Too bad for the Warriors they can't win another game.

They fall to the Pacers at home because of their bad 3 point shooting, Warriors shot 29% only while the Pacers shot 42%, huge difference, and we know when the Warriors are struggling outside, they'll likely lose the game, and that's what happen. With that loss they are now 36-33 at number 10 which is followed by the hot streaking rockets with 34-35... they are now close to each other and I'm afraid the Warriors will fall and will miss the play-in.

By the way lakers won vs the Sixers, so they are safe now from dropping in ranking.

To be honest I am quite shocked about the win streak they are having right now, and without Alperen Sengun, their most efficient scorer as well. It's of course about the fact that they played some super weak teams as well, but they played bulls this time around and while Bulls is not great, they are not bottom of the league tanking team neither, so this win means more than any other in the streak.

I feel like they actually do have a chance to go to playoffs this way, if they keep up this production and how they are going, I think that they are going to be above warriors. It's cool to see this, ı just wonder how long they can keep it up, I do not think that they can just keep winning every game, eventually this streak will end.

Yes, I think everyone is really surprised with their winning streak specially that Sengun is down, I guess this is the very definition of players stepping up their games now because they know that their number 1 offensive player can't play. And then they have a good coach as well, who might have motivated them to really go above and beyond. I haven't check their next opponents, but if it is a great team, who knows, maybe their winning streak will end. But as this point, they proved that they are going to be a tough team to beat even at road. And even if they didn't make the playoff this season, for sure they will be back strong next year as they have build a good chemistry and blend it today.

Young and hungry.  I said it before but I honestly hope they get in.  I like to see what these younger players do in playoff situations.  They will be an issue in the playin games for someone.  They don't have experience but got.legs to make it hard on a game that's one and done.  NBA needs some new blood like Houston, okc, orlando, etc.

Also we need to give credit to their coach as well as mentioned, he was a former Celtics coach who bring them in the finals, they just fell short because of inexperience. But Ime was hired again after personal controversy and it's good to see him coaching a team that has the potential, not this season but in the next season to contend.

I do agree, we need fresh face now, OKC, Wolves, Magic are now doing that. And hopefully Houston will be the one next year as they look solid. And if Sengun will totally healed next season, and as they build their harmony.

I agree to your last statement,  even if they will not be able to move forward to the next round,  with the chemistries that they are establishing now will have a good impact to their next seasons campaign,  I think if they'll managed to keep each other and continue having that trust with each other,  considering that Sengun  is already healthy that's a good addition with super teams that can compete in the west side, though the rally for playin position still alive for the Rockets, they just need to keep winning and wait for either the Warriors or Lakers to do the opposite to take the place.

And the Rockets win streak continues.....

Though I don't expect too much they'll even make it to the play-in but they are just doing what they need to do. Ever since Sengun got injured it seems like Green's performance has been so consistent too, and he is leading the win in most of this win streak I guess.

I don't know.. but I have a feeling that we can't touch this Rockets ( bet against) now that they are on a big run. Warriors should be worried with what is happening as slowly the Rockets are inching close to them, we don't want to see a championship team unable to make it even in the play-in tournament, that's a confidence killer for Curry and the crew.

If Jalen Green is only this consistent every time he steps on the floor, rockets may be in the upper seed. We all know that Jalen has the skills to be the offensive guard that the Rockets want, but sometimes he chucks too many shots, resulting in him being inefficient. All he wants are highlights and to score. I hope he becomes mature next season so we can see the jump that we all want to see from him. Others are saying that he is a bust and the G-League program is a flop, so him making them wrong is the story we can see next season for the Rockets. Also, I like how Emeka Udoka is coaching this team; I hope he can translate to this team what he did in Boston.

Can the Houston Rockets join the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Timberwolves in the upper standings next season? Let's see.

Well, the Rockets have already won seven games in a row, which is unexpected. If they continue at this pace, they could take over either the Warriors or the Lakers in the standings. Obviously, it can only be possible if the Warriors or Lakers perform mediocrely in their remaining games.

It's really exciting to see which team gets the spot to play in the play-in tournament because the number of teams fighting to take over the spot are playing well in their last games. As of now, their games are more entertaining to watch than the top teams in both conferences since they have already secured their spot and now it is the last team to play in the playoffs moments. They're actually giving their best to push their chance to compete in the NBA playoffs this year, as most fans anticipated, I want to see the Houston Rockets getting their way into the NBA playoffs as well.

I think the Rockets getting to the playoffs is unlikely. Yes they are at the number 11, but with lack of experience they'll probably fall even if they get to the top 10..They have a good point guard but I'm not betting on this team to upset the proven teams that are struggling this season.  Let their win streak continue and see where it will take them, but in case they'll prove me wrong I would still be happy anyway, as long as the Warriors are in the play-in, I'll be fine.

Rockets with 7 wins in a row and GSW should be worry about their play-offs spot. This might also be the year where we won't have both LeBron and Curry to entertain us in play-offs and if that happens , it will be a sad year but the age is starting to show more and more on both of them.

Meanwhile , Wizards won a game with 6odds against Kings and to be honest , I think this is the first time I see Kuzma hitting more than 30 points  Grin Grin

Zion is probably just being too careful in the regular season that's why his numbers look in control. But once they are in the playoffs (which obviously they need Ingram) I'm sure Zion will give everything he got as it could be his first playoffs and he doesn't want his team to exit early now that he is fully healthy.

His transformation had really helped him to stay healthy, so it's safe to say that they had already found a way to prevent Zion from being an injury prone guy, and we know it was his weight issue, where some call he is overweight.

If this is the result of being careful -playing less effort just to maintain healthy, I guess he will have huge trouble on playoffs since most of the team in there is eager to win while the games is much harder compared to regular season. He needs to learn how to protect his own body while still playing a 100% effort for the team because his raw power is his asset and his team while distancing himself is just a waste of talent.

His body needs to adjust not only for brute force but also to absorb impact of contact without sustaining heavy injury. With his current body, It’s very hard for him to continuously play 100% until finals without having an injury. Ingram is badly needed to cover when he is slow playing after a hardcore game.

With just 11 games left, though they only have a very slim chances to make it to the play in but who knows. The GSW and the Lakers are seriously competing to maintain their spot for the play in, so that really makes a difficult task for Rockets to get into it.

Orlando Magic snapped Zion ang the Pelicans winning streak as the Magic win by huge margin in their homecourt. And another bad news is that Brandon Ingram suffers a injury and two team mates have to carry him out. I think he was holding his knees grimacing in pain in the court. No update yet on his injuries as they will have to perform an MRI scan to see the extend of the injuries and hopefully it is not that bad as we could have thought as the Pels are in the good position to make the playoff and we have seen Zion Williamson healthy this season.
Orlando Magic had been playing great in their recent games and I don't doubt that which is why I bet for them. I missed the game today but I definitely believe they can win that one.

Yeah, sad news for the Pelicans. They are on the 5th ranking and all they need is to keep winning a few more games and they will secure their spot for the playoffs. But, with this news of Brandon Ingram I and the Suns, Mavs, and Kings tailing them, they might lose their momentum and be dropped in the play-in tournament.
Here is what happened to Ingram.

https://x.com/BleacherReport/status/1770972857662652447?s=20
Left-knee hyperextension. This also happened to Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo before but his body is strong enough that it didn't take long before he came back. This will depend on the MRI and I am crossing my fingers that he is okay. I mean, New Orleans fans might be drooling to be in the playoffs again with a healthy Zion but this might affect the rankings.
13 games left, that's a lot if you ask me and their bench will need to step up their game if BI will take a good long rest.

This would ruin the chance of the Pelicans to be in the playoffs. We are witnessing the best Pelicans season so far as Zion was healthy and they are playing like a real playoff team. So let's hope that Ingram would be fine as they needs his mid range game that is very accurate. If he will be fine and would have to rest, then at least they still have a chance in the play-in in case their ranking will dop, and that would still make them not an easy team to beat.

Zion scored 20 in this game, now that Ingram will be out, hopefully he will increase his production and he will not also be injured.

I agree, and if I'm not mistaken, this is the first season that both are really healthy up to this time. And it reflects on their standing right now. Zion, Brandon and CJ are taking the lead. But s**t happens, there's no report yet of the MRI that they have taken. Hopefully as a basketball fans, it's not that serious and Ingram can get back in the playoffs to help the team.

And with this development, Zion will really need to step up his game, he will be the main offensive weapon, at least 30 points or more moving forward might help the team. And others as well will need to step up to cover what they are going to lose as far as points as Ingram is out.

Zion is probably just being too careful in the regular season that's why his numbers look in control. The thing with the Warriors is that they are not a road team, haven't check their schedule but if they are going to travel it might be hard for them to win, just saying.

Well then, the Warriors could really have some problems, as only one of their upcoming six games will be on their home court. By the way, it's worth noting that the opponents in these matches will not be easy. Likely, only the games vs. the Hornets and Spurs at the end of the match won't cause any difficulties for the Warriors.

It's not actually a problem since their stats says they are better on the road.

As you can see in here https://www.espn.ph/nba/standings.. Warriors currently have 36 wins, and these are the breakdown.

18-18 home record
18-14 road record, .. so what you have pointed as problems actually favors them.

Ya, the Warriors seem to have gotten over the road woes that plagued them a couple years ago with a horrible away record.  I actually think the Warriors are the most experienced team in the NBA right now, so it probably matters less to them than anyone else where they play.  They've seen it all in their run and while they might be at the end of their dynasty with heroes of the past coming off the bench now, they're still an extremely dangerous and experienced team that can beat anybody if they let their guard down.

Let's see what they can do tomorrow against the Pacers, they are hosting this team and currently -5 in the bookies. At this moment, it's like a playoff game ever game for the Warriors so personally I will not gonna bet against them, whether at home or on the road. Curry is back, and hopefully he'll get his rthym soon, and they'll be ready.. Every game is very important for them as the Rockets are also doing well, they can't fall down to the rank that would not qualify them in the play-in.

If there's a team that might drop if the Rockets will be included, that might be the Lakers as they recently loss Davis.

But with the latest news, it looks positive on Davis since he might be coming back soon.

Yeah, you have to appreciate what the Rockets is doing right now, they are fighting in every game and wanted to least catch the Warriors. And Green is really playing very good right now, several of his highlights are making it to the social media and they are gaining that momentum.

Definitely, Warriors should be worried as the Rockets is making a move against them. And if they don't win at least in their next 3 games and the Rockets still have that winning streak, they could be tie or Houston has a better record at the end of the post season.

They are putting up a good fight.
I though after losing Sengun they would give up on the season and try to tank a bit to maybe drop 1 more spot.
But they did the opposite, trying to fight for the play-in, that's nice.
Sure in their recent 7 game winning streak are 4 wins against garbage teams like the Blazers, Wizards 2x, Spurs but also nice wins against the Kings and the Cavs.
Let's see if this late push pays out. I don't see it happening because the Lakers and Warriors are still better, standing and playing wise.
