Did anyone read about the issue of Dejounte Murray?
Here are the details.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-investigating-hawks-dejounte-murray-for-making-contact-with-referee-in-game-4-loss-to-celtics-per-report/
And here is the clip about what he did which many of us may have not seen because he did it after the buzzer sounded in the 4th quarter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T-12HY7B1M

2 possible outcomes. Fine or suspension if proven he said or did something bad against the referee. Watching the clip though, he did make contact with the referee so there's a high chance suspension will happen after the investigation is complete.
Why would players do this? They already lost, forget what the referees called and bounce back in the next game. Now, he just jeopardized their chance to avoid a possible 4-1 in Boston.
That's just too foolish of him and this is not the first according to sources. He was also fined $20,000 back when he was with the Spurs for throwing the ball at the referees' legs. February 2022.
https://www.nba.com/news/spurs-dejounte-murray-fined-20000

It was a wrong move for Dejounte Murray, even if they are frustrated about the calls, he can not do something about it if the referee would have a side that he was in favor of it is a suspension for Dejounte Murray for sure but right now the NBA is still in an investigation on what kind of penalty they can give Dejounte Murray, maybe a fine with a suspension but what can be the best penalty for Murray, and if this is a crucial game for them, right now there are no given report about the issue,

Sacramento Kings reminds me of the Old GSW by the time when the splash brothers are not that popular and Harrison Barnes & Bogut still playing with them. They are just pure raw talent back then because they are all new players without any championship experience. Sacramento Kings has a lot of talented players and humble at the same time especially Fox. They just keep balling and trusting each like what Fox did at the last second even though Barnes missed. If that was another team like Grizzlies, Ja will surely take the last shot and not passed with his teammates. Sacramento has the potential to become GSW if they will just keep developing. They might lose to GSW this playoff but I'm sure this team has a future to grow a lot and become champions. A team like Grizzlies sucks. Watching Ja soloing the ball possession and becoming annoyed when he didn't receive it makes me hate more this team.

What can we expect if Mike Brown their coach is the former Assistant coach of the Golden State Warriors, where could Mike Brown copy that kind of formula, it is really imminent that the Sacramento Kings would become just like the Warriors in the future, but that is for another time, even if the Warriors would win this the Sacramento Kings has a bright future for sure,

Maybe your lack of sleep was worth it. The game was indeed very close and was open to the winner in the last shot. I really thought Sacramento would've won this game. GSW is indeed a very dangerous 3rd quarter team although the inexperienced Kings made their own rally in the 4th.

Now the Kings need to win in game 5 if they want to stay alive in the playoffs. The Kings are now feeling the pressure they never felt during the regular season. I am still hoping they can win this series against the defending champions but it will be an uphill battle. The best way for the Kings to win is to lead early and stop GSW's potential rallies. It will be very hard to beat the defending champions in the last few minutes.
It almost caused them the game though with Steph Curry called for a time out that they didn't. Lol. It was a mental lapse on his part or no one told everyone on the court that the Warriors doesn't have a timeout anymore. You can see Steve Kerr's reaction when Steph made that big mistake. So it was a T then Fox if I'm not mistaken made the 3's to cut the lead. If only former Warriors Barnes hit that shoot, it could have been a disaster for the Warriors as they will be down 3-1. Luckily Barnes missed that long 3 and it's a W for the Warriors.

Actually you are all wrong and just repeat what the other person wrote.

Curry thought they have another timeout because he didn't know/think about that they lost a timeout because of a challenge review they made. This challenge happened only 90 seconds before his mistake. In his head he had the right timeout count, just didn't consider they got charged this last timeout for the unsuccessful review of Kevon Looney's offensive foul.

So it wasn't a mental lapse, this rule isn't being used for that long actually.

Looking forward to the Lakers game tonight. Dillon Brooks gets to feel what it’s like to have all eyes on him. Hopefully for his sake he doesn’t get demolished again. This is the sort of series that changes a career path. Mentally, I’m not sure if Brooks has what it takes to recover from all the embarrassment headed his way.

By far this is the most interesting series to me in this season, it was nice to see some new faces again like the Sacramento Kings to actually give the defending champs a 0-2 run right from the start of their series. I was really surprised by that because they don't have that much experience compared to the Warriors but unfortunately for them, the Warriors bounced back after having 2 home games and tied their series.

Now if the Kings will carry on and eliminate the Warriors in the first round, I will bet on them until they reach the conference finals because if they can destroy the Warriors then I think they can destroy the remaining teams in the West now.

Draymond Green is returning after his 1 game suspension and will give them some defensive help inside. If 2 out of 3 players ( Steph / Klay / Poole ) make a good game shooting wise this will be a win for GSW.

I think it's gonna be a close game and I wouldn't wonder if it's open to the last shot. If the series returns to Sacramento being tied at 2:2 there might be a chance That the Kings are getting nervous. They are quite inexperienced in the playoffs and we all know what the GSW are, they are champions.

Wow, how right I was about this game. It was actually open until the last seconds. Also all 3 ( Curry, Thompson and Pool ) had ok shooting splits which secured the victory.

GSW taking a 10 point lead in the last quarter just to lose it within 3 minutes, what an exiting game this was.
Sacramento also deserved this win as they fought real hard in this one but the Warriors had the last laugh.

Game 5 will be interesting now. Will the Kings be able to stay strong at home or can the Warriors ride the momentum and overcome their problems in away games to steal this one?

Too early to say though, even if they will beat the Warriors, there are a lot of elite teams in the West that can give them problems. The good thing is that they are making this series very interesting for us basketball fans.

Curry almost turn in CWebb calling for timeout when there is none.

But in any case, if you look at the replay, he really did play good defense of Fox, causing him to give up the ball to Barnes. And then Steph running back to contest that Harrison shot. Yes, we can call it lucky. But definitely, the Warriors are looking good with Kerr's adjustment. Draymond not starting and coming off the bench. And Draymond has almost a triple double in this game.

2AM , wonder if I should sleep.

My problem, Golden State is playing in 2,5 hours and I really want to watch the game.  Grin

This is do or die. They win and the gain the momentum and Sacramento might get nervous. If they lose we all know it's over. Being this week on the road and having to win 3 straight with 2 on the road, that's gonna be impossible.

Kerr said that he miss to tell his player that they are no time out left and Curry has been trapped and he don't see any of his teammates around so he made that decision. That's big lapses but luckily they still manage the win since if Barnes hit that last shot for sure many fans will laugh at GSW especially on curry for that mistake. Now they are moving on with that and maybe they need to focus on next game since they are playing in road which can give Kings a great advantage. Warriors are struggling playing away so they should focus more to cut their curse and win on game 5.

That was a close one, if Curry didn't realized it sooner enough they could've lost that game because the opposing team will have some space while the home team is still waiting for the time out to happen. Both Kerr and the roster made that mistake because they weren't informed that they already used all the calls they had and I'd say they are just that lucky because that long three point determined the outcome of the game. Let's see again on Game 5 if they are still that lucky or the Kings will take control of the game.

A big question that can be answered after game 5, they need to push more since we witness how great the kings is playing now, they manage to rally back just got point away before the clock runout.

A win still a win, as we all know, even how close it was, the outcome still belongs to the winning team,
let's see the adjustments from both teams in their next schedule. The winner will have a small edge to
win the series.

Are you writing this? Doesn't sound human to me.  Grin
"The winner will have a small edge to win the series."  Sorry what???

The winner will have a HUGE edge to win the series obviously.
GSW wins and they can close the series at home, where in 2 games they were 8 point favorites to win. So basically they will be at 75-80% to win the series.

If the Kings win they will have 2 match points and no pressure for the game in San Francisco. If they win it's over and if they lose they know they can finish thing at home.

There are no adjustments to be made, both teams played good basketball and both had the chance to win. If the Kings hit the last second jumper it's 3:1 and basically over.

Now it's about a little rest and watch some game film.

Playoffs have been pretty interesting so far.  Of course my Chicago Bulls got knocked out early, just as I knew was going to happen (didn’t take a genius to know that was coming) but I am kind of happy to be seeing the LA Lakers playing well. I used to hate him and came to love him in Lebron. He’s the second best I’ve seen and we don’t have much time left with him. I sadly don’t think they have a chance to win it all, but I just don’t like ja Morant and want to see him and the Grizz go home. Put a few on the Lakers yesterday, that 1st Qtr lead had me feeling pretty good early on lol

Anthony Edwards absolutely carrying the Timberwolves on his back right now. The nuggets just won’t go away. Looks like he might have sealed the victory for them with only a few seconds left and a 4 point lead. The Nuggets coming back at the last second time and time again has made this an exciting game…
He made the last shot and I applaud his courage and his confidence. This is how stars are born and he made it happen, another highlight that will be added to his reel.
The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided a sweep which gives us more entertaining games to look forward to.
Nikola Jokic is frustrated with his shots but I think those are great looks, maybe the exhaustion also affected his shooting accuracy. On Tuesday, they will be back at home with the support of their fans, I bet they will finish it there. I just wish it won't be a blowout game because that won't be fun anymore.

Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Boston Celtics today which makes it 3-1 and are on the verge of losing the series in Boston Game 5.
Trae Young did great tonight 35 points and 15 assists but Collins who I thought would help out having an off night. Hunter is the one who stepped up his game but it's not enough to beat the remarkable strength of the Celtics. 6 players with double digits in points. 31 for Jason Tatum and 31 for Jaylen Brown. It's difficult to stop a team who have players that can score anytime and the Hawks have to do something about that.

Anthony Edwards was clutch, it was a big shot by him when the lead was cut down to one by Denver.

Alexander-Walker too was big time, hitting back to back 3's and playing good defense on Murray. And then Mike Conley with ice cold 2 free throws and an earlier 3 in the OT that started their big run.

So there's no sweep for the Nuggets.

Dillon Brooks called for the Flagrant Foul 2 and was ejected from the game. The same as what James Harden did back at Brooklyn where he hit the balls of the defender, this time Brooks hit Lebron's important eggs too.  Grin Well, that's a good way to stop him from making 40 points in a game but in exchange for him being thrown out and not helping his teammates.
Ja Morant exploded in the 4th quarter but not enough to bring them back closer to tying or winning the game.

Lakers won!
Lebron James had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. But the most effective player was Austin Reaves, he definitely played like it was a championship game hustling in both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. 13/6/2 It cannot be seen on paper but he did great today.

Yeah, we've seen the Austin Reaves is really a good catch for the Lakers this season. And almost all of there new players are contributing in this series against Memphis. Beasley though, seems to be off again although he has just been given a few minutes to play in this series.

AD another double double, he make it tonight for game 2 lackluster performance.

And I really like how Lebron takes the tempo in the 4th when they still have that lead and not allow Ja Morant to take over the game. Although Ja exploded with 45 points.

You can't count out Rui Hachimura when we're talking about how far the Lakers have gone currently after a slow start at the regular season. Rui has been BIG in the play-in and the playoffs, putting up huge numbers and is so efficient, not to mentioned he's also been a huge factor defensively. I love how the Lakers played an air tight defense early in game 3 and that made the Grizz shot 3/25 If I remembered it correctly.
One more win for the Lakers and this series is done. The Lakers has a good momentum in game 3, but let's watch out for Ja as he also had his momentum with that mini run late in the 4th with that 24 straight pts. I just hope nothing major happened with his legs after that dunk he made before the game ended. Looks like a minor cramps, but I hope that's just what it is.

First 2 games, Hachimura was big, but I think it's more of his defense in game 3.

What a big win by the Warriors to put the series in 2-2. But never count the Kings out, they almost have it in game 4. Warriors thought they had this in the bag. But if Barnes shot that 3, they obviously win the game. But they will be back in this homecourt and the Warriors needs to get over the slump of not winning in the road. Crucial game 5 for both teams next.
