Well we all know that he somewhat deserves a good pay from Houston Rockets. Otto Porter would have been offered the same contract by another team because that's the way the salary structure is nowadays. Any team can give max contracts to as many as three players. When wil the contract of Klay Thompson will last in GSW? I think the salary increase is every new signing of contract but if it happens Klay in Boston it will be a great match this coming season against cleveland

Everyone in the team deserves bigger pay. But I just noticed look on how GSW management is handling the salaries of their players. Stephen Curry recently just increased his salary that should be done last year or after obtaining the MVP title. Maybe next year we'll see Klay Thompson's salary will increase too.

Klay Thompson deserve a bigger pay and even without him in the warriors that team still a championship contender team.
Durant sacrificed his salary because he wants a ring but Klay had already two, I think it's time to reward himself with a lot of money.

There's always a change of heart when it comes to basketball and contracts. Well I don't know if other fans will remember that but it's not a big deal to him anymore what he only wants is to have a better place for him to get some good fortune on joining GSW. I guess the management has assure him of things to come in the future. Specially Wizards are building a new team and this kid will have a bright future with them. yeah he's a 23 year old two way wing player. And as bad as the East is now, he may just get into the All Star game. Also Calling the $104 Million   for a 4 year contract is overestimating thing  Thats not even the biggest contract he could have gotten this offseason - technically, the wizards could have given him 5th year, with bigger raises each year. Matching this offer sheet is actually saving the Wiz $ from what he could have demanded from them with this Wizards are starting to build a better team for the futur.

And 1-year for $5.2m is a good deal if we talk about "Nick Young". The price is fair considering he will play for the currently superteam in the league.

you just said it right klay should remain to gsw as he already been so popular with that team and its not the time to move away from the 3rd straight championship appearance better to build more and improve more gsw would become a team of this era and it will be a hard time for competing team

For me it was just a hoax and Thomson will just remain on the team he was with right now. As I seen him with his performance of last season of play there will be a great improvement for his playing career and the team he has will make him rise like the previous famous players of nba. GS will raise him up soon and the training and experiences from failures he had will bring him to future success. I know he will not end up to a stagnant skilled player, but he will be more in demand and money will come along in his hands through the ball of his career.

Nick Young told last June 10, 2016 "I hate 2016 GS fans. They don't know nothing about basketball". What funny now is he agreed on one year $5.2M deal on GSW. Hating the fans of GSW but now he will play for them. This guy also want's a ring.

Anyway, I heard a trader rumor of Klay Thompson going to Boston. I don't know if it was just a hoax or for real but that hurts for a GS fan to read/heard. Klay also play a big role in the past season for GS. This will be Ring over Money or Money over Ring.

I agreed. Maybe they see good potential in him that he signed them with this contract. And I'm pretty sure they will make him the franchise player. Its a very big money indeed, but the management will have other plans and for sure Potter will word very hard for this money. As I have said,  they will put him as franchise player and will and a lot supporting cast around him.

well they gamble with potentials that they seen coming from him and I'm positive that they think that hard to gave him the contract
maybe the system really works for him and with the same coaching staff they have good chances to make it a better team this coming
new season.
