Almost upset if Blackwater was able to do more in their garbage time. Ginebra is really not consistent for the past 4 games. Yes, they were able to pin down Blackwater with a big lead that the team behind has few chances to recover.

I'm sure lots of gamblers got wrecked on the Handicap Live betting. If I'm not mistaken -14.5 @ 1.9 is the last odds I remembered during 2Q.

Blackwater is now on their 27th losing streak. More to come lol.

That's something Bettors will think about this team, maybe they are the local version of Lakers, good in papers but they are not

performing well. Its something that they needed to workout inside, garbage time still important for the fans especially bettors who

back them up to cover the handicap Tongue "Sunog" I know most of us understand that it's not shit but an irresponsible gaming from

the top favorite.. Better luck next time!

Gin kings won the game but handicap unable to cover not sure why Ginebra allows Blackwater to make lots of score during that garbage time.

Sorry lost for bettors who take Gin kings handicap. Huh Embarrassed

We can't really trust the large lead because the leading team has a chance to relax the whole game while the lower team will try their best to make a run. If the lower team thinks that they can shorten the lead, they will do it by force.

When Ginebra leads by 20+, I'm sure lots of live bettors placed a bet hereby that margin since what is Blackwater anyway in the league? They are considered a bonus round for every team.

What was actually the point spread that time? I did not bother to check as I think the game is not interesting to check, of course as expected, Blackwater loses again and their losing streak continues. Actually, I've seen a lot of situations like that in the PBA, when you think the favorite would cover the spread because of their big lead but suddenly the underdog scored a lot in the 4th quarter, so lessoned learn, the game is not yet over until it's officially over.

Blackwater losing streak is not good at all, it will hard to get sponsors for them because of their bad records and if the owners is experiencing a big loss, selling the team should be the last option. They must reset their whole system and look for a better strategy, 26 losing streak could be worst in PBA history, they are already holding this title.
Their losing streak will probably a streak that no one can ever break maybe in the next decades.
Who in the hell wants to have a lose more than at least 20+ for example? No one wants to have that losing streak. They tried to sell their franchise in 2020 but because it was the start of the pandemic, nobody tried to buy it but maybe they will try and sell it again after this season. Yes their past bad records is a hinder for them to sell the franchise that easy but if they don't really like joining the PBA already then they have no choice.

They have a good players as well but I don't understand why they are not working as a team, they can win a game against the other team, maybe they are luck of confidence though the skills are there but still they need to work on that problem and focus on every game one at a time.
They maybe have good players but not enough to get at least one win.
Who are the good players in their team? Most of them are just average players and some are old ones. Its just very sad to see that a team are continuously losing consecutive times but maybe this just shows that the team doesn't have any interest in the league anymore. They've shown it already when the owner announced that he wants to sell it. That alone is enough to say that the interest isn't there anymore. I'm pretty sure that they will sell their franchise after this season or maybe after next season.

Still, I'm waiting for which team will lost to this Blackwater team. I'm very excited to see it Cheesy.

Thank you for sharing this, I just heard it just now from the news about the Philippine FIBA team beats India and I just thought that it will be discussed here. Too bad I wasn't able to place bet on it, next match I won't miss it they will be competing against New Zealand which also has a good players but still I will bet on the Philippines team since I think they can beat them with more than 5 points (just an estimate).

Does anyone know what bookies offers good odds?

Philippines vs New Zealand would be played on Sunday evening so there is time for us to bet on what team we would be backing. New Zealand would be the heavy favorite on this match so be very careful if you are planning to bet for the Philippines, i mean go for the highest HC if possible. I like the Philippines to win this game but NZ is too much for the current Gilas line-up.

Most popular bookies have almost similar odds.

Though I did not bet on this particular game I'm sure that competition is available on the betting sites.

If you are betting on sports, I'm sure you know the popular websites here.

IMO, the PBA have still a lot to do so that they can remain in the 1st spot and continue to bring entertainment to the people locally and internationally.  Among other professional leagues, it is true that they lost one of their founding teams in the PBA but that doesn't mean that they are not worthy to watch. As of now, they are dealing with the KBL to help strengthen the basketball association in the Asia.
We believe that they can still do that. But with the recent actions that they do, I don't think that it's the same as before.
They've got a lot of choices to be made before but they've chosen to not to do those certain changes and it has made them look confident from the situation despite a lot of new coming proleagues have been made and born.

And why did Blackwater owner say in the past that he is gonna sell his team?

That plan is just a product of disappointment since the Blackwater CEO's ego was hit by the PBA since they think they won't have a violation for doing practice while it's not allowed during pandemic. That's the reason why after that violation, Blackwater suddenly announced that they will sell the franchise.

Look at what happened in the upcoming days and weeks after that plan, the CEO become cool and goes back to his usual self and didn't push selling the franchise. That's the story and not related to the PBA politics like what you are thinking I believe.

Probably because no one is interested in buying the team? I don't know, seems like PBA now is not anymore as entertaining as in the past, maybe because we can easily access to watch other leagues like local and international leagues. Either way, I still hope for the best of our Philippine basketball leaguel.

No, that is not the case because there's a lot of interested buyers for sure as there's also a lot who wants to own a team in the league. But there's no information about why did the CEO suddenly announced to sell the franchise and what happened why he changed his mind few weeks after. PBA can get over this, hopefully they would survive much more longer.

Well, this is just my personal opinion, I could be wrong and I hope so because I still want to see the PBA to continue entertaining people. The season is far from over, there's still plenty of time, for sure we will hear some update regarding the Alaska team on who is the lucky person who bought it.

Selling a team is not easy, it will go to the due process and PBA will not easily approve it without even trying to solve the problem because this can be a big loss to the league so we can expect a change of mind after the announcements, as long as its not final we can still expect a different result.

Yes, it's not good for the team and the principal sponsor or company to have that record but it is never been easy to sell a team and look for some company who will gladly continue what they started. Somehow, there are other who wants to buy to spot, to have a new fresh start in the league with their own name in the franchise. The PBA can't just put on presssure on teams that can't afford anymore.

Did you guys watch the game between Gilas and India?

Here's some highlights for those who were not able to watch.

India - Pilipinas | Mga Highlight sa Basketball - #FIBAWC 2023 Qualifiers

FINAL SCORE 64 India - Philippines 88

Gilas with a strong lineup dominated India, the young squad could certainly give some trouble on the teams that are on their level, most specifically the Asian teams. By the way, about betting, what was the spread on this particular game?

This statement released on the year 2020, and its been two years now so technically they are able to survive the pandemic turbulence with a help of PBA terms and conditions, this is why they are still in the competition with the same team owner.

Yes you wre right that mate they have a good team/player line up some of veteran players to they have but I don't think so what is the main problems why they are always losing their game. An hour ago I watched their game against genebra which sad to say they are loss but in the game 1-3 Quarter they are not working as Team  but when the 4rth and final Quarter and they are working as a team they scored over 30+ points in one quarter which means that if they are put their best in the early Quarter and have a good communication and team work I think they can win   against other team.

Anyone knows the total losing streak of Blackwater already?
They're sitting at 26 as of this moment and with the game already over against Ginebra, it already is 27.

Well, other teams don't want to get defeated by Blackwater because it might be shameful for them for some reasons. Now the Blackwater are 0-8 after this game and they only have 3 games left this season. Maybe they will follow that lead, I don't see any reason why they have to stay if there're no changes that will be done to this current roster, the franchise needs to improve otherwise better to sell this franchise to the other interested company to join PBA and be more competitive than them.

off topic:

Gin kings won the game but handicap unable to cover not sure why Ginebra allows Blackwater to make lots of score during that garbage time.
