF versus the Nuggets.

Lakers has a much better position now compared to last year since they have a healthy AD while AR develop well known compared before. They also have Dinwiddie as 6th man and play alternately to Rui.

Lakers only problem is their bench but their starter is pretty solid right now. If AD will be consistent on dominating the paint, They will have a good chance to have a good run in then playoffs.

Denver Nuggets is really strong. I thought I am not going to win my bet @-14.5 because Nikola Jokic feels likes he doesn't have the energy to play. But somehow a lot of players stepped up their games. KCP was phenomenal and I think that is his season high 6/9 in three-point line, MPJ, Justin Holiday, Peyton Watson and Reggie Jackson. 23 out of 41 behind the arc and this is the Nuggets that I love to watch. The bench scoring and helping out on both ends of the floor, while Jokic just doing his natural game, then Jamal Murray's return probably had something to do with that energy going up.
Now, they are back at the top of the West after a tie with the Timberwolves.
The line was set up that high for a reason, seems like all the favorites have won and covered the spread. With the return of Murray, that's really something for the team as they are now ready for the playoffs and they could fully defend their title being the defending champion.

What I'm surprised actually is the game of the Lakers and Cavaliers, as it seemed like Mitchell is still not 100%, though he played a lot of minutes but finishing by only 10 points is just uncharacteristics of him.

Lakers continue to win games as they are really trying to secure the spot for the playoffs I think with the current roster and the chemistries that they are showing anybody is helping and they are not shy now to take the lift and not just to lean with how LeBron wants to play the game, D'Lo who played so well again leading the team with 28 points, while both LeBron and AD also got 20+ in this game, Cavs still in a good spot for the Playoff still on the 3rd spot though still too early and still plenty of games to play.

I don't care about the Cavaliers though as they'll make it to the playoffs regardless of what would be the outcome of their remaining games. It's the Lakers, I'm more interested on the development of the Lakers as they have been playing like they are on a mission, winning streak keeps their hopes not to be in the play-in tournament but to secure a playoff spot after the regular season will end.

I smell something in the east. The Bucks are losing straight, are they avoiding the 7th or 8th slot which could be Philly and Miami? And so the Cavs are also losing to avoid surpassing the Bucks in the second place. But it makes sense though, it is harder to beat Philly because Embiid is back while the Miami is always dangerous during the playoffs.
Both teams are probably doing the same, we have no idea but seeing the Cavs and the Bucks having a losing streak, that's quite strange.
If they are afraid to face Miami or Sixers, they will still have to play them once they pass the first round.

So what they are trying to do is just to avoid an early exit? They don't believe they are a championship team?

Bucks  understand the risk maybe that's why they are doing it, or maybe there's reason behind, also possible that there's something behind knowing that betting bookies loves to play with gamblers emotions.

With the Pelicans and Kings losing earlier, the Lakers can snatch the 8th seed tonight if they win against the Cavaliers. The Pelicans lose to the Spurs, and with that loss, the Pelicans' record is 45-332, 1 game behind the Kings and the Lakers. Kings, on the other hand, did manage to get close in the closing minutes, but still, the Celtics managed to win the game, 101-100. Those games for Pelicans and Kings are important since they are in the play-in spot, so every game should be a win since they are chasing the places. 7th and 8th seeds are much better seeds in the play-in since it will give you comfortability.

Speaking of the Lakers, they are now tied with the Kings with a record of 44-43. If they manage to win the game against the Cavs, they will be sitting in the 8th spot. Lakers and Cavs are both healthy, so we can see a great matchup today, and if the Lakers manage to win all the remaining games, they can be at the 7th or 6th seed at best.

Yeah, with the current standing Lakers can take that position if they will continue winning their remaining games, just like what I've read in some social media channel where LeBron said tha the focus is to keep winning, just one win at the time and they will see decent outcome, the game between Cavs and Lakers might be interesting as each teams that have decent chance to move to the second rounds,

will surely do everything that they can to win the games, position is very important I guess one of the reason why Lakers needs the wins to secure the playoffs spot.

Yeah, and just imagine if the Warriors won against the Mavs, but then with that win, the Mavs moves up and bump down Phoenix. So it's going to be a crazy ending in the Western conference in the last 5-7 remaining games this season.

The wild Western Conference is amid unpredictable matches and it's best to consider that the number 6 and 9 teams are already in the playoffs but they still have unexpected outcomes in their remaining games. As we all see, the Lakers are not giving up easy games these days and they using their remaining games for a chance to climb further up they have a high chance to do that since they are all healthy and giving it all their best to secure their spot. I wonder how will it turn up if they win against all their remaining games and the others lose it somehow, this is a crucial phase now and everyone's eyes are on the West right now since the East is more likely already settled.
