Unfortunately, Morant is inactive in tonight's game against the Lakers. However, it looks like the Grizzlies aren't worried about that and aren't going to give up, as they lead by 15 points after the end of the first half. So if the Grizzlies continue at this pace, there's a chance they can beat the Lakers tonight. By the way, the Lakers are performing pretty poorly, especially Davis, who has only made 1 of 9 field goal attempts in the first half.
The Memphis Grizzlies took a double digit lead, but now in the 3rd in seems that the lead is just about 6.
I have the Lakers +6.5 so it's going to be interesting specially down the stretch. Hachimura and Reaves again the focal point of their comeback in the 3rd. 4th will be crucial for both teams, Bane and Brooks on the bench because of foul trouble. I'm expecting the Lebron James carrying the Lakers in the 4th quarter .
We're currently in the fourth quarter, and we'll see if the home team can even the series without Morant. This is a must-win game for them if they want to avoid an early exit. The Lakers are a capable team, so Memphis needs to protect their lead in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
But Lakers missing lots of shots in the outside as compare to their first game here at Memphis.
Still though, they got what they wanted here, to steal at least 1 game and now they are going back to their homecourt and defend it.
Good for them, they deserved the win as they played good defense against the Lakers. It was a low-scoring affair, with both teams' combined score not even reaching 200 points.
Davis was very limited, only scoring 14 points on 4-14 shooting, making this one of the nights where he struggled big time. On the Memphis team, they shared the ball well, and Tillman stepped up as the leading scorer with 22 points.
It's impressive that six players had double-digit production, that's insane. Their ball movement seems to improve without Morant, so it begs the question: are they the better team without Morant?
