Dallas coming out and saying they are not planning to have JaVale McGee on their team when the season starts is a bit of a surprise as I think JaVale is a quality player that is underrated. Him being waved would likely open the door up for a return to Phoenix or Los Angeles on a minimum contract, which I think would be great for either team.

Stephen Curry just hit a hole in one on live TV during a golf tournament. This guy is living the dream man… I’m guessing that’s going to go down as one of his all time favorite sports moments, which is crazy when you consider that he’s an MVP and NBA champion. You can catch the clip on twitter everywhere in a couple minutes I’m sure.

Yes, I saw that one. The man is indeed really gifted and no doubt that his skills are solely not for basketball use only because we can see that even in golf, he is still doing his magic and it seems that he is quite interested in playing golf nowadays because we can see him frequently in the field rather than in court this summer.

Yesterday, Stephen Curry led the Celebrity Golf Tournament in Tahoe and made a wild putt after doing his signature move in basketball.

An official offer from Miami for Dame has been made. Tyler Herro and a few draft picks. We’ll see what happens there. The big news of the day out of Miami though is Jimmy Butler hooking up with Shakira. I wonder how that’s going to impact his offseason training. Usually famous women don’t have a positive effect on athletes…
You think Portland accept that? I think they will hold out for another player or pick honestly. They're not going to get much more then that considering Lillards age, but 1 more pick is possible.

Far as Shakira and Butler, good for him. She freaking sexy!!!

They might need a third team to make the trade happen because it's seriously not enough, Portland remained firm on their say that they are not interested to acquire Tyler Herro anymore. Those three first rounders are fine though but it's still not enough, some rumors are surfacing that the Portland is asking for another first rounder to make it four future picks. We'll know more about it soon.

The fact that Lonzo played just a while and retired before 30 is a seriously sad thing to see. He was just getting better as well, at Bulls he became a bit better, checking his stats and all it looks like he was a good part of a decent team. Of course he wasn't the main part of it, but he was at least part of a decent team. In any case, seeing young players stop like this is always sad, I remember Brandon Roy as well and him quitting because of his knees, that was a terrible thing to see as well.

I hope he lives rest of his life good enough, he made some good money from NBA to be fair and if he invested them smartly then he will definitely have a lot of money, not sure if BBB ever made him any money, but his contracts were big.

Lonzo was definitely a big name when coming into the league, the three brothers and their high school games were big phenom and then he got drafted by Lakers, which he wanted from the start, the things with his father and the shoe thing and all that. Dude was basically a walking headline, and he kept at it for a while as well. Its sad to see his career turn out like this, I would have expected him to at least finish his career, maybe not amazingly but at least keep playing. I am sure that he is not going to end up just retiring though, sure he has an injury for the whole season, and it doesn't matter how many seasons it takes, eventually he will try to do a comeback, either in NBA if he can find a contract, and if not I bet he will try to play overseas.

It's very unfortunately, but if it is a nagging injuries, then maybe it's going to be career threatening for him. He is not the first player though to suffer this kind of fate. There are even number 1 draft picks who haven't reach his full potential because of his injuries. I guess players know this and maybe everyone is prayer that they won't suffer any damage specially at the beginning of their career.

Again, we still hope that he can get back in playing more years in the NBA than just simply retiring.

The dude is only 25 years of age. But in such a short time he has been through a lot. I still do not think that he's going to just retire. But all these things have certainly taken a big toll on his career. These three brothers could have been something amazing for the future of the NBA. The future of Lonzo Ball to be very bright at this moment. Being injured for a long time in the NBA can be a big problem for anyone. But he seems to be a great fighter. Not everyone can actually overcome these types of problems.

He had a 4-year $85 million contract but he will miss whole next season so it was the only choice for Bulls. Knee injuries have career-ending effect. I don't think he could play at NBA level even if he got better after not playing for 2 seasons. The career of a promising young player has come to an end. Bulls have made room in the salary cap, they can get a new player but difficult days continue for Ball.

In fact, there are only 2 seasons left on Lonzo's current contract, of which, as you mentioned, the upcoming 23/24 season he will miss entirely due to injury, and the 24/25 season will be a player option. If I correctly understand the terms of this exception, it turns out that the Bulls management can now not only find a replacement for Lonzo but also waive him in the final year of his contract.

That's the closest thing that would happen because they cannot gamble on Lonzo Ball anymore due to his injury. What happened is just considered a loss on their part, but that's business, there's a risk in signing big contract with the players and it's just sad a promising player turns out to be a burden to the team. Well, this is not something new though as there are lots of players that is already the same scenario with the Lonzo Ball, both party just have to deal with it.

I saw the same news.
Miami Heat ready to give Herro + 3 first-round draft picks + 1 young player to Portland.

Shakira and Butler had dinner at a restaurant in London.

I'm seeing articles online saying that the Blazers are "unmotivated" in trading Lillard to the Heat.

It seems like the initial offer of the Heat which is Herro + 3 first round picks isn't good enough to land Lillard. Some articles also said that the Blazers wanted another first round pick, and a valuable player aside from their first trade package if they wanted Dame. I wonder who will be that "valuable player" that they wanted, and if the Heat really want to add another draft pick to the package. On the other hand, teams who are interested in Lillard before aren't interested anymore because it seems like Dame don't want to play for other teams aside from the Heat. This is a good sign for the Heat, so they just need to fulfill what the Blazers wants if they really wanted to land Dame.

Overall, I don't care about Shakira and Butler meeting, but I'm more excited about which players will the Heat, and Pat Riley give to the Blazers just to get Dame. Cheesy

I think the Bulls made the only right decision by applying for a Disabled Player Exception because it will allow them to sign a free agent who can probably partially compensate for the loss of Lonzo. Anyway, it's certainly not good for Lonzo because his NBA career will likely be over soon. At least, I don't really believe that he will be able to get back to his former playing shape after such an injury and multiple surgeries.

Lonzo is surely disappointed to his own self because his future in the league is already blurry and even if he will be back again, there's no assurance that he can still play the way he used to do but when it comes to IQ level, Lonzo ball is still an asset. Still, it would be much better if he can pull his own self together as he is indeed a good package that the Bulls can ask for. As of now, time to search for that someone who will fill Lonzo's position for at least 1 year.

NBA management accepted the Chicago Bulls' offer. Lonzo Ball will not play officially next season!
Lonzo Ball will receive just $10.2 million next season.
It's a bad situation for Lonzo Ball's career.

Just a clarification, Lonzo Ball's current contract with the Chicago Bulls remains as it is.

The $10.2 Million is not Lonzo's salary next season but rather NBA allows the Chicago Bulls to use an extra $10.2M over the allowed salary cap space of the team to fill Lonzo's absence this season. In a much simpler explanation, the Bulls can sign another player, either they will fish on the free agency or trade their player that is currently on the final contract. However, they can only give a 1-year deal agreement to that player.
+10M without hitting the luxury tax. The NBA usually gives this to teams who will report one of their high-paid players that will be unable to play the whole season. It will definitely be helpful for the Chicago Bulls.

Honestly, that was a big help for the Chicago Bulls to somehow fill what Lonzo's left. I hope they will be able to land a good role player that can blend well into the current roster. It's not a secret that Lonzo is a big help for the Chicago Bulls prior to the injury and really blends well with their main cast e.g DeMar DeRozan, Zach Lavine, Nikola Vucevic, Alex Caruso, etc.
But, I cannot think of a player that would fill that hole. Perhaps they should try Isaiah Thomas, he had been looking for a team to adopt him. It's not like he will sign a contract already, they have like try-outs if I am right.
It's not easy to find a good point guard now, the Chicago Bulls are already filled with offensive players, their big three can do so much on that area, all they need is who will be the playmaker for them.
And, if there's more money left, they should sign a defensive player specialist. They always lack on that part with only Caruso who can stop offensive players. He may need some backup on defense.

It's the curse of NBA player falling to famous women and we all know that it's not a great combination. As for the offer of Miami, not sure if that is enough for the Blazers though, I thought they will include other names like Kyle Lowry + Herro + future draft picks.

So yeah, we will see if the Blazers management are going to bite on this offer or will have to work with Miami to include other players.

Same with you. I am also in the impression that aside from Herro, they will also add Robinson or Lowry.

Not sure about that future picks and how Blazers will take that offer, it will be depending on how both managements will
discuss the offer and will close the trade.

We will hear updates regarding to these trades as knowing the Socmed. Some are speculation and some are smoke
that's already giving hints for potential closures.

Then we shouldn't believe easily on the videos release by social media influencer since they can create false situation just for the views and we can't expect any reliable informations coming from those guys. Only believe when the information came from Shams Charania and  Brian Windhorst since they are reliable guy who delivers good information about possible big news to happen in Nba.

Other than that is just nonsense so better go with the legit personal for reliable news.

Shakira and Butler had dinner at a restaurant in London.

I think it’s a little more than that. For them to comment on their relationship I’d say it’s gotten to the point that they’re hanging out quite a bit. It’s been a while since the playoffs, where she was spotted watching the Miami Heat. I’d imagine if they weren’t already hanging out back then, that’s when they exchanged information and have been seeing each other for at least several weeks, not that it matters.
