It is still up to the New York Knicks' decision if they want to trade and to start a rebuild. If they don't have a promising start then this is the right path to take either trading Carmelo Anthony or Kristaps Porzingis or both for picks is a good idea. They can both follow the path on what Boston Celtics has did trading there stars for picks and look what they have now a good teams with still a lot of good trading assets. I just hope they would get the better part of the deal.

I feel like the Knicks only option is to rebuild and trading for picks would be their best option. It's pretty clear they are not good enough to win now and with Boston getting better they look like they will be the team to be beat for the next several years. I will give Cleveland one more year of making the finals and then they will give up the Eastern crown to the Celtics.

The thing is that teams that has the good picks for future drafts don't want him.

As long as lebron is leading the cavs and is consistently building a team like the one they have right now, it may take more than a year or two before the cavs relinquish the east title. Lets face it, boston only got kyrie and probably would be at par with the teams up in the division but every team in the east is below the cavs right now

Well calling Harden a choker to me is too soon but I get why some would like to think that. I don't think he's a choker per se but he lacks attitude and even discipline. I think he cares more about money, business, clothing and cars than basketball lol. And if he cares about basketball he cares about all the wrong things, being a top scorer and stat maniac without focusing on winning and creating a legacy. Perhaps he's too immature and Chris Paul will finally inject some of these qualities in him, that's my wish since he has amazing talent, no one can deny that.

Well last season series with San Antonio clearly shows how he's a choker. He can't even close out games no defense whatsoever and even got blocked by Manu which should have sealed the game for them. I think its more of the attitude and patience that's why he is not performing to his full potential. Yeah, probably in for the money because Houston has paid him bigtime but he is not responding to it and I think they have overpaid him to be honest. Let see this season, If Harden has changed, he should be inspired as what Russ Westbrook has done to Oklahoma since Durant left.

Cleveland Cavaliers fans will definitely miss this young guy but they have to accept that no Uncle Drew will be played on Cavs jersey this upcoming season. Yes it's different when LBJ left Cavaliers so I think acceptance will just be an easy task for Cavaliers fans now that Kyrie Irving left.

He wants a new journey so let's just respect this without linking Lebron James shadow issue because Irving must accept that if no Lebron James, no such thing as Cavaliers will make their first NBA champ. It's a team play and every Cavs players contribute to that championship. Now a new chapter for Irving and goodluck. Can't wait to watch the season opening. It will be a blast.

No such thing as burning jerseys here lol. I know Cavs community is matured enough to accept what's happened. And besides honestly, they care more for Lebron James over Kyrie Irving. It's just that Kyrie is a big loss.

But on the other hand, new additional players on the squad is all caliber player and well known for having a good performance last season in the jersey of Boston Celtics. Hope that they will able to do the same or even more wearing the Cavaliers jersey.

It's different. The first time Lebron leaved the CAVS is really a dissapointment for fans although they must understand James side here. And it was a shocking news and no one is ready. And contract is contract, if James will leave next year then so be it and CAVS fans is matured enough as Lebron already made history in CAVS franchise when they made a championship. Anyways that rumor is close to reality. Let's see what will happened.

Somehow agree. In most important situation like the dead zone for playoffs during their last meetup with the SAS where they should knock a win, Harden performance becoming worst and his mistakes is like "hey noob?". I understand his first final appearance back in OKC but it must be just on early games but what happened is all games that time, his performance is worst and really not focus. Now Rockets have a player that can considered also a team leader, hope Harden will changed his behaviour.

Yeah I think it will just be like d wade where it is full of fans missing him when there's a chance that he would play in the Knicks stadium but with a different jersey. Because Knicks already have a pdomising future so i guess the absence of melo would just make room for new unlikely heroes for that franchise. I don't think melon trade would be that blockbuster because they would see him as an aging star and not a one man team type.

It was nice to see Kyrie bidding goodbye in a nice way and it clearly shows the guys has good manners. LOL. It closes another chapter in Cavs history. We all remember and watch 1 hour of episode of Lebron talking about his basketball plans then at the end bailing out of Cavaliers. The rest is already history though.

Again I admire the Kyrie and showing respect for your previous team, we all have to wait and see how he performs on his new team and how far he can get them.

I salute to kyrie what he did in a way of saying goodbye and what he did to the team and lets see what will happen on the court when boston and cleveland will meet on the match. Still respect on Uncle Drew.

However, for me its really how he blend and work with his new team. Should he still the one bringing the ball down or just purely shooting guard now. I'm seeing that there will be a one on one play draw by coach Brad if they really need a point very quick. The kid has really a character unlike Lebron when he left Cavs there are too much media coverage.

Kyrie is indeed good on the court and off the court. Kodus to him for at-least thanking the team and fans that supported him since day 1. Though, I'm still in awe for the Celtics. It's risky for the management to trade a lot of good players for Kyrie. I'm not saying that Kyrie isn't good it's just that I thought IT would be their franchise player after 2 seasons he had been there and He proves that Celtics isn't out of the playoffs picture. I hope that Kyrie would the same or much better, with the help of Gordon, Al, and Jae.

Cleveland Cavaliers fans will definitely miss this young guy but they have to accept that no Uncle Drew will be played on Cavs jersey this upcoming season. The Timberwolves have signed another player in Amile Jefferson and it looks like he will just be another player playing for the G-League Team which is the Iowa Wolves. With this seeing we can say that the Timberwolves are out of money as they can't sign any good players anymore to the team. No such thing as burning jerseys here lol. I know Cavs community is matured enough to accept what's happened. And besides honestly, they care more for Lebron James over Kyrie Irving. It's just that Kyrie is a big loss.

But on the other hand, new additional players on the squad is all caliber player and well known for having a good performance last season in the jersey of Boston Celtics. Hope that they will able to do the same or even more wearing the Cavaliers jersey.

Hope they won't burn LBJ's jersey yet again when he decides to call it off next year. There are rumors still.

Irving will always be a legend and will have his jersey retired, he's been drafted by the Cavs and played more than 5 years for them giving the team its first championship in 50 years. He also didn't create a huge drama compared to when Lebron left, yes he demanded a trade but it's quite understandable for most of us, he just want to have a shot on his own. Now I'm skeptical about that as many of you, he has to do a lot of soul searching and improve his game to get to the next level, but I respect him for wanting to create his own path, he's already a champion and the Cavs are Lebron's team. He may also be bored and want new challenges or live in a different city already, who knows.

The point is, the fans understand his decision and may even be beneficial for the team.
