Looks like the NBA made the decision to suspend Draymond for 5 games for his choke on Rudy Gobert. Honestly, I was expecting at least a 6 game suspension, but the NBA is pretty lenient when it comes to fighting (in my opinion). Draymond has a long history of this though, so I would’ve liked to have seen him get a little bit longer of a suspension.

I absolutely agree with you, there should be a deterrent, 5 games is too little for Draymond Green, I was expecting 7-8 games because what he did is really serious. The penalties for this kind of behavior should increase exponentially.

A couple of good matchups being televised on ESPN tonight. First up you have the Boston Celtics vs the Philadelphia 76ers. Both have an 8-2 record so that will be a good matchup. Then you have the 2 best teams in California right now, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings facing off. Both should be great games to watch, but I’ll stay away from making any bets.

Lakers and Sacramento will be a good match up today. I thought it would be a good idea to bet over 230+ for this game since both team are on fire coming out of a fresh W dropping 130+ for each of their respective opponent. Both Lakers and Sacramento shot over 55%, but the Lakers were hotter in shooting outside the arc with over 60% fg made. I think the Lakers could still continue with their hot streak despite of their back to back game, since LeBron, AD, and most of their starting lineups were well rested late in the 3rd until the 4th quarter. What you guys think? lol

Looking at the odds, the Lakers are the underdog, so just by then numbers, it's a good bet on them at ML. However, the gap is not that big though, 1.84 for Sacramento and 2.01 for Lakers. It's definitely a high scoring game, as this two teams are known to have a very fast pace game.

Lakers is good playing at home, they are 5-0, while the Kings are 1-3 away from home.

So yeah, I think it's a good bet on the Lakers and the odds are very appealing to say the least. It might be very close game, who knows, maybe this game will go into overtime, hehehe.

Oh man! the over 230+ bet was a good one, but the Laker on ML just lost. It was actually a good analysis, considering the Lakers did not lose in their homecourt (this is the first one). Didn't end up in a close game though, but still a high scoring game. AD just cant play a good back to back game. People are binging the AD curse up again for not being able to be consistent in a back to back game lol. Sabonis just dominated AD with 16 boards and 29 pts, while AD just had 9 and 9. Huerter is the X-factor of this team for being a consistent and efficient scorer. A good team effort and W for the Kings. I was actually being doubtful for the Lakers to win this game especially that the Kings has been a better team than the Lakers (3-1 last season) especially when Fox is playing.

Draymond keeps causing problems in three straight games making it hard for the Golden State Warriors. Instead of helping he's becoming a negative influence. Maybe it's time for him to retire and sort things out. As a Warriors fan it's tough to support his actions and it seems like he's not good for the league. I think suspending Draymond Green for 5 days is fair. His recent behavior on the court needs a timeout to keep things in check and maintain a positive sports environment.

Harden just can't accept the disaster he brought to LA. If he gets out and does not help fix the problem, that would result in a bad reputation for him, which is not good considering he is still a high-paid player. So, next time he signs a contract, he might get a lower salary than Westbrook.
He's aware of that and there's no other way to go but to just play with the team and be the better him. Get alongside together with the other key players and then help the team to get wins. Attitude beats talent and that's what he's going to get with that type of mentality and actions he's bringing to the team. He's expected to bring the very best of him and contribute to the team but that's not happening as we can see.

What we heard probably is just part of their frustrations.
A frustration indeed but if it gets serious and that leak is for real, there can be some issues again for the LAC and to him.

A team that is consistent in the playoffs is currently on a long losing streak. It's really frustrating, but they could end that slump once they beat the Rockets in their next game.
Meta is changing and these players who have been considered superstars really don't get along properly. A team that's with this roster should be on the top but that's not happening because everything has changed now with the league if it's about these roster shuffles. I'd still say that chemistry is way better than of combination of superstars.

Sacramento has proved once again that the Kings are the best team in California. Sabonis absolutely manhandled Anthony Davis, showing that Davis is soft and will never be the player the Lakers thought he would be. If you asked me 2 years ago if the Kings would ever be the best team in California I would have said not for a long time, but that’s clearly the case now.

Is that true that James Harden wanted out of the Clippers in just 5 games? or is this a rumor?
It's said that it's for real but not until it's official, then it remains as a rumor. But you know with these locker room conversations, most of them are real.

That's better than just 1 game. Well, no matter how many games the suspension will be for Dray, it's not going to matter anymore to him. He's always this aggressive and that's usual.

Draymond has a long history of this though, so I would’ve liked to have seen him get a little bit longer of a suspension.
Yeah, much better if it's tougher because he's known for brawls like this and his attitude toward these troubles. But then, if it's already decided then that's much better than having lesser suspension at all. Is there any fine that's going to be sanctioned to him? With these fights, usually they get higher sanctions and fines, right?

It looks like this may be an easy win for the Suns, as they already lead by 22 points after the end of the first half. By the way, Durant has already scored 17 points, and Booker has scored 18 points. The other Suns players are also performing well, while the Wolves have only KAT and Edwards, who are trying to do something against them.

28 points difference before last quarter, even if Suns don't score any in last 12 minutes Timberwolves still can't win. That's how easy for Suns tonight. I would've expected a reaction from Twolves but they accepted this loss. That wasn't Edwards' night for sure. Durant and Booker kept it tight from the start and won't have to work extra.

Anyway, tonight we are going to see the Suns finally playing their big 3 together. They'll be facing the Wolves, and let's see if they can start a winning streak. Currently, they are on a 2-game losing streak, but it should end tonight.

Minny are probably tired due to their successive games, while the Suns have some good rest and they welcome back booker again. Actually, Beal is not on the line up, probably he was just resting as the coaching staff is making sure they'll manage their players effectively. A win is a win though, entering 4th quarter they have a lead of 28 points, no way Minny would be able to come back for this.

Both teams played last minutes awful, except Jalen Brunson. Knicks got the win in the end. That was important when they play without Barrett. Randle and Quickley were okay. Hawks may have the deepest rotation in the league as Saddiq Bey said but this wasn't enough tonight. Bogdanovic had a good night, he had a fairly good chance to go overtime but that shot selection was pretty bad.

I missed betting on the Celtics and the Sixers game but it has turned to be another good match. Boston about to extend their win streak to 4.

Fair enough, what he did was unacceptable, so he has to learn a lesson from that. Now, the Warriors will struggle more as they lose one of their key players. Draymond should have thought of that before he made that stupid choking gesture.
I had to laugh at the "learn a lesson". I mean how many lessons is he going to learn from since he's had plenty of altercations already. I bet the guy wouldn't change and I don't expect him to move smarter now that he's almost nearing the end of his career.

I also think 5 games is fair. Everything happening in real time and I believe he acted accordingly but his mistake was he held that choke for too long. He should have released that after Gobert released his hold on Klay.

I think that's fair though, 5 games is enough for Draymond to be out and think about the consequences of his action if he really wanted to help the Warriors to be great again. He has a lot of technical fouls already and being a veteran, he should have known better that this kind of actions are not going to help them specially that they have been struggling as of late.

Is that true that James Harden wanted out of the Clippers in just 5 games? or is this a rumor? That's a waste of money from the Clippers trying to get him or even in the part of Sixers to execute that trade because Harden wanted out of them. Anyhow, I don't think that this is true though, not defending Harden but maybe there are people just trying to create negative news about him.

TBH, this rumor is huge. Just after 5 games, he wants to get out of the Clippers already? Like I said, I will not be surprised if no other team wants him anymore after his contract this season because of attitude problems. It's my first time hearing that the Saudi Pro League wants him to play, and it's funny. Cheesy
Who was that guy in the Mavs that commentated about this thing with Harden? He just said the reality of what should sink in with Harden. This is an attitude problem that teams shouldn't condone. If he wants already out of the team after just few games, he's messing around and soon it won't be surprising if no teams want to take him.

I remember some players that have retired because no teams want to take them anymore and he could be on that position as well as his retirement will go too early. But even with that, he'll just take the money with him and the contract until it expires. I'm not sure if the $900M deal is also for real in Saudi Arabia.

But it seems that it's just like a bluff because of how fun it is going with Harden. Honestly, there are two players in my eyes that are becoming the memes material these days, one is Harden, second is Poole.

Teams take time to get a flow going. They may lose 10 and something click and they go on a streak. Denver is red hot but they took a loss tonight too, nothing is guaranteed.

You're damn right. Teams take time to really get together, if they must win games then they must get to bond.
Most games might be lost in the process of bonding or while they're yet to get to know themselves and especially when they have new team mates but once they've consolidated, they might play with the same team as yesterday and give them good class lessons.

When we are talking about "fighting" in NBA, not that many players throw punches, this is as hardcore as it gets. Draymond Green didn't do himself justice by keeping Gobert in headlock for that long, I understand wanting to protect your teammate, but you should just push or hold somewhere else, like grab Gobert by the waist and pull him away, that could make sense, there were many other players there that separated the fight, none of them did a headlock, look at all the players on the court, they are all trying to separate Klay but nobody gave another player headlock, that's not how it works.

Draymond "may" had the good intentions, like protect your friend, but headlock, and for that long, wasn't the way to do it. It's famously known that Draymond is a dirty player, he was the reason why Warriors lost a whole title, because he kept on kicking others, dude is a dirty player through and through, and this was one of those moments when he did what he does, and I hope he gets at least a few games suspension.
Was interested in this game last night since I had a wager on the under and Timberwolves to win but didn't expect to see what I saw in the first frame of the game when I tuned in.
Seeing Draymond, Klay Thompson and a player from Minnesota getting ejected from the game.
I missed the incident but turned to the game just when Klay was arguing with the referee and throwing a jersey or towel when he got the toss out of the game. Looked at the timeclock and it was just 2 minutes into the game with the score 0-0.
So they must of been just fighting on the court most of the time. Seen Klay got his shirt ripped and Draymond putting Gobert into a headlock.
Looked more like a scene from the UFC instead of the NBA from last night. But we are still midweek and not into the weekend yet for fighting.
These In-Season tournament games seem to be more about getting technical fouls than basketball like the regular season games ought to be like.

It needs to be a Clippers team and not just Harden, the thing is that they are trying to revolve around James and he's the newcomer and I don't think that will fit in. That's totally an offensive arsenal but I don't think it will work out to the very end, they are good when he's not there but right now it looks like a noob team.

But they are figuring it out and still haven't found a solution yet. It has already cost them a 5-game losing streak, which calls for desperate measures.
Probably, Coach Tyronn Lue is just trying this last option. You know, no player would be able to play happily if he is not being himself. That's why he wants James Harden to be himself and see the outcome of his game affecting the team.
I read a RUMOR on Facebook regarding what's happening with them in the locker room and apparently:

Let Harden play off the bench instead.

Or it could be Westbrook. Either one of them could still play as a PG, so it's a coaching staff prerogative. Whoever is effective should be in the starting lineup.
If I were to pick between the 2, I would rather choose Westbrook to play off the bench.
Harden will not accept that role. Not with how high his ego is. Westbrook at least tried to play off the bench already when he was with the Lakers, and some time with the Clippers, but Harden? Since he became an all-star, he didn't start off the bench anymore, and he doesn't want that role.

Not sure if this has really been discussed her or not yet..but what do you all think about the Zach Lavine rumors?  As a Chicago Bulls fan, I think we got the better of the Jimmy Butler/Lavine trade, and he's been a fun and exciting player to watch these past few years, but it's time to blow it up.  Lavine is not good enough to be a teams leading star, and would fit much better as a number 2 or 3 option.  The Bulls aren't heading anywhere with this team, so time to move on a rebuild.  Thoughts?  Also what teams do you guys think he'd be a good fit for?
Not exciting TBH like the Lillard, or the Harden trade saga.

It's pretty obvious that the Bulls are like an average team even though they have stars like Vucevic, DeRozan, and Lavine. Both Lavine and the Bulls are exploring for potential teams that want him. The Lakers, and the Heat are the top teams that can get him, but TBH, it's pretty hard to know which teams are interested in him because we might see some other teams who are talking with their front office privately.

Harden curse is real but I don't know the articles that are popping everywhere are true about him ranting on the locker room and even Kawhi didn't skip that part of his.

Dray is like the gangster of the team and he's ready to go all in if ever one of his brothers get in trouble. But his approach is wrong while there's no real danger on it, he's the one that brings danger to the team and to the ones he thought brought danger.

What's the decision on him, will he get some few games of suspension?
