This is what I'm talking, without Giannis Antetokounmpo Milwaukee Bucks can't win this kind of game like LeBron James that chance of winning is too low when these guys are out. Look what happened to Milwaukee Bucks for today's game. They played without Giannis Antetokounmpo and see the result of the game. Milwaukee Bucks 83 vs 103 Orlando Magic. Also, this is a homecourt advantage for Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks are relying heavily on Giannis that they forgot to help him. I think its like what Lebron is doing in Cavs last season but one game is not enough for them to say that they are not strong when Giannis doesn't play. They are still the best in the East and with the recent trade they got, they got stronger. More 3 pt shooters + a good defender on the paint. I think they will bounce back on their next game Smiley.

Giannis may have showed some dominance lately but the King is clearly better than him as he is the best in the business.
Lebron is 34 years old now and have proven himself many times, his first appearance in the NBA finals was year 2007 against the SAS spurs, and although they got swept during that time but reaching the NBA finals is already a great achievement at a young age.

Using my calculator, (2019 - 2007 = 12 years ago and Lebron is 34 so minus 12 =  22 years old, that's how young he is.
I hope my calculation is correct, please feel free to correct me if I misstated some facts.

Does anyone seen the brand new Clippers today? They rally from 28 points down to Boston Celtics and get a win: 123-112. Although Kyrie Irving got injured in the second quarter and that's what the Clippers needed as they rally through the 3rd and 4th quarter and outscored the Celtics. Good win for the Clippers and we do hope the Kyrie won't missed any games because of that injury.
There were many teams that rallied from behind to beat the favorites today.
Thunder came back from 20+ to beat harden even with 30 points his rockets couldnt put them away like they normally would
Another one is the league leader Millwaukee bucks losing so badly to the Orlando magic.
This one I didnt watch but saw Giannis on the bench and it looked like he played so I am guessing they had the same fate as the rockets and celtics on this day.
It's a very weird day for NBA today isn't it. I wasn't able to watch any games today as I was on another holiday work and didn't put bets online as well, so I must be lucky. Anyways, it's going to be a interesting read as to what happened today and as to why those teams are unable to put them away even if they have a big lead.

A great win for the Oklahoma Thunders.
Houston lead was 26 and they took that back by chipping on it little by little and some great runs when Harden is out.

PG13 with his 40+ points that forced the team to get a win. He aint rested well but he did come back because he want that win from the strong opponent.
How about Westbrook?
He tied Wilt Chamberlain for 9th consecutive triple doubles. Maybe he could break it the next game and I hope he does. He deserve it for being such a strong player for the whole cast of the Thunders.

It's alright, a loss is a loss  but they will still remain the best team in the East.
Losing 1 game is nothing especially when you best player is not playing, after a consecutive wins with double digit, he deserves some rest
since they are also in a back to back game if I'm not wrong.

I believe BUCKS will come back strong again, and Giannis will have his monster game after the rest.

That 2 loses in a row against the LA teams (Lakers and Clippers).
They were down in the first half especially in the first quarter but it's sad Kyrie got injured and the Clippers were able to make a major rally.
I guess the Boston Celtics are not playing tough now, I think they could done better if they will trade Kyrie and just play a better ball movement.

The Greek Freak mad again an amazing performance in the Bucks win against Mavericks. Antetokounmpo played like the real MVP of the team and his stats were very very impressive. I think that after Mirotic signing, the Bucks can now challenge the NBA title. After all this amazing performance that Giannis has done this season, he deserves a ring.

I agree. His name should be in the contention for this year's MVP. The scary part is that he is not even at his prime yet, but he has done so far that he could be a candidate for the MVP. I even read some article that even the great Dirk is impressed with Giannis transformation.

I'm sure they will be the top seed in the East, so it's going to be compelling how he is going to perform come playoff time.
He really needs his team to bring to the next level if he wanted to win a MVP. Yes, he is doing a lot for his team but the measurement of a true MVP is bring or helping his team win play-off and go to the finals. So we will see if he can do that this season before we can have his name in the discussions for future greatness.

For me, he's now the new Lebron James in the EAST. This man is better than Lebron James for me. Also, he is averaging 20+ ppg in three consecutive seasons. I won't be surprised if this man can have a ring as soon as possible and win an MVP multiple time like Lebron James.

I think Lebron is still better than him. He may be averaging good points in a season but we all know LBJ lead a lot of championships in the past and right now Giannis might not be able to do that. Right now I am just excited on the NBA allStar game as I've watched the picks last night. Lebron picking Dirk is still really funny to me right now.

Maybe because he is leading the team to reach the no 1 spot in the east and with his performance now, he is better than Lebron James.
However, in general, I don't agree, Lebron is not already as hungry as before, and Lebron alone can take his team to the playoffs and even the finals, while Giannnis needs some help of a veteran players to win, he is still young and still lack of technique, and we are to witness that on how
long their journey's gonna be during the playoffs.

I won't be surprised if this man can have a ring as soon as possible and win an MVP multiple time like Lebron James.

Plenty of time, I believe he will have that one day if he continues to work hard.

He needs to continue playing like this, He's a good contender for m as well,  they are dominating the east though the tough competitors like  raptors, sixers and celtics are still present and also have gunners that can also be deserving but this Bucks are making their own show to rise.

It's too early to conclude but Giannis and the rest of his teams will make their own story inside this league that's something to be watch for.

Anthony Davis got booed on his first game back. League apparently forced Pelicans to play him at least 25 minutes per game, I don't know how a league can force something like that. He wants to not play in that team, team learnt about that and they do not want to make him play and we got ourselves 25 minutes per game AD because league wants more viewers and the fact that AD not playing would make Pelicans not get too many viewers whereas keep playing him 25 minutes would result with more views so they force the team to play him. Why would it be their right to force such a rule if both sides agree on not playing. I hope AD will fake an injury like back spasm or something and sit out the whole year even tough he is healthy. Kinda like what Kawhi did on his last year with Spurs.

Well probably they should've bitten the last offer of the lakers with their young core plus rondo and beasley when they had the chance. Ad said he wanted to be traded anyways. Too greedy, the pels may have let slip a core that could go far in a year or two.
Agree, the Pels got too greedy on this one and it might backfire on them. As they said that they can't sit AD for the remainder of the season and they might improve their win-loss record that might compromise their chance of getting the top of the draft pick. I just don't know what the Pel's front office approach on this AD's trade request.

Ya, Pelicans should have taken the Lakers offer.  I doubt they will get anything close to that offer in the offseason.  Davis has made it clear he only wants to go to a few pre selected steams.

A lot of teams tank to get better draft picks but they do it sneakily buy resting players certain games.  The NBA can't really fine them because it is difficult to prove.

New Orleans has announced that Anthony Davis wouldn't sit the rest of the season, he'll keep playing.

We should add that if Pels were to sit him out without a reason, meaning injury, they were threatened by the league with 100k dollar fines per game.
They have also been threatened with losing draft picks, but this information is unconfirmed.

He played only 25 minutes last night. Honestly, I don't expect New Orleans to let him go for more minutes. I can see him not play in back to back games too ("load management").  Grin

New Orleans has announced that Anthony Davis wouldn't sit the rest of the season, he'll keep playing.

-snip-

Yesterday, they beat another good team which is the Boston Celtics so they really have the talent, people are just underestimating them.
People tend to underestimate them because they (me as well) see that their overall performance was poor compare to other teams. Although it is understandable because Lakers' roster mainly composed of young players, but still, you can't take it as an excuse. If you from the very beginning thst your team is lack of ace players then at least compensate especially in team chemistry.

Their win against Boston definitely gave them hope and composure to continue fighting but the question is how long they can maontain it? The palyoffs is approaching, they should now fix everything before it's too late.
