Who else is disappointed in Spurs? Not about their standings because it's obvious that they're one from the bottom now but about the recent actions of Wemby's teammates, Vassell, Johnson, and Sochan. This team has no superstar but the moves of these three were too obvious with Wemby. They're not passing him the ball despite his open positions and good plays that can be done. It seems that they cannot see him inside and outside the ring and they won't pass the ball.

Even the commentators have noticed those good plays that can be done with him for being open. I think that this team is seeing the best for their players and Pop should have noticed it already and he has allowed that to happen. There can be so much improvement from these boys but I think what the team needs is to hone Wemby together with this but if not, they have to trade these players that seen to have selfish plays and just get one veteran that's good in assisting and can all of his teammates that are open and to make better plays with them. It's just disappointing that they're like that but it is what it is.
There are some videos online regarding this one.

There are some possessions of the Spurs where Wemby is free at the paint, but they refuse to pass it to him. There are some possessions where he can get the ball when they pass it to him because his defender is way smaller than him, but instead, the ball handler chooses to pass it to the wrong person. I mean what's wrong with them? Is this what Coach Pop is teaching to his team? Is there some kind of jealousy going on with the team because they already know that Wemby will be the face of their team a few years from now?

Whatever happens with the team, I guess let's just not stress ourselves on them because, in the end, Wemby will be the face of the Spurs, and what they need are players who will compliment him. Trade those players who aren't fit for him.
Probably it's part of the play of Pop did planned and told the boys. But with all the visibility and we're not ignorants in basketball although it's different when you're inside the court but it just can't go unnotice when you watch the entire plays during those times. I guess that they're showing who are the ones with tenure on the team and Wemby is still just a kid, a rookie that shouldn't boss around. I mean all of them want to get some wins right? It should be like that and have a winning mentality. Look at the players with this type of mentality, they are the ones staying longer in the league, right?

Spurs urgently need to add any player whose position is point guard to its roster. The point sochan experiment of popovich, who normally doesn't get involved in such ambitious things, has turned into a disappointment and tre jones can't give what is expected. Even if rajon rondo came now, he would put our idle youngsters in order, the situation is that dire. The importance of the point guard can be seen by looking at Houston this year. As soon as fred vanvleet arrived, the team started to get wins. It was a mistake for the spurs not to approach vanvleet more seriously.
I agree, someone who's veteran and can see all of the players who are free and not. A real team player, many fans suggests Ben Simmons that can help the team next season. There are veteran and better point guards there that will show what these young calibers can do. Even the bench players, they'll for sure going to lit the fire when given the opportunity and playing time. How much more if someone can accompany Wemby with a good play maker who's been around and help them around with his experience.

But can we really attribute the success to the PG alone? I mean, they have a new coach, and not only Vanvleet who are playing well for the team, even Brooks are playing great basketball. The thing is, if Vanvleet joined the Spurs, he might also struggle as his teammates are young, doesn't have the experience in the playoffs, unlike with some of his teammates now, maybe Brooks to be safe which has plenty of playoffs already.

Spurs doesn't expect to be a playoff team with their current line up, they are still in the rebuilding process, so they need to be patient and make everyone play according to their rule, that's what we called great chemistry.

That's not right if it wasn't out on the coach design. I mean, if the coach would say pass the ball to Wemby when he is open, they should follow it. Probably the team are just not inspired playing anymore due to their losing streak, and since everyone was focus on Wemby as their best player, they seem not liking it that only the rookie are getting popular, they'll probably just accept it if they are doing better but since they aren't I'm sure there are frustrations among players and that resulted to their bad plays.

IMO, this is just temporary, they'll fix this knowing their coach.
Like it's noticeable and for sure Pop did see those plays but didn't see that coming. I don't know what happened on the lockers but that's pretty much exposed today. I don't think that they're not inspired to do it because of their standing, it is their job and it's about these teammates that have probably intentionally don't really want to pass the ball to Wemby.

They aren't shunning him.  Pop is one of the best coaches in the NBA, dudes would be benched if they aren't carrying out his offensive gamelan period.  You have to remember these guys are young, they aren't just going to run the offense through wemby everytime if pop doesn't want them to.  They are just young that's why they are struggling.  They will put it together but this team was never going to compete this year with the big boys just because wemby joined the team.
Yeah, that's acceptable already that this year they're totally out. And it's true that they're still young maybe it's actually a play that Pop have told them. Anyway, let it be and I just wish to see them improve for the upcoming season since this season is no longer optimistic for them to be and it's not going to do them any more good even if they win some games. On the other hand, I think that Donovan Mitchell is doing the opposite.

Unfortunately, the losing streak continues, both Celtics and Sixers won their game already and same with Bucks huge lead against the Knicks.

Christmas day match-up, a lot of good games to watch,

Nuggets vs Warriors - GSW a change team after the Draymond incident, winning back to back.
Lakers vs Celtics - Lakers have the homecourt advantage
Knicks vs Bucks - Knicks looking to bounce back, will be at MSG
Suns vs Mavs - Suns on a losing streak, and we all know that there's no love lost between Luka and Booker
I have no doubt that they will be exciting games to watch... especially the Suns and Mavs game, because Luka and Booker have a rivalry and I'm sure neither of them will want to lose the game.
It's the same venue when Luka make them cried in game 7 of Semi, but that time there was no Durant yet, it was Booker and CP3. Now, we will see a much more improve Luka, he's playing an at MVP level, so I don't think there's any in the Suns team that could stop him.

Suns though have the edge here as they are on their home court, but their record is 3-7 in the last 10, so they badly need a win here.

I believe it will also be a close game, but I imagine... Mavs will win the game.

Of course, Mavs are capable of winning, but in this situation, I think the home team will win.

Nuggets - Warriors - Since Green's suspension, they are playing way better now. It seems like the change of starter helped them. Thompson seems to be getting his momentum already as he played better on their winning streak. TBH, I'll go with the Warriors on this one even though they are against Jokic and Murray. Let that streak continue. Cheesy
Lakers - Celtics - Classic match-up, but I'll go with the Celtics on this one even though they will be playing on the road.
Knicks - Bucks - It's hard to predict TBH, but I'll go with the Bucks on this one. Cheesy
Suns - Mavericks - The Father-Son duel will happen again Cheesy. I think I'll watch this one, and will look at how Booker and Doncic play. I'll go with the Mavericks on this one.

Pistons update again.

They're now on a 26-game losing streak, tied with the 2nd most currently that the 2010-2011 Cavaliers made. The current record is 28, and the next 2 games of the Pistons are against the Nets on their home, and against the Celtics on the road. They have a slight chance of ending that streak on their home against the Nets, but if I'm the bettor, I will go with the Nets with this one. The Pistons will lose to the Celtics that's for sure, and if the streak continues, they have a chance to break that record and continue it to 29 straight losses on their home against the Raptors.

As a Pistons fan, how could you see your team breaking the record for most consecutive losses, and take note that it might happen at their home? For sure, fans will boo them big time if that happens.

A day of rest before arguably the best basketball day of the year.  I'm not sure how the NBA took over Christmas but I'm happy for it and for the players and coaches willing to sacrifice a big chunk of their holiday just to entertain the rest of us while we sit at home counting our blessings.  Really looking forward to watching the Lakers face off against the Celtics, which is always good for sentimental reasons, and the Mavericks facing off with the Suns.  Booker and Doncic have had some beef for a couple years now so you know this one is going to get chippy.  Hopefully with Durant along for the ride Booker won't get punked again.

It's been an NBA tradition to schedule rival teams during Christmas and it probably has high ratings which is why it continues. I might miss some of the games but I am definitely watching the old rivalry between the Boston Celtics and the Lakers. Boston is the top team in the NBA but this is not an easy game on the road especially when the Lakers just beat the 3rd ranked OKC at Oklamoha in their previous outing. But I have a -3.5 bet on Boston.

Booker going up against Doncic will be another intriguing game. Doncic got the best in their previous meetings but this time Booker has KD on his side. But I am rooting for the home team here even if they have been struggling lately. Might try to catch some good odds during the live game.

All Christmas Day matchups are exciting to watch maybe with the exception of the Heat and the 76ers. Jimmy Butler is unsure but Joel Embiid cannot make it because of an injury.  We can watch them all matches because they do not have similar playing time. It will be a day loaded with entertaining NBA basketball.

The Suns and the Mavs are the last match, and it is perfect. Luka and Devin are bringing their high energy on the court. Dallas has a higher rating but they are playing a much more comfortable at home team.

It's going to be Luka vs Devin Booker again as we want to see this game. They have been at each's other for the last couple of years specially in the playoff and I think Luka has the advantage.

And Suns has been struggling even with Durant, I mean as we have observed getting Bel and KD and along Booker, it's all offensive and they don't have that much defensive that's why teams are defeating them easy and it could be the case here. But Phoenix Suns is the favorite as per sports bookies, so who knows that this could be another trap for bettors.

Luka and Booker have bad blood to each other its like they really hate each other when facing each other in court that's why its exciting to watch their rivalry since we can expect some arguments and trashtalk's coming from those guys.

Unfortunately that's there current problem and I think they need to find a solution since they really need a defensive guys that can help them since if they only deal on offensive ends but they are weak in defense then provably they provably struggle to win even if they have Durant,Booker and Beal in their team. Expect that Suns will be their favorite but we should remember that Luka and Kyrie is doing well so they are so hard to defeat especially Luka will have a great night.

I wouldn't dropped a comment regarding how dissapointed I'm for the club' spurs, who knows what they're passing through at the moment? Every club have their shine and flop season. The coach have instructed the players on what to do, he shouldn't be adhered to any pressure facing the club right now, he's still surfing means to make amends for the club to bounce back to winning ways as usual. The team is disappointed with the current mediocre performance portrayed in matches, but I believed this is temporary and everything will work out to be smooth.

Wow! The Lakers are back in the winning column at the expense of the Oklahoma Thunder. What a game by Lebron James, he made a season-high 40 points. OKC still played well but it was too late. OKC just couldn't stop the Lakers' momentum starting in the 2nd quarter and it was around 30 points lead in the 3rd quarter. This could be an off-night for OKC and the Lakers were on the road determined to end their losing streak. Still, OKC should learn from games like this. They need to be better, especially during the playoffs when they are facing teams that have deep experiences.

For sure the Los Angeles Lakers will have a hard time winning every game it is not because their opponent is hard to beat, or the Lakers are a struggling team, but it was because of LeBron James and Anthony Davis's ages as we all know LeBron James is turning 39 next year, and we don't know if he will still be the same, while both Anthony Davis and Bron James are prone to injuries so most if they are not playing in the court they are resting because of an injury so, for the most part, these two are not consistent in playing for sure they need all the help they can get and all the rest they can rest if they want their team to be consistent and that is if they have a deeper bench,

Indeed, he was one of their best players that played consistently with them, so missing him against one of the best teams in the NBA is really huge.

Here's his status, https://www.foxsports.com/nba/josh-giddey-player

He exit during the game with LA Clippers due to twisted ankle, but there was no report of a fracture or whatsoever, so I'm expecting that it's just a sprained ankle, he might miss few games but he'll come back for sure. I'm sure OKC won't struggle hard even without him, they are not like the Memphis though, but against strong teams, they will miss the service of Giddy. Hope he'll get back soon.

Josh Giddey can become a main player for the Oklahoma City Thunders, and if he continues to perform well, then he could surely help the Thunders in making it on the play-offs, but right now he needs to really rest a lot, but for sure because of him the Oklahoma City Thunders is consist of new players that are progressing a lot in this season,

-snip
Yeah, I watched the highlights of that game, and damn, Sabonis was a monster there. Triple-double, and then he did one more against the Timberwolves but sadly they lost. Defense is the difference, The Timberwolves are too big and with only Sabonis at the center, they are being punished in the rebounding section. Gobert made 21 points and 17 important rebounds and then Anthony Edwards made 34 while he kept on attacking the painted area. Their guards should start making more efforts on the defensive end too and help out Sabonis so that no one can enter the paint. 66 points in the paint for the Timberwolves while 52 only for the Kings.
One of their good guards with a better defense is out, Malik Monk, someone must fill that hole for him.

Then the Timberwolves are the Kryptonite for the Kings, well, even if Domantas Sabonis did a pretty much great performance it is not enough as the Minnesota Timberwolves have many big men on their team, and it is clear that they can not likely be winning even if Domantis Sabonis had a triple-double on this game it was not enough as the Timberwolves is one of the best defensive team in the NBA they are currently on the 3rd place so yeah the Sacramento Kings had a hard time keeping up to them,

JJJ is just way too different from the other rookies. This guy has a quick development and he's got a good foot work. Most of his attacks under they ring doesn't show that he's fearing these superstars and old veterans in the league.

I think that the Miami Heat took this guy on a steal and was able to scout properly. And an early achievement he's got as he's being named rookie of the month by Kia.

For sure the Memphis Grizzlies wanted the best players they could get and Jaren Jackson Jr. they got a steal when they picked him up since then he has helped along with Desmond Bane for the Grizzlies,

We have a new superstar has emerge in Miamia Heat.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. is gaining some minutes because coach Spo has seen his good contribution to the team. Their game against Hawks, he was really helping well despite their main players are playing great basketball ( special mention to Herro and Robinson). Heat not having Butler made me decide to bet on the other side, but I was wrong because the home team is sharing the ball well and they are playing with so much hassle, the heat culture thing, you know.

This game, Jaime Jaquez Jr. played 37 minutes and produced (19(pts)   7(rebounds) 1 (assist).

I think the other teams should play their new players or bench warmers more often just to gain experience inside the court and to get the feel of how to play in the NBA caliber game, just like what the Golden State Warriors are doing right now with their bench players and I think trading in Chris Paul into the Warriors has cemented them in creating a teacher for their new players and providing the team with great plays, and could become a great trade for the Warriors that many have doubted, for sure this is to really reshape the new players of the team and right now the Warriors have the best back up players this season,

Knowing coach Pop, he will notice that, and it will be fixed or we will see trades that will take place, I don't like that idea personally
in terms of not passing the ball if there's a design play for Wemby.

But if coach Pop is allowing it maybe they are trying to experiment, or those players are just trying to do different things from what is the suppose plays.

Let see if there are adjustments that will be done, though Spurs chance to move forward might be slim.

Many here are talking about the Warriors and other teams, but no one is talking about how the Clippers are playing right now.
Why is that?

I mean they just won against one of the best offensive teams right now in the league Indiana Pacers, and they're currently on an 8 game winning streak. They have a record of 13-2 in their last 15 games, and right now, they are in the top 5 in terms of defense, and offense which is quite rare nowadays. Everybody is talking about Harden and his acquisition, but aside from that, there are 3 reasons that I think the Clippers are playing better right now.

1. Westbrook's adjustment from being a starter to now a bench player. For me, this is the main reason why they're playing better now. 2 ball handlers can't be playing together at the same time, and it's a good thing that he adjusted for the betterment of the team. Now he's mentoring those young players, and he's willing to adjust if that means winning the title... or will they? Cheesy
2. Kawhi and PG are more healthy than they are. F*ck the load management. Now they're playing better already. Kawhi didn't miss any game while PG missed only 1 game. Now look where they are right now. They're better, and I just hope that either one of them will not get injured when the playoff comes.
3. Harden is back to his old self. I believe Harden is starting to come back to his old self already. Not the Harden when he's in the Rockets where he's a scorer, but the Harden we used to see when he was at Brooklyn, and Philly. The passer-type Harden and this is a good thing for the Clippers.

The chemistry is starting to build up already, and we've seen it in their past games. The only question right now is will they sustain this type of performance until the end of the season? If they will play like this all throughout the whole season, I believe they will be at the top 4 at least. Smiley

I agree with you and the Los Angeles Clippers really are looking great well the Russell Westbrook adjustment well it's about time and he then just realized this, and this is the real reason why he was cast out by the Los Angeles Lakers, for being like that but right now it is really a good thing that he adjusted and if the Los Angeles Clippers would be needing him he will surely play great in times that they need him just like when PG and Kawhi can not play,

Speaking of Kawhi Leonard how long he will be playing sure he would devise a great excuse again so he wouldn't play for a couple of games, while Paul George if he can stay healthy, when these two are playing the Los Angeles Clippers is looking like they can not lose a match but because of issues and health problems they are in a pinch because of that

While James Harden is really great when the two Leonard and George are out he has proven that he can sustain the team by himself and he has restarted the time to the James Harden he used to be, I think that is great and with the new players for the Clippers and the advice of Westbrook for the team the Los Angeles Clippers is really looking good this season,

Nah, they won't win against the Brooklyn, they are on the road which they only have won 1 of the 13 games, while the Brooklyn is a pretty decent team with Cam Thomas back in the line up. Honestly, I think it will be a blowout loss again for them, and they don't need to worry about getting roasted by the fans as the fans are not interested in them anymore due to their long losing streak.

And you are right against the Brooklyn Nets that have Mikal Bridge and Cam Thomas look really great and against a team that is in the bottom and only has 2 wins they should be thinking of just quitting for sure as the Brooklyn Nets is a surreal team that can have a great output and with that game from start to finish the Brooklyn Nets is leading all the way, for sure the worst team this season is the Detroit Piston and fans aren't loving it they also made a poster to sell the team instead, that was really cruel hopefully the Detroit Piston will find their way back next season,
