This tells that nothing is guaranteed in gambling, anything can happen, even the worst team could beat the best team, nothing new here mate. Just calm down, you'll get it right next time, we have games tomorrow, bounce back strong and be happy.  Grin

This also happened on our local board NBA prediction games and that's what makes it more exciting for them back then because the underdog teams will give lots of points to increase their ranks. But as for them, they don't spend money with it, it was just a pure fun and they sponsored real money prizes for the the top scorers. That's what makes it good and surely you will enjoy watching NBA games while playing the prediction games.

I know Joel Embiid had 70, and I know Doncic had 73, both of which are amazing achievements and that is definitely the greatest games in the recent times, not like they are that common neither, Doncic broke a record, he is tied 4th for most points.

However, even with all that in mind, I have to say I think Lebrons 36-20-12 statline at the age of 39 is just insane, that dude is nearing 40 and he has rebounded 20 times, which is already the most insane thing I can think of when a player rebounded that much, but also at the same time we are seeing him score 36 and have 12 dimes along that as well. Maybe I am just being a fan boy, and I like Lebron a lot, but that doesn't mean that we are going to discredit his amazing win, that was a wonderful game.

LeBron is great for sure and is one of the greatest athletes of all time. I’d put him up there with Bo Jackson as far as how dominant he is physically. I won’t say he played as impressive a game as Luka’s recent achievement, but you’re right that I don’t think there’s another human on the planet at age 39 who can do what LeBron can.
Lebron is a great example on how to be a discipline player, at his age, he can still play a lot of minutes and contribute. Though he wasn't as explosive as he was before when he was younger, but his impact to the team is still very big. I have no doubt that Lebron will get to play more seasons and will break hall of famers records as he goes on.

As of this season, the chance of the Lakers is quite slim but I would never count them out yet as they could play the play-in tournament and still get in the WCF finals just like last season. Once they are their, the real battle will be seen, it could be Lakers vs Clippers, or Lakers vs Nuggets (rematch), we don't know yet but it's possible.

It was a very entertaining game, and although the Warriors lose, you can see that the fans are very satisfied on what they are witnessing. Curry showed that he is still here as a superstar in the NBA, and he is clutch enough to sink a shot when it matters most. The spacing of the Warriors is good with Green playing, so maybe in the next few games we will see the Warriors bouncing back after this successive losses.

Lebron doesn't look old at all, he is a legend, playing 2 overtime with huge minutes and you can't even see on his face that he was already tired. Also, Davis is great, he is a tough one, I thought he will not come back anymore when he exited after a hard fall, but he came back and help his team like nothing happened to him. Also, we can commend the performance of D'lo, made 3 successive mistakes but made a 3 point shot that give them a go ahead score. overall the game is brilliant.

The NBA has been pleasing its fans lately, with epic games happening almost every day.
The Lakers-Warriors game was really exciting, especially the ending. I wonder if the Lakers management will still be willing to trade Russell after this game. After all, he performed well and made a few crucial shots in this game, thus showing that he can be useful to the team in games like this one.
If anything, this just increased the value for Russel. The Lakers can try to get an extra draft pick by trying to sell to other teams who were already interested that he is even better than they had hoped. All Star caliber player who would be beneficial on any roster.

Yeah, just like what I've always been saying. It's either 2 ways, the Lakers could keep him as he has been showing a consistent performance from the last 6 (or was that 7 games consecutive already?) or they could continue with the plan to trade DLo as he now have surely increased his trade value.
I think the Lakers are still eyeing for Dejounte Murray, I don't know what's holding for the trade to go through but I think the Hawks are demanding more than just DLo. Let's see what would be their initial reaction after the series of consistency on DLo game has been showing lately.
DLo and Dejounte can actually deliver the same contribution for the Lakers, only thing Dejounte posseses that the Lakers needed right now is his defense, it is superior than DLo's.

Fuck NBA. Fuck OKC.1st leg curse. Another day, another upset. First the Spurs destroyed the no.1 seed in the West Timberwolves yesterday and now the Pistons win against the Thunder with a score of 120-104. How many times have the Pistons won this season without Cade Cunningham compared to they win this season? This makes me feel that Cade Cunningham is the problem for the Pistons. The team is great without him. Yesterday he played against Wizards and they lose.

Damn! Lebron is just too awesome! I am not one of his biggest fans but he is truly amazing at his age.
I love how appreciative he is at that post-game interview. He will definitely be written as the GOAT of his era.

Double Overtime in San Francisco!
Two of the best veteran players in the league clashing with each other. Lebron James and Steph Curry.

Sadly, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins were both fouled out in the 2nd overtime and that takes out the fun because it crippled both offense and defense of the Warriors.
Lebron on the other hand knew that so he attacked the rim at the last overtime to get a foul and then he hit both freethrows to win the game.
Another showcase here is Jonathan Kuminga, he somehow made some good defensive plays against Lebron and he is proving his consistency on the offensive end.

Back-to-back 1-point close game loss for the Warriors. This must be frustrating for the team but I think they are playing great. Chemistry is there, Wiggins finally stepping up, Thompson seems to be back to his old self, Draymond also making great plays on both ends of the floor and their bench is doing fine too. It's just a matter of time before they win. Maybe after the All-Star.
One of the most astonishing things to me in this situation is that Steph Curry is also going to be 36 years old in couple of months. There were quite number of players who played at the ages of 35+ but these two, Lebron and Curry, don't show any sign of slowing down. That really amazes me. 48 minutes was also Lebron's career record. That is just crazy. I wonder if it is too much dreaming to think that Lebron might win another ring before his career is over(with some big trades and changes).

Is this the new meta currently in the NBA where players are trying to break their own records and having an all time high with their career performances?

Anyway, it's actually a good start when we've seen these career high records up to 70+ points. And we might see some breaking records where they could reach 80+ points and so on.

It's like always a show time when there's a player trying to go along with these records.

With the present NBA style where ball movement is more emphasize, we can only see few players getting 70+ in their games, and although Luka, Embiid have reach 70+ in their past games, I doubt they'll be able to break that this season. It's not a norm now and sometimes when a players scores a lot, it will ruined the chemistry of the team especially if he is doing that every game. It will become an individual build up instead of a team.

I even doubt that the record of Kobe which is 81 points will be broken anytime soon. We know Kobe loves to shot, he loves to carry his team but things have really change a lot not, teams value teamwork more than individual work.
Me, I am thinking that there will be more records going to be broken soon. It's kind of achieving when a team is supportive to their franchise players reaching these milestones.

And the highest is with Wilt and that's a lot of record highs for him but the top was 100 points. I won't be surprised if someone normally passes the record of Kobe.

But let's see on how long it is going to take for someone to break that.

Most fans will be hard-broken if they really decide to do that and to make things worse for them, if Russel does well in his next team and the Lakers fall and do not gonna make the playoffs, then that would be it for Lebron James, surely he will take all the blame because of their decision to let go a dedicated player who helps them to win some crucial game to stand on their ground and not get to the lowest spot in the Western Conference. They should not rush to make bad decisions and end up regretting it because, since their Championship last 2020, there hasn't been any chance for them to reach the NBA finals once more.

The potential fallout from such a decision would undoubtedly be tough for Lakers fans to bear. If Russell thrives elsewhere and the team faces challenges, the scrutiny on LeBron James might intensify. Rushed decisions, especially after their 2020 Championship, could indeed lead to regrets. Balancing short-term success with long-term planning is crucial, and Lakers management will need to navigate this situation carefully to sustain their competitive edge in the Western Conference.

Fuck guys i was not following so much this season, im more like start to see the games when the regular season is coming to an end and the playooffs are coming to us, but what the fuck was this week in term of goalscoring, two players with 70+ points, incredible, and in the case of Doncic damn, what a high percentage of fields goals.

I feel you! The goal-scoring this week has been absolutely insane, especially with two players hitting the 70+ point mark. Doncic's field goal percentage has been off the charts as well. It's the kind of performance that makes you wish you'd caught more of the regular season action. The playoffs are shaping up to be incredibly exciting with such stellar individual displays on the court.

That's true. As a Warriors fan, I was actually amazed at their performance, I didn't also feel that they lost that game because the entertaining factor was so damn great.
The only thing I had after watching the game was the "What if?".
What if Klay was not fouled out?
What if Podiemzki didn't shoot that three-pointer and waited for Curry to receive the ball? Because I think he rushed it, he came from the bench so he is cold.
What if Wiggins was also not fouled out? It could've been him against Lebron and maybe a clean defense could happen.
All of that is what's left of me but I am not unhappy about their loss. It's actually the other way around because I see they became a team again on their last few games. They just need one more push or keep this tempo and maybe they will win their next game.

But, the Warriors' next game will be up against the 76ers. Embiid didn't play today against the Nuggets but I seriously doubt he will miss that game against the Warriors. Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey also did not play but it was not an easy win for the Nuggets. The 76ers bench did show some good fight today.

Yeah I guess a lot of what ifs but that's every nba game to some degree.  That was a crazy game and think even know it ended in a loss, golden state needed a game like that to get some toughness to them.  In trs of next game embid will definitely be playing.  With the new rules in the NBA embid can only miss 6 more games and then he won't be eligible for any of the post season awards and ypu know he is aiming at those too

Lebron's strategic move to attack the rim and draw a foul in the last overtime showcases his veteran understanding of the game, ultimately securing the win for his team.
His initial defender got to close and he immediately recognized that. Do you remember that play he did in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers while he was a Heat? I think it was Paul George who made the same mistake and Lebron also took it to the basket with time almost expiring.

I think this must be more frustrating for Stephen Curry because he is trying really hard to carry his team through almost every match. He actually carried his team in this match as well. But the problem is that his opponent team played really well. At least the Lakers played as a team and that's where the warriors actually lost the match. Well actually in this match his team did support him a lot but the support had to be better and the support that was given by his team was not enough in the end.  Must have been heartbreaking for Stephen Curry, But it is what it is.

By the way, the Lakers made a very good comeback in the 4th quarter otherwise this would have not been possible for the lakers to actually win.

Check out this move from Wemby tonight!

https://x.com/worldwidewob/status/1751429360157143208

Pulling off a shammgod at nearly 7 and a half feet tall in an NBA game is crazy. I may have to admit that I’ve underestimated Wemby a bit. He’s definitely something we’ve never seen before. The defender did a good job sticking with him too.

Rudy Gobert really looks small for sure in that clip while Wemby is becoming more like Wemby the days in his school career, for sure Wembanyama is getting used in basketball for the NBA, for sure he got a rough start this season but for sure because of practice he will be one solid player for the San Antonio Spurs, in the future that is for sure,

Damn! Lebron is just too awesome! I am not one of his biggest fans but he is truly amazing at his age.
I love how appreciative he is at that post-game interview. He will definitely be written as the GOAT of his era.

It's encouraging to see Jonathan Kuminga making a positive impact, displaying both defensive prowess against Lebron and consistency on the offensive end. Despite back-to-back close game losses, the Warriors seem to have a strong foundation with improved chemistry, Wiggins stepping up, Thompson finding his form, and Draymond making notable contributions on both ends of the floor. The frustration of close losses might turn into victories soon, especially with their promising lineup. The post-All-Star period could indeed be a turning point for them.

That was one hell of a game and the superstars didn’t disappoint with Curry and LeBron leading their teams in scoring. Draymond Green had a funny moment after the call on his questionable foul on Davis then mocking those who wanted it reviewed. In the end LeBron won it at the free throw line which is a bit disappointing, but an amazing game.
