The Dallas Mavericks are really impressive in their recent games.

Last season, many speculated that Kyrie Irving was not fit for the Dallas Mavericks but that all changed this season.

It's also noticeable that Kyrie Irving has many dunks established this season which is unusual to him. I want to see the team reaching the Finals.
Kyrie is a good player, noone can deny that. He's just not really a team player IMO. That's why it didn't work with Lebron for too long, didn't work with KD, and likely won't work long term with Luka. He will not win a championship in Dallas.

Dejounte Murray played a great game and was the game winner. The Atlanta Hawks surprised again and won the game in overtime.
As I said, it was a difficult game to predict, many people who bet on this game may have lost because of this game.

Dejounte Murray played well, he set a career high, but he scored 44 points on 44 shots. He used the ball a lot, so that kind of overshadows the scoring record a little bit. But no matter what, he deserves credit for a great overtime performance and a game winner from long 2. While Trae Young is out, it was to be expected that he would use the ball more, and he made the most of it. Also don't forget Bogdanovic and Hunter, who both scored 45 points total.
Hawks needed that win. They still have a chance to finish 9th. Although it's hard to say who would be a better opponent for them in first play-in round.

They can try again today against the number 2 team in the East.

I think if Bogdanovic shooting is on point again, they have a chance to beat the Bucks. Murray can't score the same number of bigger because he is now a mark man, plus how can they limit Giannis whom for sure will use his dominance inside. What bugged me was the point spread difference because against the Celtics they were +14.5 while only +4.5 now... Does it mean that bookies are not anymore underestimating them or just the Bucks not as good as the Celtics or even close?

Anyway, we will find out few hours from now but I'm keeping an eye on the Hawks, if they still play the same intensity they showed vs the Celtics, then I guess I might be tempted to put a bet on them to win straight up.

2-3 days ago the Atlanta Hawks made a very good comeback and won the game. They will play against Boston Celtics again tonight and I can't make any predictions for this game. It will be a fun game to watch. Let's see what the result will be.
They got complacent and careless the last time but I think the Celtics will get their revenge later to show that it was just a fluke. If you're still doubting them then this is probably your chance to get some for the Hawks since bookies have it  @1.08 for Boston and @8.60 for Atlanta. Hawks +10.50 also looks good @2.50

Yeah I don't know what the moneyline was on the Hawks but it had to be a huge payout.  I think the line was -15.5 for Boston. Boston always seems to throw up some stinkers every now and again.  In my eyes it's Boston and Denver and then everyone else.  Boston in a 7 game series is going to be incredibly hard to beat.

The Miami Heat beating the Portland Trail Blazers by sixty is crazy. The largest win in franchise history. A lot of the damage was done by their bench too. I guess you can say the Damian Lillard trade hasn’t quite paid off for the Trail Blazers, who have struggled pretty bad this year. Even Ayton who had been playing well didn’t do much tonight.
And that would also say a lot how strong the Miami Heat is, it's not only their dominant win because they also dominated the Cavaliers by 37 points. .. But them making a history for the franchise, that was insane. I am now convince that the Miami heat is still a championship team, though they might struggle in the NBA finals as they failed twice already (not even close) but in the East, the Celtics have to be prepared for them, or the Bucks.

Miami Heat is still has plenty of powers, they still have Butler and the experience under their belt, and they could be one of the dark horse again this playoff. It will not be instant for Portland though, they really have to rebuild after trading Dame Lillard and it's obviously struggled this season.

In playoff it's series so whether who Miami faces in their game, they should be prepared as Miami is not a easy team to beat. They will be hard pressed to be swept even if they faces top seed in the East, that's for sure.

I wonder what would be Giannis would request from the management if the Heat will beat them in the playoffs. Bucks already have a legit superstar Giannis +Lillard, they might need to traded Middletone in case they'll fail in the playoffs again. If Bucks will keep the current standing which is the number 2, Miami Heat will need to be at rank 7 for them to face, that's after the play-in.

I honestly think Giannis is gone either way.  His pairing with Dame hasn't turned into the great friendship and duo that everyone thought.  Dame doesn't seem happy and he's already talking about going back to Portland.  I think everyone believes this is a last chance situation for the Bucks.  If they don't win a championship I think both Dame and Giannis find new homes for next year.  I really like the idea of Giannis going to the Golden State Warriors and helping Steph win another championship.  The most entertaining outcome to me would be Giannis and LeBron both going to the Warriors and winning another 2 championships to end LeBron's career.

And firing their former coach and getting Doc Rivers might bite them in the ass if they are going to lose against the Heat again. As we have said, they are doing good before getting coach Rivers.

They also have a history of firing their coach, even Mike Budenholzer who help them win a championship was not spared. So it's not the players that is the problem. But the management itself who keeps on changing their coaches if they see that they are under performing. At least gave them a good chance before replacing them.

Yup, it's not the coach or the players but the managements who should take the blame I guess if they failed again this season after acquiring Dame they might change their head coach again and trades are not impossible to happen, though with the current sqaud winning chance still good for them in the east side, maybe some more adjustments and consitency may help them to advance to the next round.

Let see if same thing will happen or they may be able to escape and move forward anything can happen as competition is also tough with the playoff teams in the east side.

The Houston Rockets have been playing incredibly well the last few weeks. They managed to go on a 10-game winning streak. I hope they continue to play like this and we can see them among the best teams at the end of the season.
It is great that they are playing with such a performance while Alperen Şengün is injured. After Şengün recovers, he will play very effectively in such a team. Then the Rockets could be among the best in their conference Smiley

I think it's refreshing to see a team that started really bad and now trying to get at least in the play-in and fighting it out against the Warriors dynasty. They force OT against one of the best team in OKC ad their own homecourt. And even if SGA didn't play, still this is a great win for the Rockets as they are a huge underdog in this game. One of the longest streak for this season and at a point wherein regular season is about to end. The Warriors also won though, so it will set up wherein this two are going to fight for every game they had, either home or away.

If they manage to continue with this performance, we can see them in a really good place at the end of the season. I haven't felt sympathy for the Houston Rockets for a long time, it's like I'm back to the years when Yao Ming played Cheesy
After such a winning streak, the motivation of the players will be quite high. I think they are strong enough to beat many teams right now

They have a winning streak, it's probably their longest this season so they deserve to be talk about. I have no doubt about this team now because Jalen Green is already playing the way he should be, he will become a father soon, so for sure that's his motivation on how he was able to improve his game now.  The key is, when Green is playing well, the Rockets have a decent chance of winning, and I think it will not stop anytime soon because their succeeding games I think it's a winnable games.

I have my prediction on their coming games.

@utah = win
vs dallas = win
@minnesota = loss
vs GSW = win
vs Miami = loss
@dallas = loss
vs Orlando = loss
@utah = win
@ portland = win
@ LA Clippers = win
If they manage to get that many wins, it would be quite successful for them. The only remaining games that look easy are the jazz games. We can also count Portland. Because all the other teams have the possibility of being in the playoffs. So I wouldn't be surprised if they only get 3 wins in the last 10 games, even though they are such a fired up and fit team and they are having a great streak. Rockets did amazingly lately but it cannot go forever. If Jalen Green continues to play at this level, my level of respect will be very very high.

I think it safe to say that Lakers can secure for playing Play-In tournament this season. What do you think? No playoffs and Play In tournament for Warriors or Rockets?

There are only nine games left in the regular season. So yeah, I also think the Lakers have already guaranteed themselves a spot in the play-in tournament. They'll probably finish the season in 8th-9th in the standings. There is even a small chance that they can compete for the 6th spot in the remaining games because the difference in winning percentage between the Lakers and teams like the Kings, Suns, and Mavs is quite small.

There is still a chance for them to not make it but by the way it looks right now , I think it's safe to say that Lakers will catch play-in tournament.

Yep , finishing 8th or 9th this season should be an achievement for them because a few months ago , Lakers really struggled to get wins. But as soon as they make the play-in , I can't see Lakers having a deep run this year at all.

Right, I think they can surely make the play-in, with the way they are playing lately, they are also in a 5 game winning streak and everyone is healthy including AD and just like the Rockets, it seems that they have flipped a switch or something to really play this good and position themselves.

I don't care who they are going to face in the playoffs though, it's a 7 game series, so even if they got the best team in the West, whether Denver of SGA lead OKC, the Lakers are going to be hard to sweep and will give that team a run for the money.

I couldn't help but agree with you, because the pieces are also falling together in favor of the Lakers, Russell is hooping like primetime D'Lo, and Gabe Vincent return too is imminent, coupled with the defensive attributes Cam Reddish and Prince brings to the table, the Lakers are going to be a really hard to figure out team come the post, in as much as these role players can stay healthy enough for the team, they've got a highly prospective post season ahead of them.

Also add Spencer Dinwiddie into the mix, he was really a great catch by the Lakers after the trade deadline. He somewhat embraces his role as well, being their defensive guy for guarding the 1 and 2 position and then there are games that he was their scorer as well.

But the most important with this recent winning streak is that Anthony Davis is healthy, and not that fragile and then Lebron James still very much as his "almost" prime version even at this age. Wolves or Thunder, will be a great match up for them in the first round and it will be series that bettors might go with the Lakers as a huge underdog.

What a game by Murray carrying the Hawks and sink a game winner in the OT.

Yes, another upset by the Hawks against the top seed. This game was very important for the Hawks to remain in contention in the East.

The Celtics were complete, they were even -16 favorite in the betting sites but this Hawks are in serious business, and they hand the Celtics 2 losses from them. It was a fun game, completely entertaining like a playoffs game, so now, I think the Celtics are still vulnerable and still have the weakness they have before. The problem with them is that they tend to play one on one basketball when the game is close, in this game it's mostly Tatum and they are forgetting the 3 point shots which they are also good at.

With that, atlanta hopes are still alive as they are in the rank number 10 with 4 win streak.

And it indeed create a lot of ripples for NBA bettors as the Celtics was a huge favorite. Not that the Celtics deliberately lose this game, but the Hawks are much a better game going into this game. They've beaten the top seed back to back. And in this game, the Celtics might have to think very hard as well getting into the playoff. Teams are much harder to beat specially it's going to a series.

For me it's a combination of factors, like you said, Ime Udoka bring his experience in this organization coming from Celtics (which he brought them to the Finals but lost eventually). And then Brooks, who could lead and probably this is what he is doing right now and doesn't want to create anymore distractions. And Jalen Green, highly touted coming in the NBA and supposedly should win the Rookie of the Year. But now everything is working out with them. The experience of Fred VanFleet and Dillon Brooks to lead the not so experience team right now.

Yes, the experienced of both Fred and Dillion gives them that matured approach on how coach Ime wants the system to work for the entire teams, we seen respect and trust with all the players who are inside the court, with that good development, this young team might continue to developed and their quest for being a playoff contender might be shaping now, I like the way they are bringing the competition and with all the players are contributing with the roles that they are being assigned, we will see more good games from this team, and maybe the chance of taking the last spot for the play-in still on the process.

I really like what the Houston Rockets are cooking in here. They hire a good coach, which is Emeka. Even though he has some issues with Boston, Houston has taken the risk of hiring him to run, build, and create a culture there in Houston after James departure. I think Emeka is one of the reasons why James' comeback to Houston is voided, since he wants to create something, a culture, so, if you think about it, signing Fred makes much more sense than signing Harden. Harden might become a diva to the time and might chuck all the shots and may steal the spotlight from the young players. With Vanvleet, he can be the veteran guard that can help the young players develop and be the voice in the locker room. They also sign Brooks, which can be an energizer for the team; he can add shooting and defense for the team.

Adding these veterans really boosts their roster because one of the reasons the Rockets sucked too much last season is that they don't have a veteran presence that can say what the wrongs and rights of the young players are. This season, Vanvleet and Brooks can call them out and discipline them.

Lakers definitely guaranteed a place at play-in there is nothing wrong with that. However, they have been on a roll lately and there is a possibility that they can be 8th seed as well, if that happens then they will face easier chance to get there. I am pretty sure that they will want that, it would mean a first round possibility easier.

8th seed plays against 1st seed come playoff time, so that is going to be of course tough there is nothing easy about that but they have Lebron, so if they go to playoffs then they will always be a tough team. I am not sure what they will do in the end, but they do look like they figured something out in the end there, and doing much better thanks to that, whatever it is, they should keep doing it.
