Hayst! Bucks lost. That's life, I thought it's already the shining carpet for Giannis and the gang but they better try their luck next time.

Maybe spurs knocking off their head why they do let Kawhi left the team and said to themselves that if they weren't able to make such changes
then they might be the one on the playoffs or even on the finals but yet it isn't guaranteed though but I agree on your point that
there's really a different between top player and a great player and Kawhi do proves it.
It's not like that, when they decide to change roster or swap players, they don't recall things like this. I think the management is happy on where he is right now. Kawhi is one extraordinary player, I want to see him how he can handle himself against GSW on Friday.

If there is something to expect in the upcoming NBA Finals and that is believe in the Toronto Raptors having a chance to bring home the trophy.
They're already on the finals so we should expect that but the crowd will keep on shouting for the defending champs, since Bucks lost, I'll turn my side now to Raptors.

I think this just goes to show you that one big star can make so much differences. Demar derozan is a great player, he is an all-star and he is seen as one of the best players in our league. However kawhi is literally top 3 in the league right now, he is the best player with great offense and defense at the same time, nobody has better offense AND defense than him, just one of them could be better on other players. He is THAT good. So what happened? When spurs got demar they got eliminated by nuggets in first round with him and said bye bye to the playoffs. Look at Kawhi, dude managed to bring Raptors to finals in his first ever season after demar failed to do so in the past 4-5 years. Difference between "great player" and "top 3 player" is literally worlds apart.

If there is something to expect in the upcoming NBA Finals and that is believe in the Toronto Raptors having a chance to bring home the trophy. The came in the Eastern Conference Finals as underdogs against the Milwaukee Bucks but at the end Kawhi Leonard and the rest of the team prevailed Giannis and the Bucks. Raptors will be facing on a different level of competition though as they'll be facing a well decorated super team but based from what I see Kawhi wouldn't go home without a fight.

I'm predicting the Warriors will win in five games.  Durant should be back after game 1 if all goes well even though I think they can still win the series without KD.

Looks like the tv ratings were way down for the ECF without Lebron James. Lips sealed Lips sealed
It could also be happen in 4 games just like to what they did on the blazers. Team like GSW is uncomparable to.any team right now in the NBA. No NBA teams for now that could surpass the talents of the GSW as a team. Even their bench players are still too good. The GSW team with or without KD still has be best with Curry, Thompson, green, Igoudala and other strong bench players.

I just wonder what trainings they had done why they improve so much with that skills and talent in shooting.

And the Bucks are back again, they are in the lead tonight and let's hope they will not surrender the lead until the end of the game.
Raptors fans, please don't listen, I'm talking to the Bucks fans here, we are going to bounce back and win this series in game 7.  Grin

I'd have love to agree with you, but going by what happened in the 4th quarter of game 5, I'll just wait to see how this plays out, Bucks are indeed playing better tonight, If the can keep it at a double digit lead into the 4 quarter, then just maybe they'll steal this win despite being the road team too.

It seems like you are right, they are not winning in the 4th quarter and it seems like they already fold early tonight.

Of course I was damn right! I'm gutted by the Bucks performance!

They led by as much as 15 points just few minutes before the end of the third quarter, then there came  a 26 - 5 run for the Raptors, how in hell's name do you give chance to such a run and still hope to win a game ?

Congratulations to Raptors for the win, Its duly deserved! I however hope they'll give the Warriors a run for their money, Pun intended Grin
Much better competitions between this two conference champs, Raptors might have a good chance to win against the depending Champion than the bucks who's still young that's needed to workout with their system, Raptors which leaded by Leonard can make something that would surprise every fans who also watching this season finale.

I see a Dwight Howard in a making in the person of the Greek Freak Sad. Too much hype but failed to deliver the expectation. Yeah, you are right he has been exposed big time. He should improve his perimeter jumper and free throws as it the one killing them in the series against the Raptors.

With due respect to the Raptors fans out there, this series is short. Warriors 4-0 or 4-1 the most.

I also noticed the looks on Giannis changed when Kawhi dunked on him with 6 or 7 minutes or so. This is the steal that Lowry get and then waited for Leonard because he knows that Giannis is behind him. And then Kawhi put a left hand dunk on him and I saw it's over, Toronto 87, Bucks 79, his reaction has completely changed. And during that last 6 minutes, Giannis is a non-factor.

In the series, the Raptors successfully defended the paint area and we can see that Giannis has been exposed and that is the reason why they lose. Now they will face a different team who is excellent in the three point area and also excel in passing and their rotation is nonstop. Running here, running there running everywhere Cheesy. I'm thinking how the Raptors will defend the Warriors who easily swept the Blazers.

Any match ups for the 2 teams?? Cheesy

Wow, Giannis was really exposed big time in this series specially in the last 2 games. Where is he when the team needed him, specially when they had the chance in the last dying seconds? Match ups will be VanVleet/Lowry vs Klay/Step, and then Green vs Leonard. But as you have seen, GSW is unpredictable, unlike the Bucks wherein it was all Giannis. And Toronto was able to solved that in Game 3 and Bucks didn't adjust. But this time Warriors is different, and there are also a lot of bench players in rotation that will play 10 minutes and contribute.

For Bucks fans like me, it's so sad to see the team lost this way. I mean they have a 0-2 lead and blew it. Never adjusted their game and Giannis settled for just mid range to three point shot.

Anyway, this is a good lessons for the team specially Giannis, maybe he needs to improve like scoring when facing the basket. He seems to be intimidated when they're two or three players in front of him. And the team should at least give him some peak to be able to scape.

This thread seems to be quiet, only a few have replied since the lost.  Grin. Maybe there's a lot of Bucks fans here because of Giannis or are still in shocked. Sad
This is what i observed too when Giannis tends to drive to the basket where he do really stop and pass because he's hesitated not like other superstars
or even just other bench players that when they do drive even they are being blocked 2-3 opponents they do able to pass on.
Lots of hurried shots by Bucks that do impose on how good the defense of the raptors.First time for Toronto to make it through to the finals.Congratulations!

Everyone was counting out the Raptors when they went down 2-0 and many were even calling ofr a sweep. Smiley

Giannis really let his team down and this series showed why Kawhi is a much better player.  This will be Toronto's first finals appearance and even though they will likely get destroyed by Golden State they had a great season.

Most likely destroyed by the warriors? That what others think but if you look back on the history, when the warriors are facing kawhi they have a hard time winning and got lucky when he got injured. I think kawhi is the answer to defeat the whole warriors.

This is gonna be an easy win for GSW. Green will be on Kawhi's face all over the game. Bring on the mental and mind games on Green and there will be possible technicals on Kawhi.

I also thought it was easy for the Bucks to win against the Raptors, I mean majority of the gamblers thought since the Bucks are the heavy favorites but they prove us wrong, maybe let's give some respect to the Raptors as there is a reason why they only +1 in game 1.

Amazing performance from Leonard in these series. Even injured he managed to get Raptors to the finals.
I felt a little sad about Giannis, because he had an amazing season and he deserved more, but he is only 24 and he has a bright future.
This is just the start for him.

Kawhi needs to stay at the Raptors and they management should offer him a max contract, this is first time in the NBA finals if I'm not mistaken.

Kawhi has been offered more than the max contract. Business owners in Toronto are offering him free services. Its still up to him whether he stays or not. If they could win the NBA finals this year, Kawhi are most likely to stay in Toronto.

On the other hand, 4 straight losses in a series isnt a good sign for the Bucks.
Even if they will not win, the success they had now is already huge.
He deserved a higher max contract if that is possible, and Kawhi has a huge fan based in toronto so why would he look for another team.

Also, you can tell that his teammates have so much respect on him.
This guy is a true underrated superstar, he is the most clutch player in the NBA now.

Congratulations to all Toronto fans, it's a well deserved win for the team. First time to go to the finals with GSW. On the other hand, they hype around Bucks is gone, up 0-2, Giannis was exposed in this series. Raptors has the uncanny ability to get back in the game in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Similar to what GSW has done to Houston and Portland. So let's see who's going to be on top. It will not be a dull series as others may have point it out. Raptors will have a chance to upset the defending champs.
