The NBA is really starting to suffer from lack of competition.  The Warriors are coasting every year to the Finals and this isn't going to change for the next few years.  At least the Eastern conference doesn't havfe Lebron anymore so we won't be seeing the same team from the East.
At some points, I agree with you but take note that this always happen even in the very start of the NBA. Remember the Celtics at around 80's I think when Bird is playing and the Bulls when Jordan, Pippen and Rodman are playing. They dominate the NBA especially when the Celtics won 8 straight NBA championship at around 60's if I remember correctly.

The 60's were a completely different era because there were only 8 NBA teams.  Your right though, the NBA has always been dominated by dynasties.  The Chicago Bulls could of won 8 straight NBA titles in the 90's if Michael Jordan didn't retire.

You are really an NBA fan because you still remember the old days.
The East actually does not give excitement already because all eyes are in the Lakers, Warriors, and the Rockets, these teams are the best in NBA now.

Lol. Taking lebrom from the eastern conference further tipped the balance in the nba. The celtics, which probably is the best team in the east, would probably go only so far as the conference semi finals if  they're placed in the west. Not complaining though. I don't mind focusing on the excitement in the western conference.

Can anyone give accurate details about Kawhi Leonard's stay to Spurs?

I've heard that he got a max offer of $221 Million by the team. I'm looking for some facts online but it seems that most of them are confusing.

Too many reports and some aren't so accurate.

Lack of Competetion is not something new for NBA because Superteams have been out there since the 60’s when the Celtics at that time dominated the league as they got mostt of the top 15 players in the league in their squad after that Lakers and Celtics both had ridiculously stacked teams in the 80’s maybe we can say they competeted with each other but the final was the same every year in that periode also Michael Jordan played with 2 other hall of famers in the 90’s. Anyways  as long as everyone is working amongst the system in place and it appears you don’t even have a solution for the perceived problem. Players have always wanted to be playing in winning teams and that will never change and this has always been an issue, only now social media has given fans a platform to bdiscuss about it more.

I don't know who will come from east but Celtics has been a decent team and great in development young players. I believe they will be even better this year with hayward and kryie joining the team which can give warriors their money's worth even tho warriors is still likely to win.

On the other hand the rockets can actually give warriors a trouble. CP3 is a injury prone player and has been inconsistent but whenever cp3-harden-capela is on the floor the warriors had trouble more than any other game they played.

I feel like 2 tough match ups will tire them down as well. Remember cousins is out for most of the year and they will probably just coast the regular season but in the end its about who they will face. Lebrons lakers and rockets and than celtics (maybe throw okc somewhere in there) would mean warriors would probably be tired beyond measure. They are likely winners of this season as well and incredibly talented but its basketball and we will never know who will end up winners in the end.

This guy is good but he still needs to develop himself to become an all around player.
Even if they have a chance to be in the playoffs but the same squad, I don't think they can beat the Celtics, I believe Celtics will be the east champs.
I agree that this guy needs more training so that he'll be able to gain more strength and experience as well. He might not be one of the chosen and most considered player on their conference but we'll see this kid becomes one of the biggest star in the making.

With all those happenings at the West, East conference seems kinda left out. Most likely the best teams are concentrated on the West and because of that East seems a way less interesting. Well, Top3 at the East are definitely Celtics, 76ers and Raptors. I am not sure who would be able to fight for Top3 with them. Wizards are looking pretty interesting though... I think they will end in first 5.

That is just top 3 of the season and it is different when it comed to the playoffs.
Cleveland fought Indiana at 4-3 while Raptors was swept.
It depends on how hard they will play on the playoffs and rankings wont matter anymore.

They might be preparing for the fight against the West but they will need to finish the East first.
I will vouch for 76ers and Indiana this time although when Irving and Hayward is back it will also be a strong Celtics.

Toronto? They played like beginners although they have fought with Cavs last time. They even benched DeRozan which is questionable.
They are happy now because Lebron left the East, there will be great competition among teams as the cavaliers will no longer dominate them.
I think the move of Lebron is nice to face bigger challenge in the West, this guy is consistently going into the Finals and it would be a big task for him now that he is in the west.

It will be better if he can get the WCF.
That way it might get easier to their team to get the NBA championship facing anyone in the East.
That is if they can get over Houston and GSW which have been dominating the West.
I dont expect too much for the Lakers to go way beyond it since the roster is overhauled. They might need 1 more year. Problem is the if the line up will just get 1 year each. They really need chemistry when they are playing with Lebron.
That's the big thing there, if they can blend right away chances to compete with GSW or Houston in the west finals can be achieved but it not, they need to take another season with same line up and make good adjustment, though for sure the players are matured enough its a blend of superstars both old and young generations, excited to for this year season.

Kingkong's Lakers has no match with the GSW. Kawhi will be the sixth man of GSW!
Hahaha, you just made my day.

Regardless if he has a match or not to GSW, this season is another exciting and one of the most awaited.
The warriors don't need Leonard anymore, they are the best team in the NBA and with the addition of cousins, that makes them unbeatable.
I believe whatever team Leonard will land, there is gonna be a big adjustment and they still have no match with the Champs.
They are stronger than before and they don't want other teams to outsmart them in terms of roster build up.

I know how Warriors are strong enough but the ball is round and although we are expecting the same result again for this season still, let's wait.
With their starting team of five all-star players, I think they are definitely the best one yet but we will see when the season finally comes again. Right now they’re composition is definitely hard to be but I know they can still be beaten with the right plays  by the right team.
They are the best one because they are the crowd favorite but I wouldn't ignore other teams as well.

This is the exciting part of NBA, you get to see the best but we are not seeing those teams that are going to surprise us.
I think its enough for the Warriors discussion now and lets go to the Eastern Conference  Cheesy Cheesy

Who do you think will be the best players on the east?? Now that Lebron is on the Western Conference right now, the best picks for now is Kyrie (if he will stay healthy in the whole season), Demar and the Greek Freak Antetokoumblah blah I cant spell his surname Cheesy. Maybe add Oladipo also on them.
Hahaha another made my day comment mate.

Antetokoumblablabla? hahaha. It's Giannis Antetokounmpo, this will be my bet although he's too young and wasn't able to reach some good highlights for the league.

He needs some spot light and get more stronger teammates.

I think that's the first time they ever get that far after so many years that's why you will see that they are at lost and making it worst is facing Lebron and the Cavs which has their numbers.

I reckon that it will be Boston Celtics who will be on top on the East. And then Sixers. I doubt that Toronto can repeat their performance next season, its really a breakout year for DeRozan but he choked.
Since they were the finalist in the east I think they would be on top of this season. More news are coming like Jaylen Brown wants LeBron to stay in east but it’s not happening. A lot of big players are coming out on top like Kyrie and Giannis.

I don't think much about who is the best player in East what I think is who is the strongest in the East right now. Boston and Sixers will surely dominate since Lebron leave the East and Cavs isn't competitive enough without him.

Don't forget about Indiana Pacers who almost won the the playoffs against the Cleveland. This team is still building and going stronger. But I dont know now since they lost Lance Stephenson. Maybe they want some space in their cap for a new addition of a better player.
Since West is getting stronger players who wants to have a shot at a championship might go to the East to take it.

Oladipo as their new all star player might make some changes with his game too making him more fearsome in how he plays.
He just needs to better that outside game since he is already good with his penetration.
They have Turner too. They just need a wing man of Oladipo for outside shots.

Yes, it could be Toronto, Sixers, Boston and Philly that will shake up the Eastern Conference. Toronto and Boston really give everything last season but felt short because of James monstrous game as a Cleveland player. But since he is gone on the other side, its time for those teams to really proved and make the East as exciting as the West competitiveness.
As for the previous season I think it is definitely the time for The Boston to conquer the Eastern conference. They’re Going to show their all to everyone who doubted them. It’s about time to prove everyone’s worth this year with different team compositions. We will see.

Well they're the obvious favorites in the east considering how they almost made it to the last dance without their top 2 players. Their rookies who showed up really well will have experience under their belts already and i think the celtics would be  good match even for the contenders in the west.
I agree with you that now is the time for Boston to shine now that Lebron left the Eastern Conference already. They will be stronger now that Kyrie and Hayward (maybe) will play on the next season and with the help of the young players of Boston and some Veterans like Horford, Baynes etc. , they will surely dominate the East.

I see Toronto and Philly to dominate in the East too but the Celtics will be the best team in the East I think.
