42 points lost!? to the so called captain of the west?? haha
What a shock to most. It was like watching road kill slowly dying on the side of the road.
They did pull out their offer for Anthony Davis earlier in the day.

The lakers chemistry must be horrible right now, half the players know they can end up being traded and Lebron already wants Luke Walton gone.  This doesn't surprise me, Lebron always calls the shots no matter what team he goes to.

It even made it look so bad with The King sitting all alone during the embarrassment last night.

This is so bad to see... I don't know what really happens in the dressing room but it is bad behavior from LeBron. I understand that he doesn't agree with Walton in some things but this shows disrespect and unprofessionalism. He is so influential and he can motivate his fellow players to improve their performance. And I am saying all these with huge respect to LeBron. I am a huge supporter of him. He should better move instead of acting like this.
The youtube video shows what actually happened with Rondo going to the bench then he grabbed some towels.
Picture is worth a thousand words but it is still funny even though it isnt what you think had happened. Cheesy

Who's gonna play well if your team is willing to trash you out, while this rumors trade are ongoing Lakers won't be the same team again, management
needs to work out as fans paying for enjoyment, they need to handle things from both players and the people who's paying them to bring good results,
if they continue to embarrass the fans, no more sales for sure.

I tried to google it but all of those articles and videos were outdated. One of the best crossovers and plays on the NBA history came from him together with Allen Iverson.
Even though I am not yet born when Carter and T-Mac are on its own primes I'm still amazed with their excellent performance during their times. One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think. On the other hand, T-Mac also got a good ball handling skills but for me Iverson was better because he can do acrobatic skills in the air unlike him Smiley.
Wow, imagine how long it was, when we are all been excite if which directions Iverson will go and how he will finish the attack, He played well
when he's still on its prime he lifted sixers to the final but sadly lost with the dominating Lakers, just  a glimpse of those old heroes who we idolized
after MJ announced his 2nd retirement.

But they did win game 1 that breaks the streak of Lakers that season. They're so dominating that time that they just stream roll everyone one without suffering any losses.

But then Iverson took over game 1 and surprises the Shaq and Kobe tandem. Anyways, they eventually lost that series and the start of Shaq-Kobe Lakers runs.

For everyone not yet born that time, you should look at how he breaks Tyron Lue (yes, who used to coach Lebron in Cleveland) ankle and then he steps over him, that was classic.

Carter as been known for those type of plays. He's like the skywalker during his prime and that's why many idolized him as he is. I don't want to compare Allen to T-Mac because for me they were both good players and highly skilled.

Wow, I must have been really old, Lol.
Not just you but also me though I can still see my age on the calendar.
I'm out in the calendar but I did not witness how good Carter during his prime, I'm not a big fan of NBA that time and I only knew them
in news but not really watching a lot. I just started watching NBA regularly like 8 years ago and I believe Carters best moments was with Toronto Raptors.

Yes he was so damn good at that time in Toronto. They never let him go until the tragic injury that made him what he is now.

It was Carter and McGrady at the spotlights while Kobe also is getting some good appreciation.
Mostly you will like to watch more of a Carter than a Kobe. High flying plays and dunks which are impossible to think of.
Now, it had been outside shooting which is more on the spotlight.
Yeah, he is really good player during his prime. He can go impossible dunks and also a slam dunk champion. I still remember buying Vince Carter jersey's back then. Tmac and Carter used to be team mates in Toronto but it was more of a Carter team though. But Carter outlived Tmac in NBA because Carter is still playing, although not that spectacular he still contributes through outside shooting.

Carter revolutionizes how dunks are to be perform, just look for your videos in the 2000 or 2001 slamdumk contest. Iverson cross over was sick back then, while T-mac is a monster scorer as well. He even has a record of sort for scoring 12 points or something against San Antonio is under 60 seconds, or something just look at youtube, I'm too lazy to search. hehehe

Regarding Lakers pursuit of Anthony Davis, they said enough is enough.

They’re out! Lakers stop Anthony Davis trade talks after ‘outrageous’ counter off from Pelicans

Quote
It appears the Los Angeles Lakers have had enough.

After the New Orleans Pelicans put forward a counter offer in order to deal Anthony Davis to Los Angeles, the Lakers have reportedly ‘pulled out’ of the trade negotiations.

Late Tuesday, ESPN reported on what the Pelicans wanted in exchange for Davis, and it included what was described as a ‘historic haul of picks’, which meant four first-round and second-round picks, along with the rest of the players and cap relief in the package the Lakers offered.

Apparently Lakers went all out on the Davis deal, last thing published was Lonzo, Rondo, Ingram, Kuzma+Lance+ 2 first round picks. That is as much as any team could afford to give, there is no better offer than this, if pelicans decide to reject this offer it means they just hate Lakers so much that they are willing to accept a worse offer. Even Celtics could at best offer Tatum and even tough Tatum is a great player he is not 5 good players and 2 picks, pelicans needs to be crazy to turn down this offer.

We really don't know if this offer is true but if it really is true than Lakers need a lot of players, like a lot. Its great they would get AD but they would have AD and Lebron as starting caliber player left on the team, maybe Mcgee as well, all KCP, Hart and Chandler can do is bring in bench minutes. They need to be really active this off-season.
There are several teams that want him and he put up a list of teams he would want to be traded to.

New york and Los angeles are two of them including the bucks which would make the twin towers of power if he matched up with the greek Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Even the Clippers for some reason.
Bucks has taken the no. 1 spot in the East so I think they would not ruin the current system.
Lakers is the best place for Davis to land, they need improvement and that what's Davis can bring to the team.

I bet Vince Carter would of won a championship if his cousin Tracy Mcgrady stayed in Toronto.  T-mac and VC were top 10 players in the early 2000s and would have been an unstoppable duo especially if they got a decent center on their team.
Good old days bro. I don't have any news about T-Mac onto this date but I've heard the rumors that he's been broke and lost a lot of money. Anyone has an idea on where's T-Mac nowadays?

Looks like Lebron is playing LeGM again, trying to get Luke Walton fired and demanding players to be traded.  I would be surprised if Anthony Davis doesn't end up on the Lakers, LBJ always gets his way.  Even if they do I still don't think they have a chance to make it to the NBA finals.

Any "legit" source/s that LeBron James is the one who demanding for players to be traded? Do you really think Magic Johnson, the current HEAD PRESIDENT of basketball operation and Lakers Legend will be controlled and influenced by LeBron? That kind of story is like another old story statement by some of sports articles websites around. Make sense.

a) Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade will be part of All-Star rosters. That was a special order by the commisioner itself. (Hope Vince Carter too Smiley )
You can't give that honor to everyone. No offense but Carter is not in the same league as Nowitzki. Maybe he could be considered equal to Wade but definitely not to Nowitzki.

Disagree. Vince Carter is not also in the same league and equal with Dwayne Wade. Anyways, My statement is just purely a "fan desired" thought so don't take it seriously. Smiley

But I will also bet Lakers games to win, because of game fixing. We don't know if Lebron will be buying games! Who knows if the commissioner himself will the one to pay!?

GG!  Cool
