Well, 6% isn't equal to 0%, and besides the Warriors played really well on their home (in fact they're one of best in terms of home wins this regular season). They only need 2 wins on their home to regain the momentum coming into Game 5 on the road again. We've known the Warriors to be one of the worst road teams this season, so no surprise as to why they lost 2 games for the first time since the Curry Era.

It is worth noting that there was only one time in the last playoffs when a team was able to recover from 0-2 and win the series, while the 2021 playoffs had as many as 4 such comebacks. So the Warriors really still have a chance, but it will be very difficult for them to win the next two games even though they will have the support of the fans in their home arena. As I see it, the Warriors' problem is that only Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins are trying to do something on the court, while most of their other teammates look useless.

End of the first half between the Clippers and the Suns.

Ad the start of the second quarter, the Clippers takes a double digit advantage. But when Durant come back in the game, he took over the scoring and then him and Booker tie the score with the Booker 3 to end the quarter, 59-59.

Phoenix now a huge favorite ML and handicap at -4.5.

Boston Celtics with 2-0 lead into the series against Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young is freaking weakling and is extremely overrated, this dude should be the face of any NBA franchise imo, Dejounte Murray his more locked in that him, and Young playing tonight today as though he was being forced into playing basketball, playing very nonchalantly and zero sense of responsibility and urgency, he turns the ball over at every single chance he gets, he could have just faked an injury or whatever to not play the game, I've never felt this highly irritated by any NBA player who is supposed to be face of team showing extreme lack of concern, I've seen him get frustrated in games over no call fouls that adversely affects their result, but today's isn't one of those nights, he just rather seem not interested and wouldn't even have the ball for a few before ditching it out and not making any sort of off the ball movement for his team, and if it's not he just hands it over to the opponent. what sham of a so called superstar, yuck!

Just another bad night for him, or it is the suffocating defense of Boston Celtics that really put a stop on Trae Young. He is not known to be a choker, he closes game just like the previous playoffs with the Knicks.

Maybe he is just feeling the pressure now or just want out of game 2 and wanted to go back to Atlanta and at least win 1 game.

Nevertheless, I don't see them winning the series against a complete Boston Celtics team, both end of the floor, they are hard to beat.

I really can't make any excuse for him tonight honestly, even if he just wants out and looking forward to getting back to Atlanta that really don't make no sense enough for him to get nonchalant, he could have spoken to the coach at halftime or something to not get back out there. He's playing Boston Celtics at TD Garden for crying out loud, and Trae Young is one of the best a creating contact to get a call, Celtics being aggressive should have been used to his own advantage, when you get 2-3 of Celtics players into early fouls, they usually become less physical, but Trae wouldn't even try at all.

That's a series I'm so very sure I'm done watching for this.

I see that Woj is reporting Draymond Green will be suspended for stomping on Sabonis' ribs during game 2, but I've also read that isn't true and he isn't going to be suspended.  Anyone know what the actual news is or do we need to wait for an official announcement?

I also heard that Morant is injured, but who knows...  It's the playoffs.  Some guys will play with broken legs and other guys won't play with a hang nail.  We'll find out soon enough either way.
There are reports that most likely Dray would be allowed to play game 3. Since Sabonis kinda grabbed his leg. Still nothing concrete though, its all speculation but most likely he'll be allowed to play the next game.

2-0, who would thought that?

The Kings are really upping their defense and chemistry in this game. They didn't panic even when the Warriors made a comeback courtesy of Klay Thompson's two 3-point shots. The loss of Draymond Green was a big factor as he got emotional and kicked Sabonis in the stomach, causing his ejection from the game. I hope this doesn't happen again, as they need to win game 3. If they still lose, I would say the Warriors' dynasty will be over this playoffs.

It was a great win for the Kings, and they deserved it. Everyone played well.

You are right, who would have thought.
In history only around 6% of teams came back after being down 0:2 in the first round of the playoffs, so it's gonna be a rough series for the Warriors.
~
Losing Draymond was a big blow, he once again lost his cool even though I can understand him a little bit. Sabonis held on to his foot so he reacted and kicked him, but he kicked him a little bit too much, haha. Let's see what the NBA will rule in this case, he might even get suspended and once again weaken his team because of his behaviour.

We've known the Warriors to be one of the worst road teams this season, so no surprise as to why they lost 2 games for the first time since the Curry Era.

As for Draymond Green getting ejected. I'm a Warrior fan, but I was disappointed on how he stepped Sabonis' stomach, but in other angle, it's obvious that he held his foot. It's just that what Green did was horrible, and it can lead to injury. After the incident, he is mocking the Kings' fans, and if you watched their last 2 games, Kings' fans are one of the loudest right now, but he don't care. Well, that's what you get after playing many times in the playoffs.

Chris Paul has lost his last 14 games when Scott Foster was the referee. Will tonight be the night he breaks that streak? With the Suns down 0-1 in the series, they certainly need it. As ridiculous as Scott Foster’s hate for Chris Paul is, I’m not sure I’d go against it. I’m honestly not sure how Scott Foster still has a job at this point…
Can we put our bet now on the Clippers because of this one? Cheesy
Well, after I saw your post, I already put my bet on the Clippers at 4.10. Kind of funny for me to put my bet just because of a referee, but losing 14 games to a single referee is just hilarious. Scott Foster has been a referee for a very long time already, and has lots of controversies in the past as well.

I guess he'll do what he needs to do as a referee, and that is "TO CONTINUE THAT STREAK". Cheesy

I guess this article coming from Fox News is reliable enough? LINK

And while there has been no word from the NBA as of Tuesday afternoon, it’s reported that Green is "unlikely" to be suspended for Game 3 of Golden State’s playoff series against the Kings, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Sabonis held on to his foot so he reacted and kicked him, but he kicked him a little bit too much, haha. Let's see what the NBA will rule in this case, he might even get suspended and once again weaken his team because of his behaviour.
First, it was Sabonis who is at fault here that is why he cannot admit anything during the post-game interview. Holding the foot of one player to stop him is also a dangerous act. What Draymond Green did was also wrong but the first one that he was trying to get away from him was the right thing, the stomp was his only mistake.
If they will suspend Green, they should do the same with Sabonis. Consider the what if's. If Draymond didn't try to get away he could land with his hand first or his head which will lead to injuries. He already got what he deserved for a flagrant 2 and just because Sabonis missed both shots doesn't mean he should be penalized further.
They had the possession which was supposed to be the Warriors' ball before the incident.
If NBA doesn't like these things to happen again, penalized those who start it. It won't come to that if no one lits the fire.

Durant needs to step up and push everyone they need to work as one and show that aggressiveness to win the game, they are inside their home court and fans are there to support them.

Seems inappropriate for me to say that Kevin Durant needs to step up when he's always showing good consistency and A+ level performance since he wears the Suns' jersey and if we refer to his Game 1 stats. Actually, it's not that the Suns' lose because of a lack of aggressiveness from him or to those parts of the core but sh*t happened to them during the last few minutes of that game. Kudos to Los Angeles Clippers for keeping the rhythm until the end that's why they won.

Looking forward to both teams in a close game situation again here in Game 2 where it's hard to predict who will be the winner until the final buzzer rings.

Betting-wise, as a pure bettor and not a fan of either of the teams, the handicap for the Clippers seems worth trying.

I am sure that the Suns will win, but to have those odds, I can't help myself and wager on the Clippers. I am not saying that they will win, obviously Suns are the favourites here and most likely I will lose, but at the end of the day if I am going to lose, let it be at least for high odds, it would feel alright to lose if you wager on Clippers, but if I wager on Suns and lose that would be a lot worse feeling. Plus going to take Memphis this time around as well, I know people like the Lakers and all, and I like them too, but they are already ahead, they make take sit this one out, and then win 2 in a row at home, which would make the series 3-1, lose another one at Memphis, and then finish off at Los Angeles, that's what I can see happening, not sure of course just my guess.
I think Ja Morant is out so I don't think i'd put any money on the Grizzlies. I'm not telling you how to bet as it's your money but the Grizzlies big star will likely be out the rest of the year with a bad hand. They don't play until tomorrow so you have time to do some research.

This ruins that whole series if he's out.  I was probably most excited about watching this series of all of them since La Lakers had been rolling in the second half of the season and just because of how exciting Ja's play is, and I wont lie all the drama around Ja with him and that gun and what not makes this series even the more compelling ...but not , ehhh..I'll watch just because these are Lebron's final years and he's obviously special...but I look forward to their next series to see better competition (watch the Grizz win the series w/out Ja now that I say this lol).

I was anticipating better moneyline odds for the Suns this time after Clippers won game 1 but the bookmakers have other plans hehe. I am also expecting them to even the series but line at 1.28 is not just worth the risk. I guess I will have to go for handicap for game 2. It could be another closely contested game so Clippers +7.5 at 1.98 looks better.
I would expect the Suns to win tonight but Clippers +7.5 is probably the bet to make. I don't think the Suns can cover the line. As much as I dislike Westbrook, I think he does better than 3-19 shooting tonight. Hoping his defense slacks a little and Durant takes over the game, either way I think 7.5 is too many points to give.

Numbers working against Chris Paul, so who knows, but it's going to be hard to go against that stats.

They are down and Kawhi seems to have gotten into his sweet spot in this playoffs, not a dangerous sign for the Phoenix Suns. But they still got Durant, who has plenty of experience too in this kind of games so I think he will step up and try to bring the series into 1-1.

Never thought that the Warriors will be down 0-2, but now they are going home and the chances are high to take a win next game to make it closer against the Kings.

It's time to pay back to those people who are willing to cheer for you. The core players need to work
together in bringing the confidence to each other. They need the win as they can't afford to lose both home games.

I don't know if it's a health issue or what, but Durant hasn't looked too good to me since returning from injury.  I'm actually surprised that the Suns were 8-0 with him in the lineup before the last game.  He seems to be forcing shots instead of finding the open man and is getting pushed around by the Clippers.  I'm hoping the come back strong tonight with a dominating win or I fear that the Suns might not make it out of the first round.  From a betting standpoint, the odds to bet on the Clippers is looking much more appealing than a bet on the Suns.  I do think (hope) the Suns win tonight though.

That is a good image of statistics and a good point. Sacramento Kings indeed are surprising a lot of people and I must say they deserve this success(although it is just 2 games in the playoffs, not an actual success). I don't expect they would advance a lot in the playoffs but they are a force to be reckoned with.

Green's move was of course inexcusable. He was just utterly dumb to do that and it was excessive. Even doing that kind of thing in the regular season is really inexcusable, he left his team weak in the important playoff series. That just sucks. I like his passion on the basketball court usually but these kind of thing just makes me angry. These kind of acts should be punished by the teams.

Even though I believe that this was a special case and not like those "guaranteed" ones, I still think that Warriors may end up losing. I saw the first game and thought that Warriors would do better on the second one, but the defense is just not there this season at all.

On their road games Warriors sucked all season long and I believed that if they can get even one win on the road, they would just get the series easily but they failed so far, maybe they will get the fifth game if they win at home twice in a row, but that will definitely be a difficult task. Like I said, this is not a sure thing for Kings, it is not guaranteed, Warriors could very well be one of those 7.2%, but that would be very difficult without a doubt, Kings look like they have the advantage.
