Sixers won against the OKC, and Joel just bully himself against the young Chet in the paint in the very first possession of the game and it shows that they are going to capitalized on it and that's what they did. But the kid can't be deny, he is really playing very good basketball and so him and Wemby are going to fight it hard for the ROY award.

Sixers use their experience and just like how you described it Embiid shows Chet how legit big men works,
I'm pretty sure he will learn and will try to improve more.

The competition between Chet and Wemby is still by far both really showing everything, and the good thing coaches are helping these
young stars to have all their time to showcase what they've got.

Quote
Not a lot of separation between the two throughout the game, and I thought that OKC will get this one in their homecourt, but Sixers really matured after the drama on the team is over. And it was just like in a blink of an eye when Joel comeback in the 3rd and built a good lead that they hold on.

That's how the game works, when you already have every piece in place your winning chance is much better.

So true, he is the leader of the team, without him, Grizzlies doesn't have that push to win.

In my mind, a leader is a player who has a sense of responsibility to his teammates and tries to do everything to help his team reach new heights, not a player whose actions cause the team to be at the bottom of the standings. In any case, Morant could be back on the court as early as December 19. I think after that, we'll be able to evaluate how his presence on the court affects the results of the Grizzlies.

For sure there will be some positive results if Morant could comeback very early as to prevent the Grizzlies going into the cellar dweller because the West is now loaded with good teams. OKC is coming and so is Sacramento who had matured already this season.

But still remains to be seen how Morant mentality though, I mean it's very tough for this kids and it seems that he is a magnet for anything bad and controversial.

Hopefully, the chance that the NBA has given him? He shouldn't take advantage of it and he shouldn't think that he is above the league.

A little bit of outrage being shown as Josh Giddey takes the floor as a started for the Oklahoma City Thunder. It seems like the NBA hasn’t taken any action against Josh yet, but I assume at some point the results of an investigation into Josh’s off court activities with a Junior in High School will be announced. Not sure what sort of penalty the NBA will give him. Seems like a police matter.
Until now, it's still an allegation. It's a rumor that's why he can still play. The NBA is doing an investigation on it though. I hope that this isn't true or the career of this kiddo might get ruined. I mean he's one of the best passers on the team and got some triple-doubles already as well in his early career. I don't want it to get ruined by just some minor. I consider him, Chet, and SGA as their big 3 being surrounded by good role players such as Dort, and the 2 Williams. If this turns out to be true, I will not be surprised if the Thunder will suspend him or worse, waive him.

~
I’m excited to watch Chet play against a physical center like Embiid to see on how he can deal with raw strength with his skinny body. OKC seems in perfect form now that Chet is healthy and contributes well to help SGA.

Clippers vs Dallas? Dallas will surely massacre defenseless clips.
The Sixers took the victory against them 127-123.

Embiid & Maxey Vs. Chet & SGA. Almost identical combined points. One with 63, and the other has 64 points. The last time I saw the score, the Sixers had the double-digit lead, but it ended up as a close one... or at least. This just shows how good the young Thunder is. They can compete against playoff contender teams like the Sixers. Of course, it's just one game, and I'm waiting for them to match up against the likes of the Bucks, Celtics, Nuggets, and others.

Dallas Vs LA Clippers? I think the Mavericks will get this one. They are now better than they were last season, but I'm expecting this to be a close one. Smiley

Not too much happening in the NBA today but the Thunder with their surprisingly good record to start the season are playing against the 76ers. That should be a decent game. No televised games today though.

We have two games back to back on the TV, as usual in every Saturday.
Thunder were stubborn in the final minutes, but it wasn't enough to make it to overtime. Embiid made no mistakes from the free throw line. Thunder shouldn't have allowed such a big lead in the first place. Holmgren is improving his performance. He's my choice for ROY award before Wemby for now.
Now it's Lakers vs Cavs. Too many points in the first quarter. Mitchell came back after 10 days and had a good start.

Shout out to my knicks.  I almost turned the game off but figured it was an inseason tourny game watch to the end.  Down 21 in the third and 17 in the 4th they locked down Jimmy buckets all 4th quarter.  Held Miami to 11 or 12 points all quarter and rampages theor way back to a win at the garden.  Best win of the year so far for them.  Team looks tight.

That was a close game the other night. Nice to see Randle making a few shots after starting off the season with one of the lowest field goal shooting percentages in modern basketball history. They showed they can play with good teams when they have it together. I wouldn’t doubt them making the playoffs this year.

No Kevin Durant tonight or Bradley Beal for the Phoenix Suns but they still managed to blow out the Grizzlies by 21 points. Devon Booker stepped up and scored 40 to get it done. You love to see it. I hope they get a chance to get a couple dozen games in with KD and Beal to go with Booker before the playoffs so they can get their game together.

The Grizzlies are the clear underdogs in this regular season, considering they are currently near the bottom of the standings. In other words, I think the Grizzlies can be called an easy opponent for almost any team in the NBA. Honestly, it would have been strange and even embarrassing for the Suns if they had lost to the Grizzlies, whether Durant and Beal performed or not.
Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. couldn't lead the Grizzlies to win against the Suns and other previous games. Without Ja Morant all season long because of suspension, the team lost momentum showing how important Morant is for their performance. If Morant had played the Grizzlies this season might have had a better season overall.

So true, he is the leader of the team, without him, Grizzlies doesn't have that push to win. Although Bane as times trying to be their best player, it's going to be difficult for him and obviously he is not Ja Morant.

I think they've lost their swagger this year, trading Brooks and then the issue with Ja Morant still persisting. They might have to change somethings in the future if they want to be very competitive as they used to be in the West.

Jokic may have lost the game, but he played amazingly once again, that dude looks unreal, 38 points on a game the team didn't even scored 90 I think, I do not remember the end result but I think they were something like 86 if I remember correctly, that dude scored 38 of them! And not like inefficiently or something neither.

I feel like this is going great and I have to say that it is going amazing so far, I believe that they are going to end up being the champions again if he keeps playing like this. And the weirdest part is that he doesn't look like any of the MVP's or best players we have seen so far, I mean we are talking about players who all worked incredibly hard, woke up at earliest hours, trained for half the day, and won that title, this dude just dislikes the game all together and didn't even train during the summer, comes back, bored, plays, and wins. He is unique in that sense, how many players dislikes their job and could be the best player?

Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Steph Curry and more. These are the names that come out when it comes to the Season KIA MVP Award. But, when it comes to the In-Season Tournament, different names are on the top.
https://www.nba.com/news/in-season-tournament-mvp-ladder-nov-25

1. Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers - They ain't 4-0 for no reason. Cheesy Tyrese had been playing on a high level for the Pacers and on every In-Season Game.
2. LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers - Oh yeah, the other team that is also 4-0. Lebron is still damn strong.
3. Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks
4. Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento Kings
5. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns - from being unranked to now in the 5th place after missing games due to injury.

We now have 5 MVP awards that will be given.

Houston Rockets beat the Nuggets in the match in which Alperen Şengün scored 21 points. Alperen quickly became one of the rising stars of the NBA. Houston Rockets, who have achieved good results this season with Ime Udoka, seem to be qualified to make the play-offs. Alperen Şengün became the star player of the team this season. He was playing well last season as well, but this season his role within the team has evolved from being one of the important parts of the team to being a key player of the team. We are proud of him. I hope his performance continues to increase.

I agree, he seems to be improving this year, and you can sense that he is very much confidence playing his role in the Houston. And I think it's all about the culture and the confidence that his new coach is giving him. Ime Udoka really knows how to motivate his young players, perhaps similar to what he did when he was still the coach of the Boston Celtics although they just fell short that time. But he keeps his winning formula in the young Rockets team that's why they are really doing good this season and some of their losses are really close game that can go either way. For sure, with that kind of confidence, he will continue to play that good and maybe average his best season ever with the Rockets.

Yes, with how coach Udoka  handles those young stars he really put them together and create good chemistry,  I like the trust that they are putting together,  seems doing well and they are very competitive compared to their last season's performance.

Though it's too early  but the important thing is that they are really improving,  let's see if how they will keep that confidence to try winning more games together.

We are currently watching the Spurs vs Warriors game, 2 struggling teams, who's gonna win this game?

Both teams having a good start shooting at least 60%, if the pace will continue this might go an easy over for the total. Wemby seemed playing well so far,  so let's see if it will continue and also let's see how the Warriors would limit Wemby knowing the lenght of their opponents is their main problem.

Still no Draymond Green for the Warriors, still under suspension.
The Warriors managed to beat the Spurs by small margin but seeing how the Warriors team played without Draymond Green it was still very good because they had Curry, Saric and also Klay Thompson who was the player with the most points.
I thought the Warriors would experience little pressure and also difficulty in winning this match but in reality they all played well as everyone expected.
Now there is still just one match remaining in this group phase and of course the Warriors will definitely prepare themselves to be able to perform better in the future.
Kings will be the Warriors opponents in the next match and this match will take place next Wednesday.

I think there was pressure indeed, they really have to win this one and doesn't need to be upset by the Spurs. And as you can see there are no blowouts, the Warriors just play perfectly fine just to win the game. It was Curry who lead the team, Saric I think this is one of his best games as a Warrior and surely the money that they pay this big guy is worth.

Klay though, he really needs to score 20 points or more, he is back to his regular 15 points a game.  Wiggins will also need to play big for the Warriors to win close game. It's not all on Curry's shoulder, everyone should work hard and improved his shooting percentage.

There was a pressure on their side since they lost a lot of games recently. If they lost against Spurs which is having a bad streak it can possibly make them feel down. But since they are successful to beat them and got a good performance together then we can say that Warriors still doing fine this season.

And its just their important players need to step up and Klay also Wiggins need provide good numbers so that they could win. They have great potential so they should not rely only on Steph since if they could able to share the ball and shoot for sure they can get a big wins against other teams.
