Jimmy butler with the 14 points. He had only 12 shots which is not little but definitely not a lot, no threes made, just 2 free throws. He was obviously testing the water, he was just checking out the team and how they are playing and what his role will be etc.

Embiid played well again almost cracking the triple double this game, Reddick was on fire and had 22 points which is more than what is asked from him. The only trouble was Simmons but I am not sure if it was a fluke game or was it the Butler trade and less ball handling. If this Butler trade will put a limit to Simmons' ball handling and playmaking that it is not a great idea for them, I hope they will get him the ball more often, he is a ball dominant player.

Lakers won again btw, they are 4-0 on their last 4 games and I know it sounds crazy but I think Chandler has a lot to do with it. Bigs just destroyed Lakers but now they have at least have a big body down there.

Finally there are some troubles coming from warriors locker room. They have one of the most joyful and jolly friendship type of team in the NBA as far as I can remember. Back when Jordan won he was known to be a not so great teammate, even punched Steve Kerr once, when Kobe and Shaq won they started to hate each other, when Lebron won in Miami he was there as rental and left them.

Basically aside from Spurs almost all teams had something going on eventually. Warriors looked like they were all "friends" playing together. With this Kevin Durant versus Raymond green chatter going on and the warriors picking the Durant side on this fight, I think Draymond will leave soon when his contract is over. I am not making a big deal out of this but it clearly shows they won't give him the 44 million max he can get, it would be idiotic to offer him 44 million anyway and today showed they won't.

Oh we finally saw a crack as GSW and its not healthy. Green was suspended without pay and it looks like this will be put a strain on the relationship with the whole management as well. It could be coming from Durant because there have been speculation that KD will leave in a free agency this summer, which Green take it personally because we all know that he has something to do with KD leaving OKC and going to GSW. But since KD already got 2 rings with them, the team is thinking that we will be leaving. The problem now is that there's a possibility that the two might leave as well because of the issue. So its going to be interesting, specially once Curry is back.

It will be more interesting if Durant will leave the GSW, because we will see a balance team in the NBA.
The warriors made it without Durant but they do not have an easy journey that time, however the taste of victory is better than with Durant playing.

I do think it is the other way around.
It is way better to taste the win without people telling you are grabbing too many stars.

They are a better team to me before. It is just that injuries are eating them and that is why they pulled a star into their line up. Somehow it is only for a back up plan. The team consisting of the old players of GSW can make it happen again and if it does without Durant people will be looking up to them again. Without Green though, it will be a problem.

The Sixers lost to the Magic a while ago 111-106. My opinion is that even Butler is there, he doesn't know how the team really plays. Like the first games of Lebron in Lakers, they started in a consecutive losses because of lack of chemistry. Give some time for the Sixers.
The rough ride begin for the Sixers  Smiley. We can reasoned out that maybe it is the lack of chemistry and Butler needs to adjust to the Sixer's style of play. I had a different reason for the lose but it is unfair to Butler since it is only one game, give it some time and we will see.

Seems the percentage KD leaving GSW became higher because of that. Although GSW reach Finals twice in a row without him. Still a big loss, they are more solid with him in their side but GSW is still competitive. On the other hand KD has a lesser chance in getting a ring without in GSW but it seems ring isn't the one in his mind as he mention.

Maybe this is an off topic here because some teams are not been discussed here.

This is what I didn't expect. The Dallas Mavericks won against the Utah Jazz with a score of 118-68. A blowout win for the Mavs. So far this is the largest lead win this season. Anybody knows what happened to the Jazz?? I didnt watch the whole game Cheesy.

P.S. Phoenix Suns won too against the Spurs 116-96

The Pistons upsets the Raptors in their home because of a buzzer beater win. Coach Casey is very happy with his team Cheesy

Well, I can say the Sixers will not become a top caliber playoff team unless Simmons starts to shoot from mid and long range. I know he is a very talented player, but he cant just rely on pure penetration offensive mindset, his offensive strategy becomes very predictable. If he can shoot 3's and hit high percentage mid range jumpers, then the Sixers will be one of the scariest team with their current roster.
On the other hand, I guess Lebron haters would be a bit bitter now, since the Laker team are starting to gel together now lol.

,.. Looks like Kyle Lowry having a trouble in scoring on that game because he only had 4 points but good 11 dimes.

He really does have a quiet low average scoring this past games but have an impressive stats for assist per game.

And yeah, players does have an "off night" performance too.

Sixers specially with butler addition is much bigger contender. Celtics are amazing on defense but suck sooo much on offense so Sixers can be the deadliest team on the east if Butler doesn't become diva again.

Sixers is having a hard time dealing with the Boston Celtics. We all saw that during playoffs and on their first meetup this season they are outscored by 18 points. Now let's see if they can handled Celtics now next month for their 2nd meetup this season with a new wingman on their lineup.

Finally there are some troubles coming from warriors locker room....

Drama.... let's see the progress of this in the next few days... there are lots of rumors now on what will happened.

Raptors, no matter how much people see them as favorites are not really in the title contention in my eye. Sixers specially with butler addition is much bigger contender. I think its too early to say that they are not a title contender because their roster is better than the previous roster for me. With Kawhi and Lowry who are both good on defense, I think what lacks for them is the offensive part but I know that other players will do it.

Sixers?? I know that acquiring Butler on the team is a good move for them but lets see if they will blend to each other. They will have a game against Orlando tomorrow. Lets see how they will play with each other.

Yes. It is too very early to tell. Butler is yet to fit with the Sixers while Raptors may end up trading Kahwi if they cannot secure him a solid contract. Honestly, I like the Raptors. They're a good fit and they will improve more.

Lowry was never a scorer to begin with, he scored because there was really no one else then Derozan that could score on that team so he pulled the scoring load a bit to himself because of it.

Now that Derozan is gone but Kawhi and some other role players came in and made raptors a bit better, Lowry can go back to his passing and defensive ways. He is a defense first type of person and pass second so scoring was always his third option. When you have Kawhi on your team you use him to his max and try to keep him happy by giving him the ball as much as he wants so he doesn't leave you next year for Lakers.

Let's just see on how the season progress. With you telling that the raptors are not a title contender and that is your belief. Anyway, the season is still far from over and there would be a lot to happen. With kawhi on raptors will make it more deadly to other team.

I didn't expect that Toronto Raptors defeated by the New Orleans Pelicans on Raptors Homecourt last Monday night. Looks like Kyle Lowry having a trouble in scoring on that game because he only had 4 points but good 11 dimes.
Lucky I didnt bet on he Raptors because I have a bad feeling about it Cheesy.

Even Rondo is not on the Pelicans already, there are strong because of Davis, Holiday and some players. Their roster didnt change that much and take note they defeated Blazers last playoffs.

Lowry didnt score that much on that game. Siakam and Leonard had the highest scores. Hmmm maybe he is giving other players chance to score so he is just passing.

It looks like they are trying new plays. Just my opinion though.
Last time Kawhi was not playing and it gave them a good lead but something might have been sorted by the coach.
Maybe some "why ifs". Like what if Kawhi is out again for injuries which could go back anytime. I mean, they need new role players and it could not just be Kawhi and Lowry over and over again. Their plays will be easily read and defensive strategies will be used when their going for those repeated plays.

They need their second stringer to step up.

Nice point, but if you look at the previous games of Raptors where they won games, you will see that Lowry is scoring double digits.
I think if he have the skills to score then why not help the team in that sector, Kawhi is great but needs help from his teammates, good thing they have lots of good players who can step up.

Let's just say they have a bad night and they loss one game but you cannot still eliminate the fact that they are the number 1 team in the East right now.

They maybe are tired of winning, lol.
You cannot underestimate the New Orleans Pelicans because they are a good team with Davis, if you remember they beat the Rockets at home
also and Rockets are as good as the Raptors.

Well unexpected things happen all the time and i don't think the raptors are even thinking of a long undefeated streak. Upsets are a normal thing and it doesn't change anything anyways, the raptors will still probably be in the top 2 come the playoffs.
