The "highlight" of the night was Detroit in Boston, almost getting the upset of the season after leading by 19 at halftime. But no surprise they fell apart in the 3rd and somehow got OT before falling for the 28th time in a row.

If they ended the streak in Boston, that would have been something and another funny story.
But lucky they didn't and the streak is alive.

Go on guys, keep making history.  Grin

Almost... but didn't happen. I had a feeling at the start of third quarter Pistons would lose this again. When Bogdanovic made the game go to overtime I thought maybe they have another chance but their overtime performance was terrible. It would've been an ironic win over Boston, which is unbeaten at home but the losing streak continues. They are not playing that badly but they still can't win. It has become a psychological thing. I think San Antonio is worse than them as a team, but even they have 5 wins.

And the thing that hurt is that there are games that they could have won, I mean they play good in the first quarter or the first half. And then they will just mentality collapse and it become their story as most of their losing streak is like that game.

So it's really frustration from everyone, coaches, players, management and fans.
That's true, some games the Pistons could have won.
Even in this game against the Celtics at the end In the first half, I was surprised by Detroit's performance, I couldn't believe the feat they were accomplishing, but in the third quarter they lost and the Pistons players psychology only got worse... after all, I imagine they are shaken and are playing under extreme pressure, and this will only affect the chemistry between the players.

Well, the Pistons next game will be against the Raptos in Detroit, I believe that game will be less difficult than the Celtics, but as I said before, unfortunately the mentality and psychology of the Piston players are compromised and I have no doubt that this could be a determining factor in the outcome of this game.

Yeah, and I think they will have good rest and it might be a big improvement that they didn't lost by double digits and they have a great chance winning at Boston in their own homecourt. So maybe in their next game against the visiting Raptors, if they have the same energy, chances are high for them.

At least we heard a lot of good praises for pushing the Celtics in a brink of losing this one.

Maybe it's the mentality, but the coach and the players themselves believed that they can do it the next time.

That was a game in Boston tonight. The Celtics almost got caught lacking as the Detroit Pistons took them into overtime. I thought they were going to beat the odds and bring and end to their losing streak but tonight wasn’t meant to be the night as they couldn’t hold on in overtime. They ended up losing 122-128 to the relief of Celtics fans.
It's like the entire world has watched to this game of Celtics and Pistons. Yeah, we all thought that it's going to be Boston Celtics that will end Pistons losing streak but that was just another crucial moment and even led to an overtime. We will see if the Raptors is going to be the team that will help Pistons to end their losing streak. I guess this series is becoming more fun and Pistons is getting more viewership on this time despite the negative situation that they're having right now due to the losing streak saga. Maybe they can convert this situation into a more profitable scene through viewership, no other thing than that.

The Detroit Pistons is composed mostly of young players. Even playing for 31 games by now this season, looks like they are not still used to playing pressure games against a dominant team. If they won against the Celtics, I can't imagine how much money those bettors would take home if they bet on Pistons money line.

The Pistons are now on a 28-losing streak. What an embarrassment. But for bettors, it's worth placing a bet for them on their next consecutive games as expect a decent odds for them in Moneyline. I hope they will continue to lose until they meet the Golden State Warriors. I'm expecting a juicy odds form them and I want to risks some.

A few more weeks before the trade deadline. It seems like the Lakers know their chances against the top teams as they are pursuing trades aggressively. So according to the odds, the Lakers are likely to acquire Dejounte Murray from Atlanta. I don't know what assets the Lakers can offer but the team has a decent roster except that they lost their future first draft picks already in the previous trades.

Some people on social media are saying Lebron should be part of the trade which is impossible. It's not even a surprise if it's Lebron pressuring the management to acquire other stars or better talents while he is still playing at a high level.

Also the Warriors losing 2 games again and they look shit. Curry take sometime to digest it after the game, maybe he is really frustrated in today's result.

The Warriors could not win games by just shooting 24 percent in the rainbow country. That's where they live and die, for tonight they were just 8/33, they were outscored by the Heat in that department and also in the paint, Heat scoring 60 while the Warriors only have 50.

I just read an article saying the Miami Heat were working on trade negotiations to get Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers.  With how well the Clippers are playing as of late I can't imagine they would want to break up the team now, unless something is going on behind the scenes.  Kawhi looks as happy as I've ever seen him lately and the team is winning a lot of games lately...  I pasted a link to the article below.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-trade-rumors-miami-heat-negotiates-for-kawhi-leonard-with-la-clippers-potential-deal-involving-kyle-lowry-and-duncan-robinson/ar-AA1m9KXY

What do you think?  Are the Clippers ready to break up the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard experiment already?

Not sure though, I mean as the saying goes, don't fix it if it broken. So currently Kawhi is the leader of the Clippers and he is putting good numbers so far. And it 's also interesting that the Heat is going to offer Lowry and Robinson?

There's no many guards already in Clippers with Westbrook and Harden, so I don't think they will likely accept that the trade will have Lowry.

Robinson is not what he used to be with the Heat when he was one of the core during this championship finals against the Lakers. He has somewhat lost in the rotation and it did affect his performance and his shooting touch.

^ It's a rough night for the Warriors, specially Steph Curry who in his second game didn't score in the first quarter so he has a off night shooting. Couple that with Kuminga and Klay Thompson as well. So their winning streak at 8 in Chase center has been snapped by the Heat.

That was a game in Boston tonight. The Celtics almost got caught lacking as the Detroit Pistons took them into overtime. I also thought that the Pistons are going to win here against Boston. They really give everything in their game, and even at 1:30 minutes to, when Celtics are all celebrating because of KP's 3 and having a 6 point lead, the Pistons didn't give up and Bog has big follow up to tie the score. And then they play defense on Tatum and force the game into overtime. But in was a different story in overtime as they can't match up with the Celtics intensity.

Lakers will host Hornets. That should be an easy game for Lakers. Anthony Davis is having a good season, the last time he dropped 40 but they lost to Celtics. Now they should play easier game and won't have too much trouble. LeBron is making near triple-double stats as well.
Nuggets will host Grizzlies. They are tired, coming from Pelicans away game which finished in overtime. I believe Nuggets will win this one if they can lock Morant.

The Hornets have eight straight losses at the moment. So, this should be an easy win for the Lakers.
As for the Grizzlies, I didn't expect their performance to change so much after Morant's return. However, they are still at the bottom of the standings, and it's unlikely to get any better after today's match because the Nuggets are a strong opponent. I would even say insurmountable opponent for the Grizzlies at the moment.

Yes, the Lakers also won the game.

I think the story is about the game between Pistons and the Celtics. Detroit has a big chance to win that game and even forces an OT. But the Celtics doesn't want to be the team that the Pistons will beat to end their losing streak.

Also the Warriors losing 2 games again and they look shit. Curry take sometime to digest it after the game, maybe he is really frustrated in today's result.

Mavericks is still digesting yesterday's loss. They are struggling today against a tougher opponent. Without Kyrie and Dončić, it already seemed difficult for them to win.
Edwards and Gobert are playing very well. Towns didn't have much to do. Timberwolves will pull this game out in the second half.

Yeah without Luka the Mavs are a lost cause. That's over 30 points missing, plus the rebounds and assists, basically no chance for them.

What do you think?  Are the Clippers ready to break up the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard experiment already?
No, I don't see this happening. It's only my opinion though.

The Clippers are playing very well this season, and they already have the momentum that they need since they acquired James Harden. I mean why break the core of the team if they're playing better already. We are seeing a healthy Kawhi Leonard this season, and it's the first he has been after years of that sh*tty load management.

I don't see the Clippers breaking the core knowing that all of them are healthy. It's just my opinion though because we know that anything can happen in the NBA including trading one of their superstars out of nowhere. Cheesy

And the streak continues for the Detroit Pistons as they lost their 28th straight against the Celtics 128-126.

At one point, the Pistons were up by 21 points, and I thought that they would take care of that already until the end of the game, but it seems like they just choked. TBH, I didn't expect the game to end that close, and what I didn't expect is it would go to overtime. The Celtics are 0-3 coming to that overtime, and they just got their first overtime win this season. That Derrick White's three in the final 2 minutes of the game is the dagger because that shot gave them a 4-point lead.

Who will bet for the Pistons here reach 30-game losing streak?  Grin Grin

Actually this season LA lakers and hornets, both played badly. LA lakers despite many star players with expensive salaries such as lebron james and antony davis but still have not shown spurs. until now LA lakers are still ranked 9th in the western conference. while the hornets are even worse still ranked 13th in the eastern conference.

As a Turkish person Alperen Sengun is exciting the whole nation that is interested in basketball. In our culture basketball is great, I mean not as much as football maybe, but basketball is definitely a good second. And anyone here that is interested in basketball is following Alperen like a hawk, we are really interested in the all-star voting and doing as much as we can to vote for him daily. Not that it means he will get it, of course there is a chance we may fail and he may not get it, but not like he is way too far away, even if he is not in the rosters, which there is still a chance, I am %99.99 sure that he would be either first or second backup, he is very very close to being in as well or maybe already in. That is an awesome development for a 21 year old kid.

Meanwhile, the Pistons, the main underdogs of this regular season, lost once again, and their losing streak reached 27 games. Ironically, their next game will be against the Celtics, and it's obvious that the Pistons will have no chance to win that game. Thus, we can already say that the Pistons will repeat the 76ers' record and most likely even surpass it.

The Detroit Pistons are the laughing stock in the NBA right now for being the worst team in the history of the NBA. They are even being ridiculed that they people don't think they can easily win against the Las Vegas Aces. That next game against the Celtics would be an automatic 28 losses. The Celtics are on fire right now and there's no way they can lose against the worst team otherwise those who take the risk in putting a bet against the Celtics would get a huge win.

I don't know what's going on with the Pistons, I mean they have got young talent. Ivey, Duren, and Cunningham and they even got Bogdanovic who is an offensive threat. I think they need to change the coaching staff.

Yeah it's gotten pretty bad over there but to say they couldn't beat the aces is laughable.  They would absolutely destroy the aces.  They lost by 6 points against the Nets it's not like they are losing by 50 points every game.  Either way I do hope they get it together it's not good for the NBA having a team this bad.

And with that, they are 10:1 underdog against the Boston Celtics in this game, -15.5 initial line of betting. I haven't seen this kind of huge line, maybe except in the Olympics or maybe some Asian game. But now the line is getting worst for the Pistons that it's really ridiculous to bet on them.

Not just the coaching staff though, they need to change their mentality and think that they can win night in night out. The thing is that when their opponents take a lead, they don't have the heart to chase it and make a comeback.
