Great battle in the first half between the Grizzlies and the Lakers.

Memphis taking a 9 point lead in the half, Morant and Bane leading the Grizzlies team. While Davis has 18 first half points for the Lakers. Lebron James though is quiet, but I'm thinking that he might go strong in the second half of the ball game like he usually does.

So this is a do or die game for the Memphis and let's see if Ja can come out big to force game 6.

Nice lineup of games tonight.  I'm most looking forward to the Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks game.  Even though I'm a Chicago Bulls fan and got to witness the great uprising of Jimmy Butler, it's been amazing to see how good he's done since leaving and continue to do without another super star player around him.

Also looking forward to the LA Laker versus Memphis Grizz game tonight.  I think the Laker are going to close out that series, or I guess I should say I just hope they do.

My buddy is going to the Kings game tonight. I’m jealous. If they win that is going to be insane.

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking like they don’t want to go home just yet against the Lakers. They’ve currently got their biggest lead of the series. I’m not ready to call it yet because there’s still plenty of time for LeBron to work a miracle.

If the Bucks win today, both the Bucks and Celtics series could reach Game 7, which isn't what we were expecting, but anything can happen as you said. Just imagine how big of an upset it would be if the play-in winners upset the number 1 and number 2 teams in the NBA - it's insane, right?

Anyway, let's see if the Bucks can bounce back huge on their home court. Giannis should be 100% now, though.

It's not easy to bounce back but they still have a chance to recover from this surprise by the Heat and as we can see right now, injuries can really turn the table of the games, especially in the playoffs. they were dominating most of the teams in the regular season games but they seems like an underdog in this series. it's because Heat players are performing well and they might gonna end the Bucks' chance to proceed after game 5.

Looking like the Boston Celtics are going to be sending the Atlanta Hawks fishing tonight. They’re up by more than 10 in the third now and Atlanta seems to be accepting their fate. First game of elimination night looks like we may have our first elimination. Next up will be the Nuggets trying to put away the Timberwolves for the season.

I was expecting the same thing because out of the 3 games that happened earlier, I got the Boston Celtics on my sure list to eliminate the Atlanta Hawks and proceed into the 2nd round where they will wait and face the winner of Bucks vs Miami up next. But what happened was really unexpected, Tatum didn't contribute that much compared to his usual digits every night but at least Brown took the helm but even that didn't stopped the Hawks from winning the game.

Ice Trae did it again, I know it's not yet a guarantee but by the looks of it, including the situation of Milwaukee Bucks, we might be seeing the underdogs who played in the recent play-in tournament confronting each other in the East semis.

If the Celtics win they will be playing Philly.  As a knick fan I cringe at seeing Trae do this but it's like a car wreck and can't look away.  Dude is so fun to watch with the game on the line.  You know he is shooting it and you can't stop him.  I can't believe Boston didn't double him right at half court.  I'd give an open shot to anyone on the team than Trae guarded.  Pressure is gonna build on Boston.

Yes, you can't say that they have home court advantage because they just lost 1 game. They let this own slip away from them, they had a good lead with 6 minutes to go, double digit advantage. All they have to do is hold on it and not allow the Hawks to score, however, after that Collins bank shot, the Hawks suddenly went on a 12-2 run if I'm not mistaken. And it was lead, but no one else but the Ice cold Trae Young.

Reminds of their series years ago with the Knicks, wherein the crowd was really hostile against him. But he had one game like this one, not a outside 3, but a clutch drive basket to win the game for them. And who would thought that they are going to win and push the Celtics to their limits now and maybe feeling the pressure now.

Especially if Atlanta wins Game 6, Game 7 will be a lot of fun and either team could win. Although we might say that Boston has the advantage because of their home court and they are the better team on paper, the fact that they already lost one game at home will give the Hawks a lot of confidence to win a road game in Game 7.

Anything can happen though, but this Atlanta Hawks is also a team that is underrated but can't be underestimated. As we all know, it was a team effort with of course the help of Trae Young in the absence of Murray, but in Game 6, I believe the latter will be return and that will bring another obstacle for the Celtics. Nevertheless, this will be a fun game and I'd would love this see their series drag up to Game 7.

Winding down.
April 26, 2023, 01:02:03 PM
Will we see another exciting match tomorrow between the Warriors and Kings? The last four games have been very entertaining, especially the last game where the Kings almost stole a win on the road.

Which team will win tomorrow and take the 3-2 series? And for the bettors out there, who do you think will win - the Warriors or the Kings?

As per the latest injury update, D. Fox is questionable with a finger injury, but hopefully he will play.

If Fox is out the Warriors will win, if he plays I think it will be a super close game and go down to the deciding last possessions.
Even though GSW are so weak at home this season they still have the experience and the "championship mentality".

The Kings know, if they lose this once it will be a big mountain to climb to win this series.

I expect Curry to carry the heavy load and hopefully Klay can do his part as well, even though it's just game 5 and "game-6-Klay" is not in full effect yet.  Grin

It's true that without Fox, the Kings will certainly struggle as he has been very clutch for his team. I doubt there will be a Game 7 if the Kings lose in Game 5, so it's a very important game for them, and they should defend their home court. Although I believe they are a good team, the Warriors excel more in this kind of situation due to their experience and defending champion status.

Fox presence is so important with Kings and without him in the rooster for sure Warriors with complete rooster will take advantage with this. But since Warriors known to be a bad team away maybe Kings could take advantage with this and win on game 5.  To many things happen in their series so let see what will be the result since if Kings could able to win this maybe this could give a huge statement that they can still win even if Fox is not around.

Fox has already come out and said that he will be playing no matter what. The question is how effective will he be with a broken hand. I suspect we’ll get our answer very early on as to whether or not he’s going to be able to put in the same effort. I’m happy today the Kings and Lakers are both playing. Should be a good night of basketball to watch.

In the same sense, all California teams will play later, sadly the fourth team was eliminated already because the Phoenix Suns was just too much for the whole team especially without PG and Kawhi on the floor. Games later will be interesting, I'm looking forward to see the Lakers eliminate the Grizzlies so that the Laker cores can rest for a while.

But for the GSW vs Kings, it might be a close one even if this will be a road game for the Warriors and of course, the Kings badly needed Fox to be certain on his condition as that specific injury might be in the way to help the team in the offense. We'll see about that later on.

Ice Cold Trae Young became the man who destroyed Boston. What kind of buzzer beater was that? Everyone expected Boston to finish the series in this game. Bookmakers didn't even give odds for the Boston win. It seemed so guaranteed. But Atlanta managed to extend the series. It was a super excited match.

Now we're watching the Clippers - Suns game. The Suns want to end the series in this game. The Clippers have a tough job because their stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are still missing. I think the Clippers managed to balance the game, but they'll be settled at the end of the game and the Suns will finish it tonight. Booker started the game very well. Phoenix plays very casually.
Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young has proven to the fans that he is the team's important player and is capable of defeating their rivals. He has a solid reputation as one of the NBA's most decisive players. I assumed we were a touch hurried to wrap up the game because we were hoping Boston would defeat the Hawks. Boston had solid odds to defeat their rivals, but things didn't go as planned, so they'll get another go at the battle. Another round of the game, Clippers Vs Suns. A tough one to decide, because they key players in Clippers are not available for the clash against Suns.

Trae's timing to hit those big shots gives them the win and lets them escape for an early exit. The win gives them another chance
and continue to chase to move up in the next round.

Tatum productions are missing here. I'm not sure why they didn't keep the ball to manage their decent lead under 2 minutes of the game.
On the opposite side, Trae takes charge and hits those important 3's to snatch the game away from the home team.

Honestly a great match between the Boston Celtics and Hawks. It was really closed and in the end, Trae Young was the one to get the Hawks over the line. The last quarter was absolutely unbelievable for the Hawks. The Boston Celtics probably thought that they have the match in the bag. Little did they know that the match is going to end in favour of the Hawks.

In the Bucks versus Miami, I will say that Bucks are actually going to be the winners. Not a certain prediction or anything like that can say that it is just a feeling. The match is going to be competitive in my opinion.

Today's Game: Denver Nuggets eliminate the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Phoenix Suns eliminate the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Please make your facts straight, Denver Nuggets eliminate Timverwolves while Phoenix Suns eliminate the Clippers

Congratulations to the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets for advancing to the second round. Which team do you think will advance in the next round of the playoffs?

Timverwolves has no chance at all. I feel sorry on Clippers for a having a rough playoffs without Kawhi and PG. They climb the regular season with all their effort but an injury with their star kills their championship dream once again. I think Clippers is the jinx team for Kawhi because he is always injured whenever he needed the most. Clippers has a chance for the title if they have a healthy roster. Westbrook and Powell are incapable to carry the team.

Close fight between Nuggets and Suns but I will go for Nuggets this time since Suns still have a hard time beating Clippers with just Westbrook and Powell in charge. Cheesy
