I heard on a radio show this morning that using Martingale strategy for the NBA FINALS will not be a bad idea
They did the math and it makes sense to bet on the money line for GSW for each game if you think they will raise the trophy.
There are low odds for this team to repeat and good opportunity to earn some BTC.
Kevin Durant is surely out of game 1 of the finals. So, the Raptors have a good shot at winning the first game. It is going to be Raptor's home court too. I think Ill bet on Warriors to with the finals after game 1, if Raptors win the first game. The odds will be good and hopefully Durant is back for the 2nd game. Cousins is questionable for game 1. Imagine Cousins and Durant back in the lineup. GSW have been doing great without them. With them in the lineup, it is going to be crazy hard to beat them.

3. Kill the heart of the team. Steph. Do not let him score anything or maybe behind 20. The team tend to lose their will to win without Curry making some great shots.

Looks like Kevin Durant's absence will somehow solve the Raptors brainstorming about defense.

Surely, Kawhi will try to lock down Kevin Durant but since the latter is out, he may now take Curry. In my point of view, no way they will put Lowry to guard Curry but instead they will put him to Klay Thompson and rotation follows if necessary.

Kawhi would really take care with Curry because Durant isnt still there.Lets see on how he would make shots with Kawhi guarding.I agree that making great shots by Curry do
boost out overall teams performance but this isnt a one man show since theres still 4 left. lol

It is a bad joke actually.
It is almost like a sweep but just done on the 3rd game when they got their homecourt back. I dont know what the Bucks management will do but there is really something wrong with what happened.

Looks like Bucks choked this time lol.

During their last 2 games, they are playing good in the first to mid half phase but didn't able to maintained it til the end.

For the most seasoned NBA fans of this thread, how would the Raptors perform versus Golden State if the Raptors' role players step up to help Kawhi Leonard and consistently do it in every game? Do they have a chance to win the championship in 6 games?

Obviously, chances are always there no matter what team will Golden State Warriors face.

Most NBA enthusiast sees Raptors have an edge because of the performance they did in Conference Finals. Again, they defeat Bucks in 4 consecutive rows which is really surprising.

Back in the world of betting outside sports betting sites,  these upcoming finals will be different as I see there are lots of GSW hardcore bettors who are in doubt of giving plus advantages to Raptors compare to last year where they allowed +2 wins for Cavaliers.

I still believe GS will win with or without KD!

Let us see. While Steph has been playing exceptionally well while KD was out, he's been disappearing in the finals. If he does not show up again on the biggest stage and assuming KD will be out for the entire series, Raptors will take this.
One big asset won't play for the finals.

I think it would be challenging for them but they can still manage to have good plays. I like these tactical solutions..

I got some own tactics that I have been writing to finish off GSW.  Grin

1. Stop them before they can signal the play. Without it they are in difficult times to make an offensive move. Why? They lack the offense now. They just have Klay and Steph.
2. Do not let Draymond Green to penetrate the paint after a rebound. We have seen it before they finish Portland.
There is a strategy behind it and that connects to number 1.
3. Kill the heart of the team. Steph. Do not let him score anything or maybe behind 20. The team tend to lose their will to win without Curry making some great shots.
4. If a stop is made. Make sure perfection is done afterwards. They need every score they can get.
5. Drain Green's stamina. Make him defend Kawhi. Do not switch just for a better shot. Without Green they are having problems with their defense.
Better make him foul out.

Nobody really doubts the possibility of Raptors winning this series, it is not unlikely, there is a chance however we all know the reality of playoffs and warriors so we give them a small chance. Realistically speaking Kyle Lowry is not a bad defender, he is also very thick which means Lowry could bother Curry a lot and during screens there is great defenders on Curry no matter who guards him, kawhi can lock him down, Danny green could lock him down, Siakam is not bad, the only bad defender on curry could be Gasol and doubt that will happen frequently.

Klay is a great shooter but we are talking about Danny green that managed to guard anyone he faces so he is an amazing defender and could lock Klay down. Kawhi is so good he was the first person to keep Giannis to a low shooting night. Basically speaking they have great matchup against warriors but the deal is ALL DEFENDERS, and I mean ALL of them have to do this for a 7 game series without missing one night. That is unlikely and that's why warriors will win.
Lowry is not a bad defender but he can't withstand the speed of Steph Curry especially when the warriors play the screens but I'm 100% sure that Kawhi can lock down Steph but there are still 4 players out there.

As per the update of cbsssports Kevin Durant is out of game 1 so if Toronto could manage to win then I think the GSW management will let KD to play for game 2 but if the Warriors could still win game 1 without KD then Toronto is less likely to win the championship. DeMarcus Cousins injury status is questionable and I think he'll not play for the rest of the finals.

Yes, they definitely have a chance.

The only thing unfortunate thing about this series is that Raptors for most times during the series can't afford to have a little nap while playing against Warriors, Raptors need to be on their toes all through each game, else they might get to realize the game/series is no longer within their reach.
Didnt bbc reporter see the link to the game these two teamed played last year when it had to go into overtime for a decider and the raptors came out on top.
This wont we an easy series for the warriors because the raptors have improved since this faceoff where they just outplayed gsw with kevin durant shooting the lights out regardless. Although with out curry on the court but to me steph hasnt been his normal self in the last series not so accurate in the his three point game. Undecided

It's only game 1 that is confirmed he will not play, so possibly we can see him in the series.
However, if the Warriors will win in game 1, probably he will be given more time to rest, Warriors are 5-0 without him, that stats is very scary.

I believe that Warriors play better without Durant.
Curry takes more opportunities for 3 points and this guy hardly misses. They win without struggling to much as they score from the 3 point line and they don't need to reach the ball near the basket.

I agree with this tactics which are really well-observed which can really be based or forseen with their past games.Isolating or defending their scorers would be the
wisest move to be done but the question is on how long they would stand and do execute it properly knowing that GSW does adjust in terms of such potential problem been facing.
The thing here is that Warriors is versatile.if you isolate one or two of them, then the other 3 do compensate on whats lacking and thats what i do like with them.

Of course, every team facing GSW will have the chance, but it is slim. We all know that the Warriors is capable of doing, specially that Curry is really hot during the last 6 games and averaging 33 points if I'm not mistaken. And there are bench is already deep and there are a lot of players stepping up at the right moment. While Toronto is Kawhi plus a few players, so it is going to be tough for the Raptors.

But everything can be change specially when playing in the court I stil believe that Raptors can beat GSW this Nba finals just wait for the series end, I know a lot of people love to see GSW win this nba finals but I high believe in Raptors Kawhi and their team will gives GSW a bwst play.

But it's better if Him is going to play, Im a fans of GSW and I know for this year their will be the champion we have different teams for sure but I think the majority right now is the GSW. But they still have more supporters of the other team. So this year this game will be better compared to the last few years ago.  What ever the result of the game we need peace play sports.

This is a different team compared to the Bucks, they stopped Giannis their focal flow of offense, but not with the warriors, players on the floor are role players, they can score and defend at a high level, especially now that they are more inspired since their production is better with Durant off court.

The Splash Brothers remembered the old days with the pals that they've got in their back, Green, Iggy , livingston and Bogut, while the young generations are also contributing, the plays are so lovely to watch, balls rotate so well without KD, they are playing as a team and not just relying with Him to score, the entire squad is playing great.

If both teams that will compete this finals will showed the same level of games that they've got back in semis and quarter finals, we will surely enjoyed how mental toughness of each team plays will be executed, Not just Splash bro's and Kawhai and Lowry, but the competitions between the whole squads.

We will certainly see a team's competition here, the Raptors also played well as a team, they trust their bench and their bench contributed.
Same scenario with the Warriors, they are also trusting their bench but Warriors just have a deep rotation so even if one player is down, they are still a dangerous team. People are speculating now, and I have friends who wants to bet with me but we all like the Warriors, so not bet has happened.
