Jimmy Butler is out with a knee injury against Harden and his fellow Rockets.
Timerwolves are going to suffer even more without their star player on offense and who knows for how long. Undecided

Houston has won 11 straight games? Shocked
Unreal stats so they are the team to beat for the remaining games left in the season.

I say they have the momentum going on the last remaining games of the regular season. But when playoff comes, all teams are even. Just sad to see Jimmy Butler suffer a injury close to the playoffs and I hope that he can still play. But I'm sure it will have a big impact on the team because we all know that he is one of the offensive player. T'wolves will need to step up the plate if Jimmy will be out for the rest of the season.
Oh he will it is just a meniscus tear and the time table given to him says that he can play in as early as 4 weeks. The injury would have derail the Timberwolves growth  in terms of polishing up their game but the important thing here is nothing serious had happened to Jimmy Butler. I just hope that the Timberwolves will hold up the games without him. Andrew Wiggins better step up his game and proved haters wrong about him being a boring player. It is just too much hate going home for him, having a few good games will shut them up.
They need the leadership of Jimmy Butler, he is one of the reasons of their success now and with the standing they are holding
there is a big chance that finally they will enter in the playoffs, and this team is very hungry so they are gonna be a thread whoever team they will face.

Oklahoma City Thunder - 80 v Golden State Warriors 112

OKC didn't managed to get their 3rd straight win against the Warriors. From the start of the game, they didn't find the momentum of their shots. Worst performance are shown by looking at their field goal stats of 29 out of 88 and take note that only 9 had been made from the rainbow area out of 34 shots. Really an off-night performance by them that's why during the start of the last quarter, all OKC starters are put on rest by Donovan.
Finally the warriors took their revenge, and at this time I know the fans are happy as the warriors prevented to be dominated by the Thunder
in the current number of games they played. Haven't watch the game but as the score itself, I can tell it was an easy game for the warriors and I think they are really back.

I was about to say the same thing. It was a revenge for the Warriors because they were beaten the last time. And it will be very exciting if we are going to see them matchup during the playoffs. It seems that there's some bad blood between them.

Carmelo and Durant going at each other and then there was Green and Anthony. Of course Kevin and Russ animosity is still there, so it going to be fun watching them going at each other in the playoffs. Let's see how it goes.

Golden State prepared well for this game. They dominated the OKC. They took advantage of the weaknesses of the big guys in OKC. It was really a bad day for George and Anthony, while Durant and Curry, as they have always been, played really well during the game. Golden State Warriors gave a very good show today.

For me, in the West, I think Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder have the shot in the Western Conference to dethrone the Defending Champs because the Housten Rockets depth especially now with Joe Johnson added have a chance to fight against the Warriors as for Oklahoma City with much more game remaining before the postseason if the Chemistry of their big three goes so well GSW will be find it hard to beat them.
Yeah the Golden State Warriors are going to have it tough when they face the likes of the Rockets and OKC Thunder in the playoffs and am very certain that they are not going to make it at all when to even claim the conference championship.

I agree with the both of you. Those teams have put up a solid team this year and it will make a big difference to challenge GSW in the West. Right now we are seeing that GSW is somewhat inconsistent.

As for the East, Toronto and Boston to challenge Cavs. Its gonna be exciting to see how everything will progress after the all star break because we are getting closer to the playoffs.

GSW could still win for this year as they have the edge on there Chemistry and Talents as compared to those teams that has newly acquired players thru trades. Championship is a game of adjustments where those chemistry, talents and coaching are necessary.

Warriors should easily find themselves in the finals of play-offs they clearly have been the best team out there in the past three years atleast they could face some problems only if they face the Cavs or Rockets before the finals. I hope that we get to see them both in the finals it will much more interesting games then Cleavland. The Cavs improved their squad It's going to take a while to find the right rotations. We may even need a trade if players like JR & TT don't step up and guys like Shump don't start playing within their games. but I doubt that they can be finalist this year maybe next year and that if they kept LeBron .

They won't face the cavs before finals because they are in a two different conference. And I don't think the Cavs have improved their roster, they trade IT again and they don't have Irving. Remember that Irving last year always almost have the 20% - 30 % of the teams points every game and he is a very clutch player which are necessary to win close games. I don't know, Lebron is a basketball hercules but I cant see them winning on the conference this season.
The rockets and warriors match up in the playoffs will be an earth shaking games, Im hoping that Harden will get that MVP trophy this year.

great performance in the night for S.Curry with 44 points 6 rebounds and 10 assists and an incredible 8/11 by 3 points. Golden state won against the tough Los Angeles Clippers 134-127.

Oklahoma won against Sacramento 110-107 with the usual triple-double of Westbrook (18th in this season).
Oklahoma is fighting for third place!

Cleveland is a team under construction and in fact lost 110-103 against Washington. Cleveland is likely to lose other positions in his conference.

They might not make it in the CF, unless lebron goes for mamba mentality. The Zone in every game, in every possible shots and way.

Have watched Lebron playing before the trades were done and now after.
And it is a complete overhaul of how his play has been.
It is uncanny really to see him dominating the boards again and the near blow out in the game last night was very cool to witness him going fast break again just to crush it.
It is very cool to see him going into full beast mode again right before the playoff start up again.

Yup, a lot has changed since the trade and it looks like Lebron is getting better. Maybe as we inch closer to playoffs we will go beastmode ala Kobe and bring the team on his shoulders.

One thing that really goes well though is that the team has been clicking so far although they have a few losses on their sleeves but I'm sure that they are still on the positive note to go and reach the finals again with the new set of rosters.

During the elimination round Minnesota Timberwolves looks a very promising team and it showed because they have their share of limelight. Going into the playoff, this injury to their main player or i could say, their leader on the floor Jimmy Butler would not help their cause. Hope he could comeback before the start of the playoff round.

I've seen a facebook post about Klay Thompson the first player wearing GSW uniform reached out 10,000 points. I tried to google it but nothing is appearing.
Is that a fake news or a real one? Any source? or that is an outdated one?

Maybe you just misread the information as there are already lots of Golden State Warriors players that reached 10,000 points. And if Im not mistaken Stephen Curry was almost closed to 15,000 mark so it should obvious that Klay Thompson is not the first one to reached 10,000 points in a Warrior jersey. I will do research later once I arrived home. Smiley

Cleveland is a team under construction and in fact lost 110-103 against Washington. Cleveland is likely to lose other positions in his conference.

For me no worries as once playoffs reached, all standing will be 0-0. Sealing up to 4th spot is still a good landing place.

Yes, I am also convinced that at the Playoffs we will see the real Cleveland and the real Lebron James but now from the 3rd to 7th place all the teams are very close and if Cleveland arrives 5th or worse it will start in every match in disadvantage playing the first 2 matches away
No matter what is the standing right now of the cavaliers come play-off time they will always be a team to beat. For sure we will see the Cavaliers playing in the eastern conference Finals. And if they are eliminated in that semi-final playoff that's the last time we could see Lebron on a Cavs uniform.  Smiley Smiley

The real measure of a team is really on the play-offs. Actually, its when the regular seasons ends and going into the playoffs. That's when players elevated their game, teams pushing hard and even coaches adjusted their plays. Yes, as long as the Cavaliers will make the playoff(most likely) then we don't have to worry, gonna be interesting who are they going to face though.

I think I have mentioned in my previous post that Klay became the 10th player in Golden State history to reach 10,000 points. Unless @harizen found something different in his research. Cheers mate!!! Grin

I could see it too. Dan Gilbert had already give Lebron James an ultimatum in the news article that i have read. Maybe this will give Lebron another reason to leave Cleveland. Lebron James should work for them and not the other way around because it is the team owner who give Lebron his salary. Smiley

Curry with his amazing 3's, I'm sure  a lots of fans again celebrating this wonderful game from him, too bad I did some parlay for both cavs and gsw for
ML, but it's okay I know cavs still in the process while gsw seems to showcase more entertaining games ahead.

West really the home of the champ by now, warriors, rockets, and thunders are showing their own ways of reaching the finals and its really exciting to see
if who will be the final four from this side of the league.
I guess he is back, he should have shown that good 3 point shooting during the all star so his team would have won.
Anyway, glad to see him get his confidence and his range again, the warriors although not as dominant as before, all they need is just win every game.

Another spectacle night by Stephen Curry but it is not a blow out loss by The Clippers anyway. For sure going into the playoffs, Golden State Warriors will need to ride the momentum of their Big 4 specially Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. GSW fan here.  Smiley
Yes for sure it is a big game for Steph considering they are coming from a lose in the all-star game against Lebron. He may have to put those memories behind and start focus their attention of the coming playoffs.

That would be a good game to bet on for their comeback after the all-star game loss that Curry suffered against team Lebron.
As it just happened less than a week ago and it must still be in his mind regarding that close game.
I think he did this performance as revenge for that loss.
