Unfortunately it seems Snell fail to sign in any team in NBA team base on this article Tony Snell didnt get a team on NBA   maybe NBA teams doesn't want to waste their slots and money for charity. They are in total focus to get more helpful players that can give them good result on their campaign this year.

Its really unfortunate to see that happening but I guess that tells that NBA is for pure business and they don't care about anyone need something like that badly.
That's sad.  Embarrassed

I do understand if no one had helped him. But just for the sake of what he has contributed to his former teams, they're a lot of it but still business is business I guess.

Maybe some exemption can be made just for him to be eligible let it do alone by the management.

So I guess for Tony he need to work on other way so he can provide his family what they need especially on their medical needs.
Yeah, just praying him all the best and to overcome this challenge but as a father he'll do everything for his family.

It's a boring trade this year.
Well let's wait if there's something big that will come out, we still have 4 days if I am right.

Still a lot of time for management to make trades, so let's wait and see. James Harden? I thought that he is fine with the Clippers but I guess they will used him for leverage and maybe get just a role player to fill them specially in defense.
I think what he meant is James Harden included in the trade that happened this year. And we know for sure that he is fine with the Clippers, they are one of the hottest team now with Kawhi getting back on his old shape as well, I wouldn't be surprise if Clippers will win the championship this season, they just have enough weapon to beat the defending champions and other top ranking teams.

I'm more keen on seeing what the Warriors will do, there's a lot of noises that maybe someone big will be traded, so let's see how it goes.

Pascal Siakam is already settled with the Pacers, I don't think that they will trade him. He is their scoring option for now at Haliburton is on restricted minutes.

The Warriors moving Wiggins might likely we will would witnesss. IMO, non of the big 3 on the team would move in the trade.

James Harden may be the biggest trade that happened before the upcoming deadline. But Siakam and Anunoby have great impacts on their teams now.
Anunoby helped out a lot on the Knicks winning streak. Pacers Siakam somehow won some games while Haliburton is injured.

This trade has the biggest impact, at least on their respective teams, as both teams are getting contributions from the traded players, especially the Knicks who are on a winning streak now. However, I think Siakam is really a huge addition since he has great experience in the playoffs and they could use him as their go to guy to create his own shot, and hopefully by that time, Hali is not anymore having a minute restriction. Too early for the Pacers, they have the talent now that is capable of winning a championship IMO, all they need to build and polish is their chemistry and they should let Hali to lead this team so no conflict among players and the offense flows well.

Trading the injured. Cheesy
A win for the Rockets? Maybe.
I don't see Oladipo being the same Oladipo anymore. He was a rising star before the injury but in today's game and how I see it with his performances, I don't think we will see that same speed and agility anymore. Even if the injury is fully healed, the mental effect will linger.
Unlike Adams, he has shown tenacity and I think anyone who wants a big man will consider him.

Other teams are still not shutting down for an option to trade. I think Marcus Smart is available and so is DeJounte Murray.
On who's interested is the bigger problem because it could ruin a whole chemistry, especially those who are already in the top 8.
I think Lakers is interested with Smart to add more back-court defense.

James Harden may be the biggest trade that happened before the upcoming deadline. But Siakam and Anunoby have great impacts on their teams now.

The league isn't a charity, but it's a business, and since it's a business, they don't want to waste any money into somebody that they know will not be helpful for the team. Instead of giving it to him, they rather save that money in order for them to sign at least a role player that can be more helpful for the team than him.

I feel sorry for the guy, but that's how the league is. You're not worthy? You will not get a contract. You're not helping the team? You're out. Of course I'll exclude Thanasis with this one even though he's quite useless in the Bucks because he's being backed by Giannis.

If Snell is just thinking of his 2 kids, he can just to go other leagues outside US. I mean we've seen lots of ex-NBA players that went overseas just to play, and to earn as well. He can go that route as well. If NBA don't want him then find another way to earn.

Great night for the Lakers and the brightest for Austin Reeves this season. I am more persuaded to keep Reaves on the team. Let him grow and exempt him from any bargains. Because Lakers officials desire to get new players to help Lebron and Davis.

I am happy that the Los Angeles Lakers squad was able to win without Davis and Lebron. But seriously, what a poor Celtics performance. Even though it is still the regular season, some fans will doubt the ability of Tatum and Brown to lead the team through difficult times.
There was no rumor that Reaves will be traded, in fact the rumor was they will keep him but will trade D'Lo. You can see the maturity in his game, he doesn't panic and make some fancy moves, he's just doing the basic and follow the coache's plays. I'm sure he wasn't included in the team USA roster if he doesn't have the potentila, this kid is still young, he improve his skills in LA, keeping him and giving him more time to improve, he'll become more consistent eventually in the future.
He does not have a big contract like Russell and the kid has great potential, so there are no big rumors to transfer him. In any case, the public knows that Lakers officials want to bring one more superstar into the team to aid Lebron and Davis. Reaves could undoubtedly turn out to be essential for the deals realizing Russell is inferior to trade with a superstar, for instance, Dejounte Murray and Zach LaVine. And it is not new for Lakers officials to surrender potential players when Lebron James joined them. They can hardly wait, and they need to win now. But it is acceptable the fact that Lebron is going old but is playing great and they need to take advantage of the situation while it is there.

It's obvious that Lebron James is getting old, it might not show it right now, but we all know that him getting injured frequently, is a sign that he has just a couple of years left in him, and most likely waiting for his son to join the NBA before he retires. As for Reaves, it is also evident that he is the next offensive options for them. And now that Lebron and AD is out, he took matters in his own hand and lead them in both end of the court, playing defense and then scoring 30+ or more. This game might stop the trade rumors surround D'Lo or any other Lakers as this is a big morale win for them. Nevertheless, time is ticking, Murray and Lavine might still be in the Lakers radar, maybe one of them will join AD and Lebron.

I think that LeBron injury is nothing close to serious, maybe just a type of injury he could carry on when he was younger, but yeah he's getting old and he gradually losses everything he can do in his prime, especially that ability where he can carry a whole team to the finals.
Anyway, I hope the Lakers won't send Reaves or DLo away now, I mean they can build a better team around them because LeBron and AD will probably not gonna last a couple more years with the Lakers. LeBron will eventually retire and AD will probably play for his hometown and retire there.
The current Laker team doesn't really need the trade, they just need consistency. I even doubt a trade would make any difference. That win against the Celtics without AD and Bron was just one of those games the Lakers usually plays, the only difference is, they are shooting at a higher percentage. If they could shoot like that consistently, they would easily be in the top 3.

In today’s weird news. Tony Snell has come out publicly as being autistic (if he already did I was unaware) in an attempt to get signed to one more NBA contract. If he gets signed one more time he’ll hit the NBA’s 10 year mark to get healthcare for his family for the rest of his life. His kids are also autistic, so Tony is asking for a 10 day contract and going public with his health issues (and his family’s) in order to try and get a contract. This is a story to watch as time is running out.
I've read this news and the deadline is on Friday. If no team signs him up until Friday then he won't be qualified for the league's benefit that will definitely gonna help him and his family.

Any team that sees his situation could give him a hand and even he'll heat up the seat on the bench, that's no problem as long as he'll get that benefits that will help him and his family for the rest of their lives.

Mark Cuban might help but is there any spot on the roster?

It does seem like Mark Cuban would be the guy to help Tony out, but he's having all sorts of DEI issues at the moment so he'd probably face backlash for this actually...

I do hope that someone will go out of their way to sign Tony Snell to a 10 day contract today at least before time runs out (a matter of hours now), but I could understand why other owners or the league could be upset if this becomes a thing.  Tony Snell isn't a charity case though.  He's had a good career and I think he's as capable as any NBA reserve to sit on the bench for a couple weeks.
Even Chales Barkley have called the NBA teams to help Tony to become eligible with that medical help that will be part of just for this little contract that they can give to him.

Isn't it this day is the deadline for his eligibility? and if no team signs him, then that eligibility will be gone. I can't find news or any updates regarding if a team has signed him already.

Lakers were missing both AD and Lebron, and they still won. Not that it means Lebron and AD are bad for this team, but the fact that they managed to beat Celtics with this squad is an insane achievement. The only reason for their success was the fact that they played big team ball and that is always good.

This got me thinking, maybe the rest of the team are dependent of the two superstars that they can't bring out their best version? And now that they are out in this game, it's insane to see them beating a great team without the two and each and everyone that plays in the court really push themselves, specially in defense like limiting Jalen Brown to just 8 points.

Hopefully, with what they shown, this could just be a tip of the iceberg, similar to last season ago wherein they reaches the Western conference finals but lost to the eventual champion in Nuggets. So we will see and hopefully this is a sign that they can still make it to the playoff or to the finals again.

No one talking about the Knicks yet besides Kendrick perkins?!?  Without julius, OG, and some bench depth and the Knicks keep rolling.  Last night was a gutsy win against a good Pacers team.  Playing some end of the bench players like duece Mcbride and Jericho Sims and they still hold one of the best offensive teams to low 100s.  People gonna start taking them seriously soon.

It has been discussed a couple of pages back mate. It was really a great win for them, Randle with be out for a couple of weeks and OG. Pacers put up a good lead, but the home team came back roaring in the 4th quarter. And if I'm not mistaken, Pacers is one of the top teams as far as offense goes, average 120+ ppg. But they held them with a good defense in the late quarter, Precious Achiuwa played great defense on Pascal Siakam in the last 4 minutes and not allowing him to score.

And his offensive rebounds are very contributing factor as well. Jalen Brunson lead them with 40 points, and it seems the was mad when there was a no call on him, when he was poked in the eye. And that was the last score of the Pacers as they held them scoreless, unless the game is in their control. We should also mentioned Isaiah Hartenstein, with a big 12 points and 19 rebounds.

When you have stars, everyone else gets cold and then they look like they are missing a lot of shots, but when you shoot once every 7 minutes, it's normal that you would get cold and when you have stars then that happens because stars shoot the ball most and then you get the ball in rotation with everyone else and that turns out to be very few times. They need to start sharing the ball a lot more early on, to get people going at the start of the game, then Lebron or AD could take over if they have to.

You said it right, without proper ball movement and if all the rest of the players are just waiting for the ball from the so-called superstar/s
the chance that the confidence can't be built.

Limit in touching the ball or that kind of doubt to take the shot is something that hard to develop if you are playing with superstar.

Winning against Celtics shows something that Lakers possess that they can't fully utilize, asjustments and proper assessement is what
they need.

Rockets got bigger now with this fresh news that came out.

Grizzlies trade Steven Adams to Rockets for Victor Oladipo, three second-round picks, per report

Quote
The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to trade Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The Grizzlies will receive two 2024 second-round picks and one in 2025.

Adams has not played in over a full calendar year due to long-term knee problems. He last suited up on Jan. 22, 2023, and missed the remainder of last season with a PCL sprain in his right knee. He was expected to be back this season, but underwent season-ending surgery on his knee in October after non-operative rehab failed to resolve instability. At that time, the Grizzlies announced that he was expected to make a full recovery for the 2024-25 season.

Although Adams is not yet playing due to injury, but when he comes back, he'll be a big help for the team that has been doing pretty well this season. They need a big guy and Adams is just the right answer. So great news so far about the trade news.
I agree that this a big addition to the Rockets whenever they're going to play with complete roster including Aquaman.

Anyone here that have read the trade rumors about Lebron James? I've just seen it and I wasn't familiar with the name of the person that has released that statement and as if he's like Woj.

I can't find it anymore but only this breakage of that rumor by Rich Paul and said that Lebron won't be traded.

That was an impressive win by Lakers without Bron and AD. Austin Reaves led his team one more time. Brown and Tatum were cold, Celtics played awful as a team and they have the right to play like that sometimes. This is a regular season game after all. Betting conspiracy theorists are already writing about this match though. Grin

That's why they kept this guy because this kind of confidence and dedication with basketball skills like that, can make him the next Lakers cover if he can win more games without those star players. And we are talking about a big-time team they just beat last night, the one that has the potential to be crowned the NBA champion this season but when Reaves exerted all necessary efforts to win the game, he could do it and the fans didn't expect this to happen but as we witnessed earlier, everything is possible inside the court with this guy around.

Pretty crazy that Oladipo has turned into a salary dump piece for trades. People were talking about him like he was a top 10 player a couple years ago. Injuries must have taken their toll on him.

And a mistake of not taking the max contract with the Pacers. He was used to be an all star player, now he's only gaining limited minutes with limited contribution. That's why it's important that when there's an opportunity, they should take it right away as it might not happen again, but too much for that. I think the kind of news has a huge impact for the Rockets, Steve Adams is still young, at age 30 although he was injured, I'm sure he will still be the same again and with him on the paint playing good defense, that will improve their defensive rating.
