Breaking News:

Tim Duncan Announces Retirement

No doubt one of the most powerful power house with calm attitude in the league. A loyal one and really a monster in the paint. He is one of the Spurs roster that make a championship on a year in 3 decades (90's (1999) , 20's (2003,2005,2007) , 2010's (2013)). We didn't see him became a weak one while on his journey.

I'd like to see Gasol and Duncan's twin tower defense next season but look like we can't see it now.

Congrats Timmy! Your a legend!

It will be Gasol and Aldridge manning their Center. I think Manu will retire soon as well probably next offseason then Parker.

It would be interesting to see how the Lakers can cope next season without Kobe Bryant. I have a feeling that their youngsters can finally step up and play well after the absence of Kobe. Kobe had been dragging the team now in the previous seasons.

Yesterday I noticed that there is a NBA summer season.

Are they the same guys that play in the main NBA, or just other people playing with the same team name?

Can't find much about the games in the sport sites

These are mostly rookies and some contract-based players just to get the feel of the NBA game before the actual season starts. This is a way to gel players without sacrificing losses on the actual season as well as practice some of the plays.

I'm so excited for the lakers because of the young guys. 2-3 years I think they can contend. But for now I will not bet for them. It's not good for the business Grin. But I still love them.

Now that durant is gone I bet they make a run at Westbrook who is a free agent next year.  If they improve this year you know Lakers
brass will make a run at big free agents and maybe they can land Kobe 2.0
kobe 2.0 maybe westbrook can show more with okc I think Durant and ibaka moved will just give them enough funds to get a better player who can fit with their rotation and support westbrook on which ways he decided to bring the team let see what will happen next.

They say that wb will not resign for the okc. He might get traded this season. And I hope he will not resign with that team if he get traded.

Lin said Saturday he signed a three-year, $36 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets in free agency because he was given an opportunity that has been rare during his six-year NBA career: to quarterback a team as the starting point guard.

"It's going to be collective, and Brook [Lopez] is going to be a big, big part of it as well as other players," Lin, speaking while watching the Nets at the Las Vegas Summer League, said in his first public comments since signing his new deal. "But I'm definitely coming in [understanding] what my role is. I'm the playmaker. I'm the point guard. I've got to lead. I've got to be an extension of the coach, and I'm not shying away from that role at all.

For me, being 27 now, that's something I wanted. It's a challenge I wanted to embrace, and I can't wait to do that. ... I'm going to be the guy bringing it up the floor and leading the team. And that's definitely something that appealed to me.

That's great for Lin, remember Linsanity was born when he lead NYK. Lin can do a lot of things when he's holding the ball. He can defend, run the fastbreak and drive to the lane. The only thing he needs to improve on is his shooting.

Lin is going to surprise a lot of people this season and put up huge numbers, especially since the Nets have nobody on their team and with losing out on the two free agents they pursued.

MCW appeals to them due to his length at point-guard which if used properly can provide great future for the Bucks. They want guys who can intercept passing lanes and disrupt the flow of offense of the opponents and MCW is better than Knight on that regard.
Base on their previous performances they are doing great in defense but they are bunch of idiots who's shooting bricks in the game and we know offence wins the game.

Yes correct. None of these lengthy players know how to shoot so you really can't have it all I guess.

Well, they can learn. Ibaka wasn't an outside threat before or even Al Horford but look at those big men now. These players are still young so they have lots of learning years in the NBA still. You can teach skills but you can't teach length.

Bucks Big Balls Lineup Compared to GS Warriors Death Line-up
The warriors are known for their small ball lineup

In the future the Bucks will be known for their ''Big Balls'' Line-Up.

PG:Giannis 6'10
SG:Khris Middleton 6'8
SF:Jabari Parker 6'8
PF:John Henson 6'11
C:Thon Maker 7'1

What do u do vs all of that length??

You watch them not be able to shoot behind the arc. That is not particular a great 3 point shooting lineup there. And
Thon jabari and giannis are still developing and maybe will all have decent 3pt shooting in due time..

It's obvious that some of listed above are not specialist in the rainbow arc. There lineup is unusual in the NBA if that will happen. PG at 6'10 is really not common in the league. How much more if that PG will improved it's aggresiveness and at the same time those remaining rosters will developed a fast phase game. That will be a deadly one.
yes if that will be handled by a great coach who knows how to attack and deliver the players to improve more make some changes
on how they look up playing basketball the team will generate unstoppable line up. big players like lebron who knows how to play the
ball perfectly. good luck bucks looking forward for this franchise future.
I doubt with kind of line up, it will not survive with small line up with shooters on the floor, the warriors will surely kill them hard. Today's trend is small ball games so I think that is not a good move.

Actually it was the Bucks who ended their winning streak back in December. The length surely affects Warriors ball movement as well as shooting. If only Bucks have shooters to complement their lengthy players then they will be able to have a deep playoff run.
That what they get for trading Brandon Knight to the suns, they were a strong team with him on the line up as they almost beat the bulls in the playoffs.

coaches and management mistakes maybe the real problem here is how they can survive, trading good players is hard for one franchise but allowing this things to happen will gave them enough resources to continue playing the series we all knew about that.

Sorry Golden State Warriors from a fan of Cleveland Cavaliers.
Next season is a different one. Dont expect the same to be happen in next season. Especially now that there are a lot of superstar move in to another team and they will be played along with other star.
so much exciting how a superstar collide to another one and how it will result maybe for those who are still looking for cavs to dominate
we will see more exciting players to rise and shine. good luck nba.
