Good thing the Los Angeles Clippers got rid of Blake Griffin when they did. Cause he got injured just yesterday.
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/3/30/17181184/detroit-pistons-playoff-picture-disappoint
They saved themselves in paying him out for the rest of this years salary(cause they paid him $5 million just for sitting on the bench since the beginning of the season anyways Embarrassed ), so they let the Pistons take that on instead.

Oh well, I think they didn't saw that Blake with be injured that's why they traded him. The decision boils down the the team needed some changes that's why they have to let go of their 2 top players. (CP3 and Blake).

In the end, its just business and nothing personal, but yeah maybe they got lucky of offloading him at the right moment and that's too bad that he got injured and hope that he can recover soon.

Really interesting in the West though. We still don't know we will in the playoffs specially in the 4th-8th spot.
76ers still have a chance to beat the Cavs for that 3rd spot. Cavs have been struggling lately but its going to be really interesting once the Playoffs start. A lot of expectations for Lebron but this time hes by himself, hopefully Kevin Love can get back to that level he had before, because they will need all the help now that Kyrie is gone.

The Western Conference standing is an uncomfortable place to be with right now especially if you are one of the fans supporting the 4th -8th spot of the conference as they all have identical records. 44W-33L for Spurs, Timberwolves, and Thunder and 43W-33W for the Jazz and Pelicans. With 6 remaining games this will be a close battle where it would determine what seeding they will have in the playoffs. Not to mention that Clippers and Nuggets still have a short for the 8th or even the 7th spot of the play off seeding.
The west side really evolves a lots, the team manage to recruit key players and they got a strong line coaching staff from behind, I think
those who are still fighting for their respected positions coming to this next round will try to push harder and more aggressive to advance
and make sure that they've got some advantage against their opponents.

about 7 matches are missing for each team at the end of the regular season and many positions seem already decided.

In the Eastern Conference:
1) Boston
2) Toronto
3-5) Cleveland, Philadelphia, Indiana are fighting from third to fifth place
6-8) Washington, Miami, Milwaukee are fighting from sixth to eighth but certainly all qualified for the playoffs.

In the Western Conference:
1) Houston
2) Golden State
3) Portland

Oklahoma,San Antonio,New Orleans,Minnesota,Utah
they seem to be favorites for qualifying for the playoffs and are fighting for places from fourth to eighth.
The Los Angeles Clippers (and minimally Denver) have some chance of qualifying for the playoffs but have to win almost all the remaining matches.

San Antonio still showing their pride, they still up in this conference but even they will survive the first round, the second one might be very difficult for them, Houston and GSW are still the favorites inside the west and have a much bigger edge to become the season champion, I'm a spurs fan but I
can't see any chances for them to defeat the young and hunger teams.
Wait until the playoff will start, they have a good momentum going to the playoffs so that gives them more confident to play with any team.
They might not have their best player now but LA is just doing its best to make this team a threat again, I will respect this team and maybe put my money on the season winner first round.

Well not too long ago, people are already counting out the spurs in the playoff scenario and look where they are now lol. I also would bet my money on the spurs moving on to the second round. Coach pop has a very unusual habit of proving people non believers wrong Cheesy

Damn. Joel Embiid got injuried during the New York Knicks game when he ran into his own team mate Markelle Fultz.
He won't be available to play during the beginning of the playoffs due to a broken face (reported as that being the injury Lips sealed ).
Hard luck for 76er's fans as that was their best player to advance on into next round.

This was really unexpected and imagine hitting up the floor with your face and same as you said this would really be a hard luck for 76ers fans since Embiid is their best player. He wont really be able to play at start on playoffs but well this kind of injury is much better compared if you would able to break your ankle or any other mobility aspects. Thanks for the link towards this news.

I hate when young people that never saw a single game of Michel Jordan on TV or something and talk like he is the GOAT.
Few youtube videos don't make an expert, keep that in mind. And enjoy watching Lebron, he will clearly pass the all-time scoring record, which is crazy.

Well I guess I'm lucky because I have both witness the greatness of Michael Jordan and now Lebron James. As for me, different era, different GOAT.

Just like the 80s when their is Bird and Magic Johnson playing. But Michael Jordan is really different, imagine likes of Barkley, Malone, Ewing and other greats wasn't able to get a ring because of Michael Jordan. hehehehe

Did you guys saw that video of LeBron James saying that he'd vote for himself as MVP. He is definitely having one of the best seasons of his career despite being 33, but James Harden for me personally is the MVP this season. I kinda felt a disrespect towards Harden from James. They are both outstanding players but Harden is leading the NBA in scoring and has never had a bad streak like James' in the month of January. This is just my personal opinion don't get offended if you're a LeBron James fanboy. Let's have a discussion about this.
Lebron James is just an over confident dude. That is what i don't like about him. He chooses his team mate so he can go to the final because he can't do it alone. Unlike Michael Jordan who is humble and worked with whomever the front office threw at him. He does not choose his team mates.
Forget about Jordan, we always compare Lebron to Jordan, they are different players and we know how clever Lebron is, at least
he has proven he can win championships, 2 in Miami if I am not mistakes and 1 in cavaliers, and this guy is consistent in going to the Finals, what more can you ask.

Honestly, I agree. We can't deny that both were a great players on their own way. MJ and Lebron are somehow similar in a way of carrying their team. They both get good teammates and lead the team on and off the court. They are both smart and unstoppable on their prime. MJ is history and Lebron is the present.

Both Lebron James and Michael Jordan are among the strongest players of all time, if not the strongest ever.
they 2 have 2 different personalities:
Lebron James was loved inside and outside of the field and made himself available to his teammates. Lebron James instead is more self-centered and dictates the conditions for his team.
both have strong personalities!
Damn, that conversation is hopeless. It doesn't lead to anything. Both were and are great figures and one of the best basketball players and that's it.

NBA regular season is coming to an end, enjoy it instead!

We are on the same perspective and we have the same opinion, thanks for sharing your thoughts, i think James Harden really deserves this year's MVP
If there is a betting on who will be winning the MVP award this season, I would certainly put all my money on James Harden.
His team is number 1 this seasons and in his time in Houston he never achieve that big success, thanks to Paul the chemisty is good.
I think regular season MVP and Finals MVP would be good for Harden.
I agree with you, this is James Harden's year to be chosen as a MVP of the NBA. They are the number one team right now in the western conference and had a good chance of dethroning the Golden State Warriors.
