Those two players (James and Curry) are the best in this era so it's good to see them compete and fight for the championship.
Durant is already best player of the warriors team as he always win the Finals MVP award, curry can have an off night but Durant is always on the rescue.
Although there's a lot of team improving this year, but come playoffs GSW elevated their game one level so it's hard not to see them in the finals again. Rockets and Spurs are not doing good in the West and I don't think that they will be a threat to GSW at this point.
Warriors does that all the time, they always improve in the playoffs, in fact if we still remember, they beat the Rockets at home in the west finals.
Meanwhile, talking about the Rockets and the Spurs, these two teams are a championship caliber team, they may struggle early this season but I believe they have the capacity to improve in the long run, or comes playoffs time.

Warriors indeed comeback from the dead when they beat the rockets last season but it is because cp3 is injured. Also, don't forget they choke in the 3-1 lead last 2016 season. So it is not that they are unbeatable, it's only a matter of composure in the playoffs.

Watching Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors is like watching a preview of the western conference finals. Golden State Warriors is still ahead in the standings before Los Angeles Lakers, but its still too early to say that either of this two teams will be in the conference finals but I hope this 2 will again meet.
Yup! But I admit that Lakers did a great performace despite of the home court advantage of Warriors. Props to Rondo and Zubac, they also did a great job Smiley

Anyway, aren't you bored to watch again Lebron and Steph in the finals? I don't know if I'm the only one who felt this but I mean this rivalry is always competing for the trophy, there's nothing new — it doesn't excites me anymore Roll Eyes. I got now more interest to Rockets v.s. Spurs in the west and Boston v.s. Milwaukee in the east

An off night for the Golden State Warriors, even shots that are so free do not go in. Foul trouble also became a problem and Green was fouled out.

Glad to see that even without Lebron at the second half the Lakers can sustain the lead and even more.
Rondo have been the key players to make good plays and also Zubac donated a lot.

Now when McGee is back, Luke Walton must find a way to use this 3 centers which are all good.
They camnot get cold on the bench and must given minutes to play.

Confirmed, Lakers won the game, what a game, Lakers, dominating the Warriors? First time.
Waaah. Thanks for spoiling, I'm about to post here if someone is watching it. Haha we've got a late telecast and I'm just watching the first quarter on its 4 minutes (20-20).

I don't even want to use google just to check the score but after reading this confirmation, I lost my excitement haha.

PS: I just woke up.

Congrats, yellow boiz!

Lol. It makes its more exciting to watch knowing that the game was won by Lakers already so no comeback from GSW this time.
I shouldn't check this thread for the update, I'm even the one who's exciting to inform everyone and ask if they are watching the game. Well, the other thing has happened. No longer excited so I have to end watching the game, the result is just more exciting to know rather than the game itself.

Expect that there will be a lot of memes on the web about this win from Lakers. Those who are doubting and making fun of Lebron, you see the guy proving himself whether he is or not on Lakers.

@Distinctin - you can't really take away the doubt because Lebron has so many haters, but yes a playoff spot is likely to happen for James first year with the Yellow (or Gold) and Purple uniform.

Looks like the Lakers are gonna win against the warriors, they are up with a double digit lead now.
Thanks to Zubac, their newly found weapon, whose currently having some solid game now with a double digit score already, I think this guy will have a double double tonight.

Rooting for the Lakers to win, it would be exciting.
Yes indeed, this young center are making things happen even without the King, Rondo facilitating the ball and his doing it really well, still have enough time for GSW under 6 mins, but  if Lakers will continue playing a solid blends surely they will win this,  a perfect combinations which is happening just now, the entire squad are taking it's own designated role. good luck to you.

I think it's a win for Lakers indeed. One of the most anticipated match but the Lakers did take it to the Warriors and this win is a moral boosting for the whole Lakers. And they're slowly improving and they are giving signals to the West that they are a team to reckon this season.

With how the game ended, I'm sure the Warriors are gonna make their revenge next time.

You people still doubt on the Lakers? Please stop it, they dominated the depending champ and they showed they have a shot in the playoffs.

I am really shocked at denver keeping the first seed for so long. I mean I expect some mediocre team to get to first seed for a while at early season but it has been over 30+ games already and they are still at first seed. Orlando Magic was the first seed at east for a while last year for example and we know how they ended up at the end of the season. Its marvelous and a miracle that Denver has been going so strong for so long. I wasn't really expecting them there at Christmas time.

I wonder if they could make it to the playoffs at first seed and if they do what would happen at playoffs as well. I mean I think they do not have what it takes to make it to finals at all and I think Warriors/Lakers/Rockets/ even spurs all have better shot than they do but I also thought they would be dropping to somewhere between 5 and 8 by this time so I could totally be wrong about that one too.

You may be overwhelmed by the superteams and forget that Denver has now talented young players and guided by the veterans. Now they got the top seed and you still could not believe about their achievements. I will not be shocked if Denver will remain to the top1 when the playoffs starts but I will still doubt if they can maintain their a-game during that time.

He is like the Derrick Rose of bulls when DRose was still a Rookie.
Luka showed again why he was the youngest euroleague MVP.
This guy is gonna become successful and will be one of the big names in the NBA in the future.
I hope he'll take care of himself because injuries can kill a carrier, he is still young, he will face more challenges but he will definitely have a bright future with the way he plays now. A player is called great if he can deliver in crunch time and Luka has done that many times.

BTW, what are your thoughts on the Lakers vs Warriors game this Christmas, anyone here has the balls to take Lakers at Moneyline?

Luka showed again why he was the youngest euroleague MVP. Dude really carries the Dallas team almost by himself, he definitely gets help from his teammates and I worry that his teammates will start to pass to him less and less because he is getting the praise and they are thrown in with the other useless players like they do nothing but to be honest they really do not provide that much to the table. Dallas has improved a lot from last year and yeah they had DJ and all that but if you ask me %50 of this improvement is thanks to Luka all by himself, dude really balls like he is 30 years old. The system euroleague has with young teams and players playing in euroleague type of games at even 16 years old and all that really improves the players mental attributes, NBA players are by far more athletic and all that but euroleague players develop mentally much faster.

That is one hell of a correct statement.
Is is really different out there than what they are doing with the NBA. I guess it depends on their funds.
Since EUROleague is not much seen on National television they cannot create good advertisement to pay up for their players and good trainors.
So what do they do?
They improve themselves into whatever possible equipment they can get. Their brain is the best one and you could see it in Luka.
He doesnt shake on crucial moments and remains calm. He is a star already even for a rookie. Now this guy is going to improve physically in NBA.

Spurs are going really weird, so far in their past 6 games they have managed to go 5-1 and on their 5 victories they had over 25+ point difference
They are improving and that makes them dangerous to every opponent.
It's consistency, but they will be tested tonight playing on the road against one of the best team in the NBA, which is the Rockets.
If they will remain hot and we believe it's gonna happen, the best thing to do is to bet with them to beat the Rockets.

Nah, the Rockets had a bad start this year and I dont consider them as " one of the best" in the league this year. I more surprised and impressed with how the Nuggets improved this year.
On the other hand,  the Spurs is a consistent playoff continder with coach Pop as the head coach. Not a surprise for the Spurs to come out from a bad start. Coach Pop has always had a plan to gel his players together.

Yes, the Rockets turn into just "another team" this year as compare to be one of the best. And that's why other teams have step up including the Denver Nuggets. As for the Spurs, I'm sure that they can make another play offs run again but it's going to be difficult to even go to the second round.
