Dillon Brooks called for the Flagrant Foul 2 and was ejected from the game. The same as what James Harden did back at Brooklyn where he hit the balls of the defender, this time Brooks hit Lebron's important eggs too.  Grin Well, that's a good way to stop him from making 40 points in a game but in exchange for him being thrown out and not helping his teammates.
Ja Morant exploded in the 4th quarter but not enough to bring them back closer to tying or winning the game.

Lakers won!
Lebron James had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. But the most effective player was Austin Reaves, he definitely played like it was a championship game hustling in both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. 13/6/2 It cannot be seen on paper but he did great today.

Yeah, we've seen the Austin Reaves is really a good catch for the Lakers this season. And almost all of there new players are contributing in this series against Memphis. Beasley though, seems to be off again although he has just been given a few minutes to play in this series.

AD another double double, he make it tonight for game 2 lackluster performance.

And I really like how Lebron takes the tempo in the 4th when they still have that lead and not allow Ja Morant to take over the game. Although Ja exploded with 45 points.

You can't count out Rui Hachimura when we're talking about how far the Lakers have gone currently after a slow start at the regular season. Rui has been BIG in the play-in and the playoffs, putting up huge numbers and is so efficient, not to mentioned he's also been a huge factor defensively. I love how the Lakers played an air tight defense early in game 3 and that made the Grizz shot 3/25 If I remembered it correctly.
One more win for the Lakers and this series is done. The Lakers has a good momentum in game 3, but let's watch out for Ja as he also had his momentum with that mini run late in the 4th with that 24 straight pts. I just hope nothing major happened with his legs after that dunk he made before the game ended. Looks like a minor cramps, but I hope that's just what it is.

^ That was a close game. The Kings almost had it. If they go up 3-1 I think they beat the Warriors. As it stands now the Warriors still have to win a game in Sacramento, but this kept them alive. Harrison Barnes almost had his moment against his former team at the end. If he makes that three point shot at the buzzer the Kings fans would have lost their minds.

Lebron is definitely master of playoff time, even though AD was the best player this game with 31 points and 17 rebounds which is insane to think about whereas Lebron had "only" 25 points and 9 rebounds, I would say Lebron was the one that made it better. How?

Dillon Brooks loved to talk about Lebron and said some stuff, the first game back? Lebron got him ejected Cheesy. That's how you become a king, you eliminate the opponent. Way before that, the first quarter was just insane, it wasn't even remotely close quarter, 35-9 first quarter result, after that no matter what Memphis tried, it just didn't get better. They had 2 quarters with 10 point difference and still lost because of that first quarter. All in all, Lakers looked like locked and loaded and ready to go to war, I suppose they will win this series if they keep it going like this.

No doubt on that, the Lakers won't get this far if he wasn't in the same roster because even if he's not leading the team in-terms of points, we all know that he is also playing like a coach running in the hardwood and laying the table for a much needed adjustment so that the team can take advantage of any opportunity that will be open for them. What they did in the recent game was a well deserved win, they should do this frequently instead of giving the opposing team any chances because if they can do it like this way then why don't they repeat the same instinct and energy again.

They just need to keep on adjusting in each game plan Memphis will prepare for them. I completely agree that if
they will bring that same energy and same level of chemistries then they can win another game.

Kings are playing so clean in last quarter of the game and this might secure them the game and 3-1 lead in the series which is crazy and a few of us anticipated something like this after just 4 games. This duo with Fox and Murray simply gets you buckets almost every time and if that is not enough Sabonis who can pick himself some nice points during the game too and if the other team is slowing down a bit , Kings will punish them.

But Warriors manage to escape and protect the home court advantage. They tied the series and now it will be reset to the best of 3.

They still should give Beasley enough minutes per game to keep him heated as he is more likely to shut down if he can't get any enough minutes just because of his recent stats, that kind of trade is not that risky because the other players are doing everything they can. They just need to do some sacrifice for Beasley so that he can be more useful if they can reach further this playoffs season.

Austin Reaves though, this kid is so lowkey and underrated but he's very useful in both ends and I'd be upset if the Lakers will be cheap on him again because he deserved to have at least $50 to $60 Million 4-year contract regardless of whatever be the result of their campaign this post season. They are already lucky to have him in the team.

Rui is outplaying Beasley though and so is Austin Reaves. I’m not sure they have the spare minutes to give him.

One thing is for sure. Dillon Brooks came at the King and missed. A big no-no. I’m also not sure that by poking the bear he meant he was going to hit him in the nuts, but I guess when desperation sets in and egos are involved people do some crazy things…

2AM , wonder if I should sleep.

My problem, Golden State is playing in 2,5 hours and I really want to watch the game.  Grin

This is do or die. They win and the gain the momentum and Sacramento might get nervous. If they lose we all know it's over. Being this week on the road and having to win 3 straight with 2 on the road, that's gonna be impossible.

Draymond Green is returning after his 1 game suspension and will give them some defensive help inside. If 2 out of 3 players ( Steph / Klay / Poole ) make a good game shooting wise this will be a win for GSW.

I think it's gonna be a close game and I wouldn't wonder if it's open to the last shot. If the series returns to Sacramento being tied at 2:2 there might be a chance That the Kings are getting nervous. They are quite inexperienced in the playoffs and we all know what the GSW are, they are champions.

Gonna be an exiting game tonight.

The key to this series is AD.  Lebron posting a +/- of -16, when AD has shown up they've one.  They will win or lose based on AD not anyone else.  Definately a wierd series, and what a brutal shooting start last night for Memphis.  Surprised they kept trying to jack up 3s.  They dominate paint scoring and they avoided the paint.  And when they did they couldn't hit layups.  Memphis needs to win game 4 or it might be a wrap.

The Heat pulled it off without Giannis to anchor the Bucks. It cost them big though. Jimmy Butler and Victor Oladipo both sustained hard injuries and we’ll have to see what the results are from those going forward. I still think the Bucks will win this series.
Yes, their series is still 2-1 in favor of the Miami Heat and it's still too early for us to say that they can eliminate the Bucks and proceed into the 2nd round because a lot can happen in their next few games especially if Giannis will return. If that happens, it will surely be a struggle for the Heat to hold their ground mainly now that Butler and Oladipo's injured.

Now for the Lakers and Grizzlies. LeBron vs Brooks. Lol
Lakers won the game, and they made another record as the only team to have that much gap inside 1st quarter of the playoffs. But what I'm curious about was what did LeBron James said to Dillon Brooks before the game commenced. Grin

Yes, when I checked the score or when I was able to watch the game it was the end of the 1st quarter. And I was surprised that the Memphis team didn't even score double digits was LA is 35 points already.

But Memphis try to chip out that lead lead by Ja Morant, but it was not enough as the Lakers was able to take control of the game even if they had cut the lead to around 10 points in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Lebron doesn't need to say anything though, it's his game that really stand out not Brooks mouth or his defense.

Philly won with a strong game. Harden was unfairly kicked out and didn't play in the last quarter, but Maxey still filled that gap by playing well. Embiid should have been kicked out in my opinion. The referees keep making weird decisions. I think this series was over when it was 2-0, now it's 3-0 and the Nets have no chance. I said they played with weak opponents after the 2nd game, there were those who said that the Nets were too strong here, but we saw who was right.

Just show the depth of Philly again, no Harden and yet the Nets wasn't able to exploit that. I mean they are in the good lead even in the last minute of the game. But for some strange reasons, they can't score and then they didn't guard Maxey who took that 3 and that should be the dagger.

Dinwiddie try to drive and he was lucky that a call was made. But after that, Philly score easy and the Nets missed that shot.

I thought that they are going to take a win in this game as they are in control of the game and Joel Embiid is not moving great. Most likely he is suffering some injuries after this game.

Pretty amazing that Philly could win after that bizarre call on Harden.  Both sides were being unfairly refed though so at least is seemed fair in that regard.  Embiid got to show why he's an MVP candidate.  I think the Nets are done and probably shouldn't have been in the playoffs anyway with their roster.  It looks like the Clippers aren't far behind the Nets either.  With no Paul George and now it's looking like no Kawhi, I don't think they have a chance against the Suns.  Westbrook played as good as he could to keep them in the last game, but they're just outmatched.

Now it's even but not that literally even win it comes to standing because the Sixers are just one win away from sweeping the Nets and be the first team to advance in the second round. The Nets are good, I'd give them that because after the trade, they still managed to hold their position and still clinched a playoff spot, but the caliber of their players aren't that good against the other teams in the playoffs right now. I'd say that they are just lucky to be in the first round but that's it.

Somehow the result of their series is quite expected because sixers got a lot advantage compare to the young team of Nets. Maybe for now they are been drowned by sixers and provably they will be sweep by them but this is fine on their end because they still reach this far even if their team has go to many controversy and surprising trades. Maybe next season they should comeback strong since its given that their new young rooster has a talent and Nets just need to develop them.

Agreed! And just like what we've expected, the Sixers successfully swept the Nets at Barclays Center. Even the Nets fans knew what would be the outcome of their series because the roster are still young and inexperienced when it comes to intense games like the playoffs, moreover, they don't have any all-star caliber too that will lead the young players. But overall, it was still a good run for the young team even if they were the first team to be eliminated.

Lakers may be the lower seed, but we all know that they are the better team in this series. Memphis had a great season and kudos to them there is nothing wrong with that, but they are not experienced enough to win the series. Same goes Warriors and Kings as well by the way, in both those series I honestly believe that the series will be won by the team with lower seed. Warriors will go out for their fourth game and can tie the series 2-2 at home, we all know they have a road disadvantage most of the time but they could snatch just one game and win this series. On the other hand Lakers already leading and still at home, they could make it 3-1 on the next game and basically ice the series if they do that. All in all these two teams ending up with the series win would be great, it will give us good teams for the playoffs, and the matchups will be great to watch on the second round as well.

Four games are available later but two of them are super early. I guess I will be missing to watch this games.

1 AM GMT+8 New York Knicks versus Cleveland Cavaliers - Still at Madison Square Garden but I am expecting the Cavaliers to tie the series despite a bad loss at the same venue. A very bad shooting night on that Game 3 for the Cavs which only made 7 three-pointers out of 33 attempts.
They will probably force a win on this game 4 to avoid being in trouble that could lead to ending the series on their own turf in Game 5.

3:30 AM GMT+8 Golden State Warriors versus the New York Knicks - I badly want to watch this one but that means a sleepless night. The Warriors with Draymond Green back, will they be as better as Game 3 or they will find themselves being in trouble with him back in the rotation? Coach Kerr should be mindful of his rotation as this is also a crucial game for them, for it will build momentum if they win and bring it to Sacramento to avoid them lighting the beam.

That was a great game. Dillon Brooks taking after Draymond Green and getting ejected for hitting LeBron in the nuts. I wonder if he’ll be out for the next game as well. That first quarter was crazy. LeBron didn’t get his 40 but he did get a win. Anthony Davis looked like the player he could be. If he can keep that up then the Lakers will have a shot at it.

It was really good on the side of the ref they quickly see what Brooks is up to and also Green needed to be checked as well because we all know what he is currently doing right now. these guys wanted to be bad boys by putting huge pressure on the star players but they're doing it wrong and if they are allowed to bring weapons inside the court, they would have done it because of their obvious evil intentions. desperate to win the championships don't need to go overboard and hurt players with some cheap shots because if that is so, it won't be called a sport anymore.

The Lakers took the series 2-1. The Lakers defeated Memphisi 111-101 in the night's game. The strangest thing in this game was Memphis scoring 9 points in the first period. Although Memphis was more effective in the 2nd and 4th periods, the mediocre basketball game in the first period caused the defeat. The next match will be on April 25. If the Lakers win this game, they will go away with a big advantage.

Yup, Lakers win the game with the best effort of all the players in both offense and Defense. It was a team play which give them the advantage and even Memphis did try to rally back, they were already out of time.

I think if Lakers will take another home win, the edge may have to be better, possible that they can take
it in game 5 or 6, but let see if how they will perform in their next game.

I'm still trying to understand who the most hated player in the NBA is, I used to believe it was Patrick Beverley, but then Draymond Green struck the mind, but now how about Dillion Brooks who can seem to get away with anything, I'm no Brooks fan boy but then him getting ejected for some mediocre foul, the same thing James Harden with far less violent history got about 2 days ago, I mean this is the playoffs bruh, but Denis Schroder get away with taking away Ja's landing space significantly but that was a no call and even Desmond Bane got T'd for making a complain about the foul.
