It's already the DYIP who is leading the game now, we are in the last quarter of the game and looks like they will upset the Northport here.
Perez with already 24 points now, he scores more than their import, if he continues his scoring effort in the 4th quarter, it might result to a big win for the DYIP.

This young player is so talented, he keeps impressing us every time he plays.

Of course Perez has the confidence more than any other of his teammates. Coming from FIBAWC, Perez has build up his confidence and that's why he is leading his team now against Northport.
No doubt as we seen his potential after this FIBAWC, He got the confidence and make his own way to stardom. CJ would be the next face of PBA  if he will
continue to have this monstrous type of game. The advantage of international competitions, just like TR7 after playing with the Team Gilas before he also gained the exposure and now he again showing his skills.

That perez kid did show a lot of people that talent-wise,  we have a good crop of players in the pba in the future. Both him and rob bolick for me, overshadowed their more veteran gilas teammates. Though i have a hinch that he won't stay with columbian dyip for a long time and would probably be shipped to either an smc team or talk n text. That's just me though lol.

If I'm not mistaken, that's their first win in this conference, but its still too early so hopefully they will have a win streak.
Nope mate, it's their second win having a record of 2-1 which lead them to Rank 4 on the overall standing. Anyway, I also hope they could maintain their momentum and have a win streak because this team is what I'm really looking forward (because of Perez lol). However I'm having a doubt that they can win their next match against TNT, I mean they are strong which is very obvious for their clean record of 3-0. Well, who knows? Like the old saying, "Bilog ang bola" Grin.

On the other hand, are you guys enjoying the 2nd game tonight thus far? These two are strong teams in the NBA, though Abueva is still not playing, but with the dominant import of the Phoenix, he will surely help the team to get more wins and be in the playoffs.

Game time again, currently watching an entertaining game between, Northport and columbian DYIP.
I put my bet on columbian DYIP in this game and I like what I'm seeing in the 3rd quarter, hopefully they will win.  Grin

Next game between TNT (undefeated) vs Phoenix, I think will still go with the underdog here and will be on the over,. .
your thoughts guys, share your picks and your opinion.

I believe we have a lot of gamblers in the forum who loves Philippines Basketball particularly PBA, that's why I'm bringing this outside the local.

SMB vs TNT - TNT lead the series at 2-1

What do you think about this series, which team is good to bet?

Just when it comes to PBA issues especially the Semi-finals and Championship Games, there is an increasing number of spinning ending called to us and to which betting team who will win, and I have been a fan of Beermen for decades. Samboy Lim, Fernandez and others are still playing Norman Black.

@mirakal - how about updating or editing the original post? Like a simple "2019 Governor's Cup betting and discussion" for new readers to have an idea what is being talked about now. Clearly, some did not even bother to check the whole thread.

Okay, I will update today, just to avoid some confusion as I think this thread will stay like the NBA discussion thread.

let's continue to make this as one of the most active thread in the gambling section. Thanks Bttzed03 for the suggestion.  Grin Grin

Anyone here already found a sportsbook that has already games of recent games of Philippines Basketball Association (PBA)?
Because last Friday, games on that day, I can't find some sportsbooks that are offering games to bet on, even on one of the famous cryptocurrency gambling website, sportsbet.io. I really can't find the game of Magnolia Hotshots vs Northport Batang Pier and NLEX Road Warriors vs Meralco Bolts.
Lol, I should've won since I am planning to bet on Magnolia Hotshots against Northport Batang Pier.

its available in sportsbet, they are consistent with providing PBA betting odds.

Lol. I can imagine this thread getting to more than a thousand pages. Possible that this be moved to the local boards since the PBA is specific to a local basketball league. But it's good that we get to have a continous discussion about the PBA much like the NBA discussion board. Collegiate leagues like the UAAP i think should also get a healthy discussion from fans as well.

Come on man, there are also leagues that's being discussed here in gambling discussion thread. As long as it tackles more about gambling then this thread cannot beoved to local boards. Anyways, I think there is betting on sportsbet.io regarding UAAP games.

How about changing the topic title to Philippine Basketball Association Discussion (2019 Governor's Cup) and edit the content of the original post to 2019 Governor's Cup betting and discussion because right now it is still the last conference finals.

Maybe you can also add the past conferences similar to the NBA discussion board.

I don't think so, PBA is a major tournament in the Philippines and we also have a lot of bettors from outside the Philippines, like me.
It would be unfair because this two threads still exist here -

La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20

Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread

I second, if this does not fit in this board, it should have been moved a long time ago.
Now that that PBA has started, we will certainly see more visitors here from outside the Philippines and with this way, we guys can promote the Philippine basketball as well, although our brand of basketball is not so good compared to the European basketball and the USA.

yes, I know, I just get a little excited when I read this topic, I didnt know that this topic can be placed in here

What do you mean by replace? This topic will stay forever as long as Philippine Basketball Association will continue to exist.
We should talking about the recent events here, and be specific and avoid making generic posts.

edit. I get what you mean, but you should read the last page as that's where you can find an updated information.

I am a solid fan of SMB ever since, so if I were to choose whose team I'm gonna be, I'll choose SMB of course, it gives me chills especially when every SMB fans will watch together, the crowd goes wild in every climax situation

Hey bro, you are quoting a post which was posted months ago and you are somewhat out of tune now.

We are now discussing on the Governors Cup", so please take a little time to read before replying to a post. Don't be offended, we are happy that you are here participating in the discussion on our very own and beloved PBA.

2nd game SMB -13.5, well I guess that's a decent line given how the alaska played lately.

I think this is a risky bet, we know that SMB has been dominating lately but this is PBA where we don't see a lot of big margin happening or based on its trend. Based on my observation, there are of times that great teams cannot cover the spread and even if a certain team is in lead with double digit, its not guaranteed that they will win and cover.

Just like last night, when Phoenix was already in the lead at more than 20 points but gins rally and bring the game in a single digit game, that's an example that not team can really dominate consistently.
But SMB managed to win with 26 points deficit, Alaska is not showing greatly after Coach Jeff takeover, there's a lot of loopholes that's needed to resolve. Adjustment period might be happening right now from the entire franchise while with SMB, this team is showing more dominance with how all the players rotates and bring a good outcome, still hungry for winning another title.

Lol. Allowing a team to take a 20+ lead just so you can try to stage a comeback is never a good idea. They were outplayed. It's not about never say die attitude. That stigma is slowly fading from this Ginebra team. Their fans are still thinking of the robert jaworski era and the 90s team of david, aquino, hizon and company. A lot of teams now have done the same thing the current ginebra team is doing.

Ginebra were a bad team before Tim Cone took over, slowly they improve but like any good team, there are still time that they will lose and the fact that they come back and almost take the game to OT, I think that's a good attitude.

I still think they have the best import with them, but they should not fully rely on the import, Ginebra is not a good 3 point shooting team while other teams have already improve like TNT and NLEX, they should sign a good 3 point shooting player or develop their own.

What happen to the Ginebra San Miguel? They are down in the first quarter, its 41-24 Phoenix leading the game.
Is there any chance that they will come back and win this game?
What a nearmiss!! I thought Tenorio's 3 point shot on the last 2 min. mark can change their fate but it's not. Well, at least thy abe to minimize the lead of Phoenix from double digit to few points. However, it was not enough! I can see the frustration on Tim Cone's face during their game and while going to the dugout.

Going on Ginebra's last play, for me Anton del Rosario did a great plan and it was well executed too. What I think happened is just that Brownlee made an error which is understandabe tho because of the long range from the ring. That's really a tough shot.

Who would thought that this game will almost go to OT, that was a nice game, Ginebra showed their character of a NSD or never say die.
Moving on to games today, I think I will go with the underdog in the first game and will go with SMB in the 2nd game.

Blackwater is +6.5 now against NLEX, I will go with the moneyline, the winning streak will end today.
