Playoffs aren't coming so soon, so there might be a lot of changes that could happen, like a big news that would change the a good's team line up, for example, Durant leaving the warriors, that's a big news and I like that so they will not be super team anymore.

That won't happen this season. Remember that he signed a 2-year deal with the Warriors and his player option will only have to take effect next season where he can choose to stay or find another team he wants to.

Warriors current core players are intact until the end of the season so expect that lineup on playoffs.

The next year trade rumors will be exciting and surely full of surprises.

Watching Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors is like watching a preview of the western conference finals. Golden State Warriors is still ahead in the standings before Los Angeles Lakers, but its still too early to say that either of this two teams will be in the conference finals but I hope this 2 will again meet.
Yup! But I admit that Lakers did a great performace despite of the home court advantage of Warriors. Props to Rondo and Zubac, they also did a great job Smiley

Anyway, aren't you bored to watch again Lebron and Steph in the finals? I don't know if I'm the only one who felt this but I mean this rivalry is always competing for the trophy, there's nothing new — it doesn't excites me anymore Roll Eyes. I got now more interest to Rockets v.s. Spurs in the west and Boston v.s. Milwaukee in the east
Nah I'm not, I was not bored to see Michael Jordan in finals back in the 90's with the Chicago Bulls capturing the Championship 6 times in 10 years. Same with Kobe Bryant with the Los Angeles Lakers back in the early 2000's. I love to see how they adjust as a team player and as an individual. I love to see them improve their skills.
You know what I don't like to see in the finals again? I don't want Lebron and the Warriors again, but I like Lebron to be in the Finals against any team in the west, probably the Rockets, so we can also give Harden a chance to play with the King, MVP vs MVP, isn't that exciting?

Why is it that nobody's talking about the game today?
Finally the Dallas Mavericks were able to break their losing streak today, and although it's a close fight but they were able to snatch a win
against Davis and his squad.

On the other hand, seems like the Spurs are for real with their improvement, they beat the no. 1 team of which eventually bring them to the no. 8 spot.
Spurs showed some improvement today, with Derozan, Aldridge and Belinelli combo they beat the number one seater from the west, I love seeing Derozan taking the team on his shoulders and really playing with good blend, this league really have a lots of surprises and we can't tell who's team will be there at the second round,  maybe Spurs are now back on track being a good contender again.
The problem with Spurs is that they are very inconsistent and I don't know if the team has a bad chemistry or they are trying to hard to win a game. I don't know if we can consider them back in track though, they really need to win a couple of games because they are sitting in the 8 position overall in the West and it's going to be hard if they didn't pick up prior to the all-star break.

If Lakers manage to grab someone like AD and put someone like Kawhi or at least someone at that caliber (which is very difficult since there is literally very little amount of people at that level) they will definitely get the ring next year.

I mean Durant is up for grabs next year and I am 99% sure he will continue playing at warriors but they are really hurting for cash now, they do have this new stadium that will potentially bring more and more money in the future but since they are paying insane amounts on contracts plus the taxes for it they can't really afford Durant for a long time, even if they afford Durant it will be hard to keep Curry and even if they do that than one of Klay or dray has to go.

It means eventually warriors will not be warriors next year and that means they will have to let someone go and Lakers will be picking up players whereas warriors losing players and that makes this match up a lot more entertaining next year. Warriors will definitely try to win this year because its three peat season plus they may break up so its their last chance to be as dominant as they are right now.

Very close fight and the lead just keeps on going back and forth. It didnt go way high and that is what makes it more exciting. Love watching games like that.

Luka almost got a triple double again. Watching him play makes you focus on what will happen.
How about the last plays of the Pelicans? Why let Davis take those threes? Why not give it to a better percentage player?

He did it once or twice but that doesnt mean he should keep on doing it. I dont like those last plays, or is it really their coach's play?

It's good to hear though that the injury suffered by Lebron is not that bad after although he was listed as day-to-day with groin injury. I agree though that Golden State has a off-night as they're missing shots that Curry or Durant has been hitting all day long. But it's a good win for the Lakers and all around performance after Lebron have to sit after he hyper extended that left groin.
Let's see if the Lakers can still have a win without Lebron.
If they'll make a good record then maybe we have to applause this team for playing with team work.
I'm afraid that they will be like the Cavaliers performance without Lebron James playing with them.

Since the injury is not so serious, I believe they'll still be in the top 8 spot even though they'll stop winning.
If lakers will manage to play the same type of chemistry  against the warriors, and the blend and dedications of each players inside the court will continue, even without Lebron they will be able to win, rondo is always a playmaker as he can deal with pressures, he just needed some backup coming from kuzma and the rest of the team, maybe we are now seeing the true potential of this squad after defeating the champ on its own court.

Not only Rondo can be a playmaker, he can also be the experience the veteran that can guide this young Lakers when Lebron is out or not playing. I really like that kid, Kuzma, more than Lonzo right now. Kuzma and Lebron really have a good chemistry, more than any other young players in that roster. Lakers is already 4th in the Western Conference just a few games behind GSW, Nuggets and OKC.

Warriors are the champ, they will eventually adjust and every game, the Lakers are facing different teams which brings different type of players on the floor. Lebron is not just an ordinary player of the Lakers, he is the main man who can easily bring a triple double in a game, so it's a big loss for the team if he cannot play.

The Lakers playing without their star player is just like the old Lakers who struggles.

Well the lakers seem to be getting the hitch of winning now. That's one thing lebron brought to this young team whether we admit it or not. And they're likely bound for the playoffs even if james doesn't play for a couple of more games. They're still well stacked than many of the teams in the league.

Anyway, aren't you bored to watch again Lebron and Steph in the finals? Did you realize that Steph and Lebron both in the Western Conference division now? So, that means its impossible for them to compete for the NBA Finals. Unless if you mean the Western Conference Finals (WCF).
And one more thing, did you also even realized the match up you mentioned are also competing for the trophy?  So, that means, the doesnt excites you as well? Lmao just saying, coz I dont really get your point.
In ALL sports competition, all participating team are aiming to win the trophy. So, I guess no sports would ever excites you anymore?

I don't think that's possible Lebron is with the Lakers and its in the Western Conference divisions. Best thing they can do is to match each other in the WCF if the seedings were right for them.

What is new about that? Every season that happens teams are competing each other to get to the top spot in order for their team to receive the trophy as well as the rings they all desire. It is their ultimate goal to earn as many rings they can in order to be one of the undisputed all time greats in the game.

Confirmed, Lakers won the game, what a game, Lakers, dominating the Warriors? First time.
With how the game ended, I'm sure the Warriors are gonna make their revenge next time.

You people still doubt on the Lakers? Please stop it, they dominated the depending champ and they showed they have a shot in the playoffs.
Its a bit disappointed for me that they lost in their home but that's basketball and sometimes the unexpected can happen.

The ball is round. The Lakers lost to the Wizards who is a low seeded team and they won against the top seeded team. For sure, many gamblers got lost on this game Cheesy.
I'm one of those gamblers who did loss on that bet where I do believe that Lakers can easily handle out Wizards but look at what happen. The outcome is the opposite one.

You are right the ball is round not only on basketball but also in all sorts of sports. No doubt that Lakers team do really have a shot on upcoming playoffs.

And the Lakers hype is buzzing all around the sports world. That was blowout loss for the Golden State Warriors but for me nothing really special. But no doubt, I was really surprised especially the adjustments made by the whole Lakers team after the half. Although at some point, they showed a "quiet" poor defense that's why the Warriors able to narrow down the lead by 2.

We saw a glimpse of Playoffs Rondo. Really missed that.
We saw a glimpse of Zubac piece. Almost perfect on field goals thanks to the dish. He should maintain that performance level at any cost.

Warriors is definitely on off-night mode. Curry 5/17 fg & KD 5/13 fg etc. they really struggle. So unusual to saw that kind of stats with the complete lineup and playing at the Oracle.

What a game for Lakers! They definitely won't be beating warriors on playoffs this easily but I think with a game like this I definitely can see them grabbing some wins from Warriors if they face each other. They are certainly not amazing right now and definitely doesn't look like they are getting the ring but considering what type of horrible team Lebron has played with in the past years and still managed to bring that Cavs team to finals I think there wouldn't be a shock if he could gear up a bit more and finally figure out a way to beat them or at least push them to 7 games which could potentially risk Warriors ring by both tiring them and giving them more chances to get injured as well.

I soooo want Lakers to beat Warriors to finally destroy their run, they have been too amazing and everyone in NBA world hates Lakers and hates Warriors right now so it would be so confusing for all the haters Cheesy.
