History made for Stephen Curry that he passes Ray Allen For the Most Made 3's in NBA Playoff History. Playoff on activated by Curry!  Grin
I saw their game with the Clippers, I see that their form is now back. Kevin Durant getting techs and powerful drives. Curry's 3 pointers all the way. Thompson's more catch and shoot. Draymond as powerful stretch. Boogie getting tilted but still perform pretty well. Yep, ready for 3peat.
They are more dangerous now because curry is leading them.
Last playoff was I think Kevin Durant is leading, that's why he also won the Finals MVP award.
Curry is so healthy now and they are letting him shoot, his percentage has improve, I can smell a sweep on this series.

It was expected though, Curry could also ended up to break Ray Allen's all time record in the next couple of years assuming that he didn't get injured or something. San Antonio's win also put coach Popovich to get past Lenny Wilkens for most total wins in regular season + playoffs, so another milestone for coach Popovich.

Magic also beat Toronto 104-101 and and Nets stunned Philly 111-102 to also steal game 1. As everyone has pointed out, this playoff is really a tough call as evident of road team stealing game 1.

Lol. Whatever issues they may be having, they'e still the top team in the west and would likely go on to the 2nd round pretty easily. 2nd round though may very well determine who the western champs will be since they'll likely go up against the rockets.
The current playoff bracket now does not allow the a repeat of the last year's western finals.
Most likely we will see the GSW vs the Rockets in the 2nd round, and probably OKC vs GSW in the western finals, or maybe spurs.
Sorry, I just don't see the DEN having a chance to advance in the western finals.
Spurs snatch the game 1 against Denver in front of their home crowd, they tried to hold on and keep playing hard, but seems that the team still young
for this playoffs series and against the veteran coach it's really a tough road for denver to survive this, now it's a Spurs favor after winning the first game, though we still have a lots of games left and adjustment can be done from now, Denver needs to workout not to allow Spurs leading them in entire game  and tried to chased it.
Experience will prevail in the playoffs, it's been a while since the Nuggets played in the playoffs, so I guess they'll need to learn from this experience again. The coaching staff of spurs is good enough to design a play that will let them win, game 1 is very important in every team as that would give them some momentum going to the series.

Congratulations to the spurs, it was a well played game although Nuggets rally.

That is not new to Lebron James, he loves kicking out coaches so his favorite coach will replace, the only attempt that he has no success was kicking coach Erik Spoelstra, and because he did not succeed, he go back to cleveland to kick Blatt.

Aaaaaand Luke Walton is gone too. It has been talked that Tylue could be the next coach of Lakers but I doubt that is true, I think Lebron told his friends to make that a news so it would go around and Jeannie buss would hear about it and maybe even consider it.

Considering Magic stepped down and there is no one that replaced him yet it would be idiotic to hire a coach right now, you hire your managers first and if you have a good front office let them do the work afterwards. They require a basketball operations guy that will give them 365 7/24 instead of someone like Magic who would be just face of the organization, afterwards they need a new coach that has a system already built in that would help Lebron thrive on his last years.

He only has few years left in him, at max he can play 5 or 6 more years even if he doesn't get injured at all and with that in mind it would be insane to throw away his last years with another Kyri-Lebron-Tylue type of deal, that already happened, lets move beyond that now.

I don't actually blame Magic or Luke for the Lakers's performance this season. It's actually the team not actually Magic or Luke themselves. I actually like Luke as a coach, not strict but when it is gametime, it's gametime. And Magic as a manager, he'll do what's best for the team. But I guess that the way of Magic being a manager is a way of MJ as a manager also. He thinks that he's doing the right thing well in fact, it's leading to the destruction of the team. As MJ puts Brown as a top pick in a draft.

Ok since it's playoff time already, and Lakers is not on the mix, Departures of Luke Walton and Magic Johnson leave Lakers aimless. So I guess everyone should have seen this, as Lakers after acquiring Lebron James this season failed to reach the playoffs. So there's another rebuilding and I hope that this time, they will get the pieces together.

The playoffs is in the air, I participated in the prediction pool and I predicted that the only match that will have a sweep as a result
will be the GSW vs the Clippers. I don't know if they can stand with the Warriors, Clippers does not have many scorers unlike the GSW, if they can stop Lou Williams, it will be over, in the inside also, GSW has bigger bigs that will stop their bigs. I don't see they have a chance to at least get 1 win.
Base on what I have looked at with different predictions, you guys are saying the same thing. I commend Los Angeles Clippers for making their way to the playoffs but the crowd is really in favor of Golden State Warriors. They have the bigger chance to make it for the upcoming rounds. And I'm about to tell the same thing that this can be a potential sweep, GSW all the way.
Now that we are all talking about the sweep, I hope we are all right.
It's kinda different when it comes to NBA, sometimes when most of us expect it to happen, something will happen.
I still remember the games in the past where I thought it would give a certain team an easy win, like the Cavaliers vs the Raptors series in the East finals before, but the Raptors which is the underdog gave the cavaliers I fight, I remember it ended in 6 games.
Don't worry about it, everyone is just speculating here and as a fan, we want our favorite team to take that moment. And with their stats and performance, no doubt that they can eventually do what we're speculating about them. If ever they won't take a sweep, it's also okay and it means that LAC proved themselves that we're wrong with what we are speculating. I can't wait for the match between these two, another match that I'm getting excited is with Milwaukee Bucks.

Really rooting for Milwaukee Bucks this season.

They might be able to have that match against their bracket and in the finals. In west, I don't think GSW will be able to win now. Not just because I am not a fan anymore but because they are also having internal issues with the team. I saw Giannis as a great player ever since last season and I guess it is the best time to support him.
From the east, Giannis still needed to surpass Raptors, Sixers and Celtics, those teams are also waiting for their respective time to be at the finals, knowing how they can adjust since it's already the playoffs and all the team will surely reviews their lapses and how they can adjust to improve and advance to the next rounds, it will again test Giannis capabilities to move forward and prove himself.

It's going to be a big test for Giannis indeed.

The team you mentioned is very tough to overcome that's why if Giannis goes to the finals it will be a big accomplished already. They are the top seed, no doubt, but when play off comes, teams always put their game one notch so it will be a difficult road for team. So let's see if Giannis will not choke and show everyone why he is the future face of the NBA.

He is not the choker type of a player.
Besides, he got Middleton and Bledsoe on his side. Add up the three point ahooting of Lopez now which had been very high since his addition to the Bucks.

Their coach looks like he got his cards for all the strong team in the East. But first they must focus on their first round.
His rivalry with Griffin will be tested. Both have buffed body that could penetrate and also their center Drummond is a beast.

I think Giannis and his teamates already knew this, Playoffs is where their opponents will play their best and they should be ready, not only Giannis but also his team and his coach. I think Giannis will not choke here, I am not a fan of Milwaukee but I like how Giannis is playing right now. I am rooting for Denver Nuggets.

In west, I don't think GSW will be able to win now. Not just because I am not a fan anymore but because they are also having internal issues with the team.
They are professional players and whatever differences or internal issues they have, they will set that aside and talk about it on the off-season. Kevin Durant and Green are two players that want badly to win and this time they can make a history of a 3-peat that only few teams achieved. This will be their motivation going into the playoffs.

Usually professional athletes put their difference aside and focus on the goal at hand, which is to win championship again.

So I don't question Durant and Green at this point, this is playoffs and they are chasing a 3-peat which is very hard to do right now in the NBA. If they win, then they can talk all they want, if KD will leave then so be it. But as this point, KD could won another finals MVP and then another righ, enough for him to be really motivated.
There performance in every game will dictate their future in the NBA, so they will always play hard and play their best to ensure
they will have a good future. They are professional although they are in sport, they are still playing for the main purpose of getting paid well.
If the warriors will get a 3-peat this season, they will not only earn money as a reward, but the reputation as well.
