We've got some rumors again that came out related to Damian Lillard and it's another team that's interested to trade him. It is the Chicago Bulls that are interested in acquiring Damian Lillard. What do you think about this? The article says that they're likely to trade LaVine for Lillard.

I think before this news came out, there were was a rumor last year specially on how the Bulls was not able to get over the first round of playoffs, despite having a good tandem in Lavine and DeRozan, that Lavine is not happy and so he might want a trade.

But in this case, Damian Lillard said he wants Miami his as his preferred destination though. And not sure if Portland is willing to have a 1:1 trade here or if Lavine also wanted to be with Portland.

Let's not get ahead just yet. Dwight Howard is not yet signed with the Golden State Warriors just yet but he got the approval of most veterans of the team so it's a good sign.

IMO, I like to see him play one more time in the NBA. I want to see that bully ball that he played against Nikola Jokic and every big man in the league.
I don't really care if he scores or not, just that mere defensive strength will get my hopes high about him. He may be seasoned but he can still play and looking at his physical attributes, he still got it.
It will just depend on Coach Kerr if he will give him the minutes if ever the Warriors management will sign him even for a veteran contract.

If today’s workout with Green and CP3 goes well, I think he’ll be a Warrior. I’m excited about it not just from a defensive end, but for what he brings to the table on offense. I thought having a roll to the basket alley-oop threat has been missing since they got rid of JaVale McGee. Dwight would likely open up things for Curry and Klay to get more looks.

The fact that they got rid of JaVale simply means they are looking for a better big man. JaVale can't keep up with the fast pace, so his minutes are limited. I don't know, but maybe Dwight could play some significant minutes, especially in the fourth quarter, where sometimes the Warriors have meltdowns.

CP3 alley-oop to Howard, we will see more of that once the season starts and when the deal is finalized.

I think Javale is very different to Howard, most of their big man in the past has been agile and Javale was not. However, Javale might offer other things, like being a shot blocker, but his speed is really the breaking point that's why they got rid of him.

But I do agree that we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves here as Howard hasn't been officially sign by the Warriors yet. We should wait for the announcement before we can have discussions as what role he will be in the Warriors uniform although we everyone has his own opinions already.

Dame is getting lit up on social media today after claiming he wouldn’t do what KD did while he’s literally trying to do the exact same thing KD did. I’m surprised we haven’t heard a response from Kevin Durant yet, but maybe he’s just sitting back and enjoying NBA Twitter (x) roasting a different player for dumb comments for a change.

Lol, it's not only Dame, least we forget Giannis as well told when he won a ring with the Bucks that he won't do a KD, but look at what he is hinting, he says that he is a champion and wanted to go out in winning and most likely if he doesn't win in Bucks uniform he might join another team.

And so far we have heard like the Warriors, but it's early to say. I guess it's going to be the norm for this NBA superstars, that one day, they will have to form super teams in order to not just win one ring.

By the time giannis is a free agent golden state will have aged out of theor window and a team like okc might be coming into the window.  Making speculations today when he is still on contract for years with the Bucks doesn't make sense nor is any of it accurate.  Super teams are the worst.  Miss the 80s and 90s where teams hated each other.

We will see then, OKC? I doubt that Giannis will go there unless they really make a good move in the playoffs or really improved the team. So far they are fairly young with no experience. I see Giannis looking for them that has the experience already and that's why the name of Warriors keeps popping up as they are the most sucessful team in this era and maybe their big 3 can still play in the next 2-3 years and that might coincide with their last run and it could be a good move by Giannis if they can join them during that run.

Hopefully OKC will improve as the young core's chemistries is very important, with Shai and all those young cores if they continue improving who knows Giannis will be the best addition.

But yes, with how Giannis state his intention, maybe he will go with the team
who really has that good chance of winning a title, wondering if he's thinking about
joining either Boston, Miami or Philly? hehehe...

It's good news that Dwight Howard is back in the NBA since he is still interested in playing. But I don't see him as one of the best centers anymore in the current NBA situation. He will probably sit most of the time and will be utilized only as a last resort. But with his deep experience, GSW can use him, especially during the playoffs but still with limited minutes. if the whole roster of Denver is complete then Nikola Jokic will have an easy time against him.

I only saw some short clips of his games in Taiwan. I heard his stats were good but is it also true that his team lost more games than winning?

If we take into account Howard's age, this signing with the Warriors will probably be his last return to the NBA. So this is definitely good news for him.
Of course, Howard is long past his prime, and he's not a versatile center like Jokic or Embiid. Nevertheless, Howard will definitely be useful to the Warriors in the paint, and I think Kerr will let him play an average of 20-25 minutes per game.

We can't compare Howard to Embiid and Jokic because his main assignment is on the defensive end only. Jokic and Embiid are the main men of their teams; if they struggle, the whole team will be affected. So, Howard's role is to give these players a hard time on the court and other great centers. The Warriors don't need to worry about the offense, as their guards are very effective. They just need a paint protector and a good rebounder as well.

Yeah, he's got absolute crazy stats there but it's also true that his team got more loses than winnings.

T1 League Standings

1. N.Taipei CTBC25-5
2. Tainan GH19-11
3. TB Herobears16-14
4. Kaohsiung A.15-14
5. Taichung Suns8-21
6. Taoyuan L.6-24

Here are the stats of the Taiwan T1 League teams. And the last one, the #6 is the team where Dwight played for.

Draymond Green had this to say on Twitter (x) about a report that Dwight Howard has been given the all clear to join the Warriors by the vets and will be working out with Dray and CP3 tomorrow.

That sure does make it seem like Dwight Howard is going to get another shot in the NBA with the Warriors. That could cause problems for the rest of the league.

This is the best comeback ever because we know that Dwight really was something when he played in Taiwan and is still one of the best centers in the NBA despite the injuries. they taking it seriously to make it hard for Jokic because they cannot afford to lose in the playoffs this time and one of the ways to increase their chance to stop Jokic is to get Dwight while he is still balling and capable of that work. Now the West is in trouble, I wonder how will the other teams react to this because it's a good move for the GSW.

We will see, yeah it could be the comeback of the year if Dwight really contribute big with the Warriors. And I guess him playing in Taiwan and still very active, could have given him the edge against those who also try it out with the Warriors.

And then the way he handled Jokic before, I know we can't compare it right now as Jokic is really on his prime right now, but at least he has the experience already if ever they have match them in the playoffs, Dwight will be a big factor as for sure he will be given the task against Jokic one on one.

There's no doubt that he's still a talented player capable of dominating the league. However for this to happen the Warriors would need to provide Dwight Howard with more playing time unlike Lakers did in his last NBA season where he averaged only 15 minutes per game.

The question is if he returns to the NBA will the Warriors give him more playing time and in what position will Howard fit Power Forward or Center?

An addition to that, Dwight was able to have close contact calls with the higher executives including their coach, Steve Kerr. So yes, this is the early signs that we're going to see Dwight coming back in action in the NBA. He may not be in his prime but sure he's got the love and passion for the sport and also he's got still a lot of fans. So the Warriors isn't just going to get him as him alone but also the crowd and fans that he's got in the entire world as he's got more when he played in Taiwan. Maybe it's just a matter of time until there's the official announcement of the Warriors for their welcoming to him.

This is good news for Dwight, at least he has been given a chance to play again, and it will be against a contender like the Warriors. Although, for sure comments will be pouring regarding the age of the Warriors, but I don't see it as a problem though.

They have experimented before with young players like Jordan Poole and others who have been traded already. And then they still have Kuminga who has been reported to still have been growing to close to 7'0 foot now.

Yeah, they already use that kind of experiment where they are rotating players. for now, it will be too early to say whether Howard will be
fit or not, the good thing is they can use him for defensive purposes.

Not that kind of minutes as they still have Looney, a good role player that is already familiar with how they run the system.

Giving Howard some minutes while resting Looney or experimenting with new tactics which includes CP3 and Howard these
two have connections as they played before during the redeem team if my memory serve me right.

The Lob Party is coming soon for the Warriors, and I've always wanted to see Dwight play with Curry, and finally, it's happening. I'm not expecting too much from Dwight, though, but his energy on the floor is just remarkable. He can get under the skin of superstars who play the same position as he does, especially Jokic, of course, so he should be a vital piece for the team. CP3 should be happy to help Howard utilize his skills more.

Shams is reporting that Buddy Hield and the Pacers weren’t able to come to terms on contract negotiations and will now be discussing trade options. I hope the Lakers can get him somehow. Hield is the shooter that LeBron has been needing. He was never happy on the Pacers so this comes as no surprise. I just wish they’d traded him to the Lakers before the Westbrook disaster.

Well, the Lakers have enough  pieces to make this trade possible. I once thought the Lakers will most likely acquire Buddy in 2022, because the speculations were strong during that time, but it did not happen. He could've been a great addition to the team especially in the playoffs were a lot of occasions the Lakers have been missing a lot of three pointers. However, the Lakers current roster is quite decent for another playoff run, so they might get less interested with Buddy, let's what moves they make this time.

This is going to be his last hurrah and the Warriors may take this chances with him and I'm confident he'll be in a Warrior uniform this season.
