So it's now confirmed who will the Los Angeles Lakers give up for Trevor Ariza's deal. It's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
But unfortunately, as of the latest trade updates, the trade is now failed. The reason? Phoenix Suns want a piece of another Lakers youngsters (Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart) on which the latter refused.
I wondered now if KCP will still give his 100% to the Lakers now that he knows the team is willing to take part ways to him.
I think it's not about giving your 100% but we know they are professionals so they should play the way they play as long as there are on that team no matter what the circumstances are.
Literally you are right, yes.
But somehow there is an "inside stuff" wherein a certain player will not be comfortable now in a team due to a certain reasons. There are common examples here. Well anyways, let's see what's next for the Lakers knowing that we already know who will be on their trading list if they take up another deal.
Philadelphia Sixers is also part of that supposed trade deal and they will part ways with Markelle Fultz. Sixers is now busy enhancing their lineup.
I guess it would be great if the sixers will retain Fultz in their line up for he is young and athletic. Having Embeed and the prince, I guess they will need a point guard which could run the play for them. If they do trade Fultz then they might be looking for some veteran guard or a more on playmaking point guard rather than a scoring one.
