Nice to see that game schedules are out. I miss that "Paper" they are posting on their Facebook when they release the schedule.

This will be a good topic to share here, what do you think guys about the future of NorthPort Batang Pier? Just to give others an idea, their players, Robert Bolick, Greg Slaughter, and Nico Elorde have yet to sign an extension with the Batang Pier.

The PBA is just about a few days to go to commence again but still no progress about these players' respective contracts.

NorthPort have signed Roy Sumang so i think they are filling the spot of the point guard position in case Robert Bolick and Nico Elorde won't be back to their line-up.

Greg Slaughter is a restricted free agent so i think he will be back with NorthPort to man the middle, they just have to offer what's best for this gentle giant and surely he will be back with them.
Did a quick search into Sumang and it seems that he just came back after at least a year of not playing.
His last conference where he played was in 2020 in Blackwater where he averaged 10 points per game there.

Its a good think that NorthPort gave him another chance. With regards to Slaughter, I hope that he will stay with NorthPort. The team and his training session outside PH is the reason why he is better now and he is a good addition to the team and he is fit with the roster.

He really fits on the Northport, the team is more competitive with him. I guess, since he was ditch away by an SMB team, if he will ever play, he would not choose any of the SMB teams but probably would play with the TNT, just my wild speculation.

KBL x PBA?
This is the most recent news that's just been published today on PBA's website. KBL = Korean Basketball League
This is actually good news although they're still in discussions about a possible partnership in the future. Honestly, this is a good development and this is going to slap those PBA haters that are also saying that they don't want to upgrade.

I don't know what's the benefit of this partnership, I read the article in the link but it does not detail the full information on what's the purpose of the partnership. If this is good for the PBA and the players will be given more opportunity, then I think this is a good one.

At least Sumang now are in a decent team, not a championship team but playing with Greg, that would be easy for him and I'm sure he will be more effective as he loves to drive the ball, and with Greg's height, they can get the offensive rebound and also Greg could be ready for the dish.

Sumang is a legit competitor of Terrence Romeo back in college days if I'm not mistaken, so he is really a tough guy and I'm happy that he finally found a good team. North is not a big team as it's not owned by SMB or TNT but this team has become better as they keep adding good players.

If Greg will still sign with Northport, then this team is going to be a legit threat to the big teams in the PBA.

The Schedule of the games is already posted.

It's official, they will resume on Friday, you can also check on their website to verify the information  https://pba.ph/schedule

Good luck to the fans and bettors at the same time, time to put a bet on PBA games again.
Good news then.
Everyone has been waiting for this. I thought when the PBA officials said that they're willing to delay the league for allowing some TNT players to add to the roster of Gilas is like it will really be delayed and the said date won't pursue. But, I was wrong with that, and here goes the schedule that shall come again to see some great action. I'm seeing too many hates on PBA on social media platforms, it's understandable in that sense but we can't deny the fact that we're all excited when the games are back.
Glad that it's now official and the schedule resume will be taking place. Time to place your bet now and choose which team you think

have a better chance of winning, there are good games and it's really interesting both TNT and NLEX have their respective schedule. I'm going

to check these two and if possible parlaying both ML might be my pick for this upcoming resume..

It will be an interesting comeback. Teams are well rested though practices might be limited, they got lesser time but they are all pro

they can work it up and try to bring a good outcome.
Yeah, glad to see it back. And it's now up to you who's you're going to bet. While there's the other news about Gilas, we can still get on action through the PBA since the games are back again.
This is what we've been waiting for, the boredom that has striked us for the past few weeks is now going to go away. At least for those that who realyl want to see PBA back.

we have Bolts vs Warriors, and in the 2nd game hotshots vs TNT.
My pick would be the NLEX and TNT.

TNT's import is still in the adjusting phase. I think that will affect the whole TNT gameplay unless the locals will step up. I'm seeing Hotshots will get that one.

NLEX is also on their hot performance before the conference was delayed. KJ McDaniels is surely hungry to play again at his best.

Yes you are right that KJ McDaniels has a good record before the conference was delayed his shooting is there and his performances will show us how he handled the game and proved that he is the best import but not just only McDaniels has a good record even the barangay ginebra's import which is justine Brownlee doing great like Mcdaniels did.

Still, I'm waiting for the Blackwater's first victory. Can they can get it this season? Will the streak continues until next season? Will the Bossing have any adjustments with regards to their roster? These are some of the questions that I'm still waiting to get answered. I will be happy if they will get even only 1 win this season but on the other hand, it would be better if they will continue their streak (sarcasm) Cheesy.

A big fan of Blackwater here as I always follow their new record every game.

They don't need to play hard at this conference. They just have to tank and get a good draft slot next conference.

I'm still looking forward to their continuous losing streak this season. It's the hardest achievement to achieve even in NBA. They are truly great on that part.

Stop that man, lol.. Though I don't like that team but I'm still hopeful that one day they'll be able to break their losing streak, it has gone too far, it looks like they are already not competing hard and they just brand themselves as losers, I don't want that.

It's a challenge hahaha  Wink still unable to win a single, maybe after that long rest they'll be able to get one..

Not sure but it's possible to settle that by offering something to the other team and to let them win. "hulog" something like that

will allow them to take that one and put a line to their winning stat.

Let's see on the return of the PBA, I think it's more exciting to watch if we will put a bet for the team to win, I'm sure they'll remain as an underdog, so we will be getting good odds if they'll win. This is a big gamble I know, but if you are a gambler, you are willing to take the risk even if the team you are betting has a very low chance of wining.

Hmmmmmm, I'll take that "fan" thing as a joke and sarcasm I think because I don't know why you are a fan of the team. I mean we have teams that are supporting but... still I don't know why. Apologies.

With regards to tanking, next draft they might get a better player right now because they didn't get good ones last draft pick. The problem though is when these 2 big companies will try to get that player. Just see what happened to CJ Perez when he is in Columbian Dyip (TerraFirma now). SMB got him into a controversial and we know-not-equal trade. It will happen again with BlackWater trust me Smiley.

I can't remember how many straight losses they have already but they might beat the longest streak in NBA history with 26. You can see it here what TEAM is it.

Maybe going to the total betting is a great idea, since they are from a long layoff, I think betting on under would be a good idea too.

But if you will notice, bookies are so wise that they put Under Total within really a low totals making the bettors think to be confused. For example, Total Under 155.5 @ 1.7. Mostly, games ended up below that score but at @1.7, seems low for average gamblers therefore they will choose Over. Or if you guys understand what I'm pointing out.

Betting on Totals I think is not a good idea but instead, go with the Handicap or Point Spread.

Great news for us, though we already know that they will resume in the 2nd week of this month but that official news is important for us to stop speculating. Good opening games.

we have Bolts vs Warriors, and in the 2nd game hotshots vs TNT.
My pick would be the NLEX and TNT.

It's hard to decide on this matchup as these are top teams now. As per standing, 3 of the teams are in the top 3 (https://pba.ph/standings), TNT does not have a good start but they are still a good team, so I think I will back the TNT here as they will catch up here so I think they'll win.
Coming from that long rest, maybe I'll try to go with live betting instead. I need to see if what adjustments are being taken by each team. For sure they were going to bring us entertaining games, players are also excited to bring something for their fans, it will be a nice opening game, though it's just my own opinion still unsure if that's going to happen or maybe I' just expecting too much after the postponement of those games.. Tongue Roll Eyes
Great idea, we don't know which teams are fully conditioned because the league was on pause for awhile. Maybe going to the total betting is a great idea, since they are from a long layoff, I think betting on under would be a good idea too.
