Been reading this recent news about the recent big trade between Cavs and Celtics. Looks like things aren't over and we might see another surprises in more days to come.

Cavs To Consider Voiding Kyrie Irving Trade After Evaluating Isaiah Thomas

http://fadeawayworld.com/2017/08/26/breaking-cavs-to-consider-voiding-kyrie-irving-trade-after-evaluating-isaiah-thomas/

Anyways just a rumor.

Hip injury? I thought that was all recovered. Anyways, I've never heard of a trade void before, because of an injury. Would this be the first in case?

Another twist in the ongoing drama about the trade. It could be included in the contract as well, that they can void it once they see that Isiah Thomas is not fit to play in exchange of a healthy Kyrie Irving. Well its just a rumor and we will have to what for the next episode of this soap opera.

I also guessing that the extent of the injury of Isiah Thomas is not that big and he has already recovered. He's injury in not life threatening that he can't play anymore. But still though, maybe Cavaliers management just wanted to make sure because they are giving up their no. 2 scorer in the team.

Or it could be a bluff by the Cavs to get more assets from Boston.
can consider that mate as we knew that cavs really aiming again for another rematch against gsw and doing everything to make sure that they have that edge because losing kyrie will be a big adjustment though they've got thomas and  Crowder but still its different when kyrie who really can manage the floor without lbj inside, let see how this drama will end and how the season will start.

Actually, I've read an article analyzing the Cav's offense. There they conclyded that Kyrie, on his own, without LBJ on the floor, isn't very efficient, as compared to LBJ alone in the floor without Kyrie. So it suggests that it's Kyrie that needs LBJ in the team and not the other way around.
That's pretty obvious, Kyrie is good but Lebron is better than him, there is a reason why Lebron is a high paid athlete and has won championships in different team. When Lebron want anything he gets it, that's how valuable he is in the team now that he has proven he can give championship to the team.

Both of them can't win championships on their own. Last years championship was more kyrie responding to pressure and the clutch. Though ge cavs probably wouldn't even be the championship without lebron. Let's see how things go from as we might be seeing an early meeting betweem the cavs and the celtics.

This is really a serious thing in sports also considering the fact that Isaiah Thomas is one of the centerpiece in this trade the Cavaliers should really re-visit the negotiations. You know how serious are the medical check ups in the Football worlds? If you are not cleared in your medical the transfer will be void immediately, as having a player who isn't worth the money isn't worth the trade at all. I am just saying if the Cavaliers are wanting to give away Kyrie Irving then they should really look if Isaiah Thomas can play.

I think his defense is under rated. He is a good defender and he can even make a steal from Curry during the last finals. So no question that he has defensive skills.

Unless Coach Stevens can draw plays that will make it easier for Irving to score then the better. We all know what he can do as evident of last year run. But for me it will take at least 20 games or more to see where Kyrie really fit in the Boston roster. Let see how Kyrie adjust to Brad Stevens offensive/defensive kind of game. However, Cavs still get the good end of the bargain here.
Yeah I also believe on that, Kyrie is a talented player but it's not enough to run a good team alone.
If Lebron cannot win a championship with him alone, I don't think Kyrie can. IMO, there is no big names in Boston to play with Kyrie,
although I may say that players like Hayward and Horford are improving but they do not possess an MVP talent.

That's why to cover criticism, Boston Celtics must made it somehow on the top even they will not win a championship just to prove that the deal is really worth. It's not just about Kyrie Irving but Celtics is on the table too since they gave up their key players.

Is it a good decision for Celtics management or they totally waste some players just to acquire Kyrie? They must prove it once season started and must finish a good spot in case there is no finals appearance show for this team.

Well the Cavs got the benefit of the trade simply because Kyrie does not want to play there anymore. My thoughts are that Kyrie just doesn't want to put in the work that LBJ requires from his players. He got his title, he probably just wants to chill and play no D, coast through the season. No one can question Isaiah Thomas' heart but he's a class below Kyrie. Crowder's a dime a dozen player you can find anywhere, nothing special about him. Key to the Celtics  recent success has always been their coach Brad Stevens, probably best in the league.

I don't think kyrie's planning on just chilling and be the main man without defending like harden, no by a long shot. You can't question he kid's heart and personally, i don't think the cavs would've won a championship without irving even with lebron leading. I kinda like the celtics' lineup on paper though but i agree, coach stevens would have to find a way to make things work after their good run last season with isaiah

We are about to find out once the season will start, this move is needed for both team because they are all looking for improvement.
In my personal view, I really like the move of the cavaliers, and I think they have a shot to compete with the cavaliers this season.

I know IT was injured in the finals game but I don't that was really a serious injury like what happened to Paul George and Derrick Rose.
It should be a rumor, maybe Boston still cannot accept this decision because IMO it would be the cavaliers who will surely get the big benefits in this trade.
If we compare Thomas and Irving's performance this season, there is no big difference but the advantage is they got crowder who's a good shooter and a defender.

The Cavaliers-Celtics deal involving Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas could be on thin ice due to Thomas' hip injury.
If the trade ends up badly it will be glamorous!
The 2 players would play with little motivation!

Well the Celtics are definitely in a hard spot here, at the mercy of the Cavs turning down the deal or asking for more players due to renegotiation of the deal. Most likely all blame points to Boston medical staff and Ainge, they surely knew Thomas was not fit to play, maybe even for the full season but stated it was a minor injury. The medical staff at Cleveland must found out otherwise.

I think the deal will go through perhaps with some modifications but it would be the best to avoid a pretty ugly situation. If the deal falls through Irving will still get traded to the Bucks or Suns but I don't know what Boston will do with Crowder and IT...they will sure want out asap.

We may see the preview of Eastern Finals since Celtics and Cavs will meet on Opening night. This will be an exciting game to watch. We will see how Kyrie will lead the celtics against his previous teammates.

The first match of NBA will be a one sided match. Imagine boston traded many important players in their team for a self centered player like Kyrie Irving. I'm sure that we can see that Cavs will slaughter boston.

Pretty exciting to see what Kyrie would do to carry a team pretty much on his own.

Yes, we have talked so much negative about Kyrie not able to carry to team. Let us know see if he can carry this Celtics because the argument that he is too green to lift Cavs before does not carry any weight anymore for him. He has in this league for long and now he needs to prove his detractors wrong.

Now is his chance to prove them all wrong. We will see this season if Kyrie can be a good leader that the boston can build a team around. And Kyrie is still very young, he can still improve a lot. We know he can score, he just needs to develop his leadership.
His experience is big already as he is already once a champion, we can expect there will be an improvement
but the chemistry is not easily build. Remember, Boston Celtics is not the warriors, but still good to find out when they formally start.

IMO they've got the making for a Warriors-like team if they'll perform at the top of their game. They've got Hayward, Horford, and Kyrie on their lineup.
