For me, Tatum and Jaylen Brown is the best duo in the league and it will take a lot from Miami to step either one of them.
It looks like an easier win for the Celtics if you looks at the roster for each team. Heat has Buttler and not so many great individual players unlike the Sixers who have Embiid and Harden. They have Lowry but they can't really rely on him the entire series and I bet he'll be out injured in one or two games.

I think it's another difficult match up in reality. Celtics have more talented players but Heat plays really good as a team and they hustle. This could be a six or seven game series.

Yes, we know that the Celtics will be the favorite in this series, not just every game. But just like in the Sixers series there could be unexpected results, like Sixers stealing game 1 for them. But they were able to get it back and win it in 7, so not every easy. And as we are now in the conference finals, it will be harder against the veteran Miami Heat. We thought that they are done, but this experience players specially Jimmy Butler still has one aces down in their sleeves and will everything they got against the Celtics. so it could really be six or seven series again.

It wasn't easy for other teams, but it was easy for them. If you still remember, they did the same to the Bucks last season, although in the ECF. And now, they have repeated their dominance in the semifinals. Game 7 was a complete domination by the Celtics, and Tatum had a big bounce back after his not-so-good performance in Game 6. Now, it will be the Celtics versus the Heat. This is certainly an exciting series, and although the Heat had the easiest journey to the ECF, it's the Celtics who are the favorites to win.

And just like that! The stage are officially set for the WCF and ECF and It is something looks very very familiar, because this was the NBA 2020 final match up for both conferences. I thought this was going to be a tight game 7 as they traded buckets and leads in the first half, until the Celtics made a 3 pt barrage in the 3rd quarter and end it with a 25 pt lead moving towards the 4th quarter and the Sixers did not had the chance to make their own run to comeback to the game.

This is going to be interesting. It was the Lakers and Heat in the 2020 finals, but it looks like the Denver and the Celtics are a much stronger team now than the last time these team met in the conference finals. Will we see a Denver-Boston match up?

Most likely this is what I'm seeing as well, top seed Denver in the West vs the second seed in the East. Dynamic Duo of Jokic and Murray, against Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

But still early to say though, Lakers is a very different team as compare when they become champion, but the core of Davis and James are still there. Miami still has their core of Bam and Jimmy Butler, but they have the experience of Lowry and other undrafted picks who are showing very good with them in this playoff, specially on how they dismantle the Bucks in their first round series.

I think Dennis Schroder is the best for a long time this is for the future of Lakers
Yeah, that was a good acquisition back for them and good decision for Dennis. Well, if he has just taken the old contract offered to him that's giving him lots of money, he should have some other extended contract now but let's see if there will be a better compensation to him after this season.
Well, I just hope that he will not demand more money again like what he did in the past where he demanded 100M$ to the Lakers.
I'm sure that he has learned his lesson the hard way and that won't happen again. Whatever will be given to him, let's just guess that he's going to be grateful to remain on the team.

If I'm the GM, I'd rather spend more on Reaves than Schroder because he's the new star player in town.
Yeah, that's much more making sense if they'll going to give more compensation for Reaves to stay. But before with all of that, they should win against the Nuggets and aim to get into the finals first.

^^ Game 7 is not even close, yeah, the 76ers took lead in the second quarter, but the Celtics are not bothered by it and they keep coming back. And then they just needed one quarter to close it, because in the 3rd, they just allowed 76ers to just score 10 points. While they become hot on the 3 point line as everyone is hitting beyond the arc.

For me, Tatum and Jaylen Brown is the best duo in the league and it will take a lot from Miami to step either one of them.
And this time, the opposite thing will happen instead of the Heat advancing towards the Finals just like what happened in the Bubble. I know it is still early to make an assumption but looking at the Miami Heat's situation right now, they are currently undermanned, and their chances are not that good because only Butler and Adebayo are the remaining reliable players in the team. Strus, Robinson, Vincent and Lowry especially Love are not even stepping up to help their core to win some games meanwhile the Celtics here are different and young. If there will be an injury again from the Heat, it will decrease their chances heavily and that will put an advantage towards the Celtics.

Quote
The MVP for this season just had 15 points, another frustrating year for Joel, although he won the coveted MVP, his team will not advanced to the finals and fell short after taking a lead in this series.
Quite an embarrassing round for Joel Embiid after winning the most coveted MVP award, surely enough that Sixers fans are also not happy with the outcome because they end up choking again after pushing the Celtics to the edge. Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic is averaging triple double.

Tatum, who struggled in Game 6, played great basketball in Game 7, scoring 51 points. His performance was enough for his team to dominate the team led by the NBA regular season's MVP. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for reaching the ECF once again. However, I believe that the Heat are being underestimated, and I like to think that they have the potential to upset the Celtics.

I'd like to see the other teams that will be in the NBA Finals, but I'm also okay with the Heat vs. Denver.  Smiley

Anyway, we have a bet on the conference MVPs. Who do you think will win in their respective conferences?

The Grizzlies just suspended him again for the video. What an idiot. Ja won’t be happy until he loses all his endorsements and gets murdered by someone who isn’t larping as a gangsta. It’s so weird how they can’t get this suburban private school kid to stop acting like he’s Nino Brown. This next generation is so weird. They do it all for the gram.
Last time the NBA commissioner had to step in and lengthen the suspension. I think this time Ja is looking at a minimum 1 month. The NBA is not going to play a round with him and the wanna be thug image he is portraying. It wouldn't shock me if he is suspended for the whole next season and loses all endorsements like you alluded to.
The gram is evil. Yeah, a season would be much better. I think he needs rehab and it will take that long to recover.  Cheesy
I found tweets that are obviously for Ja Morant's gun issue again.

Well the first lets say 15 minutes of the game haven't been easy. I watched them but since it was so late I turned it off when Philly was up by 9, and I thought, maybe there is a chance for the upset.
God was I wrong, haha.
Especially in the 2nd half it looks like hilly fell off a cliff, 36:57, oh well.

Boston must have really turned up their D to just let them 36 points in 24 minutes, that some small European team numbers.  Grin

Both teams gave us a very entertaining and back& forth series with a lot of highlights. In the end the better team won because they could handle the pressure. Coming back from 3:2 being forced to win a game 6 on the road is not an easy thing!

The series with Miami is gonna be exciting as well. Boston is a big favourite to win but I bet Miami likes it's chances.

What a big comeback by the Celtics in this series, they were trailing the Sixers 3-2 going into the homecourt of Philly and Tatum having a bad shooting night. But eventually he caught one and another and another and then it was a sweet victory for the Celtics on the road.

And now they go at their fame Boston Garden and then Tatum shows why he is the leader of the team, big 51 points for him and every time he had Joel Embiid in a switch, he will just go and hit that 3 in Joel's face and nothing he can do about it.

So now it's going to be Miami vs Boston in the ECF, gonna be a great series. Tatum going against one of the best mind in the game right now, Jimmy Butler. And I can smell a defensive game here as both are known to be a good defensive team, so maybe low scoring games.

Game 7 Boston is different. They finished the third quarter very well and widened the lead. Tatum plays amazing. I was waiting for this to be over at TD Garden, I think I wasn't wrong. The Sixers should have won at home in Game 6, it was clear they were going to have a tough time in Boston. I would prefer Boston to make it to the Conference Finals anyway. It will be an interesting series with Heat. Of course, first of all, Boston needs to complete the game without making any mistakes in the final period. The Sixers don't bode well, Embiid, Maxey and Harden are unbelievably bad today. They only scored 10 points, I don't remember seeing such a bad 3rd quarter performance from any team in play-offs.
They managed to stop Tatum in Game 6 temporarily because he became a hero in that game, scoring most of his points in the 4th quarter, and lead his team to victory. Now in crucial Game 7, he did it again as he broke the previous record that Steph Curry did, and scored 51 points, the most points in a Game 7 playoffs in NBA history as they won and will be facing the Heat in the Conference Finals. I just saw this in Facebook, but we are seeing the same teams facing in the Conference Finals during the 2020 Bubble. Lakers facing the Nuggets while the Celtics facing the Heat.

Just so for context, Joel Embiid is 0-3 now in Game 7's in the playoffs, and Coach Doc "CHOKE" Rivers did it again, and now has a record of 17-33 in closeout games all-time. He CHOKED again.  Grin Grin Being up 3-2, stealing one at the road, and I thought that they have the control already, but he choked, and so as the Sixers. He did it in the Clippers, and now he did again in the Sixers. I will not be surprised if he's the next coach to be fired this off-season.

Well, the Celtics manage to stop the big 3 of the Sixers because of their good defense. Anyway, good game for both teams. Celtics Vs. Heat in the Conference Finals again. We've seen these 2 teams matched up last season, and the Heat are just one Jimmy Butler's three only to win on that series. Will they get their revenge now, and will make a history.

I think Dennis Schroder is the best for a long time this is for the future of Lakers

I thought Ja Morant got some help this time because he said it himself before that he will take what happened to him seriously for him to be a better version, but what happened is the better version is his worse. Seriously though, this kid should be surrounded with people that have real goals to help him achieve his full potential in the court and not being a gangsta when they aren't.

Remember that a real gangsta like Damian Lillard is not even bragging it, he knows what's the true meaning of it unlike Ja here who just wanted to be the next Ja Wick, but the worse version.

His suspension is nothing to what he is earning from NBA. If they really want to teach Ja Morant a lesson, they should hit him with something that could hurt him. He has not learned anything if he has done it again. I think the previous statement that he got helped and everything, is just a press release written by a corporate lawyer or something. He did not really get help. His talent will be wasted if he continues to act like this. He has not even proven anything in NBA yet and he acts like this.

By the way, game 7 between Philly and Boston just got started. I want Philly to win but they might lose their chances when they let Boston force this deciding game.

Not the game 7 of a playoff series that I am expecting. It was a blowout game. Jason Tatum was unstoppable. I think he made 50+ points in that game. He redeemed himself after a few bad games in this series. The stars of Philadelphia are nowhere to be found. I bet for Boston in this game because of the record of Doc Rivers not being able to win on a game 7 and this proves to be the right call.

Embid already seems to be the most over rated MVP in the league history. He's soft and can't even pick up his team in any aspect of basketball. Can't score at will against decent guards. Can't guard against decent centers or power forwards, he can pass and create space but it's at a bare minimum at this point. The 76ers are absolutely getting destroyed against the Celtics in game 7 with almost 30 points lead, going into the 4th qtr. Absolutely no hopes from them and with even harden being shut down. The game has been tragic after the first qtr. I just wanted to watch competitive basketball..a thriller of a game 7. Nope, not tonight.

He is exposed today. Jason Tatum had a field day on him. The Boston Celtics took advantage of the pick-and-roll because he can't guard the guards of Boston. Another disappointing season ending for the 76ers. I thought they would be able to win it all this season since they are really good this year. They have the right roster to win but they failed again in the second round this year.

They’re saying Chris Paul is done in Phoenix. Vegas currently has the odds on Chris Paul being with the Lakers next season. This wouldn’t surprise me at all as LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul. I’m not sure having an injury prone Chris Paul on the roster with Anthony Davis will be great for the postseason. They’ll probably talk about it during tonight’s game.

That is not a good combination, right now Anthony Davis is hanging like a thread whether he will be injured or Questionable just like Lebron James, but I think it is not a good idea in acquiring Chris Paul for the Lakers
Well, having "superstars" that are injury prone is a gamble and a high risk - high reward type of team. We saw it from the Phoenix although they're close to it but wasn't good enough. And after all the firing of these head coaches from teams that have got eliminated. That only shows that the team's management's weren't really happy with the result that they've invested heavily for their contracts. But say that Lebron will still play for Lakers for the next season, it is for sure that he's involved with the decision making into making the team greater and stronger.

I think Dennis Schroder is the best for a long time this is for the future of Lakers

There are only two things that could happen.

1. Lakers closes up this series
2. GSW would be able to push it on game 7 (hopefully)

Seeing on that recent Nuggets and Suns game then i could say that whether these two teams could be able to match up Denver then it wont really be that an easy stuff on beating up this team.
Jokic and Murray? Dont know if they would be able to stop but well we cant really tell it though on which team will be facing up on semis. It is really just that sad to see Durant pissed off
about on some choking.  Cheesy

Now that the Los Angeles Lakers have won against the Golden State Warriors they are now advancing in facing the Denver Nuggets and in my observation of the game the Lakers and the Warriors the Lakers now have a shooting average of not like the Warriors but high enough than with their old Lakers team, now that they have shooting guards that are consistent in shooting I think they can handle those in defense and in a play of the Nuggets, but I could be wrong because the Lakers is a new form team and they could have a hard time with the Nuggets for sure,

Agree to that, after KD left them there's an impression that they already finished but we all know what happened after that, still
have that potential as the core still playing and there are players who can adjust and improve.

They just need to re-assess what happened and see if how they will be able to fill whatever is missing.

in regard to their interior defense, Looney and Green need someone to adjust and help them, though I personally think that it was
Wiggins who adjust last year to fill that piece maybe they just need to enhance in terms of rotating the defense.

The Wiggins right now is not the same as the Wiggins last season, and the Jordan Poole right now is not like the Poole last season, well in all that drama Andrew Wiggins has some personal problem and Poole is having some issues with something maybe spending $500,000 USD in dating this is the problem with the Warriors new main core giving them lots of money and they will not hit it to the gym there is no hard work anymore, I really wish this would be a lesson for the Warrior rosters but if they still on the Warriors team that is,

I think AD can neutralize Jokic better than any of the remaining centers and it will be a replay of the results of the bubble series.

If we compare the stats of Davis and Jokic, we can notice that Davis' strength is his defense in the paint and ability to grab rebounds well, while Jokic's strength is his ability to adapt and be a versatile player on the court. So it should be interesting to see which one of these two guys will dominate in the paint, but I think Davis is unlikely to be able to completely neutralize Jokic.

I was expecting Denver to have a rematch with GSW in the finals but well, this one is also another interesting series because it's another rematch of their bubble's series. This rematch though is different since Jokic finally had some reliable players to help his team. Jokic and AD are very capable players but I doubt they can fully stop each other's plays, especially on the Joker. Before, it was Dwight Howard that made Jokic's life difficult and probably set the tempo for the whole series. Howard was there to annoy Jokic while AD was free to focus on his offense. I am rooting for Denver this time. Jokic is just too versatile and now that he's got good teammates he will be more capable than AD. Denver's defense is more likely to shut down AD in some of their games than the Lakers' stopping Joker from contributing in many ways to help his team.

By the way, game 7 between Philly and Boston just got started. I want Philly to win but they might lose their chances when they let Boston force this deciding game.
