Meanwhile , Clippers are having 3 victories in a row and by the way they play , I think the 4th one will come too.  Cool
Westbrook coming off the bench has been working so far. There were reports that he personally requested to be "relegated" from his starting role so the team could start playing better and winning. It's not that I'm surprised with the decision to sacrifice but kudos to him if that's what really happened.
Yes totally agree. This is because Russell Westbrook gave up being in the starting lineup. Also don't forget Daniel Theis really help Clippers! 20+ points in 21 mins. However, they only won against weaker teams specifically the Rockets and had back to back wins against the San Antonio Spurs.

We'll find out if the LA Clippers are really strong in the next fnour games Pelicans, Mavericks, Nugget and Kings.

I wouldn't label the Rockets as a weak team; they're sitting pretty at number 8 with a win rate above .500. The Spurs, on the other hand, seem to be in a bit of a rut, struggling to find their winning ways. But let's see how it unfolds. The Clippers are going head-to-head with the Pels, Zion's crew, who've been on a roll with 4 out of 5 wins in their last games. Things are about to get interesting starting this game.

They've definitely upped their game this season compared to the past when they were stuck in a consistent tanking phase. The Rockets have shown big improvement, as reflected in their current ranking, (i think they are at rank 5 before the lose streak).... Although they faced a three-game losing streak on the road, they managed to bounce back with a win at home. It's still early days, and their performance might fluctuate throughout the season.

The Clippers had also experience the struggles, especially when Harden joined the mix, but now they're enjoying a three-game winning streak.

Regardless of the teams they faced, that's something to be happy about.

Westbrook ditched his pride ages ago, even taking a smaller contract this season to free up space for team improvements. Now, with Harden in the lineup, it seems like his sacrifices are finally paying dividends. Since they started notching up those wins, you can see their experiment is on the brink of success. I'm not jumping to conclusions; before that three-game winning streak, they were stuck in a six-game losing slump with Harden. Their current standing at number 10 with a 6-7 win-loss record isn't exactly impressive yet.

Wemby and Chet are both in a good spot as they are getting the playing time they need to explore the league, with more experienced
with more game time they will be able to adjust.
I think we've already seen wat Chet can provide to his team, I mean, he isn't the best player in the team so he has some limited opportunity compared to Wemby. And as we all know, Wemby is view as the best player of the team, but this big man is actually struggling now, his team hasn't won games after a back to back win against the Suns.

Maybe from what we are seeing it's Chet who is really getting the advantage as OKC is really performing and he's bringing his game be noticeable.

I like how the coach gives him the trust and he's really not wasting anything both on offense and defense, he's really adding to the team's overall performances.

There's a big difference as Chet isn't the main scorer, while Wemby is the main scorer for his team, so if the basis is only on the production, Wemby might have an upper hand.

I don't know, I don't think that Wemby is the main scorer as well with the Spurs, there are a some players in the roster that can score. But nevertheless, it could be a close match for the ROY between the two, Chet is coming out this season and he had made that one good game wherein he scored the winning basket.

And with the Spurs struggling, maybe it can affect Wemby's chances as those who are going to vote might look at how he contribute to the team.

Lakers though, with the same pattern at home, they like to play catch up and let the team pull a big lead and then going in the 4th, they will do a catch-up. But it's not going to be winnable for them all the team.

Its total team performance can give them a best shot so most provably at the moment Chet got more high advantage to win the ROTY since Spurs is really in bad shape. To many good things happening on OKC roster and they make each other as a better player so provably it can affect the performance of Chet that's why many convince that he became more better for now and can take that trophy against Wemby.

To bad for Wemby he's potential is not enough since he's teammates is not really consistent that's why they lost multiple times. This need to fix up since if they lose more again then it will lessen up more the chance for their star to win a ROTY this season.

I was one click away to place a bet on Pacers and I'm glad I didn't do it because I said to myself that his team is always swinging between good performances and bad performances but last night I think it was just bad luck for them vs Raptors who is a team that really loves to play offensive basketball but also they don't focus a lot on defense.
Any team had a shot at taking the win in that match 'cause everything was neck and neck in the final quarter. You know, Indiana racks up the points big time, but they're not exactly defensive team. They only took an L by a single point, but they had the upper hand and could've clinched that W. That -2.5 spread turned out to be a bookies trap, I guess. I mean, they won their last game before that showdown, playing on their homecourt, and the spread seemed like a  not hard to cover. So, pretty much everyone was banking on the home team, I reckon.

Meanwhile , Clippers are having 3 victories in a row and by the way they play , I think the 4th one will come too.  Cool

We're pretty sure they'd school the slumping Spurs, but the real test is whether they can pull off a win against a playoff-caliber squad.

I also prefer Chet to win. I'm planning to make a bet on him while it's still 2.50. Wemby is at 1.50 so I am not surprised if he will really take the ROTY knowing he has all the time to pump his stats. There's also a big difference when it comes to the coaches since OKC's mission is to win and get into the playoffs as deep as possible. While the other coach is fully giving his time to Wemby.

Next season should be another interesting one in terms of these 2 players. But I expect OKC to become a better team that is capable of becoming NBA champions while San Antonio starts building players fit Wemby.

Chet is on the right team as they are on a mission, not just to make the playoffs but to be competitive once they are in the playoffs. With SGA playing the way he is and Chet making significant contributions, this OKC team is stronger than last season, and they've gained valuable experience. On the other hand, Wemby's hype might persist, but it's hard to ignore that his numbers aren't living up to the fans' expectations anymore.

OKC is now second in the Western Conference and is on a 6-win streak. Chet is in a better team but he also has tougher surroundings since he needs to continue stepping up his game or he won't get the playing time or trust on their plays.

Meanwhile, Wemby and the Spurs are now on a 10-game losing streak. I expect the streak to reach 12 since they'll be traveling next to San Francisco and Denver in their next 2 games. The season is still young though, win or lose Wemby's stats have a good chance of improving while he is also gaining NBA experience and lessons.

Coach Pop grabbing the mic to tell the crowd in San Antonio to quit booing Kawhi was pretty crazy. Even the announcers commented that they’d never seen anything like that before. Good on coach Pop to have the crowd show some class. Also nice to see the Clippers putting together a winning streak after their rough start.
Yes, you have to commend coach Pop for calling a spade a spade, it's already been years since Kawhi has left the Spurs and coach Pop has nothing ill about Leonard living them. On the other hand, Kawhi became one of the best after his stint with San Antonio and won a ring with the Raptors.

It seems that the Clippers have settled down, after a rant by their announcer. They have responded already. But I guess, we will have to see them against the best team in either conference, not saying that Spurs is bad, but they are now in the cellar even though they have the best Rookie so far.

Congrats LeBron for 39k points. It's always nice to witness this kind of record. I'm sure we'll see 40k points before he retires.

LeBron's current contract ends after the 24/25 season, and this is most likely the last contract of his career. In other words, LeBron will play in the NBA for at least two more seasons, including the current regular season, which means he's going to break the 40k point mark anyway. Personally, I expect LeBron will have 42-43k points by the time he decides to end his career.

If things will not go according to his plan and he get injuries then maybe he would think about retirement. But if he's plan will come together and still he can dominate in the floor then maybe that contract will be extended especially if he can play with his kid since this is speculated to happen by LBJ fans.

Also for sure at the end of his current contract he might break more record so for sure we can see more greatness and we should enjoy it since once this guy retires we might don't see a same like him. Lebron might get that 42k-43k point miles stone but above 40k is already fine since this is already hard to break by any current player .

First time I saw something like that happen. Respect to Coach Pops. He ain't afraid the San Antonio fans might boo him after. Cheesy Other coaches would just let it go but I think Kawhi is also like a son to him who gave him one ring and the San Antonio fans too, a thank you would be enough rather than boos.

Anyway, the former champions Denver Nuggets seem to be having a hard time winning their games. Just 2 wins out of their last 6 which I don't think is a good number. They are trying to build Julian Strawther's confidence but what they really need is Jamal Murray to be back. I think it's going to take one more week before the star point guard will be in Nuggets uniform again.
Orlando Magic played well with Franz Wagner leading the offense with 27 points and 23 points for Paolo Banchero. But the real star on the crucial part is Cole Anthony, those last critical possessions that he made were the big reason for the Magic win.

Warriors on the other hand are back to losing. Well, I wish they can somehow create some confidence to win against the San Antonio Spurs next.

I think if he can avoid injuries he’ll probably do 2 more seasons. Maybe 3 more after this year if he can continue playing at a high level. Statistically, I think it’s assists he’s really trying to get up. He has potential to be #2 all time if he became more of a passer. What we saw from him tonight isn’t it though. He lost the game with that poorly placed alley-oop attempt to AD.

The sad thing though is that even Coach Pop did that thing, the fans didn't stop boo-ing Kawhi, and it seems like they are also boo-ing to Coach Pop himself as well. What a display of immaturity if you will ask me. Some players get traded, and when they return to their old team, they are being recognized and sometimes they create a video for him, but not on Kawhi. Anyway, Kawhi didn't care about them and did his thing. Scored 26 points to lead the Clippers to their 3rd win streak while the Spurs are now on a 10-game losing streak.

What's happening with the league right now? Washington is on a 7-game losing streak, San Antonio is on a 10-game losing streak, Portland was on an 8-game losing streak (it ended just a few hours ago when they won against the Jazz), and the worst is Detroit is now on a 12-game losing streak. I mean I know that these teams were once at the bottom also last season, but at least they need to win at least one out of their 3-4 games, and not to have a losing streak like this.

OKC is now second in the Western Conference and is on a 6-win streak. Chet is in a better team but he also has tougher surroundings since he needs to continue stepping up his game or he won't get the playing time or trust on their plays.

In the East, we've used to see teams like Boston, and Milwaukee that are on the top. In the West, is it pretty normal to see teams like Minnesota, and Oklahoma City to be at the top? Cheesy
The last time I saw OKC at the top was when Russ, KD, and a young Harden were there when they were still a playoff team.

It might be too early, but with Chet coming back, many expected for OKC to play better this season. The only thing that I didn't expect is that they are playing way better than our expectations. Currently on a 6 game-winning streak, if the OKC plays like this all throughout the season, I will choose their coach Mark Daigneault for Coach of the Year. As for the Spurs, no comment about them anymore. Cheesy

Bucks and Celtics game was wild. Celtics looks like the best team in the league right now. It was Jaylen Brown's night. Tatum was sick but still played. There were parts of the game where Celtics constantly dominated, from Hauser to Porzingis, and Brown last. That was the first time Jrue Holiday played against his old team. Even though Celtics led the whole game, Dame Time tried his best for a comeback. This scared Celtics a little bit but Bucks' luck ran out with that missed dunk. It was a good match. Celtics is going 6-0 at home.
