I took the 1.89 ML Lakers yesterday, now it's rolling at 1.84 only. I guess a lot of gamblers do agree that the Lakers will snatch another on at Memphis home. This will be bad for the Grizzlies if ever it happens.
Unfortunately, Morant is inactive in tonight's game against the Lakers. However, it looks like the Grizzlies aren't worried about that and aren't going to give up, as they lead by 15 points after the end of the first half. So if the Grizzlies continue at this pace, there's a chance they can beat the Lakers tonight. By the way, the Lakers are performing pretty poorly, especially Davis, who has only made 1 of 9 field goal attempts in the first half.
Yeah, Xavier Tillman made a big contribution to the team. He was 5/5 in the first half until he shot the buzzer-beater that made him miss one. Then, he continued his offensive aggressiveness in the 2nd half and he ended up with 22 points and 13 rebounds. I like it when players are stepping up their game whenever their stars are out. This is the playoffs, you cannot just cry in the corner but you have to adjust to the situation. Very good game for the 24 year old player who physically looks like a veteran.
TBH, many people aren't looking on how deep the bench of the Grizzlies are. Many are focusing on Morant alone because of how good he is, but let's give credits to their bench as well for stepping up on this game without him. Aldama, Tillman, Konchar, Jones, Kennard. The whole team is just amazing on this Game 2, and it's a must win for them or else, they have a high chance of getting swept because they will be playing 2 games on the road after this game. Credits to Tillman for stepping up defensively, and offensively. I just hope that Morant will come back in Game 3.
81 first-half points for the Milwaukee Bucks. They are hot! Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday are both dominating the game. I am glad I made the right decision to bet for them before the game started with just a -4.5 spread. All they need is to preserve this lead now. Be careful with turnovers and wish no one in the Miami Heat goes hot and cut this lead to a single digit.
Just for the records, that 81 points is the new franchise record for most points for the first half for the Bucks in the playoff game.
Ohhh wait aside from that record, they did another history again as they just tied the most number of threes in the playoffs in a single game with 25 threes that made by the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2016.
That 24-2 run that they've made on the 2nd quarter. It just shows that they are still a good team without they all-star Giannis. 7 players got double digits as well, and 6 of them had 1 3PT shot FG as well. What's amazing in this game is that, the total points they got in 3 quarters in Game 2 is even higher than the points that they've got in Game 1.
It's impressive that six players had double-digit production, that's insane. Their ball movement seems to improve without Morant, so it begs the question: are they the better team without Morant?
No. They're still a good team even without him, but his contributions, and his energy that he's being given when he's on the court can't be unmatched by anybody on their team. Still they're a better team with him obviously, but without him, we can say that they can still compete on top teams because of how deep their bench are.
