This is a highly welcomed development or innovation if that's the best word to use here, it brings an extra level of competition amongst the team and you can see that the teams have taken it the tournament quite serious too because it somewhat prepares them not just for the post season elimination game since it's a one game per team in the group and also single elimination round after that too, and the season is way too long just for the post season game alone, while the All Stars weekend is just some boring competition that no player even takes serious. The awards such as MVPs, team of the tournament that and a title makes it a really worthwhile and would drive extra revenues and viewership too!

So right now, the Lakers are inconsistent again, they don't need to do catch up games, they need to play full 4 quarters.

Harden is who he is. Great offensive player but boring to watch. He is a foul merchant and plays to get to the line. His vision is special. His feeds to zuboc were awesome. Defensively he is a liability and lazy. He plays defense for the first minute or 2 on the court then when he gets into game mode it's back to sitting back and letting his teammates do the work.

With that being said my first real good look at wemby tonight when they play the Knicks. Excited to see him play.

Yeah, nothing spectacular but looked great to me. New York Knicks has always been solid and the expectation from us is always met by them. They just keep on upgrading every season.

Heat no contest did great. Lakers was so close on that game but it's not that enough at all. Last like season, it's not a good start for them and I think they've got a better start this time unlike last year, right? Because last year before they even get their first win, I think it took them a lot of losses first before having that.

But this time, they're like the other teams that are on the record of 3-4 and that's not that bad at all as they start this season. So, that's why I am saying that they've got a better start this time than the last.

Much better that Dame was transferred in the Bucks and not with Heat. Heat is already composed and a balance team IMHO, they've got scorers and defenders and their defender and big man is even a scorer. Those very last moments of the game was crucial and I think the talked last pass and buzzer beater of Lebron James was all planned by Darvin Ham.

It's all in the coaching board drawn on how they're going to end the game but it didn't end properly. It's being argued that James should have given that pass to Austin and that's pretty much better. But anyway, they do what they have to do because they're all tasked and instructed as they are but it's still different if we're going to talk about basketball IQ.

I think it could be one of the most watch games, or at least the hype on Wemby is real and so fans can't wait to see him to play. Good exposure for him and the Spurs against a good team in the Knicks. Spurs though, a huge underdog as far as betting goes.

As for the Warriors vs the Nuggets, yes, it's going to be great match up as well. For sure the Warriors are waiting for this game, they want to test themselves against the defending champion. Lots of bodies going to be thrown on Jokic, number one will be Draymond, and then Looney and Saric, so let's see if they can match against the best big man we have today. Also, good matchup against Murray against Klay and Steph Curry. Denver favorites at 1.69 against the Warriors 2.39.

This might cause a problem for the Grizz this season, starting off 0-6 but luckily they got 1 against the Blazers. But against the Heat, this is going to be 1-7 most probably.
What an unfortunate moment for the team to have 9 players being injured all at the same time. It would be ridiculous if they injured another one. The next 10 opponents for the Grizz after the heat is going to be hard for them.
The Jazz may have the 2nd worst standing in the West but they were beaten by 20+ pts the last time they played.
Let's see how they will bounce back from such a bad start.

Some good matchups today but the main game for ESPN is the Knicks and Spurs. A pretty terrible matchup in my opinion but it’s a chance to get a good look at Wemby on national tv. Anthony Davis is injury-prone, and that's a fact that everyone is used to, as he has never played all 82 regular season games in his career. His best record is 75 games, and that was six years ago. However, it looks like the Lakers got lucky this time, as it's expected that Davis will be back for the upcoming game against the Rockets.

That Adebayo performance was really impressive, though I think the Lakers could have beaten the Heat if Davis had been able to play the entire game.

He did good I believe. But I think coach Lue needs to revamp the line up, putting all 4 in the starting line up may not be good for the team as they lack sized against the Knicks, which is pretty evident by the rebounding disparity... 48 vs 31 only for the Clippers, that's not competitive.

I don't know whom they'll put on the 2nd unit but I like to see one of them take charge the 2nd unit, maybe Harden?

The Knicks and Clippers were trading punches in the first three quarters but the home team kicked into another gear early in the fourth which set the tone for the rest of the game. Those five steals in the final quarter alone made a huge difference.

I think coach Lue did okay with his team's rotation despite the loss. How did you see Harden's debut?

A PG with good passing skills will definitely make them much better since the current roster is very good already. But if they have no other other option then Conley is decent. I just see his $24 million purse this year is too expensive but I understand that no other team will accept him with that kind of salary.

Are you referring to Conley with that contract? I know he had a huge contract with Memphis before he got traded, but he is a decent player, no longer in his prime, but he could still improve a team. I don't even understand why the Jazz let him go.

Same with how important Jimmy was, Bam is another core of this squad, together they are really performing, and they are bringing
decent stats, I like the way they are sharing the floor together.

Yes, without Jimmy, the Heat might struggle to even reach the playoffs. Bam is good, but I believe it was the Heat's system that made him better over time. He's a team player, and he benefits from that. However, we can't be sure if he'll have the same stats if he gets traded to another team. It has happened with other players in the past where they struggled.

Comparing him to Howard, they aren't on par. During Howard's prime, he was very unstoppable in the paint due to his size and athleticism, but Bam is just a shorter center, and he isn't as strong as Howard. Bam is only 6'10", and he struggles against bigger and taller guys like Jokic.

I think the future of the Heat rest on his shoulders. He is as important to the team as Buttler so hopefully he remains consistent and produce double-double every game.

Sure he is important to the team just like last season and right now, he's technically the new captain ball of their team.

If he's going to be consistent and produce these numbers every single game although it's unlikely but at least close to this stat, it's not just going to be all about Jimmy whenever they're against with other teams.

Tomorrow, they're going to be with the Grizzlies. Lesser rest but I'm sure that he's still going to show some good numbers on that game.

Same with how important Jimmy was, Bam is another core of this squad, together they are really performing, and they are bringing
decent stats, I like the way they are sharing the floor together.
