It is also quite obvious that whoever ends up winning the series between Cavs or Magic, we are going to see them get destroyed by Celtics. Not only because Celtics is a great team and doing very well on playoffs lately, but also they are a much better team during regular season as well, plus they got a lot more rest, Celtics won their series long ago, and been resting all this period, and at home as well, their first two games would be at home and no travel.

Whereas, whoever ends up winning this series, will end up with a lot more games until the very recent period, be tired on first games, and will have to travel to Boston as well. All of which is a proof that it is easy to bet on Celtics to win, feels like easy money for sure.

Celtics got that home court advantage plus the fact that they are well rested and for sure they are reviewing games on both sides either Cavs or Magic they surely waiting and monitoring how the team is playing and what counter approach that they'll need to create to make sure that they just not have the home court advantage but also the system will works well as they will keep doing the drills to make sure that it will be executed correctly.

We just need to wait since  both Magic and Cavs are not surrendering and they manage to push the series to a final game 7, I like to see magic to advance just a personal pick since it's been so long, and hopefully this season might be good for them advancing to the next round.

I feel like the two best teams in the NBA right now are the Nuggets and the Timberwolves. They’re facing off in a few hours on TNT. It might only be the second round of the playoffs, but in my opinion it might as well be the NBA Finals. I believe whoever wins this series will become the NBA Champions and I think it could go either way.

New poll for Western Conference Finals. Don't forget to vote.

With the exception of the Cavs - Magic matchup which went to Game 7, the second round is set. The Dallas Mavericks beat the Los Angeles Clippers 4-2. Doncic and Kyrie step up. Let's see if they can keep it up against the Thunder.
The Timberwolves - Nuggets matchup is like a Western final. Edwards' biggest test will be against Jokic. The Celtics are the heavy favorites in the East, but all 3 teams in the West have a good chance.

I voted for the Nuggets vs Thunder in the finals. For me even though that the Thunder are a young team vs the experience of Irving and they have Luka, the Thunder for me is the more complete team, and it's only Kyrie and Luka who are doing the damage.

Thunder had SGA and then they have a good center in Chet plus other role players that fits perfectly in their system. But the series might be very close and OKC winning in 7 games hard and grueling series.

I beg to disagree, but I can see Dallas winning this one. OKC is a great team, yes, but still, I think they lack something that Dallas has: experience. Playoffs are a different atmosphere, and those two stars of the Mavs are great if it comes to playoffs, especially Luka, who really excels in playoffs and rarely chokes or poorly performs. With a new and formidable Mavericks team, they win this one. The last time the Mavericks entered the playoffs was in 2021-2022, and they reached the WCF that season. And what team did they beat? Suns. The first seed on West that time, and they manage to beat them in game 7, and who is Luka's best teammate that time? Jalen Brunson, a guard that can help him score, and what is Luka's best teammate right now? Kyrie Irving is a guard who can help him score. History will repeat itself, and I think that the Mavs will beat the OKC and enter the WCF once again.

And so the job tenure of a coach in NBA is short, even if you have successes, you are going to be fired like what happen to Griffin from the Bucks.

Not in all cases. Some team executives can blame and fire head coaches after the first failure, while others may keep the same coach for many years. A good example of this is Gregg Popovich, who has been the head coach of the Spurs for 27 years, Erik Spoelstra, who has been the coach of the Heat for 15 years, and Phil Jackson, who was the head coach of the Bulls and then the Lakers for many years.

If this is related to Darvin Hamm being fired as the head coach of the Lakers along with all his coaching staff, then I can just tell they deserve it.
I mean, they have not made any adjustments especially against the Nuggets. They played just the same way they played from last year. The only difference is that the Lakers displayed a good offense in the first half. In fact they always had the lead all throughout the series, but struggle to close out the game. The coaching staff has the most influence to it, so yeah, it is what it is.

I voted for Nuggets - Thunder too but in the west, things are quite complicated in my opinion. I wouldn't be too surprised if we see a different conference finals than Nuggets - Thunder. One thing is I am almost sure, we will see very hard series and it will not be easy for anyone. We might see game 7s. Even in both of the series. Nuggets is my favourite and they have playoff experience now but Timbervolwes are the upper commers this season with a superstar who the league might want to make him the new face of the league. Thunder are also favourite in the other series but Mavs might surprise a lot of people too. You never know with superstars like Doncic and Kyrie. One thing is for sure, I am extremely excited about the series in the west.

I honestly can't tell for either one of those series.  I can see any 4 team combination coming out of bmthese series in the west.  The east I think is a little more predictable, Boston is definitely wiping either the cavs or orlando.  The Knicks I think have the edge in that series.  Pacers can score but play zero defense and are terrible rebounding as a team.  Knicks are gonna feast on the boards this series.

Sorry bro but I beg to disagree. I agree with you that the Thunder is a good team but I've seen their games before when SGA was out, they are not the same team anymore. At least the Dallas Mavericks have two superstars that could carry the team, and they have an improved defense as well.

I just checked on the betting odds now, Dallas is slowly catching up although OKC is still a slight favorite than Dallas in winning the WCF, that's between the two only as there's Nuggets and Wolves at the 1 and 2 respectively.

Kyrie Irving. So Amazing!

1st half, focused on defense. Shut down Paul George and James Harden, and make it difficult for them to shoot. Kyrie only made 2 points there.
2nd half, focused on offense. 28 monster points. 5/9 in the three-point line and his speed is unstoppable.
That's what Luka needs. Someone to score whenever he is doubled and someone he could lean on in the defensive end too. Dallas Mavericks is strong.
Now, they will be up against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2nd round who play up-tempo with young players who are agile and strong. They will have to be more focused on the defensive end, especially against SGA and Jalen Williams. Those guys can score anywhere and Kyrie will have a lot of work to do.

They maintain their composure, even if the Clippers were able to come back in the first half after being down by a double digit, but they Mavericks had the big run in the 3rd quarter and from their, they were in control of the game already. Kyrie was the man, Luka not so on point in that game but with them playing great chemistry, even if one is struggling, they can still conquer their opponent.

So we are now waiting for the game 1 of OKC vs Dallas, it's official now.

What team do you think will win?
I am going for the Dallas Mavericks in that series. I think the veteran perspective of Kyrie Irving will affect the game most of the time. He badly wants a championship again and he showed it tonight against the Clippers. He doesn't care if he cannot score as long as he is effective in different ways. The 1st  half was all defense for him and the 2nd half is where he exploded. That just means respect is actually running to their team and they are unselfish. All players are ready to contribute and it doesn't matter if they cannot score. Another example is Derrick Jones Jr. who had been phenomenal defensively in this series against Paul George. He is not worrying about the offense because Luka and Kyrie can cover for that as long as he can stop PG13 first. That's why I said Mavs is strong this season because of they are not confused about their roles and those who plays great defense mostly wins.

What a bad day for the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell doing a lot of work together with Garland. They seem to be winnable before the half of the 4th quarter until that they don't have any other scorers.

Totally a messed up situation for the team, despite that scoring that Mitchell does. It's just ain't enough for the whole team when it's always like him that does all the scoring.

Strus is totally different on this game and I wonder if he's still with the Heat, what could have happened.
And Mitchell scoring more than half of the team, that's speak on how bad his team mates are in this game and we couldn't imagine him scoring 50 points and still lose the game. On the other hand, they were outscored in the 4th quarter and the Magic had a balance attack. Could be different if Strus or even Gabe Vincent could be still in Miami. Anyhow, this series seems to be predictable as the home court teams win. But still though, it's game 7 in Cleveland, do or die and it's hard to pick the winner as the Magic will give their all in this game to advance and it's been years since they have been in the second round if I'm not mistaken. Cavs the favorite right now at 1.61 against Orlando's 2.39. Kyrie and Luka' seems to be a perfect combination, now it's going to be Thunder vs Mavs. Game 1 will be May 8, Mavs slight underdog in the first game.

Cavs roster has decent stats. Mitchell score like that because he made most of the Field Goal Attempt while the rest of the team just relying on him and Garland to score. This is same with classic Westbrook before which his teammates leave the field goal to a single player.

You can see on Orlando that they have a balance field goal attempt despite they have low field goal made percentage. This is the reason why Cavs lose because Mitchell teammates doesn’t have much chance to shoot the ball.

But still though, if you score more than half of the team, your team mates are bad, Lol. He is taking more shots because no one wanted to take the shots except Garland. And coming in the 4th quarter and they have a chance to win, his team mates suddenly disappear.

Tomorrow Nuggets vs Wolves, I will go with the Nuggets here, Wolves are still very young and they could be shock on how good the defending champion. But it could be very different in game 2 as they will adjust.

That's part of the game, the Magic are also trying their best not to get eliminated. However, despite this loss, the Cavaliers are still in advantage as they'll be hosting the last game of the series, the fans will certainly be into and will support them so there's no reason they can't win the game, unles Mitchell gets injured or will be in foul trouble since he is doing a lot of work carrying this team.

I think they should start trusting each other, though Mitchell is impressive in that game but it means nothing since they loss.
Yeah, the chant of the crowd really helps but it's always not the case for these playoffs. But that sure is an advantage if it's in the playoffs.

Mitchell's performance means nothing because they ended up losing but for him as an individual, that certainly going to make him qualify for better contracts.

Do or die for both teams.

But tomorrow another exciting match, the one and only first teams to qualify. Timberwolves and Nuggets, who are you guys in here? Still Nuggets?

They are eliminated anyway, so this championship team exited in the first round, again?

How about the Knicks vs Sixers, not the scenario I like to see, Knicks started strong and lead as high as 21. Also, Embiid going to the locker room, something wrong with him, I think he needs to be tough in a game like this, he can't afford not coming back when his team is down.

A win for the Indiana Pacers and it was all over for the Milwaukee Bucks in their last game the Bucks were really smooth without Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo and it was a convincing game for them but when Dame time decided to play it was all in ruins as he wants to carry the team in his back but what is happening was vice versa as it is a good team work with Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis Jr. making it rain heavy then a mix of Brook Lopez for defense Malik Beasley for countermeasures while Patrick Beverley is a good addition for the team play and additional support, but if Dame time would play it was all ruined play. While The Knicks VS Sixers was an interesting game and the New York Knicks have won it all leaving the Philadelphia 76ers on the back.

That's it, the Bucks are also eliminated from the playoffs. Six players scored in double figures for the Pacers, while four did for the Bucks. Maybe there would have been a Game 7 if Giannis were there. The Clippers might face the same fate since Kawhi is also out for Game 6. However, they still have a better chance compared to the Bucks, since PG and Harden are there, as long as Harden doesn't choke and helps PG.

For sure if Giannis was there and they let Damian Lillard sit this one I really think that Damian Lillard doesn't have coordination with the team but I really don't want to put it like that I think Damian Lillard still doesn't have experience with this team when it comes to playing in the playoffs, this is what I think about the Bucks but they already fell and will not commencing into the Semi's while congrats to the Pacers and the Knicks they will heading for a much challenging game ahead.
