I think it's bound to happen, there will be trades in the Warriors as we near the trade deadline, as the saying goes, if there's fire, there's smoke. It could be Kuminga or Wiggins for Siakal but we will see what is the package will be.
Kuminga doesn't have the value as Wiggins in terms of salary, so most likely it will only be Wiggins that will be traded. Besides, Kuminga has been playing good basketball, he's fit with the system of the Warriors, so they can work him out to be one of their superstars in the future especially when Curry gets old or retire. I think Wiggins + other guy, but not Kuminga.

Same with the Lakers, they are actively pursuing Dejonte Murray as well from the Hawks, and rumours says that package will not include Austin Reaves? Gonna be a shocker if this is true as Austin could be their 3rd offensive option.
Reaves is a decent player, but for the Lakers to win, they could let go of him to acqurie a real guard who can shoot and more atheletic. I think trade between the Lakers and Hawks will happen without a problem.

Since Michael Jordan's departure, the Chicago Bulls have ceased to be a formidable force and have failed to secure any further championships. Their objective each year is merely to qualify for the playoffs, not to achieve victory. Ever since Michael Jordan's retirement, the Chicago Bulls have struggled to assemble a roster and team of the same caliber, hindering their ability to compete for the NBA championship.

Well what do you expect?  Grin

It's the bulls, a dynasty, the best team in the history ( in many people's opinion ) .
There will never been something like this team again. Today's strong teams are mostly superteams getting built.
The 90s bulls had a great core and just added for example Rodman and other role players.

I liked the Derrick Rose Bulls as well. They could achieved a lit if not for the bad injuries of D Rose pretty much breaking up the whole thing.  Cry
The other problem was Lebron was ruling the east for a long time, it was hard to get past him and his super teams ( Miami and Cleveland in the 2nd stint ) and the super team Celtics with Garnett, Pierce and Allen.

There's a lot of what if in the DRose era as a Chicago Bulls player, but I don't think that he can carry that team on his back. They have to contained the Lebron era in the Cavs and them and Bulls are rivals. And obviously that injury took everything, his prime years and DRose was never the same again. And then super teams in the East was also established that time.

The thing though that even if the Warriors broke the record of the Bulls, they didn't win the ring that season as Lebon and Kyrie make the biggest comeback in the NBA finals and upset the Warriors. While that season, not just the record, but the Bulls and Jordan almost swept all the awards that season. So no one can really be compare to the Bulls of the 90's as how they dominated that era.

And so the rumors is still swirling on Andrew Wiggins being traded right now, it was reported that Toronto might be his new home, but we will see. Just sad that Wiggins is still in his prime and yet this season, for unknown reasons, he looks like he is already wash up and Kuminga taking over his position.

Also the same with Looney, and again, reports indicate that he might be also in the trading block and replace him with a new and fresh center for the Warriors. We will Draymond as well and how he will be when he comes back.

I read the opposite, that they were more open to trading Kuminga and keeping Wiggins now. I guess Kuminga and Draymond are having some issues… The Warriors and Lakers are both getting pretty aggressive in talks along with the Raptors and Bulls. Even Miami to a lesser degree. I wouldn’t be surprised to see those teams involved in some big moves over the next 3 weeks.

Speaking of the Warriors, great win against a red hot Chicago Bulls, this time they didn't choke in the 4th quarter. Everyone shows in this game, Wiggins and Kuminga in the 1st quarter. Klay in 3rd and then Steph in the 4th.

But not sure though if this is enough to keep the trade rumors check for Wiggins or anyone from the Warriors as I do read as well that Pascal Siakam name pop up with the Wiggins trade potential. So we will see, if Wiggins continue his outstanding game and Warriors getting back for at least in the play-in, they might keep this roster intact.

The trending Thanasis flop. LOL. Everyone is starting to believe that he's there on the Bucks just because of his brother, Giannis. But he was drafted by the New York Knicks, right? it seems that he's playing always like a joke and based on his percentage stats per game, the people's thought about him being on the Bucks so Giannis won't move to another team looks like a binding contract.  Grin
I just can't stop laughing whenever I see discussions about this guy but hey he's part of the champion ring on 2021. While their other brother Kostas was also a champ too with the Lakers.

Haliburton is a very very important player for the Pacers, in fact he could be probably the most important player they have, and him missing two weeks is still a serious issue for them. I am not saying that they will suddenly suck, but I am sure that they will play below their win rate for this period, he is way too good to not have an impact when he is missing.

So far the seeds are getting their shape, we still have plenty to change and we still have a little bit of time for trades and I am sure that it will get more serious the closer we get to the deadline. I think there are plenty of teams trying to figure out a way to make some moves, and I think they will have some issues because nobody wants to get nothing, many teams have a chance.
And that is why they are super underdog on every game that he will miss. Haliburton is a piece that is difficult to fill in by other players. His speed and threat in the three-point line are like Steph's in his younger days, he is growing to be one of the biggest threats on outside shots.
But even though they are underdogs tonight against the Atlanta Hawks, I still put my trust in their bench and healthy roleplayers which is why I am winning this bet today. Cheesy

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were absent but MJ did send a message to the Bulls fans.

It's nice to see the Bulls team of 95-96 once again who recorded 72-10 which is one of the best records until the Golden State Warriors broke it. Still, there are a lot of memories of just seeing those guys again. They are old but the memories will be kept forever.

Funny thing. My wife (GSW fan) was surprised Steve Kerr was sitting there. I said, "Oh yeah, he was there, he was once a Bull!"

Ever since Michael Jordan's retirement, the Chicago Bulls have struggled to assemble a roster and team of the same caliber, hindering their ability to compete for the NBA championship.

The legend of those years was Jordan, and since he was also in Chicago, the Bulls were like a storm in those years. Not only Jordan, Chicago had a good squad.
The situation is no different today. The moment Lebron and Anthony Davis stopped in Los Angeles, the team stopped. This is what happened in the last loss (Phoenix match)
For now, there is only LeBron who is like Jordan and Kobe. He is also getting older and whoever has the new top basketball player will have a say in that championship.
Chicago has now become an ordinary team in the NBA. Because they don't have top-level basketball players.

No Embiid, no problem for Sixers. Harris and Maxey play at All-Star level. Batum is on fire behind 3-pt line. Paul Reed is pretty good at both offense and defense. Even rotation players like Pat Bev and Mo Bamba were good. Fox and Sabonis are unrecognizable tonight. It's gonna be an easy win for Sixers after three losses in a row.

20 points lead with 4:09 left to play, it’s going to be a well deserved win for the 76ers, they stay locked from the very first quarter and never really let Sacramento Kings to get back into the game, limiting the Kings Dynamic Duo in Fox and Sabonis to a very low scoring game made it all possible for them, Sabonis had was just 2 or was it 3 field goal attempts in the first half. I don’t think I’ve seen him had less all season long.
Yeah, I think Maxey is emerging as their second option now behind Joel. But since Embiid is not present he will be the leader of and then Tobias Harris as the 2nd option for now. This is how they did against the Hawks and they almost win that game if not for some miscues in the last seconds.

But this time, they can't be denied as the Kings can't do anything about it. Bad shooting night for the Kings and they are a high scoring team. But with this phase by the Sixers, they can't do anything about it so good win by the Sixers to snap from their losing streak.

That would blow Pacers' chances. They are 21-15 now, I wonder where they will be when he returns. I don't expect them to win many games, maybe 1 or 2 but that's all. There are six-game road trip for Pacers. Maybe this is good timing for them because their win chances were low in this road trip anyway.
Carlisle said they'll be all right but let's be realistic. Haliburton is more than half of this team.

How about the first career triple-double of Victor Wembenyama?

That was good. I think if Victor continues to progress, we will see more than one triple-double from him, but not with ten assists, but with ten blocks. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes even a quadruple-double one day, as players like Olajuwon and Robinson have done before.

The other match of the night for me was between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix, and Los Angeles continued its inconsistent play as before and lost 109-127 at home. When Anthony Davis and LeBron scored few points, defeat became inevitable.
Milwaukee, second in the Eastern Conference, defeated leader Boston at home with a score of 135-102.

It was another pathetic performance by the Lakers. It looks like they didn't even try to beat the Suns in this game, as no Lakers player even managed to score 20 points.

The Lakers just stink.  When ypu are starting austin reaves ypu kmwo ypu are in trouble.  Honestly he is a good bench piece but he isn't a championship contending starter.  The rest of the team outside Bron and AD is sub par at best.  If AD or Bron go down for an extended amount of time the Lakers are in trouble.

Speaking about the Lakers...  You can see how badly Durant wanted to get a win over LeBron after being buried in their last meetings this season.  It was important for Durant to win this one for "legacy" reasons as LeBron has owned him this season after not meeting up in the regular season for years...  Below is an article where Booker talks about how Durant was telling all his teammates to be aggressive.  I think Durant knew the Lakers were going to try and shut him down to let LeBron get another W on him, but Durant was focused on the win and I'm glad he finally got one.

When LeBron doesn't play well, the Lakers' chances of winning the game decrease significantly. Lebron, the player who should have scored the most points in this team, could not score many points in this match either. So it wasn't a very difficult game for the Suns.
You can't always play well every day, that day is over for the Lakers. Of course, the fact that the Suns played well also contributed to this, but I think it was not a very important match. The Lakers' goal is not to finish the season in first place anyway Smiley

Its because they are heavily relying on Lebron and their coach don't know how to use his players. They have full of talents as Davis say but they can't manage how to rotate well their players and take advantage with their potential.

If they could just play well and know of to scout their players in every important situation for sure they can take many wins. But it seems they are.really struggling and they are close for not getting any spot on playoffs. If they can't find a solution on their problems just like Clippers did maybe we cannot see again playing on playoffs.

^ I think that they are just used to Lebron always performing for them and that's why they are so interested in winning whenever Lebron is playing well. If Lebron is taking a backseat there is nobody to take his place in my opinion. Of course, I also believe that the coach is actually incompetent. Because otherwise, he would know how to use the players effectively. The squad that they have right now I think they should be performing a lot better compared to what they are doing right now. It was easy in the end for the Suns to be honest.

I have also lost hope in the Lakers. The performance is not improving. Well, actually the performance is inconsistent. The only way they win is if the one and only player, LeBron, for the  Lakers, makes them win.

Lakers are probably done this season, they lose big time to the Phoenix Suns who are also struggling, but they are worst than them. Beal had 37 points, this is scary, he is back to his old form, and hopefully the Suns will be consistent in the coming games.

While looking at the Lakers players stats, I feel dissapointed specially the two superstars of the team.

Lebron 10 points and AD 13 points, this is a real struggle, both of them.

When LeBron doesn't play well, the Lakers' chances of winning the game decrease significantly. Lebron, the player who should have scored the most points in this team, could not score many points in this match either. So it wasn't a very difficult game for the Suns.
