Great ending between the Nets and Trailblazers tonight. Durant missed a shot with a couple second left but Royce O’Neal was there to clean it up and get the win. Ben Simmons had a great night coming off the bench and shooting 6-6 with 12 rebounds. Maybe they’re hoping coming off the bench will help Ben like it seems to be helping Westbrook. Kevin Durant ended up with 35 and 8.

Yeah, I thought that the game will go into OT, Nets try to hold on their lead in the last 2:50.

But the TrailBlazers keeps coming back and then and 1 by Nurkic ties the score. They just have to play good defense and they actually did against Durant. Although KD could have made that shot easy as that is his sweet spot.

Nevertheless the Blazers wasn't able to secure the rbound and O'neal might that tip.

That shooting percentage tonight will be a pain in the ass for his critics, I mean, they should really consider not going overboard because Ben is still an NBA player and have the capability to improved especially when he knows exactly where he should be. his offense and defense help a lot this time despite Kevin Durant's unusual performance. This is how star players should be, when one is not having a good day, others should know how exactly what to do and some of them will take the opportunity to take action to save their team from losing.

Here are the results for the picks on the game today, and it is not good because the Portland Trail Blazers have ruined my parley,

Portland Trail Blazers VS Brooklyn Nets SCORE 107 - 109 - LOST

The Portland Trail Blazers have a good start which is why I am really confident that they will win this match but against another good start turns back at the end because the Nets have flipped the tables, and the Nets will eventually win it was really a close game, Ben Simmons got a double-double performance of 13 rebounds and 15 points, while Royce O'Neale got a triple-double performance of 10 rebounds 11 assist and 11 points,

Sacramento Kings VS San Antonio Spurs SCORE 130 - 112 - WIN

The Kings have a great spread from start to end Sacramento Kings from start to end they were very dominating against the Spurs, well it could be great if the Blazers won aswell but my Parley has been ruined,

Los Angeles Clippers VS Detroit Pistons SCORE 96 - 91 - WIN

This was a close game actually and the Piston had a great start but again the Clippers have dragged the momentum on their side and win,

Brooklyn Nets looking different when Joe Harris goes wild. Now 4 of 4 in deep. If this will continue, they might win against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Defense and less turnovers will be their other key to win the game since KD and Harris can cover the offensive end. Seth Curry has not yet found his rhythm, let's see what he can do in the 2nd half.

Sacramento Kings going strong, Spurs trying to stay close.

Look out! The Clippers Kawhi Leonard was upgraded to questionable status. He might play against Detroit Pistons. Let's see if he will be there during warm-ups. There will be a big change in the line if ever it's proven that he will play. I can't remember if it was -10.5 yesterday.

Ah so this is probably where some social media posts quoting from KD that the league is different without Kahwi came from. It sounds strange that they may allow a "questionable" Kawhi to play hehe. His image of refusing not to play when not 100% still lingers.

.....

Anyone following the Wolves? I'm checking their standing from time to time since they gave up a lot for one player. This may be too early to judge but it doesn't look like it is paying off.

Suns' strange Jae Crowder saga could be nearing its end, per reports
If you guys remember he asked for a trade when he found out he will not be part of the starting team. (although he is still denying it)
This will be good news for Jae Crowder, he can go back and play again while it's still early in the season.
Quote
The team reportedly was close to finalizing a three-team trade before Wednesday's game
There's no clear information yet about what teams are included in the trade but I am guessing one of those will be Miami Heat.

It's not that Dwight is recruiting Melo, there's one team that wants him and they're on the talks.

For these two, they'll surely be treated as superstars in the T1 League and many fans from Asia are for sure going to come and seek and watch these two live.

These leagues are investing to these great players that have no longer contract to the NBA. Actually, that's a good opportunity and there will be some place and new home for these once-great players that are not renewed and given a contract by their teams.

Ok thanks mate, and as I have research, and regarding Dwight Howards playing in T1, the league said that their tickets was sold out in 10 minutes upon releasing this news. So for sure many wanted to see how Dwight will play in their league and he could bring tickets sales.

And imagine if Melo decided to play in T1, gonna be beneficial on both sides, Melo earning still good enough millions per year and then the league making a killing in tickets sales because basketball fanatics wanted to see Melo play.

But still up to Melo Anthony to pursue basketball outside of the NBA.
Seriously that quick for solding out all the tickets? Just wow! There's now the potential that T1 teams if they acquire more NBA players that no longer has bond to the league and its teams will give them this idea that most of their games will be sold out.

Dwight gets a good contract with them and I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of perks to him while being attached to his current team.

And the same might happen for Melo, there will be more sold out tickets for the entire league and perks would be also given to him. I'm still trying to find some updates if he has already signed in but, I have found none.

I saw the news about Dwight Howard is playing on the league in Taiwan. There's now a follow up news that a team there too, the GhostHawks are wanting to take Carmelo Anthony to their team.

So, it's very likely that he'll take the sign there and play for that league. I felt bad again for Melo when he's got stuck with no team want to take him just like the past seasons when he's on the same situation.

But hopefully, he gets to sign there and play against Dwight's team.

I'm not aware that he is recruiting Carmelo Anthony, but who knows.

And if I'm not mistaken, Dwight said that he is making a cool $1 million per year, so it's like he is still playing with the veterans minimum in the NBA. But what Howard like maybe is that he will be treated as the superstar in his team in Taiwan and it could bring back his confidence once again.

Maybe that will be the sales pitch of Howard for Carmelo, join him and play make money and become a superstar once again.

Not sure if Melo will go to that far, I also considering the statement above that he might consider retiring if there's no team that will
sign him maybe it's really time for him to chill and retired.

He can focus now with his father's life career, mentoring his kid in making his way to NBA, money wise Melo might have enough to
enjoy the luxuries that he invested from his NBA careers.

We might be hearing news and update about this and that will be the time that we can conclude about his future plan.
Melo wouldn't be the first person in the world to leave their wife to go work somewhere else, his wife could stay in LA or wherever and then Melo could leave to play there and fly whenever he can back to USA, but that would require a lot of money. This dude is someone who made a ton of money and I think money would not really be a big deal unless it's stupid amount of money to leave on the table, like 10+ million a year and I doubt anyone will offer him that much.

So long story short he won't be playing anywhere, unless he really wants to just play and then in that case any team would do for any money, but I doubt that’s the case for him, he looks like ready to retire.

There is this defensive problem going on with Warriors that they have been having hard time with. I feel like it will take a while before they could fix it, but at the end of the day its a valid problem. Draymond is not as good as he used to be, Klay of course had a terrible injury which limits his lateral movement as we all know, and Curry was never a great defender. Which means no matter how well Curry plays, they are going to end up losing because that is how they are designed, to play with a good defense. The years they became champions before Durant, they played with amazing defense first, even though they were known for their offense.

Knicks had a great win in Denver on the road.  Yep Denver was without jokic but going out west in Denver is never easy no matter the lineup.  2-0 on the west coast trip they need to get some wins behind them and clear space between being .500

Thibs is now locked into a 9 man rotation which seems to be working.  They go into golden state Friday night, I'm not expecting much from that visit but that's why they play the games right!  Glad nba is getting underway, fall is always the best season for sports.

It's good that they got a win against the Denver team, but obviously, they don't have their MVP and it was a very close game.

But against the Warriors at home, it might be tough for them. Curry just drop 50 points but they lost on the road against the Phoenix Suns.

For sure they want to have a good bounce in their own homecourt so as much as we wanted for the Knicks to upset the Warriors, it will be hard pressed for them.

snip

Yes, it's possible and there's a rumor of LeBron going to Phoenix Suns which I think may be a good deal for them and to CP3 to be able to play alongside him. I don't think they'll have that chemistry for a trio if KD will be traded there but I doubt if they'll play alongside with each other.
I do not know if this setup will be successful. First, instead of going younger, getting Lebron together with CP3 gets the team age older. CP3 and Lebron are now getting injuries prone so that will leave Durant playing most of the time. This team composition is good for the tickets but will not win a championship. And what will happen to Booker and Ayton? I think the Suns are building their future on them which I think is better than getting old Lebron and Durant on the team.
It's not Durant and LeBron on the same team to the Suns but only LeBron is what I mean. I don't recall LeBron was that a liability now to the Lakers, the man is averaging 24.9 this season already. Maybe he age but that doesn't mean he's that weak already, we can still see him to be stronger until Bronny gets to the NBA.
I am genuinely asking, has Lebron actually made a comment about his intention to play with Bronny? I am really asking if there is an issue like that. If so, I think it is great. But otherwise, maybe we shouldn't expect so much from him anymore. I know he is still in good shape and he is treating his body amazingly, much respect, but he is really old to be a superstar anymore. I mean in the coming years. His trade to Phoenix really doesn't make sense as it is mentioned above, they will be literally too old together. And what will Suns do after they retire soon, immediate rebuilding?

Obviously, it's hard to get into the NBA because there is a lot of competition among players, and many teams prefer young players over veterans. However, I still don't understand why NBA teams aren't interested in Melo. Of course, Melo is no longer in his prime, but he's still a good scorer, and he could be a great bench player for a minimum salary.
Honestly, it's sad to see the sunset of the careers of players like Howard and Melo.
Well, age is the factor I guess. Whenever the prime players have been aging, they're having fewer opportunities even if they want to play. Just like Dwight Howard, he's said that he's given that many contributions to the Lakers for their championship yet they won't give him even the minimum offer. That's what they're feeling with those teams showing no interest in signing them. I think the entire basketball community is upgrading and with these leagues abroad, they're onboarding ex-NBA players.

Just hope that there will be a team that will consider Melo. The season still has a long way to go.

Not the first time that Melo experienced being unsigned for long. In 2019, Portland Trail Blazers give him a chance to play again after a year of absence on which he is thinking of retirement already. A season after, he intends to stay in the Blazers for a year deal.

No one knows if that thing will happen to him again.

Yes, that time, perhaps team wanted to give Carmelo his chance, after all, he might have gain respect from team owners. And so he was given a chance, and he actually did play good in Blazers, but his contract was not extended, and then with the help of Lebron, was able to move to Lakers.

Same thing happened, just another year, he can score, but he can't play defense and maybe that's what keeping other teams from getting him.

I think for majority of them, they are not only looking for scorer, but a two way player that can get into defense as well, and Carmelo doesn't have the legs to play that before he is no longer in his prime.

Melo's chance is still in the hand of any team that will offer him to sign a contract, no update yet but the season is still in the early part
and anything can happen.

It's just a need of someone who can really help him to get another team
to play with. Maybe Melo is no longer in his prime, but scoring, he still
can contribute good numbers.
