Russell Westbrook made up his game and they avenge their loses by dominating the Mavericks at home.
After a poor shooting in their previous game, Westrbrook come out hot with a tripple double tonight (32pts, 11 ast, 11 reb).
He is monster tonight, he proved that they are way better than the Mavericks especially at home, big congrats to him and to the backers.

Rondo wasn't really that much of a big name in this Lakers team to be honest, putting his name with Lebron looks a bit weird.
Yes, he is a mentor and he is one of the smartest players to play in this game but his talents are lacking compared to his mind, if his body would do things his mind is capable of than he would have been the greatest PG or at least in top 5.
Please don't forget Lance on the list. lol. We don't know what Rondo is doing off the court though. Maybe he really is a mentor and giving valuable tips to the young Lakers.

On the other hand Lakers already lost to teams like clippers and kings without Lebron and that shows that Lakers still lacks a lot without proper players, young players are still good enough for tanking and probably won't make it to playoffs even if they tried.

Hence. this win against Kings which is arguably one of the worst teams in the league, Kings is improving but nowhere near the level Lakers want to be so if Lakers want to be great they really need to squeeze in that little time Lebron has (probably another 1 or 2 seasons) and get him some help.
A W is still a W. Again, this is a young Lakers team, and I'm sure that the management is having a short and long term plan with or without James.

Lakers won even without Lebron and Rondo against a rookie team that is getting stronger.

Hart worked hard and also the youngsters of LA. Lebron had fun watching them on the sidelines.
Ingram donated a lot with some good stats in assist and rebounds.

Congratulations to them getting another win before the year end.
That team effort really give them a good competitive game against the kings, hart played well together with Ingram and the rest of the team, maybe this adjustment coming from Luke Walton really bring them to have a good blend, looking forward to keep seeing them enjoying and have a great run even without Lebron and Rondo, those young bloods really creating for the team making them competitive and not a Lebron center team.

Yes, it was hard work that really won the game for them. Ingram exploded and help the team to recover so it was a total team effort. Even the veterans McGee and Chandler contributed on the rebounding department. Seems the Kings can't sustain their good shooting in the first half and of course Lakers tighten up their defense in the 4th quarter.

That's good for them, playing at home really gives them the advantage.
LA will be huge next year, with Lebron back, I think we will see more winning games of this team.

Lebron just make this young team into a great team, Kudos to him.

Lots of technicals. Lillard got so hot that he questioned the refs decision. He should have calmed down and not let it come to that moment. It is just a 9 point lead which could be taken care of in 2 minutes but because of those freethrows it grew to an 11 point lead which is already a hard task to be taken care of.

Curry still cold in my opinion. Thompson also cold at the paint and a missed dunk. But he got really hot on 3 point line.

Combination of defense and a little offense made them win. But they need more. That is not the Warriors that I knew.
At least they prevented a 3 game losing streak and get their revenge win. Yes, Curry and Klay might be cold but they have built a good lead that's why Portland was having a hard time and when it was about as close as they can get, Lilard got the technicals.  Next is Phoenix, I'd say its a easy game for GSW but let's see if Suns can pull a New Year's eve surprise.

The warriors again facing the Portland Blazers, this time they are the road team, this is a revenge for the warriors.
So, I'll likely gonna take them now, regardless of the line, I think they will not allow to lose again tonight, otherwise, they'll be on the 3 losing streak.

Line looks so tempting, it could be a trap, but who cares, what I just put in mind is that they have to win tonight.

Looks like you are correct. Right now they have built a commanding lead going into the 3rd quarter. I didn't put any bets cause I'm done gambling for this year. Although Portland was fighting hard and was able to trim the lead to a single digit, the Warriors was able to put early basket. So let's see, it's not over yet, might be another OT for all we know.
Congrats on those who bet on the warriors, game was simply dominated by the warriors, that's what you called easily money.

Rockets had a very rocky start as well as Lakers and both teams look like they are on the path of playoff match ups.

One of them will eventually face against warriors before they face each other but if Denver keeps this up there is a high chance Lakers and rockets face at semi finals as well.

Rockets started to be better after Melo left (well he technical didn't "leave" he is still there, just not playing) but I doubt it was about that really, just because of one player you can't be THAT bad, but they are much better right now thanks to Harden giving a real effort on offense instead of just chucking up shots, they have a much better offensive strategy. Boston changed a lot as well, they were great defensively from the early one but their offense was horrible, miserable.

Now that they picked that up they look like the Boston people expected from the early season. It is really a great time to be an NBA fan, Warriors-Lakers-Rockets-Sixers-Raptors-Celtics all have a shot at the title and that's really exciting.

This is not about Lebron making Lakers better, of course whichever team he is on will be better but this is just a way of showing it is not his talents that makes a team better, its also his bringing everyone best that makes teams better.

Exactly. The team is still very young and they needed a leadership that Lebron can bring to the Lakers. He can only carry them to a certain point, but all players also needed to bring their A game as well so that they can win games with or without Lebron playing.

No matter what team Lebron is, he can't carry the team if the team is not doing as hard as he can. Let's just say that most the players can't keep up to the level of Lebron showing on every game. There is something that lacking on a team if they aren't getting better over time, we all know that teamwork is very crucial to make the game works until the end.

Well there is, but its on the past when he's still on the Miami Heat where Lebron together with Wade and Bosh and considered as the Big three. The team is working well. I remember those days of Dallas and Miami was an Epic playoffs

Another game by Lakers without Lebron, another loss by the young team. I mean they are still quite young and I know they are getting better and better each year and some of those players are just on their sophomore year but they look so much better when Lebron is playing whereas they are not really anywhere close without him.

I was thinking maybe this Lebron injury would give them a chance to show how much they improved over the course of this season thanks to playing with Lebron but it just an example of how much Lebron impacts his teammates, when he is playing he just makes everyone around him so much better, players start to play worse when he is not around.

This is not about Lebron making Lakers better, of course whichever team he is on will be better but this is just a way of showing it is not his talents that makes a team better, its also his bringing everyone best that makes teams better.

I wasn't able to watch the game live, I just checked some hi lights in YT and it's a very close game. It seems that Portland will win but Durant hit clutch three to send the game in OT. And when everyone expect the Warriors to win because they have a 5 point lead down to a minute or two. And still they have the edge in the dying seconds, Lilard hit's a three. Durant though posted a triple double as a consolation.

I saw the highlights too and it seems to be a good fight.
But lookingg at the stats almost every star in each team are off night.
They have that when they are no in a good condition to play. The ball wont just go in even if the throw looks better.

Looking at the Western Conference status, the more appealing games to me by now is those who at the 6th up to 10th spot. They are all still fighting for the number 8th spot but it will be a long season and anything can happen.

That last close shot by KD, guess the is really for blazers that's so close and a wide open range for KD, let see what would be the result of their rematch if curry and the rest of GSW will win this as they already have a back to back losses inside their home crowd, blazers have a good impressive stats and already got twice snatch overtime winnings.
