We will see a game 7 in this series. I would like to see Embiid healthy so it's an even match.

This will be a Houston advantage. Most of the points of the warriors came from some warriors cutting to the basket. Because of KD's stat hanging at 34 PPG 5 boards and 5 assists during this playoffs. Having a guy like that could make many defense player go to him to challenge his shot. That's why whenever KD is holding the ball, he can drag 2 to 3 defenders and pass to a cutting player. However, I think the dubs could still win if they can manage to change their strategy because of a loss star. They even managed to win after the third quarter when KD was injured. So, I believe that they can do that.
The odds for game 6 may favor the Houston Rockets but i think not an advantage. The Warriors are a totally different team without KD in the line-up and they have win championship without him also. The Warriors may now use Livingston (mini-KD) more to fill the gap points wise.

Now that KD is out for the rest of the series against the rockets, how are the warriors adjust with the gap that KD has left. Does curry still has those killer instinct that made him a superstar? Or how can Houston capitalize the advantage they have in terms of manpower. All this question will be answered in game 6 between the Houston rockets and the Golden State warriors.

Actually it could be a good thing.
I am smiling now because I am now looking forward to see the old GSW team.

The passing. The Splash Brothers moments. The Green to Iggy alley oop and vice versa.
Those are the moments that I missed when I watch a GSW game.
We can only see those rarely because they are relying too much with KD who can do post ups and also isolation games when they cannot get another higher percentage shot.

Now Klay can go hot again and so is Curry. GSW will be relying on them to run the offense while the others will focus on defense.
We will be seeing Curry again running below the rim back and forth with screens. Cannot wait for Game 6 without Durant.

I agree, and I think Thompson and Curry will step up again, knowing that KD can't play the next game. This is also a test for Golden State on how good the team are.

I think they will go out and finished the series next game without KD. Their team chemistry will be tested but I'm sure they will go and pass it with flying colors. Iggy and Green are also doing good in this series and so are the rest of their second unit.
We would able to witness these things possibly on next game. This would typically shows if they would able to cope it up but as a playoffs champs then theres no doubt on that one.

Hope Curry wont tend to make some dunks once again.  Grin For bucks and Celtics game they do close it with 4-1. Just waiting up for the winner of 76ers and raptors.Finals is approaching and that would really be
very interesting.

I think they will still keep up with the rockets, before Kevin Durant was their main scoring option Steph Curry was the guy who can make tons of shots on a daily basis and I think Steph Curry really wants this role now since Steve Kerr doesn't really have a lot of options now with only Klay Thompson and Curry to be the main threat in the offense. Houston Rockets won't be afraid to utilize this though and Harden without Durant guarding him in the low post he will be more confident on driving layups in the lane.

The BUCKS looked like a dominate force and now have a chance to compete with the West since KD might not return.
The Golden State Warriors are now plus-money (+120) to win the NBA championship following the Kevin Durant injury.
They were in the -200 to -250 range for most of the season and -110 before Game 5.

Bucks managed to win the series so quickly that I am not sure if this will be better for them or worse. Now on one hand we have bucks team who will relax and catch their breath a bit before going to eastern conference finals, there could be some time to recover which would definitely help them a lot.

However, at the same time if the other series take too long they may recover "too much" which is a thing because if you play games you are always hot and you are always ready but when you give too long of a break you are not ready and the first game could be thrown away because of that rusty period.

Sixers and Toronto games are much more valuable now, they know who they are going to face and they can even start making their tactics on what to do when they face bucks but I am not sure which one will be going to conference finals. I really hoped Sixers would win the series to show how much tanking could help a team but I also want raptors to win because they literally sent their franchise player to get Kawhi and make one big run.

Celtics are done for the series.

They only manage to win 1 game and loss the last 4 games, bucks are looking good, they might be the champ this year and Giannis will have a great accomplishment. Imagine if this guy will have its first championship this year, and at the same time he will be the MVP and finals MVP.
Such accomplishments during just for 1 season. This would be the greatest season for Giannis Antetokounmpo for now. Take note, this is not his final season in the NBA he's just a 24 year old guy and have lots to prove and to improve.

Antetokoumpo was outplayed in the first game but managed to read the Celtics game that was played on him and he overcome it.
He has a bright future and hopefully he is going to be the next best player in the NBA when Lebron James retire. Fear the Dear and the Greek Freak.

It's now official that Kevin Durant won't play on Game 6 which is an obvious thing to expect.

Is there really a problem? We all know that the offensive power of Golden State Warriors is truly amazing even without Durant. Therefore they can surely fill the gaps which I considered as "there is really no gaps".

What's missing here? The return of Steph Curry. So unusual to see him like that. But now he knows that no KD to assist them, he will surely know what to do.

For Houston Rockets, I don't think they will put KD's absence as an advantage. They know Golden State Warriors more than us. Since it's a do-or-die for them next game, they will push it aggressively and I will not be surprised if they will able to take Game 6.

Its gonna be a tough game 6 for sure, Curry and the rest of the team still the same with or without KD they've made themselves as superteam, but it will be now be measured if how good they are without the help of KD, series will test once again between the coaches and how they will take the challenge.

I'm seriously doubting the Raptors ability to beat the Bucks though, would love someone to convince me otherwise!  Wink

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Don't talk about the Raptors vs Bucks series yet, we still have game 6 tomorrow and Embiid is healthy again.
This will reach into game 7, but honestly IMO, whichever team wins could not compete with the Bucks performance.
If Celtics only got 1 win, I think Bucks can sweep their next opponent.

Bigs of Bucks (Giannis, Mirotic, and Lopez) is hard to contain.

Dont underestimate Leonard and the Raptors this year.
Leonard offensive stats were averaging 38ppg on 62% shooting in this series. Remember, Raptor's big men were also a notable players ( Gasol, Ibaka, and Siakam). Kyle Lowry and Eric Bledsoe are both explosive point guard. IMO, Raptors vs. Bucks is a more entertaining match up.
On the other hand, the Celtics were underperforming throughout the series, most specially Hayward. He only averaged 7.4ppg.  and the Bucks are also outstanding this year. Enough reason for 4 straight wins against the Celtics.

It will be hard for the Warriors to win on the road without Durant.
AFAIK, Curry and Thompson is not 100% yet and Durant was their best scorer, Rockets will bounce back and will force a game 7.
They we're able to pull a win today so maybe KD being sidelined will have a small impact but not enough for Houston to win the next 2 games.
Curry and the whole Warriors roster will be test in Game 6. We know already that KD played a big role in this playoffs especially against the Clippers. Now that KD is injured, we will see if they can really defeat the Rockets without him. If they can win without him. If they are worthy to get the three peat without him. They will be test in the succeeding games.

On the other hand, Bucks ended their series against the Celtics and got the win. My suggestion is the Celtics just trade Irving. If you will watch how he plays in this series, he played awful with around 30% FG and around 25% only from threes and he is not a very good defender. My suggestion only.

I dont think KD will be back until the Finals. That is an injury when no one expects. There is nothing below his foot when he dropped it.
It might be a bad injury. They still say nothing but just sprain. Let us see for more reports about this.
Good thing Klay is now working but Steph is still not on his best nights. 2 consecutive games with his low percentage of shootiing. He might want to consider just scoring in the paint which he really can do.
Help should come in this GSW team for more offense.

Congratulations to the Bucks, as I thought it became the other way around.
I am just in deep thoughts by now. Their new additions are superstars who came from injuries but yet what happened.
We might be seeing a big time change in their roster next season.

I'm so damn pleased to see the Raptors take the lead in the series after yesterday's spanking of the sixers. Even Drake being there couldn't hold the Raptors back  Grin

What a game too! Leonard, Siakam, and Lowry were on fire. They just looked on a completely different level to some of their recent weak performances.

That's not to say that the sixers can't be blamed, their defence looked abysmal and they finished second in nearly every major stat at the end of the game.
