And that is not James fault either. OK for sake of argument that can't make the playoffs this season, but I'm sure James will be back again more focus and the team already adjusted to one another.
He's body is only one and even there are fans that's considering him a one man team still there are too many teams that upgraded their roster and their performance are undeniable. But isn't it too early to say that they can't make it to the playoffs? They are on #3 in the rankings while their rival Golden State Warriors is on #2 so it's not that far.
~snip~
Bu in any case, if they did make it to the playoffs someone really needs to step up the and help him out. Its a team game and he needs his new team mates to do their part as well.
Whom do you think will be the most responsible to help him out? Cavs is still a good team with a good roster, they even changed their roster and add another good player, Jordan Clarkson. Let's just stay tune for their upcoming fight against Nuggets. I'm not going to be confident with this fight to say that Cavs will win but still, I want to see the result on live TV. I can wish them a good luck though.

That's why I said for the "sake of argument that if they can't make it to the playoffs". I did not specially say they will not make it to the playoff this season. Its two different thing.

Cavs are in danger against 76ers.

28 seconds left and the score is 95-103 and of course in favor of Philadelphia. Sorry Cavs fanatics, we lost.

I just turned on the game and Elbid is getting mad at the end cause one of the Cavs player threw the ball at the back of that trouble maker on the 76ers I never seen that guy before but he looks like he got knocked in his head with the ball one too many times.
Bad to see Lebron and company losing on winning streak they have had in the past week. Even without JR Smith in this game cause of doing something during practice that pissed off the other team mates or coach.
Nobody knew what that was about but he was not on the court tonight and the announcers mentioned something about that before the second half started.

The cavaliers loss in the game and of course the cavaliers backers, they are starting to fall again which I'm afraid will cause another
problem if this will not be sorted out early. Lebron got 30 in the game but the Sixers are just too good enough tonight that they have a balance scoring.
No question about the sixers they've got a complete line up where the players really involved to their respected positions, the cavs might need to blend
more and I still believe that lebron still dedicated, the road to playoff still undefined for each respective teams from east to west, lets hope to see those
well deserved team to compete for this years title.

I don't know mate. I'm been hearing a lot saying that Cavaliers need so blend more. For me, too much expectations has been put on the new rosters and they are still trying to figure it out and its not be very easy for them. We also need to consider that Love is not on the floor, putting the burden on James to produce more while the new players are still figuring everything from defense to offense. Its just 1 and 1/2 months before the regular seasons end, and I don't think they will come on top of the East, but I'm sure that they will be in the playoffs. Let's see when Kevin Love comes back to the line-up at the end of the month, he's the number 2 scoring options so he will be truly missed.

Funny to think though that players that were booted out from the cavs' roster are playing pretty good in their respective teams. Kyrie has been phenomenal in boston. Isaiah thomas probably found his role as thr leader of a young lakers squad, dwyane wade seems to be showing the old flash. I don't know but that says a lot about the cavs organization.

yes, you're right, all those who have left are playing very well and are showing all their value! this shows that in addition to having strong players it is necessary that the team is close and each one helps the other. Cleveland does not have the time to become a real team this season.

I think that 90% of those booted out not just in Cavaliers but throughout the NBA years that really brought the good on each and every player, just to be fair with the Cavaliers. And that is not James fault either. OK for sake of argument that can't make the playoffs this season, but I'm sure James will be back again more focus and the team already adjusted to one another.

As player no matter which team they would go they would really do their role no matter what.Im not saying cleveland is weak but sudden changes to its players do really have a great impact but well team performance wont only rely into a single/two persons but it cant be avoided on missing out their performances and contributions among the team.

For me, in the West, I think Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder have the shot in the Western Conference to dethrone the Defending Champs because the Housten Rockets depth especially now with Joe Johnson added have a chance to fight against the Warriors as for Oklahoma City with much more game remaining before the postseason if the Chemistry of their big three goes so well GSW will be find it hard to beat them.
Yeah the Golden State Warriors are going to have it tough when they face the likes of the Rockets and OKC Thunder in the playoffs and am very certain that they are not going to make it at all when to even claim the conference championship.

I agree with the both of you. Those teams have put up a solid team this year and it will make a big difference to challenge GSW in the West. Right now we are seeing that GSW is somewhat inconsistent.

As for the East, Toronto and Boston to challenge Cavs. Its gonna be exciting to see how everything will progress after the all star break because we are getting closer to the playoffs.

GSW could still win for this year as they have the edge on there Chemistry and Talents as compared to those teams that has newly acquired players thru trades. Championship is a game of adjustments where those chemistry, talents and coaching are necessary.

Warriors should easily find themselves in the finals of play-offs they clearly have been the best team out there in the past three years atleast they could face some problems only if they face the Cavs or Rockets before the finals. I hope that we get to see them both in the finals it will much more interesting games then Cleavland. The Cavs improved their squad It's going to take a while to find the right rotations. We may even need a trade if players like JR & TT don't step up and guys like Shump don't start playing within their games. but I doubt that they can be finalist this year maybe next year and that if they kept LeBron .

They won't face the cavs before finals because they are in a two different conference. And I don't think the Cavs have improved their roster, they trade IT again and they don't have Irving. Remember that Irving last year always almost have the 20% - 30 % of the teams points every game and he is a very clutch player which are necessary to win close games. I don't know, Lebron is a basketball hercules but I cant see them winning on the conference this season.
The rockets and warriors match up in the playoffs will be an earth shaking games, Im hoping that Harden will get that MVP trophy this year.

great performance in the night for S.Curry with 44 points 6 rebounds and 10 assists and an incredible 8/11 by 3 points. Golden state won against the tough Los Angeles Clippers 134-127.

Oklahoma won against Sacramento 110-107 with the usual triple-double of Westbrook (18th in this season).
Oklahoma is fighting for third place!

Cleveland is a team under construction and in fact lost 110-103 against Washington. Cleveland is likely to lose other positions in his conference.

They might not make it in the CF, unless lebron goes for mamba mentality. The Zone in every game, in every possible shots and way.

Have watched Lebron playing before the trades were done and now after.
And it is a complete overhaul of how his play has been.
It is uncanny really to see him dominating the boards again and the near blow out in the game last night was very cool to witness him going fast break again just to crush it.
It is very cool to see him going into full beast mode again right before the playoff start up again.

Lebron James plays are different every playoffs, he is putting much more effort than anyone in the league and I have seen that a couple of times every finals, but we can't changed the fact the everyone has their own limitations due to aging and he is past his prime. It is good to know that after the trade cleveland have improved, his presence can make everyone more stronger in the floor and hes play making is top notch, that is his key now to win a championship.

What happen to the cavaliers, they lose twice in a row already against the struggling Spurs.
I really thought they can easily win the game tonight since they are coming from a loss and they need to bounce back hard, so this line up is not working again?

That means that never underestimate the Spurs coach.  Grin

Amazing Dirk Nowitzki, he is the sixth player in the history of the NBA with at least 31,000 points!
he next year will make a record: 20 seasons in the same team (obviously the Dallas Maverick)

Nowitzki is the strongest international player, leading the Dallas mavericks to the title。

Its unique leg jumper is known, the old king because his old dream of, have become more and more happy, then present today and improve step by step on the score history list, it is to make the fans happy.

His fadeaway is untouchable tho', not sure what happened in defending their championship title way back in 2012.

Both teams are in the real picture but I still believe the cavaliers can easily enter in the playoffs.
They may not end up having the top spot this season but I am pretty confident in the end they will still gonna dominate the east.
When they are fully healthy again and playing with a complete line up, it would be easier for them to beat their opponent.

Well, Lebron can still always carry the team to the finals. But really it would be quite hard if he would be the only one carrying the team, especially now that even Kyrie is gone. I don't think rose would be a factor that would change the problem with lack of good players as Rose has never stepped up his game that I could say that he is someone that would bring the team to the finals.

Somebody I was trailing was saying the Phoenix Suns game is a sure bet because Memphis Grizzlies are a lock in to beat them as they did a month ago in Phoenix.
But watching the game right now and they are up 8-2 so that bet doesn't look so great at this point in the game. Undecided
It is still minutes into the first quarter so with basketball, anything can happen. Smiley
I didn't bet on this game but have you? How much did you win? Phoenix Suns won this match with an 8 point lead.
I think he bet on the grizzlies to win this game because he think it's a lock, I've heard that kind of story before but there is not such thing
like that in gambling unless you believe that games are rigged and you have insiders that will give you a correct outcome of the game, for me I don't believe in that, I bet only based on my analysis.
Correct.
I got this game prediction from this thread
[.....]
And they did lose the game which is the second time I bet on Phoenix to lose their game and Devin Booker gets the most points that he has ever scored in a game.
Always bad luck for me to bet against them when their opponents are a lock to win.
Go figure that one out yet again. Undecided
Well that's life you better try again next time.  Grin

Sorry Cavs fanatics, we lost.
You don't have to point this out. My friend Lebron isn't feeling well so he lost. I don't have any more reason or alibi to say but I'm guessing this early that there's a possibility that they can't make it to the end.  Undecided

4 games are playing now.

Cavaliers vs Nets
Hornets vs Bulls
Heat vs 76ers
Bucks vs Wizards

I'm more excited with Bucks vs Wizards, wanted to see another great performance from Giannis.
Giannis is doing well so far, he is leading the team in points in this close game.
They were able to rally to keep the game close despite a poor performance in the first quarter, I hope they'll end up winning in this game although
I know this is not an easy opponent for them.
He did well but they lost against Wizards with only 3 point lead. While yesterday, they lost against Pistons Detroit. This quite gave me a disappointment, two consecutive losses for my team.  Undecided
Its always been part of the game even how hard a player do push and make a good performance there would be always two results. We do have the same team and seeing them lost do hurt my heart at the same time it do hurt my pocket too.lol. They should make another plans or effective executions on next game to go further. If they wont changed their playing style then expect for same results.Somehow these games are really very unpredictable as the 4th quarter last minute comes.
I know it mate but I'm disappointed that I'm seeing my bet team that will be on the finals to lose for two times straight. But this isn't the right time to think about losses, there are still more games to come and its not the end of their journey for this season.

48 points from Russell Westbrook and 43 points from Kevin Durant. Total 91 points, that's very impressive!
This is only duo to score 40+ each since Jordan & Pippen in 1996!

What? Westbrook plays with OKC and Kevin already moved from OKC to Golden State like 2 years ago so I don't think that they are duo anymore?

Yes, the Mavs vs OKC was one of thrilling game. I thought Mavs can upset and take the win, however,  Dwight Powell hit it on time to force a overtime. And then Russ got the job done.

On a side note: Dirk hits 31,000, what an amazing accomplishment.

Amazing Dirk Nowitzki, he is the sixth player in the history of the NBA with at least 31,000 points!
he next year will make a record: 20 seasons in the same team (obviously the Dallas Maverick)
