Westbrook needs to trust his teammate now, he had Paul George who can score and can defend so he has to limit his offense and focus more on facilitating the ball. it's a problem if they will not gonna work together because Paul George has a star mentality that loves to run the team being him as a main man.
I excited for the regular season to start, there are a lot of trades that has happened and I want to witness who it will work.

I hope the Paul George can blend with Westbrooke otherwise they will be an ineffective team. Yes I agree that Westbrooke should trust his teammates when it comes to offense because he can't lift the team without the support of his teammates. But it's still depends on him on how he will play this season.

So you guys think that Westbrook isnt' trusting his teammates that's why he always do the offense? lol.

Check his stats mate especially the ASSIST. It's not that he doesn't trust his teammates but whenever there is an opportunity to do offense he will make it. Also that is part of the play and by looking at OKC rosters all of them have different roles meaning he is only the lone shooter and hold the clutch plays. Look at how the ball is rotating in OKC whenever they are on the floor and you can see that there is no such thing as Westbrook didn't trust his teammate. What kind of views is that lol.

About George and Westbrook, it's not a big deal since they need just few games before anyone can adapt to the playing style. Also I know George nor Westbrook doesn't have an attitude of having a childish act so I see it's really not a problem.

Of course, OKC would be there. The main question here is how deep their run would gonna be.
I think so too that they would really be there, that is really the question on the process if they have the chemistry to be in a team. But as I said that I am optimistic that they will gonna do their job for them to go on to the Finals.

Yeah, Paul George is a all-around player and really can handle a team but here is my man Westbrook also that is triple-double machine, but as you mention he should limit that one and I think its a good idea to begin with.

I am optimistic for Oklahoma City Thunder that they will be in the playoffs this 2017-18 regular season if only Paul George will not change and be traded in Lakers along with Lebron, but that's just a heresay or a rumor but if that would really happen in the future then there's no doubt they are the Superteam I will be love to watch to be in the NBA Finals.

Everything is with the Warriors in this new campaign, They will probably register all their worthy players again and  won't lose anyone. CLE in the other hand is going through some turbulent times, IMO it's clear they are the heavy favorites for regular league wins #1, and probably even the playoffs.

The off-season is almost over, who'd you guys think won this year's trades and roster upgrades?

IMO it's the Cavs. Yeah they lost Kyrie, but they got better key pieces. Top picks, a new superstar and solid role players (except for D. Rose, we know he'll get hurt mid-season again).

Don't count D Rose yet, we may see him pull a surprise this season and maybe a key figure in Cavaliers campaign. Of course Isiah Thomas will me the main point guard, but it D Rose make a spark with the Cavs team, it will be a formidable backcourt tandem with him and IT. Minnesota has also done a good upgrade this season and I do think that they will be a solid contender as well. But I agree that Cavaliers is the winner in this block buster trade and for sure no love lost between Cavaliers or Lebron and Kyrie Irving. I can't wait for the NBA to begin again.

Warriors have their new set of players but still they managed to bring back and get their key players on their rooster. I noticed that their lineups are better compared to previous season making them more stronger and competitive because they are the defending champs. While in eastern side, clev have already trade kyrie for 4 players in boston, IT4 is the one of the best point guard right now and  I'm excited on how IT4 will fit with Lebron and the rest of players of clev.

In my own opinion Minnesota Timberwolves in this upcoming season is a playoff team but I couldn't consider a Western Conference Final Team,

-Houston Rocket, San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors will be the Semi-finals team. What do you think?

I would rank the Minnesota Tomberwolves up there in terms of upgrade. They got one of the best two way players in the league (Jimmy Butler), and loaded up on veterans and plugged some of the holes ( Jeff Teague, Jamal Crawford, Taj Gibson) that kept them from winning close games last season. With the improvement of KAT and Andrew Wiggins, this might be the season that they are finally going to be back at the post season after many many years of mediocrity.

I think this is only a Pure NBA thread, the only problem is it is still the off season in which the main topic of this thread is all about the off season moves each team has done, but also the talks are not limited to only NBA players since a lot of players in Euro Basket has been now playing in the NBA like Milos Teodosic who will now be playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Now that the Kyrie drama is over, what's up with the Carmelo trade? Still no updates eh?

And media keeps on talking about his new look, did someone saw it here then? I have no news about Carmelo trade. Talking about the schedule of this season, I'm excited to see the match up of Kyrie and Lebron. Yes, only them not the whole team I want to see on how this game will be too physical with former teammates playing for different teams now, I hope it will still be played professionally.

Still waiting for any development if melo will jumped over a new team but right now still all speculations and no confirmation yet melo is getting old so its much better to see him retitirng maybe from this team or the nuggets I guess but right we will wait until the final say of their team owners.
I think it is only a matter of time before we see Melo being traded. It could drag on to the start of the season but it won’t be until the All-Star break before such a trade happens. Although it might seem that Melo is getting old, he is still one of the most potent offensive weapons you can find in the NBA, and if Houston finally finds a way to land him, he would definitely be a threat. And knowing that he enjoys playing with Chris Paul is a plus factor while they serve as second and third option to James Harden.

I won't do any speculations right now, I'm tuning in for sports news websites, articles and social media pages/posts so that I'm keep on updated with this thing. Let Carmelo and New York Knicks decide for him.

I think the Cavs has really set the bar high in the Eastern Division similar to what GSW is in the West. They are are no 1 team and as long as Lebron is with the Cavs, East division teams will chase them down. That's why it is also to really rebuild their team and do some upgrades as well. And with Kyrie gone, and replaced by Isiah Thomas, it will take them some time to adjust by again they have Lebron so eventhough they will struggle at the beginning, James will carry the team on his shoulders until all new players are comfortable and blend with each others and end up as the no. 1 again in the East.

They did set it and they have only one goal for this new season and they want to reach again the finals and finally get the title. Almost all teams got their upgrades and shuffles so who knows if there's another aspiring contender for the finals.

It is still up to the New York Knicks' decision if they want to trade and to start a rebuild. If they don't have a promising start then this is the right path to take either trading Carmelo Anthony or Kristaps Porzingis or both for picks is a good idea. They can both follow the path on what Boston Celtics has did trading there stars for picks and look what they have now a good teams with still a lot of good trading assets. I just hope they would get the better part of the deal.
I feel like the Knicks only option is to rebuild and trading for picks would be their best option. It's pretty clear they are not good enough to win now and with Boston getting better they look like they will be the team to be beat for the next several years. I will give Cleveland one more year of making the finals and then they will give up the Eastern crown to the Celtics.

The thing is that teams that has the good picks for future drafts don't want him.

As long as lebron is leading the cavs and is consistently building a team like the one they have right now, it may take more than a year or two before the cavs relinquish the east title. Lets face it, boston only got kyrie and probably would be at par with the teams up in the division but every team in the east is below the cavs right now

They can really rebuild and also continue to reign in the Eastern Conference of the NBA. I mean with Isaiah Thomas and a 1st round pick from Brooklyn Nets theybare set to go and have a guaranteed good future assuming that they will have a good player in the draft. Also another thing to point out to is that Lebron James and Isaiah Thomas' contracts are expiring in which the Cavaliers really need to handle securing first if they are really looking for a good future for the team.
